The quote that I've heard you often repeat is the most dangerous person in the world is a man that is broken and alone.
You can have all the muscles in the world, but if you are not mentally strong, you need your mind so badly.
You need it more than your body sometimes.
I became bulletproof. I became invincible here in my body.
Now, nothing can stop me. There's nothing that can break my mind.
and break my mindset, looking on bulletproof.
What if you lose?
I don't even see, I can't, my consciousness don't even elevate that thought.
It's not my nature that allowed it to happen, but I just don't even concentrate on that.
So you don't think the negative?
No, the negative, you always have doubt.
You know, there's always a doubt, and the doubt that you have allows you to perform at a higher level.
There's always doubt.
You know, I have doubt, and you always have insecurities about things.
But those are doubts and insecurities in general just please.
push me to that extra level.
I was afraid.
I was afraid of this, afraid of that, afraid of this, afraid of that.
I knew I had to face it, man.
When you have these ideas of greatness, you've got to go forward.
Every day I wake up, I'm one day closer to death.
So what you're going to do with the time you got left?
The man who really counts in the world is the doer, not the critic.
The man who actually does the work, even if roughly and imperfectly.
Not the man who only talks about how it should be done, but the man who's actually doing it.
The door to destiny is always open if you are brave enough to walk through it.
I remember when I was a kid, I was looking at myself in the mirror, and I didn't like myself.
I didn't like what I saw in myself.
Because I wanted to change my environment, that if you want to change your environment, you want to change yourself.
You need to love yourself first.
And I learned how to love myself.
I didn't love right away in the beginning who I was,
but I love who I could become.
I understand you.
I understand what you desire to do in this life,
as well as what stands in your way of getting there.
I also understand that you are sometimes frustrated and confused
because, well, what you envision is not yet in your life.
But it will be.
And you are capable.
Never question that.
You are right where you need to be, my friend.
I think the greatest gift we have that is all equal in every person, culture, religion, faith is time.
The one thing that is equal is time.
And when you say you can't make it because you don't have enough time, that's simply an illusion.
Time is the greatest thing we have.
It's time for us to step up, not step back.
It's time for us to say, you know what?
The greatest thing I have is the moment I live in,
and what am I going to do to make an impact on my life and everybody else's?
The greatest thing we were given in life that's all equal is time.
And you've got to decide, are you going to take that time
and make a difference, make an impact?
Step up, show up, or are you going to take time to figure out
but you don't have.
You can have what you want in five years.
But there's two conditions.
You have to know what it is,
and you have to aim at.
You can move towards it.
And I know almost all the pleasure
is in the moving toward.
But if you set up a goal that you think is,
you know, just on the edge of conceivability,
then every time you move even a tiny bit towards that,
you're going to think,
good work, man, good work.
You get a little kick from that.
You get a little stronger from that.
Let them underestimate you.
Work in silence.
Stay focused on your path.
And one day, my friend, it will all be worth it.
There will be a day in your future that you look back on a day like today.
And you just smile because it was all worth it.
Because you believed in yourself when no one else did.
When you wake up in the morning, your day begins.
When you go to bed at night, your day doesn't end.
It's a start of how you're going to pick up the next day and start all over again.
What are you going to do today, tomorrow, and the next day with your time?
It's the time that you have that is the greatest asset.
Perhaps the greatest discovery in all of human history is the fact that you become what you think about most of the time.
Emerson said that a person is what he thinks about all day alone.
The way you think determines the way you react and respond to things happening around you.
The way you react and respond determines your emotions.
Your emotions determine your actions.
And your actions determine your results.
Everything begins with your thinking.
Successful high-performance people think about positive, constructive things most of the time.
They think about what they want and how to get it most of the time.
Especially, they maintain hundreds of people.
they maintain high levels of self-acceptance and self-esteem by thinking about their good points,
by thinking about the positive qualities and characteristics that they have and that you have,
and which they have developed over the course of their lifetimes.
Unhappy, negative people think and talk about all the things that they've done wrong,
the mistakes they've made, and the people that have hurt them in the past.
Happy, confident people, instead, think about all the positive things they've done
and achieved over their lifetimes and they look forward to accomplishing even more in the future.
Where will you be in five years' time?
Most people never stop to reflect on this, but the truth is, direction matters much more than speed.
Are your daily habits and choices leading you somewhere you actually want to go?
If not, then reflecting on this question may just be the wake-up call you need.
a reputation you have with yourself. You're watching yourself at all times. You know what you're
doing. And you have your own moral code. Everyone has a different moral code. But if you don't live up
to your own moral code, the same code that you hold others to, it will damage your self-esteem.
So perhaps one way to build up your self-esteem is to live up to your own code, very rigorously
have one and then live up to it. You've got more in you. You've got more capacity in you.
You've got way more bravery than you think.
You've got way more tenacity.
You've got way more audacity in you than you know right now.
And there's one way to establish it.
There's one way to uncover it.
There's one way to find that more.
Do scary.
Do big.
Do all of the things that you're hiding from avoiding right now.
You want to become bigger?
You want to become better?
Do the shit that you're running from right now.
Restart, reset, and refocus.
As many times you need.
You are your own greatest project, but just always remember, don't give up.
You don't know about real loss, because that only occurs when you love something more than you love yourself.
We rise to our maximum potential when we're of service to others.
And not only our maximum potential, but our greatest usefulness and living in that potential,
and usefulness gives us the most kind of rich human satisfaction.
On the one hand, the meaning of life is propagation of yourself,
and the other hand, I would say you make your own deep meaning,
and we all do that, and we live, again, we need a better life
if we develop something important.
Someone else writes music, plays music,
all sorts of ways you can give meaning to your life,
or personal relationships, your love for your spouse, your children, etc.
These all get meaningful to life.
You have to work on yourself, you have to have an unstoppable attitude,
and no excuse is acceptable,
and you've got to make it a priority, a non-negotiable in your life,
and hold a constant vision of what it is you want to achieve.
See it accomplished, and go all out, find a way to work.
win in spite of the setbacks, in spite of the disappointments, in spite of your failures.
I tell people you will fail your way to success. I have the saying is life, not you down,
try and land on your back because if you can look up, you can get up.
When people ask me, like, what's the one thing that led you to having the kind of success
that you've had? I say that. I switched my identity, my sense of pride and self-esteem,
around to something that is truly anti-fragile.
Because now if you tell me that I'm stupid,
I would say, awesome.
In what way?
Because if you tell me in what way I'm wrong,
if you tell me in what way I'm ignorant,
then I can learn.
Go back.
The only belief that matters,
you can learn anything you set your mind to you.
So someone telling you that you're stupid
or undereducated or you don't know
what you're talking about, fantastic.
And that's where most people shut down.
It's like, oh, that really hurts.
You throw up the psychological immune system,
explain them away, they don't make as much money as I do, all things will probably be equally
true. But where does that get you? It keeps you ignorant to a truth about you, by the way, that the
rest of the world knows. In fact, here's something if you're really ready for some truth.
All the things that you hope nobody notices about you, all the weaknesses in your game and your
skill set that you think are so wonderfully hidden, everyone knows all of them.
You're only protecting yourself from the truth.
Everybody else is already thinking.
But becoming anti-fragile,
it is the single most important thing you can do
to supercharge your life and get where you want to go.
You have to always go back to that student mindset.
You have to always go back to that emptiness.
And I think one of the reasons why we struggle with that
is we think that when we're full, we're safe.
Our ego makes us believe that when you're full,
when you think you know it all,
that's when you're safe.
The craziest thing is, that's when you're at your weakest.
Everything I went through, if you learn how to flip that month on top of this head and say, hang on, hang on, there's so much power in this thing.
If you look at life as it is a trial ground, a testing ground for where you need to belong, where you need to go, suffering is a fact of life.
If you look at suffering, the right world is a great tool.
to callous your mind.
It's hard to say what the soul means metaphysically
because, you know, say, beyond the confines
of a single human being,
we do have this sense that the soul can expand itself
into something that's greater than,
well, greater than it has been.
It has this capacity for growth.
And we do have the sense that the soul
can expand itself to the point where it's enlighten,
that it's working as efficiently as possible to transform everything that's
unnecessarily painful and malevolent about the world into what's positive and good and
that it does that as a consequence of confronting the world with courage and truth and I
think that's right and I do think that that means that the sword participates in
something eternal which is the attempt of being itself
to transform what's unnecessarily painful and malevolent into what's good.
I think that it's a mistake to underestimate the importance of that
because I don't think that you can live life,
a life of sufficient profundity to protect yourself from being corrupted
by suffering and malevolence without adopting a responsibility that's commensurate,
with that set of ideas, I think that you either orient yourself up to the star above the horizon
and try desperately to improve the structure of being, or you work at counterpurposes to it
and make things worse.
How people live their lives, as you know, as a result of the story they believe about
themselves.
He interrupted my story.
And I left there with a heart full of faith, not a heart full of fear.
Zig said most people in a fearful situation, they forget everything and run.
But they're a small number.
The road to ride is straight and narrow.
A few there be that find it who face everything and rise.
Every single day, I want you to go to bed at night, stop playing games,
and be honest about the wins and losses.
Don't forget who you are.
Don't forget where you come from.
Give it everything you got.
And if you fail, you can at least do what?
You try.
I give 120% of everything I do.
That's all I'm asking to do.
Not only it's it's possible for you to have your dream,
but it's necessary.
It's necessary that you have it, that you work on it,
that you develop yourself,
that you go for what is yours in the universe.
We train our kids from the time they are born,
to study not because of the love of learning but so that they can pass standardized test that
becomes their goal past the standardized test and then this continues and so what happens is you have
all these people blindly following the herd like sheep so what are the ends what are the end goals
well of course happiness is one right but happiness is a little bit too weak what are truly
the end goals that define us that make us lead awesome lives that will make us know that on the day we
die, we did not waste it.
I think a lot of people are afraid to jump all the way.
It's kind of like having faith.
A lot of us say we believe, but we don't really show it.
Because if we showed it, we would be okay taking a chance in a relationship,
taking a chance switching jobs, taking a chance, going against our parents' wishes.
A lot of people stay in those bubbles, and it's very hard for those people, I believe.
You know, I think it's really fear and lack of jumping in life all the way.
Every human being wants his life enhanced.
If you don't show them proper ways to enhance, they will find shortcuts.
See, a man who goes to the bar and a man who goes to a church or a temple or whatever,
they're seeking the same thing.
They're trying to enhance their life, isn't it?
If you do not show them a proper way, they will take whatever ways are available on the streets.
That's all.
It is just that it sets you backward.
You want to go forward, but it sets you.
forward but it sets you backward. Fear is this mechanism that sort of fills in the
unknown right when we confront times of change times of crisis you know we're
uncertain you know our fears kick in and we fill in really the worst-case
scenario you know we fill in the worst-case scenario and we have all these dark
imaginings and these are things that we tell ourselves there are machinations of
our own mind but these aren't things that we think we experience them as things
that we know. There is one reason and one reason only
that you feel stress and that is that you have a very rigid idea this is the way the universe
should be and the universe is not playing all with you your entire life has been an attempt to
control some part of your environment some part of the universe
Far too many people wake up every single morning in their 40s wondering how the hell did I get here
because they would choose to pick a career before they could legally buy a beer.
Do not fulfill these two needs.
Your psyche, your soul feels deprived and you may be happy but you will not be fulfilled.
And those two were growth and contribution.
Union means whether you are aware of it or you're not aware of it, right now you are happening here as a part of everything else.
What the trees exhale, you're inhaling, what you exhale, the trees are inhaling.
What you think as myself is just a psychological boundary that you have set up.
All human experience is generated from within.
What comes from within you must be the way you want it, isn't it?
So I think having a powerful mindset being unstoppable or just having the ability to go and succeed,
whatever success is for you, you have to be growing because you're not growing and you're
backsliding, right? But you also need a level of grid. And I think grid, just like growth is a muscle.
It's something that you need to sharpen through challenge, because through the challenge, you get the
change that comes from it.
We spend too much of our emotional energy
on the two, three, or four things that we think are wrong in our lives.
And we entirely ignore the 30, 40, 50, 50, 200 things which are pretty done good in our lives.
We are, you know, so often our own worst enemies, right?
We keep ourselves, you know, off the stage, you know, for fear of bad reviews.
Maybe this is crazy, maybe it's not.
Maybe, you know, maybe everybody thinks I'm, you know, way off base here, whatever.
All the what-ifs, although, you know, why I should, whatever.
I put all that aside.
And I have committed to, you know, enter the arena.
It doesn't have to make sense to anyone else, why it's a big move.
It's a big move for you.
It's important to pay attention to those feelings,
because often that's the strongman inside trying to tell you,
we can do this.
You know, let's get over our fears.
Let's get over our self-doubt.
And let's do this.
A good goal should scare you a little and excite you a lot.
So ask yourself, does this goal scare me slightly?
But does it excite you?
It should scare you a little.
You should, because if it isn't scaring you, you aren't dreaming big enough.
And it should excite you.
Because if it doesn't excite you, you've picked a means goal and not an end goal.
I think some of the most successful people live at the edge of their limits.
You know, and they play there also as well.
And so whenever I feel in my nervous system, I feel like I can't do it,
then I feel like I really must do it, because I feel like how we do anything.
How we do anything is how we do everything.
What comes from around you may not be the way you want it.
But what comes from within you must be the way you want it.
If whatever happens within you the way you want it,
will you be blessed out or miserable?
We are talking about consciousness.
Commandments won't fly.
Commandments means you're trying to fix your life.
Consciousness means you want to liberate your life.
My intention is you must liberate your life.
Once you're willing to take responsibility for the fact that you are literally creating,
the life you are experiencing, the reality, your reality is your creation.
Everything is a choice, every moment of your life.
It is a choice, how do you want to spend that moment, where you want to be?
It is not the circumstances we confront that dictate the lives we experience.
If you push people and ask them what they want, they're going to tell you that they want to be happy.
Nobody really talks that next step, which is what is the fundamental building block to happen?
What is that keystone piece?
The one without which everything falls apart.
And I really believe, and I believe this through experience myself and seeing other people,
that that keystone brick to happiness is progress.
In our evolutionary psychology, we have this fear.
I'll die if you don't like me.
And we try to get over it by buying stuff or trying to impress people.
And what you should do is impress upon your mind.
Look, I know you think I'm going to die from rejection.
I'm not.
Actually, it's going to make me stronger.
And if you can dialogue with yourself and go,
I feel a bit sad.
It's not going to kill me.
Then it does make you stronger.
Take a bit of a look at yourself and think about what's not so good,
that you could improve,
that you should improve by your own standards,
and that you would improve.
There's things you can do to improve,
and you know what they are.
And the small steps that you could take that you might take that would put you in that direction.
And then the question is, are you big enough to take those small steps?
You know, the answer to that is, yeah, you are.
Most people have things they avoid, you know, and they're afraid of.
So I would say to some degree, it's the Lord of everyone.
Your life is a physical manifestation of the conversation going on in your head.
Your life is a physical manifestation of the conversation going on in your head.
If you said nothing but thought everything, your life is going to show up to make your thoughts true.
See, you have one job.
You have one job in your life for you to make what you think about life true so that you're not wrong.
You don't want to walk around wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong.
You want to be right about the life you see.
So you're going to work hard to produce the life that you talk about in your mind.
Our standards are a reflection of the actions that we take or fail to take.
And a lot of times, the actions that we take that, you know, move our life forward are a result of us feeling good enough to do that.
We're not always going to feel great, but honestly, like, in order to get yourself up and get yourself moving, like, you're just going to get up.
You can feel good, man.
You have to take action.
It's a process through your physical fitness, through your mental fitness, through your contribution.
If you want to be successful and it really doesn't matter how you define success,
It really doesn't matter what the specific manifestations of success are for you.
If you want to be successful, it all starts with a growth mindset.
Right now, in this moment, if you do one thing, it will change every aspect of the rest of your life.
And that is to adopt a growth mindset.
It doesn't matter how talented you are, if you don't have self-belief, you're not going to get anywhere.
If you have extraordinary self-belief, a very little talent, you can get everywhere.
But if you have both, if you have both, if you have self-belief, you're not going to get anywhere.
But if you have both, if you have talent and belief, it will actually make you unstoppable.
They say, if at first you fail, then try, try again.
Persistence is helpful because it enables you to run many, many experiments.
And you need to know that the baseline is failure.
You know, it's important because otherwise you'll blame that on yourself.
When you speak, you speak your future into the world.
Whatever falls off your tongue, when you say, I,
I am, unconscious minds, and you are so.
Whatever comes on the other side of that.
That all of us in life have things we want.
We don't get what we want.
We get what we have to have.
Remember I said earlier?
We all get what we tolerate in ourselves and other people.
But when you're no longer willing to tolerate something,
that's when your life changes.
And we can thrive.
under the difficult conditions that make up our lives and we can resist the malevolence that
entices us that's within our power asking the right questions is so fundamental and so powerful
I encourage you guys all to really think about the questions that you ask yourself because it will
determine everything about your life your life is determined by the quality of your questions
everyone's good at something you know you're not meant to be good at everything it's no good
being a jack of alt-trace and a master of none.
So be really good at what you're good at.
And don't worry about what you're not good at,
because we're not all supposed to be good at the same thing.
And then you challenge yourself.
It's like, well, could I do this?
That would be better.
And you find out.
And then you think, well, is there something slightly larger
and more challenging that I could do?
That would be better.
And you try it and you find out.
And as you try it and you find out,
generally you get better at it.
And you can take on larger and larger,
and larger challenges.
You get what you focus on.
You get what you focus on.
If you focus on fear, dread, incompetence,
possible danger, possible failure,
then that's where your mind is.
Your mind is totally consumed by those thoughts.
But if on the other hand,
you think about possibility,
what can you, how good you can get,
the amazing things that could happen,
then that's what you're most.
is concerned about.
The difference in people is their standards, period.
The difference in people is their standards, period.
And what do I mean by standards?
Everyone in the world has a list of things they think they should do.
I should work out.
I should work harder.
And then you know what?
People don't do their shoulds and they get mad at themselves.
What changes people is when you should becomes a must.
I've always looked for different
disgrace for quotes.
We look to movies,
look to people who inspire us.
We're looking for answers.
I'm here to tell you.
The answers are right here.
You're in you.
You got to figure out.
You got to figure out the answer yourself.
I can't tell you.
This graceful cloak can't tell you.
It's inside of you.
You got to go to that spot.
You're ahead.
Maybe you don't want to go.
You find this.
Fear is not your enemy.
Fear is your friend.
Fear reminds you that you have not arrived to the top of the mountain,
that you're still climbing with the rest of us.
Average becomes sort of like this slow asphyxiation.
It's almost like an anesthetic.
And that over time we become kind of immune and dulled to the average that we're becoming.
You're going to get out of your life what you'll accept.
That's really difficult for people I think to understand is,
look, what you think you're worth of what you're going to tolerate
is absolutely what you're going to bring into your life.
and what the outward part of your life is going to look like.
If you're playing a role, if you're wearing a mask,
if you're dressed in clothes that are not yours,
then you end up living a life that's not.
When you fake being someone for so long,
you think it's your reality.
And that's what happens to all of us.
We play a role at work, we play a role at home,
we play a role with our family, play a role at our friends,
and then we think that role is us.
Go out there and put yourself out there.
And then on the other side, what is the thing, what is the antagonist of belief?
Well, the antagonist of belief is fear.
You know, fear is a belief that something negative is going to happen rather than something positive is going down.
So it's like that's on the other side.
You're almost believing in your failure, right, rather than believing in your success.
So you have to go attack and collapse these different fears.
And part of that is going to be sucking out the penalty if you fail, right?
Because a lot of the fear comes because we're afraid that we're afraid that we're going to be.
going to judge ourselves harshly or whatever. So you got to realize like there is no such thing
as failure. There's just learning. Fear is the willingness. Concern, question, and doubt in one hand
is the willingness to hold passion in the other. And the main thing I would say is what you can do
right now is find meaning in what you do. Make what you do your meaningful, passion and purposeful.
You don't need to suddenly look to become an entrepreneur or start a side hustle or find some more time, find meaning.
And the way you find meaning, as you genuinely stop, press pause for a second and go, what am I living for?
So for me personally, I'm constantly in a crisis to get to the next version.
The guy sitting in front of you right now, if I come back in a year and I'm just the same exact person with the same thoughts, same ideas, same ways of delivering them, this was a wasted year of my life.
right so I want to know how to get to that next version of me so I got to ask so how important is it to you to grow because you would put on earth to grow to contribute to serve to help you were in your way and the current version of you is perfect as it stands right now but it will be inferior next year ladies men you too you are perfect as you exist right now but that version of you isn't sufficient next year you just got to understand the only thing
thing that you're responsible for is your best. Like you can't do better than your best. You just
do your best. And if you try to obsess too much, you're not doing your best. You're going to be
paralyzed, right? So you have to get as much information as you can, make the most educated
choice, make sure that you're not choosing based on ego or emotion or, you know, greed or these
other forces that dilute you and prevent you from thinking clearly. But if you do your best and
you fail, like, what are you going to do? Beat yourself up for that. Like, that doesn't make any
sense. If you're doing your best, if you're really laying it out there, there's nothing
more you can do. And that's, I think, that's really the key is just to constantly
rest and rely on that fact that I'm just, I'm doing my best. And there's nothing, nothing more
than that. You're waiting to be without fear to jump in? And do you know it's the very fear
that will make you so deliciously beautiful at what you're doing? I'm just not going to judge the moment.
Don't judge the moment because what we do is we try to label moments as good or bad and when you label the moment as bad
It now does not have the opportunity to become good
As soon as you start labeling people or anything is good or bad
You limit it you stop it from being something else and here's the truth
Every moment can evolve into being anything if you give it the opportunity to it
Your mind gravitates towards which it is most familiar with
And so if you're really familiar with what you're worried about and what your problems are and your fears are, and that becomes you're dominating thinking.
I know you've all heard this, but here's the reason why.
Your mind loves this familiar.
You will not probably produce many things in your life that you've not visited either mentally or literally thousands of times.
What would you do if you knew you couldn't fail?
How big would you play?
if you knew that you could survive any heartbreak, any breakdown, any betrayal, what would you do if the things that you were afraid of you knew were absolutely nothing?
They were all opportunities for you to get stronger in your faith, stronger in your resiliency.
What would you do?
You get to design it any way you choose.
You're not sentenced to your future.
You have an opportunity to your future.
What do you want and how do you want it?
And if it doesn't make you a little afraid, then you ain't playing it.
and big enough. We mistake the fact that we're supposed to be comfortable 24-7. Well, let me tell you
something. Comfortable is equivalent to complacent. It says when you protect your purpose,
your purpose protects you. Your purpose is like a rare jewel. People are going to tell you
every day that that jewel is not worth it easily. They're going to tell you that that jewel
is actually valueless. It doesn't have any impact on your life. They're going to try and take
away that value. They're going to tell you that there's another jewel out there that you need
to have more value. Protect your purpose. You have to protect it. So what happens is your success
grows, you get more opportunities, more ideas, temptations, but they can take you away from your
purpose. I'm like, I just want to stick to what I was going to do. And I'm so grateful that I get to do
I'm so happy I get to do it and I want to keep protecting it.
I don't want to get lost in the waves.
So look fear in the face and then stand on the edge.
Hold fear.
Don't wait for the fear to leave you.
Hold fear in one hand and passion in the other and leap.
Leap.
If you are in a dark place and you hear, change is real.
Change is possible.
Doesn't that lift your move?
Don't you want that to be true?
And once you allow it,
because you have to allow it,
once you allow that to lift your mood,
and you're like,
I feel better just by thinking I can change.
That was huge for me.
That was like moment one was when I realized.
I actually can change.
So this thing that feels like a death threat,
this like smothering cloud of just like despair,
it can clear away.
And it immediately, and it's not like,
oh, it went from gray skies to blue skies.
It wasn't that immediate.
But it was, it literally is.
immediately a lighter load just because I realized I can change. And people are always looking for
how do I have that energy? I'm depressed. I'm down to myself. How do I get the energy to push through?
Man, you've got to find a way to find energy in that. You can change. So whatever position you're in
right now, you can change. No matter what it is, no matter how horrific, no matter what you've been
through, no matter what you've done. Like there is a way of from under it. But part of it is
allowing that sense of lightness to be there.
This one fact would change their life forever.
You don't get skills because it looks good on the resume.
You get skills because it lets you do the thing you want to do.
Stronger the emotion you feel from some outer experience in your life,
the more altered you feel, the more the brain freezes the frame,
it takes a snapshot.
Well, now you're freezing the frame in the outer environment.
But if you're truly in the present moment and you know exactly what you want,
When the heart moves into this kind of rhythm, when you're feeling frustration, when you're feeling impatient, when you're feeling resentment, you were stepping on the gas pedal.
The heart is pumping against the closed system and it causes an erratic beat.
It becomes incoherent.
And energy literally leaves the heart.
Now you no longer believe in your future.
You can't put your heart into your future.
You can't trust the outcome because there's no energy there.
It's being used and consumed somewhere else.
Energy is leaving the brain as well.
But once energy starts to move into the heart,
the heart begins to create a wave of energy right to the brain.
And then all of a sudden you see this wave,
and the person starts to get a very clear idea.
They see their future very clearly,
which is the state of creation.
This is when you no longer hear the voice in your head that's talking to you
that you listen to and believe is the truth.
It suppresses the default mode network,
and the next thing you know, you start seeing in pictures and images.
You start dreaming.
And that's the imagination.
That's the creative state.
So now you start naturally imagining the heart is the creative center.
I think one of the biggest challenges with change is too much pressure,
especially when someone has other challenges that affect the challenge of distraction.
And I would look at small incremental changes.
Small changes, but a big priority in their life.
The challenge I find is that too many of us are trying to change too many things all at the same time.
Small step, big priority.
Try and change one small thing, but make it the biggest priority of the week.
What we do are you try to make big steps and make them all small priorities.
We want to shift that.
Shift it the other way around.
To help that person find a small little baby step that they can take,
the children have moments in their life where certain things start evolving for them.
That's how we're built.
That's how we're wired.
So allowing that to happen continuously, even when we grow older, makes it easier for that person as well.
We all get to decide what our values are, what our belief system is, what our rules in life are, the code of ethics that we live by.
Those are all decisions that people mistake for empirical truth.
But if you want to know how just unimperically true it is, look across all societies they don't share it.
The reality is that we're all constructing this belief system value system, honor code, all of it, and it's going to determine what we do and how we do.
Wait to get it right. You figure out how does it look doing it wrong?
What do you wait on? Are you willing to do it afraid? Are you willing to do it knowing that you got so much work to do to get it better to get it more perfect? But are you willing to do it inside your imperfection? Do you realize that in your imperfection you're perfect for the job?
Here's another great fact. You can change your thoughts anytime you like and if you change your thinking it changes your own.
entire life. You have a sophisticated sense of the world. You find, for example, that doing things
for other people is actually more rewarding than virtually anything else you can do. You know,
when you hear you should be of service to other people. Well, if you actually watch yourself,
you pay attention to yourself and you do something that helps someone else and it genuinely
helps them, I defy you to find another experience.
that is that satisfied.
It's actually quite stunning how satisfying that is.
And so that's a very useful thing to realize.
When you are talking to yourself, who is talking and who is listening?
It's only one of you, but we act like there's two.
So the one who's talking that's saying you're inadequate,
you're never going to amount to anything, you're not perfect,
you need to wait, it's not the right time,
calls this resistance. It's profound. It's deep. You know, all the problems come from resistance.
But who is that voice talking to? It's talking to a voice that wants to be trusted. It's talking to a voice
that once said something creative, once did something that was funny, once made something
better. All of us have done it at least once. And then along the way, resistance in that voice
persuaded us not to trust that self. And if we turn off social media, the only person
left to talk to is the self. And if we can adopt a practice and give in a self room,
it will surprise us. It won't always be right. It won't always be successful. But it will
always be better than your hustling, hacking way of just playing with the system.
The way you feel about everything is down to two things.
The pictures you make in your head and the words.
The way you feel about everything, every minute of every day is only down to two things.
The pictures you make in your head and the words you save.
We are most alive.
We have the most energy.
We are most intimate with our best selves when we're progressing towards our mighty mission.
I think what's happened on the planet right now is there's been a great seduction and a great brain.
When we are kids, we want.
We want to be astronauts.
We want to do all our dreams.
And we're full of curiosity.
And we're loving.
And we're passionate.
We're strong.
We're not afraid to be ourselves.
But as we leave the perfection of childhood,
the hypnosis and the brainwashing begins.
Be reasonable.
So that's our nature.
But our parents give us limitation based on their
limited psychology.
And don't sing too loudly.
Don't dream too big.
Don't be too passionate.
As we've left who we truly are, we've contracted.
And now it's all about staying safe in the world
versus going out there and letting our brilliant,
our primal genius shine.
And a lot of people just have stuffed that pain of disappointment
and their doubt really deep inside.
And they just are addicted to distraction and escapes
because they don't want to deal with their potential that they've denied.
Before you can be a painter who can paint what's beyond mere memory
You have to inculcate that discipline skill, and a lot of that is painful repetition and hard grinding work.
It's the sacrifice of the present for the future.
But once you manage that, then things open up, and virtually everything you learn of value is like that.
And while you're learning those rules, the probability that you have any creative freedom to speak of or any facility with the rules is very low.
You're a rank beginner.
And even to some degree, whatever creativity you have is going to have.
to be stifled while you're passing through that keyhole.
But if you pass through it, then something massive opens up on the other side.
You have to narrow yourself first, and then you can broaden outward.
Anybody, not just Navy Steels, but anybody that can accomplish anything that is hard,
the only separator is that they really want to be there.
There's some people that get inspired and that inspiration moves them
to try to do something.
But the inspiration,
I watch a movie about some badasses,
you're inspired.
But the second, you're not in this environment
and you're actually doing what inspired you.
That suck factor is not real.
One of the real reasons we don't do the things that frighten us
is because we are afraid of being judged.
And so to become fearless,
why not find some time every day
to practice?
becoming fearless.
Stop resisting.
I encourage you.
Stop resisting the natural flow
of epic performance.
Stop resisting
the natural seasons of life.
But something that
the more somebody goes after it,
the better off I'm going to be,
the more it's going to push me towards my goals.
And that thing is,
and if somebody has a better answer,
I will take it.
But the only way to build your ego
that is truly anti-fragile
that I have found is to be the learner,
to be willing to admit when you're wrong,
to look at your goal and work backwards
and say, is what I'm doing actually moving me towards my goal or not?
Not does it make me feel good about myself?
Not am I right, not am I smart?
Is it moving me towards my goal?
And if it is, then you do it.
And if it doesn't, then you don't.
It is better to live courageously than cowardly.
Better to live truthfully than in deceit.
And you can tell that too because that's also what you tell people that you love.
And we know that you should pick up your damn responsibility and move forward.
Everyone knows that.
It's part of our intrinsic moral nature.
And that nature is there.
Greatest heartbreak is being untrue to yourself.
There's something I believe in which.
as instinct is much more powerful and wiser than intellect.
And I think when all of us trust our instinct in a world that says intellect and logic is everything,
find your destiny doesn't knock, it whispers.
And so it wasn't this epiphany, you know.
It was just, I think when you start to trust your instinct and trust yourself versus the world
and you sort of block out the opinions of other people, the pace of synchronicity starts
to open up and these doors that you're supposed to walk through start to present themselves to you.
But if you want to have the passion to make something big, to make big change, it's got to be
something that you believe in beyond reasonable doubt. It's got to be something you've just got
to make happen. So ask yourself, do I want to know more about this than anyone else? Because you're
going to have to get better at it than anyone else if you want to be excellent and deliver on
the promise.
The critical requirement of individual being in the proper sense is to constantly note that you're not what you could be, to take responsibility for that and to commit yourself, like, body and soul, to the attainment of that ideal.
For some people, it's been asleep for a long time because they're afraid.
They're afraid that I'm going to get hungry, I'm going to try, I'm going to fail.
And so it's human nature to protect yourself from the fear by just lowering your expectations.
But one of the things I've learned is you get what you tolerate.
You get what you tolerate yourself.
You get into your life.
And sooner or later, we sometimes hit a point where we say,
not another day, not an hour, this is done.
I'm not walking this way.
I'm not talking this way.
I'm not going to be in this relationship anymore.
I'm going to change it.
And when people do that, that's the beginning of a breakthrough.
Happiness is not about achieving things.
It's not about getting a result.
It's about how you pursue the things that you enjoy
and why you're pursuing that.
And so the key to life, and I'm seeing it happen in my own life,
is not actually checking the boxes
and getting all those things that you dream about.
It's how you go about living your life as you're pursuing.
What do I have to look forward to?
Nothing if you've already achieved it,
which is why it's so important for you
to understand that the real meaning of happiness
is about how you show up every day.
Yes, you should have.
have good goals yes you should have big dreams yes yes yes you should pursue them oh don't ever
think that quote making your dreams come true is what actually makes you happy because what actually
makes you happy is having those big dreams and waking up every morning and doing a little something
to push yourself to make what happen it's about to pursue everybody wants to win but in order to
know how to win you got to know how to lose because you're going to lose more than you're going to win
But every time you lose, what are you gained from?
The number one thing that's going to change your life, the only thing that will change your life, change your business, change your money, change your relationship, is you must raise your standard.
I know that sounds boring, stupid, basic, but it's the truth.
That all of us in life have things we want.
We don't get what we want.
We get what we have to have.
People aren't waiting to be cut.
Some people are moving on their own
because they feel within themselves,
I've got what it takes to make it.
They're not afraid about tomorrow
because of how they see themselves.
Somebody's throwing a rock at you
with the intention of hurting you.
You can put your defenses up,
you will deflect that rock, never to be seen again,
or you can lower your defenses, let it hit you in the face,
knowing that it will hurt,
but also knowing now at your feet is not a rock, it's a lump of gold.
Because they've given you an insight into where you are weak.
Now, once you know where you are weak,
you can begin to build yourself.
And that is my thesis on life.
You get to build yourself in any direction you want,
in any way to become anything you want.
There will be an extraordinary price to pay,
but you can go in any direction.
Identify your gift and get busy with.
God gave all of you a gift.
Identify your gift.
It is the thing that you do the absolute best
with the least amount of effort.
That's your gift.
Get busy at that.
Remember I said earlier?
We all get what we tolerate.
in ourselves and other people.
But when you're no longer willing to tolerate something,
that's when your life changes.
The difference in people is their standards.
The difference in people is their standards.
Period.
We're living in such an amazing time right now.
I mean, if you are not being challenged in some way in your life,
you're not alive.
And all of this is an initiation.
If you see your life as the school, as the initiation,
then you can no longer be a victim to your life.
You're going to have to meet the challenges in your life
from a greater level of mind, greater than the mind that created.
It's like we're built for struggle, us human beings.
You're not after.
We're built to contend with the world.
We're built to contend with reality.
You want a challenge.
And the best way that you can take on a challenge
because the challenge fortifies you.
So you don't want to be secure, you want to be strong.
And you get strong by taking on optimal challenges.
And so you lay out your destiny in the world
and you tape the slings and arrows of fate.
And you make yourself stronger while you're doing so.
And you might fail.
And fortune might do you in.
But it's your best bet.
After the first time that you opt to brave their wilderness,
you pull away from what a group of people thinks.
Maybe it's your creative community, it's your critics.
The first time you pull away and find power in standing on your own, I think your heart is marked by the wild.
I think you belong in and to the wilderness in a different way.
Because every time after that, when you choose fitting in over belonging to yourself, it's painful.
When there is adversity and when there are challenges in our life, the question, of course, becomes how do we become supernatural?
And that means we're going to have to do what feels unnatural at first.
What would your life be like as you look toward the future?
If you decided I'm not going to allow my fears to stop me.
What would your life be like?
What would your future be like if you decided to want that which you desire so strongly
that it prepares you pass your fears?
has a list of things they think they should do.
I should lose weight.
I should work out.
I should spend more time with my kids.
I should work harder.
I should make more calls.
I should.
I should.
I should.
And then you know what?
People don't do their shoulds
and they get mad at themselves.
What changes people is when your should becomes a must.
You get all these things that come to you
that seem to be simply true.
I believed that the human mind couldn't change.
I believed that it was fixed.
I believed that my talent and intelligence
were just what they were.
It all seemed true.
It wasn't like I knew it to be a lie.
It wasn't even like I knew that I had a choice
to think of it a different way.
And one of my favorite quotes of all time
is from Albert Einstein.
And he said the most important decision
any human being has to make is whether
they live in a friendly or a hostile universe.
And suddenly the thing you said should happen has to happen.
That's where human beings change.
And the question is, if you die today, what dreams?
What ideas?
What talents?
What books?
What music?
What leadership?
What voice will die with you.
So you better love what you do?
on a day-to-day basis.
The only moment that's real is right now.
Now follows you.
If you've been sitting around waiting for somebody
to discover you, to pick you, to save you, to rescue,
to give you your shot, it's not going to happen.
Like, at some point you've got to wake up and realize
you have to parent yourself.
Your life is your responsibility.
Close your eyes.
Retreat from your life.
Disconnect from your body.
your body, disconnect from your environment, disconnect from your schedule, and just give yourself an hour
or 45 minutes or 20 minutes. Because when you invest in yourself, you invest in your future.
And when you believe in yourself, you believe in possibilities. And when you believe in
possibilities, you believe in yourself. And if you don't believe in possibilities, then you don't
believe in yourself, you don't believe in possibilities. So then, but if you have a community,
a living organism where it's becoming the new normal.
You want to join that living organism.
You want to, every stride you make feeds the living organism.
Every stride, every effort you make to connect is amazing because that which we are seeking
is seeking us.
So the real question is, what is it that you can fall in love with enough that makes all the
fighting through the negative voice and all of that work?
So that's number one. It's just to recognize that you've got a long timeline ahead of it.
So when you stop outsourcing your happiness, your validation, your support, all of it,
and you bring it back in and you get responsible for it, it sounds scary. It's so liberated
because you could do anything. When you're responsible, when you're the driver of your life,
when you're not looking out to anybody else to fix it for you.
Can you ask for help?
Of course.
But the buck stops with you.
You're the one that has to do the work.
You're the one who has to push your own ass.
You're the one who has to figure out what makes you happy.
You're the one who has to figure out and become self-aware about what you need.
And then you're the one that has to find whatever it is, the courage or being humble enough, to ask for help.
That's the eternal problem of life.
And the problem is...
There is the category of problems in life, and it ain't going anywhere.
And so the question is, can you deal with the whole category at the same time?
That's the thing. That's how to be in the world.
It's to deal with that category all at the same time.
Sacrifice. What does that mean? Sacrifice.
Well, it's a discovery, man. It's the discovery of the future.
It's like the future is actually the place where there is threat.
It's always going to be there. So what do you do?
You make sacrifices in the present for that the future is better.
Right.
Forstall gratification now.
And it'll pay off at a place and time that doesn't even exist yet.
It's like, who would have believed that?
It's like that's a miracle that that occurs.
And it's not like people just figure that over night.
Most people aren't obsessed with their goals because they don't believe they're worthy of them.
it's easy to dream about what you want but in between where you are and what you want there's a
tremendous amount of stuff you've got to change to do and if you have a lot of trauma in your
background you have been given the message over and over and over even though it's not true
that you don't deserve it that there's something wrong with you and if you don't at some point
be defiant against what the world or your caregivers or your past experience has pounded into your brain
incorrectly unfairly you will forever be stuck with that story pain plus reflection equals progress
and i think that that's incredibly incredibly true and the human animal just needs that bit of pain
it is the compass that's going to allow you if you reflect on why you're feeling that pain what you did
wrong, how you failed, you don't deflect, you don't make it somebody else's problem, you really
just look at how did I fuck this up? If you look at that and are willing to make the changes,
you really will make progress. I don't see a way to really have grand scale change without the
suffering. That's the truth. The idea is that nothing brings a better world into being than the
stated truth. Now you might have to pay a price for that, but that's fine. You're going to pay a
price for every bloody thing you do and everything you don't do. You don't get to. You don't get
choose to not pay a price. You get to choose which poison you're going to take. That's it.
So if you're going to stand up for something, stand up for your truth. It'll shape you because
people will respond and object and tell you why you're a fool and a biased moron and why you're
ignorant. And then if you listen to them, you'll be just that led much less like that the next time
you say something. If you do that for five years, you'll be so damn tough and articulate and
able to communicate and withstand pressure that you won't even recognize yourself and then you'll be a
force to contend with you are not responsible for what happened to you you survived what happened to you
but you do have a responsibility to heal yourself and to do the work to change so that you can be
the happy fulfilled person that you were born to be you can have a mindset that says through my efforts
I can have an impact on the situation that I have.
That's the power that I have.
That's where it begins, begins with you.
Self-confidence, self-love, self-esteem, self-reliance, self-awareness,
it all has the same self.
You have to give yourself those things.
You want validation, give it to yourself.
You want to be cheered for?
Give it to yourself.
You want to feel supported in life? Start by giving those things to yourself because the most important relationship that you have is the one you have with yourself and you work on at the least.
You can have nothing and you can still have your own back. You can have tremendous problems and very real obstacles that you're facing.
And you can have a mindset that says through my efforts,
my attitude, I can have an impact on the situation that I did.
Why do you do this thing every single day and what does it mean to you?
I want you to ask yourself those two questions every single day.
When you get tired, when you're not feeling it, when you don't value it, when you take it for granted,
every single day, why do I do this and what does it mean to you?
Because if you say you do it for a certain reason and it means something to you,
every single day you'll come out and you'll never cheat it and you'll change it and you'll
cherish every single aspect of it for the ability to become great.
The shortcut is a lie.
The hack doesn't get you there.
And if you want to take the easy road, it won't take you to where you want to be.
Stronger, smarter, faster, healthier, better.
To reach goals and overcome obstacles and be the best version of you possible will not happen by itself.
It will not happen by itself. It will not.
happen cutting corners taking shortcuts or looking for the easy way there is no easy way
there is only hard work late nights early mornings practice rehearsal repetition
study sweat blood toil frustration and discipline it's one thing to be hungry
it's another thing when you're starving for greatness and starving for success I
know what it's like to operate
every single day, regardless of the success that I've been a lucky son of a bitch to achieve,
I operate every day as if I'm starving.
I can't get a break in life.
I hate that damn mentality, but I can't get a break.
You aren't giving any bricks in life.
You make them for yourself.
Being tested in life, while my test is different than yours, you will be tested.
And how you face that test and how you overcome that test determines the rest of your life.
The one mentality that you must have in life is that regardless of what's the risk,
front of you, you still must grind. I'll never be in the Olympics, I never be professional athlete,
but still I grind. I feel that most things I do, but still I grind. I want to do have to
do, but still I grind. They'll put out goals, dreams, and aspirations and what they want to
accomplish, but you very rarely hear people say what they're willing to sacrifice in order to
make it happen. They'll tell you the goal, the dream, the aspiration. They'll tell you they want to be elite.
They'll tell you they want to be great, but they're not going to say I'm going to stop going out on Friday night.
They're not going to say I'm a sacrifice and I'm going to stay late.
They'll tell you the goals, the dreams, and the aspirations, but cats will very rarely touch on what they got a sacrifice in order to make it happen,
because wherever their sacrifice is interconnected to accountability.
And what I'm suggesting to you is pain can be transformed into power with the intention to transform pain into power.
You see, what most people do is this is why most good people lose.
They stumble and they fall and they become heartbroken or disappointed by life's challenges that happens to every single one of us.
I am where I am currently because I didn't do X, Y, and Z and guess what?
That hurts a little bit.
That bothers us a little bit.
It's a hard truth to accept.
But once you accept that truth, you are able to then move forward with the actions required.
required to get you to where you want to go.
Your life is the exact reflection of the choices you have made.
Love your life?
Great.
You've made awesome choices.
Hate your life?
I'm sorry.
You've made bad choices.
But the good news is you're in control.
I'm talking to you guys right now who still have hope, who still have the fire.
who still have the want and the will and the desire to be more and become more and contribute more and win more because you know your life will be better and everybody else's life around you will be better.
I'm talking to you motherfuckers. You can do this.
In other words, when the outcome changes and it's not what we want it to be and it doesn't turn out the way we want it to turn out, do we still value the thing that we once said we value?
Is our character still intact?
Right? Because we all know it. Character is not something we in.
inherit. Character something, we gotta wake up every single day. We gotta fight and we gotta build it.
In the midst of our position, in the midst of challenges, in the midst of uncertainty,
we gotta wake up and we gotta build, I used to tell guys all the time, I don't care, I told your father is,
you gotta do your own growing. In other words, every single day, we gotta build our own character.
When they look in the mirror, they're just trying to see what's on the surface.
But winning and losing wants to know what's inside of you. It wants to know what's inside of you.
It wants to know what makes you tick.
It wants to know what your desires are.
It wants to know what your ego is.
It wants to know what your limitations are.
It wants to know what your mindset is.
It wants to know everything about you because winning does not lie.
When you look in the mirror, you can lie and see what's on the surface.
Cannot lie what's going on inside.
Discipline defeats the infinite excuses that say not today.
Not today, not now, I need a rest, I'll do it tomorrow.
What's the hack?
How do you become stronger, smarter, faster, healthier?
How do you become better?
How do you achieve true freedom?
There is only one way.
The way of discipline.
You either are or you fucking are.
You either will or you fucking won't.
You're either going to become or you're not going to become.
You can never lose faith.
That's the key.
You have to believe in something that you can't see.
You have to believe when you can't, when you don't see no way how.
You have to buckle down and keep believing.
Having a biological experience, nature has those two levers, pleasure and pain.
I think a lot of people make the mistake of thinking, well, as long as I don't do things that create a problem, I don't do bad things, I'll be fine.
What could possibly be wrong?
with sitting around in my apartment all day, goofing off, watching TV, playing video games.
But when you put it together, suddenly it does not give you the life you want.
And you start to feel dishease.
You don't feel good.
Something's not right.
Something's off.
That if you do all of the individual things that are fun, it ends up where you feel like crap.
And if you do individually all the things that are hard and a struggle and are difficult,
You end up feeling awesome.
So, get up before the sun.
Be ready to attack.
Yes, that means get up early.
This will be hard at first, but it will become normal.
And once you are accustomed to it, early rising is guaranteed to make your day better.
So get after him.
If you could identify how you could give more, give more of your life,
give more of your belief, get more of your time, give more of your effort, give more of your
energy, you will go to the next level. If you're not feeling great about yourself or where your
life is right now, the pathway out of that is giving. You said, many of us never realize our greatness
because we become sidetracked by secondary activity. You are the star of your show, you are the
director, you're writing the script, and you will determine whether your life is a smashed
off his hip or fly.
It isn't enough to not do something bad.
You have to be pursuing something that matters.
Meaning, purpose.
That's it.
That's the game.
It isn't success.
It isn't wealth.
It isn't adoration.
It's not trophies.
It's not goals.
It's nothing other than fulfillment.
My biggest fear in life is if there is a final resting place in this world.
And there's a final judgment.
You talk to something much bigger than you.
I don't want to sit down and have a conversation with someone that says,
you're in heaven, this is what you should have been on earth.
I want God to be up there right now.
We're speaking, writing stuff down, saying, my God, he exceeded even my expectations.
That's how I live my life.
I now know that there is no cap on the human mind.
There's no cap.
We caping ourselves.
95% of our decisions are made by how you feel in the moment.
And that is the problem.
Do you feel like making that cold call?
No, you don't.
Do you feel like doing that 30%?
set of reps. No, you don't. And if you accept the fact that you may never feel ready and you may
never feel motivated and you may never feel courageous and that's okay, but you can still push
yourself forward. As you start to see yourself becoming the person that takes action, guess what
happens? You build the skill of confidence and courage. When you quit, your mind does this.
When you quit, your mind says, we're done. So it doesn't expand. There's no expansion when you quit.
When you say, fuck you. Uh-uh. This sucks. I'm drowning. I'm
miserable, I'm suffering, I'm broken, but I'm not going anywhere.
What happens to your mind is it does this.
It says, he's not leaving.
So we got to expand.
We got to grow.
We got to figure this fucking thing out.
So then these compartments in your brain, they have to work.
And then you start to engage parts of your mind that you've never engaged before.
When you're in suffer mode and you say, I'm not going to quit.
You're forcing your brain now to operate.
On a level, it's not used to you.
But then it becomes used to me.
The people who go after their stuff, what makes it worth it?
It's got to be your passion.
You've got to love it.
It's got to be what you are supposed to do.
You want to sing you even though they want to invite you to Carnegie Hall.
You're going to sing to anybody that listen to your accoutes singing to yourself.
You've got to write even if no one published your book, write because that was given to you to do.
You do what it is you're supposed to.
You're supposed to build something?
You're supposed to create something?
I don't know how to do it.
Learn do whatever is required.
It's you.
It's on you.
You've got to make that happen.
Nobody's going to bring it to you on a civil planet.
Here's your dream manifested.
No, it's hard.
Yes, it's hard.
It's difficult.
Yes, right?
And it's worth it.
But I also believe at the end of my life that the Lord's going to go,
hey, I want to introduce you to somebody.
This is the man you were destined to be.
This is the man you were destined to be.
you were born to be. You have to start living your life in expectation. You have got to start
expecting great things to happen for you in order for it to happen. If you live your life in despair,
that's what happens to you. Then I'll tell you something else. It is never too late to make that
choice. You are never too old to decide where you are going to focus your efforts and push to
make the most out of every situation.
So,
think not about
what you've been through
and where you were.
Think about where you are going
and choose.
Choose to make yourself
smarter and stronger and
healthier. What if?
If the what if I can pull off a miracle?
What if I can become
someone that no one thinks I can be?
