Well, whatever.
Thunderbolts and lightning.
Very, very exciting.
Oh, that was too.
Thunderbolts and lightning were
There weren't that many
Thunderbolts and Lightning
in this book, I don't think.
I mean, there were definitely,
there were some custodians,
you know, they had Thunderbolts.
There were, sure, sure there were.
There was, there was a lot of stuff in this book.
Yes.
I have thoughts.
Oh, you have thoughts?
All right.
I have thoughts.
How, do you have thoughts?
I have thoughts.
Thoughts, thoughts were had.
Thoughts, thoughts.
thoughts are being done.
Okay, okay, good to know, good to note.
Do you want to hit me with the, well, I guess we'll hit everyone with the quick plot synopsis first.
Okay.
Very easily, this is False Gods, is the sequel to Horace Rising, direct sequel, written by different author, written by Graham McNeil.
The original one was written by Dan Abnett.
Um, both of these writers have written many books before.
And I mean, obviously Dan Abnett, uh, often, uh, consider one of the best.
Uh, Graham Neal, I've seen his name around though.
I don't know if he've read much from him before.
We've read Dan Abnda books.
He did Gons goes.
So we like have at least that, uh, we do have a baseline.
Um, and, uh, it covers.
Oh, Storm of Iron.
That was, uh, Graham McNeil.
Oh, that was him.
Right.
Right. Okay. Um, I, I didn't realize that was him.
Yeah.
Okay.
So Storm of Iron, the Iron Warriors book.
And it basically covers the major event that begins Horace's fall to chaos, being his near death on the moon of Davin, orchestrated by Erebus and the word bearers.
That is the general plot synopsis following main characters being Garvia Loken, Torgadden, a couple other captains.
as well as a couple remembrancers and side characters as well.
Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm.
Tor Gaden has achieved the status of best bro.
I was going to say exact same thing.
I was like,
Horace rising was the Garville Loken.
What a badass.
And this one I'm like,
Torgaden is an absolute Chad.
What a bro.
What a Chad.
Yeah.
He's,
he's,
he's,
he's,
he's,
he's,
he's,
absolutely fantastic.
I thought he was a ton of fun.
Um, you know, he was pretty cool, but in the second half of the book, I was like, oh, he's, what a guy. King shit. Absolutely. Mm-hmm. He's your rider. He's the ride or die friend that everybody needs. Yeah, he really, he really was cool. Um, so we were talking about false gods a little, like here and there, you and I in like a previous episode. We were. Um, you said that you were liking it more than Horace Rising, but you were not fully done yet. Are you now done?
and what are your thoughts?
No, I never finished the damn thing.
I have indeed finished it.
And do I like it more?
I think I might.
I think I might like it a little bit more
just because there's sort of that tragedy in it.
I don't want to say it has like that sort of Order 66 feel to it.
You know, in Star Wars where they hit him with that,
oh yeah, you know, there's this horribly tragic thing.
But, you know, kind of.
So, yeah, I think I like that a little bit more.
Just because there's that, you know, you just, you see the fall coming and you're just not sure when he's going to fully embrace it.
And when he's fully going to, you know, really let it out because he's just kind of like teetering there.
He's teetering on the verge of life and death.
And then, you know, it just kind of all falls apart on him.
And yeah.
Interesting.
So, so you're about equivalent?
Yeah, maybe equivalent.
Interesting, interesting.
I am less hot on it, actually.
Oh, really?
I think the first half was outstanding.
I really at the first half,
I think everything on Davins Moon was like pure cinema.
The moment they land on Davins Moon
and all the nergling people are arriving
and it gets all screwed up,
that stuff I thought was just,
just absolutely fantastic.
I loved it to death.
Um, past that, I, I think the second half of the book is a bit weaker.
Uh, I don't think it's as good, but I just have one major complaint with it, which is that I think Horace's fall is really rushed.
Oh, really?
You think so?
I think so.
I think Horace starts making some really dumb decisions.
decisions and he is is tricked into the opposite side way too quickly and I I think that his his motivation for
turning bad is not very well fleshed I could see that I could see his motivation for turning
chaos isn't super duper well thought out because like he does have like the little um I don't
Like that fever dream, right?
Where he's, he's, he's on death's doorstep.
They don't know if he's going to make it out.
He has the crazy dream with the wolf, you know,
and then Magnus and Airbus come and visit him.
And he's still not really sure which way he's going to go
and what he's really going to do.
And so, yeah, I could see that.
I could see that.
His motivations being maybe not that great
and him may be falling a little too,
quick.
I see that.
Give me some bigger opinions, D.K., you know, like let it out.
Like, be a, like, hold your own opinions out there.
Like, come on.
Tell me I'm wrong.
Well, I mean, I don't think you're entirely wrong, though.
Like, if I thought you had an objectively bad take on this, maybe.
But like.
Objectively bad take.
Yeah.
in a review.
Yeah.
Torgaden is boring.
Like, whoa.
Okay.
Now, now, okay.
Now,
hair up, square up.
Yeah, yeah.
Well, hold on.
Yeah, I don't know,
because it's like,
he arrives in like hell or dimension,
or the warp or whatever he is.
It's a little bit,
it's a little bit weird.
I think the main part is just like,
hey,
good old Horace is there.
And Horace is like,
oh,
I am,
like,
I'm not dead.
I know you're a liar,
Arabis,
or whoever is currently looking at me right now.
And then directly after that,
it's basically like an immediate,
oh,
there's Magnus.
I don't like you either,
Magnus.
And then,
like,
he knows he's being like,
kind of deceived.
But he also is like,
oh,
the emperor is going to become a god
at the end of this.
And he just kind of like rolls with it a little bit.
Yeah.
And I'm not really sure if he can even trust Magnus
because it's just like,
oh,
How do you think Magnus got here?
It's a little fast for me.
Everything else about the book, I really liked.
Garvey Alokin is still great.
He's still a boss.
He's still an absolute baller.
Love that guy.
Torgadden is fantastic.
He sees what's going on with them bringing Horace down to Davon's Moon.
He's like, well, you know, I ain't part of this shit.
So no thanks, dude.
I'm against you.
Here's your damn badge.
And I'm like, okay.
Yeah.
The,
you're either with us or against us.
And he's like, well, here's your badge.
I'm against you.
Like, oh, dude, what a Chad.
What an absolute.
What a damn.
I wish I had that kind of resolve.
Yeah, that's, that's awesome.
Just, just to be like, you know what, screw you guys and throw the damn pendant.
Yeah.
And then, you know, there was a, I mean, for the most part, like, a lot of the other interactions are pretty good.
What do you think about the remembrancers?
Oh, the remember
I don't know.
Even in the book before,
I wasn't like a huge fan of the remembrancers.
Like they all just kind of like felt like just like background set pieces.
Wasn't huge fans of them.
There's one of them that's just like,
oh yeah,
let's translate,
what is it,
the book of Lorgar and they accidentally summoned like a demon spawn?
That gave me like an actual laugh.
Right.
I was like,
oh yeah,
we got translated and then he spoke it out and he just like summons it like a like a chaos entity it's like oh god it's like oh my god
we're all gonna die and then like they accident like they and then the light of praying to the emperor saves them from all dying and it's just i don't know
it almost so there's like a subplot that didn't need to be there maybe so there's three there's three remembrances
there's there's ignace carcassie who is the the chubby poet um who's kind of a who's kind of a douchebag
Um, then you've got, um, oh, God, their names are so like, it's, they're so like glup shito
names, you know, uh, what is like, verruin, verruin, verruin something. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's the one
that's with, uh, horace, right? Is, is, is he's gonna, it's gonna be his personal
remembrance or, yeah. Oh, I'm thinking of Rulin Moy. That's a, that's a space brain. Right,
thank you. Euphrates Keeler and, uh, Mercedy Allerton. So, Ignace is the poet.
Alton is the is the one that Horace likes or did her.
See, they all just blend.
Right?
They all just blend.
Like, no, no, no.
I was right.
It was a V.
It was Petronella VVVar.
Which was the one that was secretly worshipping the emperor and is still writing the little
thing that's still being like passed out and everything?
Which one is that?
Euphratesy Keeler.
Okay.
That's Euphrates.
Yes.
Mercedy Alton, I think is just another one of the.
She's kind of one of the ones that isn't around very often.
Euphratesy Keeler is the one who barely survived the whisperheads.
Oh, okay.
Yes, she barely survived the whisperheads.
And then she used the light of the emperor to stop the demon and burnt the aquila into her palm with the, the, the other guy,
Simmerman, the.
Oh, cinderman.
Right.
Linderman, yes.
He hasn't, he has an iterator, I think.
He's a big knowledge guy, you know?
Yeah.
Yes, but yes, Petronella Vvar was the one who wrote the I was there the day that Horace fell.
Because he means literally when Horace was stabbed and, you know, was dying.
She got rewarded for that real nicely, didn't she?
Oh, yeah.
All of them did, didn't they?
all of them got a nice, chunky retirement package
at the end of the book.
I think only two of them did.
We don't know much about Mercedy Allerton.
She's like kind of around.
True.
Yeah, yeah.
But Euphrates Keeler is still very much alive.
Because she's the one with the,
who burned her hand.
Yeah, I just, it wasn't,
it wasn't, not a good day to be a remembrance
or at the end of the book.
No, I, okay, so I like the remembrance serves a decent amount.
I think the main reason is because I like the humans to weigh up against Astardis.
Like it's always a good dynamic.
Almost all the best 40K books or Astardis books have like a human on the side.
I think like the first heretic has like what's your name?
The blind lady.
Sireini I think is her name.
And then like, you know, Septimus and all those folks.
But I like them as like a side bit to show that kind of stuff off.
But, yeah, when Horace changed his opinions in tune of these people, it's like, oh, yes, my private
remembered, sir, I've told you too many things.
So I'm going to snap your neck in your chambers by.
Yeah, like a twig.
Just instantaneously.
I was like, oh, okay.
That's, that's right, because on his deathbed, when they thought he was going to die,
he revealed a couple of things to them.
and yeah, he wanted to take that back.
Uh,
what did you,
any thoughts on Maggard?
The,
the,
uh,
the mute,
um,
fucking bodyguard badass.
I don't know.
He seemed all right.
Aside from the whole,
you know,
thing at the end where he kills him.
Where,
where he,
uh,
puts a pistol to the bottom of Ignais carcassie's head and frames as
self-cherminated.
Yeah.
But he also,
he also had like,
an anathema soul
removing sword
repair and was fighting off like
Poxwalkers
which was really cool
he did have that one moment
where he was just hardcore fighting off
all of the the nerglings on the planet
that's true okay he was
he was a little more badass than I remember it
okay you got me
I mean he he was
pretty pretty cool with that kind of stuff
and I guess he's like part of the warrior
lodge now because it kind of contains more
people than just Astardis, but, um, which kind of goes against the point, I guess a little bit,
but, you know, so, I mean, that, that was kind of the part there. But, um, yeah, I don't know.
I liked him a little bit. The idea of him having this, like, uh, anathema repair is kind of neat.
Um, but, um, I don't know, I like the remembrance. There's a decent amount. Unfortunately, we're
down to like one for the most part. There's a, there's a bit of a, uh, culling of remembrances by
horrors at the end. I got to be honest. I, actually, I actually,
actually really liked Ignace Carcassie. He was a real shithead. Uh, but I don't know. I,
I, like, kind of liked him being this just, like, horny drunk asshole, you know?
The very relatable flawed human in, in the 40K universe. He's just always drunk. He's like a
poet. He's just totally into himself. And he's just such a dick. I mean, it wasn't like the first
couple of, uh, like chapters of the book. He was just like staring at Euphrates, like, tits.
Pretty much. He was, mm-hmm. He wanted her. But he was.
He knew that there's no way.
Yeah, it's like, it's like, Ignace, my eyes are up here.
He's like, yeah, but like this view is so much better.
And they're just like, what a dick.
Well, at least he's honest question mark.
I don't know.
I liked him a lot because he was at least interesting.
Yeah, I didn't think they were going to kill him.
Yeah, well, yeah, neither did I actually.
Well, I felt like they were going to kill him, but I didn't know when.
Yeah, or I thought they would be angry with him, but I thought that maybe Loken would
come in and save the day again.
That was a possibility, yeah.
He didn't go out well.
He was like crying and bubbling and like shit himself and everything.
It wasn't great.
Yeah, it was a lot of indignity in his end, unfortunately.
He died as he lived.
That's true.
He definitely did.
And he was the one that was writing about how the,
sons of Horace were just
a psychopath killers
right because they were bringing Horace's body back
and they were just literally
you know pushing aside civilians
with such force that they killed them
I don't think they were pushing aside
I think they were like actually just like punching them
but they were they were killing people left and right
so they could get Horace to
to a treatment quicker
and he was the one writing about like
oh someone has to pay
for this.
All these Astardis think they're so cool that they could just kill us.
And opinion was starting to wane on the sons of Horace.
Yeah, what was that?
What was that called?
The Truth is All We Have was the name of the document.
Yeah, that was a plot line that felt like I liked the initial idea of the plot line of
like, hey, all of the, the Mortarfall or whatever are bringing an injured Horace to the
Medicaid and everyone is surrounding them.
So they just, they just like beat the shit.
out of every person in their way and kill like 40 people.
Yeah,
just trample over them as a starities and it's like, ooh.
Which I'm like, on one hand, I get it.
Like don't get in the way of the injured war master.
But on the other hand, you know, there are starities.
They can just push as opposed to like slaughter.
So I didn't mind that plot line.
I thought it was kind of cool.
I guess if anything, it serves as motivation for the sons of horse to become more insular
and become a bit more like angry and okay.
to take it out on their own people, but I don't know.
It was exciting, but it kind of ended when he ended.
Yeah, well, and yeah, it brought about the whole point of like, hey, you guys, we can't just kill a poet because he writes some bad stuff about that.
We're better than that.
We're like humanity's finest.
And it's sort of, I guess it kind of helps cement the idea that Horace has really fallen because it's like, oh yeah, I'm going to go kill a poet because he wrote.
Uffees, I'm bad because we killed people.
And it's like, ooh, you really did fall, didn't you, brother?
And it's, so.
Yeah, it is, it's a bit, it's a bit rough on that stuff.
And, uh, Torgadden had that funny line where is, where someone else was like, uh, killing an enemy is not murder.
It's war.
He's like, war against a poet.
Like, are you insane?
Are you actually crazy?
It's just a poet.
Like, how far do we have to fall?
That was really, really funny, though.
I found that to be very humorous.
Just like that, that entire exchange of him like Torgaden just been like, yes.
Like get him, dude.
You got to you got to tell him to shut the fuck up.
Right.
He was great.
He was the best.
He was the best.
He was the best.
I am.
So, okay, I mean, I guess this, I've already spoiled this for you once, but like, way back when.
But earlier, I think shy told it to me, he's like, hey, I was like, oh,
man, I really am excited for Garvio Loken to live a nice long life jokingly.
And then I kind of forgot that we did talk about Garvio Loken before.
I did see a comment that was like, oh, yeah, by the way, they don't know about Garvia
Logan.
They don't know, do they, they don't know.
And yeah.
I should have known.
I totally forgot because, you know, yeah, he's, he helps find the gray nights or
was going to help find, found the, uh, you know, the gray nights.
so I was like, oh, crap, whoopsie.
He ends up living a lot.
He lives for a long time.
I mean, Torgadden, though, I get a feeling his days are numbered.
Yeah, yeah, I worry about him.
I really like him, and I don't think he's going against them.
I don't think, hmm.
Yeah, I do worry about Best Bro a little bit, so.
We'll see, though.
we don't know. Hey, we thought Loken was going to die
in any of these books and he lives for a while. So maybe
Torgaden too. Maybe, maybe. I don't know. I don't know. I mean, like,
unfortunately, we lost, we lost carcassie and some of those characters that I actually liked.
So the only people left for like, who, Torgaden? I mean, we know what happens to Abboton.
No doubt.
We know what happens to Horace.
We do.
We don't know what happens to Little Horace, but he's kind of falling off the deep end right now.
Yeah, he is.
I guess the Mornvall in general, we kind of, well, no, because the Mornvall is Loken, Torgadden.
It's big.
Huh?
It's big.
It's way, it's like 20, 30 people.
Oh, okay.
I thought the Mornvall were like his just closest advisors.
I didn't realize it was like that big.
But yeah, I guess we don't know what happens like all of the Morn Valls.
So, you know.
the, yeah, I mean, not all the more and of all we don't really know.
Like, like, Vipus, for example, would be one of them.
But, like, he's not really around a ton, you know?
Yeah.
It's true.
We know what happens to Aribus.
That's also very true.
Yeah.
Also, I'm sure you probably told me this in numerous episodes, but for some reason,
I had it in my mind that Aribus was the one that actually stabbed Horace with the
anathema.
I didn't realize that it was psycho-crazy crazy.
Nergel infected timba.
I think maybe...
Actually stabbed him.
Maybe I misspoke, but like,
Erebus stole the sword that stabbed him.
Oh, yeah.
It was completely Aribus's plan.
Arabis set the whole thing up.
This was all by Arabis' design.
But I guess I had in my head that, like,
at some point,
Aribus was going to, like, openly be like,
ha ha, Horace.
Yeah, that's kind of...
Maybe that was me misspeaking,
or just not knowing the full content.
But yeah,
Arabis obviously stole the sword.
Yeah.
So he set it up.
It's his plan.
His big scheme.
Arabis is such a shitter.
Oh, he really is.
The best villain.
The best villain is the villain you love to hate.
And Arabis,
ooh, business is a booming.
I kind of like him a lot,
though.
I'm not going to lie.
I start to really enjoy,
I just to really enjoy
Arabis lately.
And I don't know why.
I think it's just because he's so awful.
Yeah, because he's such a good villain.
You'd just love to hate him.
Yeah, he's, I don't know, I don't get it.
I think it's just, it's, he's just like, and he's talks just a hoity tooty asshole accent.
That's also just a, um, Toby Longworth being a fantastic VA.
But he, he always, he always talks like this.
Mm-hmm.
That hoity toady holier than now.
He, oh, yeah, just such a.
such a punchable person Arab
is just
God.
I really found it funny
when Karn
showed up on
and then for like
he had like three lines
and then there was just like
the thickest Russian
accent possible.
It's just like
all right
that's how we're doing Karn
I guess.
Mm-hmm.
Yep.
It's fitting.
It's a fitting Karn.
I liked it.
Shai says
shouldn't he have a German accent?
Why would Karn have a German accent?
Karn the betrayer?
I don't know.
I don't know.
I don't know.
I was thought of them
having like, what's name is spelled car?
Oh, with you.
I don't know.
I always thought like the world eaters because like the gladiatorial pits would have more
of like that kind of accent, like a gladiatorial thing.
I just didn't expect like hardcore Russian.
That's the only thing I didn't expect.
Yeah.
I mean, obviously with with caveats considering that everyone,
to be long with is a pretty goddamn good VA.
Oh, yeah.
The voice acting in the audiobook was was pretty spot on.
I don't really have any complaints.
And was that was did I understand the second half right where Horace started
um started the war with the techno what do they call the auto something techno techno
that one that one faction of the end of the book?
Yeah and it's just because Horace was like damn y'all have STCs I'm gonna pretend like y'all
tried to assassinate me and frame that as a way to start a war to get your STCs and wipe
all y'all out.
Did you think about that last episode?
Yeah, well, yeah, because
what's his name? Regulus is in
this book. Yeah.
Yeah, the guy who talked to...
Yeah, yeah.
The guy who talked to the Fabricator General
and was like, hey, you know,
here's all this cool stuff that we got.
I believe that is the SDCs that they snagged.
Because, yeah, once you said STC's,
Horace was like, oh, sick, and just shot him
instantaneously. Yeah, I
guess I didn't realize
Horace was just that far gone
that was like, oh, STC's,
Bam! Fake assassination attempt.
That's why we're going to war and wiping literally all of you out.
And then Angron just comes screaming out of the rubble to kill the last of you.
Which provided a little bit of a distraction for someone to kill one of the Astardis as well, if I'm not mistaken.
Sorry, shy.
I mean, I don't have dementia yet, but you know, it's coming.
See, we spoiled ourselves before finishing galaxy and flames.
Damn.
Yeah.
Maybe if these episodes were, I don't know, I was going for a shy dig there.
It didn't work out.
I'm going to abandon ship.
You're right, shy.
I'm sorry.
Please don't hurt me.
We don't have to abandon ship yet, but I'm pretty sure the flight of the Eisenstein is like soon.
And that will be the real abandon ship.
All right.
All right.
So, hey, the book, am I right?
What a fun book.
What a fun book.
Boy.
Oh man
What a what a fun ride Horace has been on huh?
I mean it's uh yeah
Yeah I mean
Just generally for the most part
I feel like I feel like I really liked the
I really liked a lot of the book
I feel like the second half is a bit
Meandering
And a little bit like the moment
When we were at the last hour
They were fighting the techno people
I was like oh really we're still like
We got more wars
I mean there's always more wars
but like we're back to it again.
And then the horace motivation for me was just the biggest issue I ran into.
But everything else I liked.
Yeah.
It was good.
It was good.
Yeah.
Maybe the end was maybe the second half was a little meandering.
There was a part of me that thought like they would be fighting the, um, the, the, the new faction,
like into the next book.
Because you're right.
Like it, there's like, that doesn't end until like half an hour is, like,
left in the book. Yeah. And then the last half an hour is just dedicated to killing off their
remembrancers. Yeah. And then Horace finally being like, hey guys, guess what I'm going to do?
F the emperor. I'm taking over. This is my shit. Look at your brothers. They're, they're the only
ones that are going to love you because everybody else is going to hate us. And it's like, oh,
okay. I do find it a little funny how in both books now, they've ended the book with a dramatic
saying of the next planet
they're going to.
You know, Horace.
Oh, yeah, hey guys.
Now we're going to Istvan.
And that was false gods
written by Graham McNeil
narrated by Toby Longworth.
And it's like, oh, great.
As if going to ending on like, oh, yeah,
hey guys, we're heading to Daven.
It wasn't bad enough.
It's like, oh, no, we're going to Isvan.
It's like, oh, no.
Don't go to Ist.
Oh, no.
It was really, it was really.
It was really, really funny.
I don't know.
It was a good little ending in, you know, Davin, et cetera.
But I don't know.
I don't know.
I think I liked it.
I didn't like as much as Horace rising.
But it's just, the biggest thing for me is just Horace's fall.
It's just so rushed.
Yeah.
And yeah, it is a little bit.
Like, it felt like it maybe should have been drawn out a little more.
Maybe we'll get more in, um, what is it?
uh,
fall,
uh,
galaxy and flames.
Mm-hmm.
So maybe,
probably,
maybe we'll get a bit more of it and then,
but,
um,
uh,
for the most part,
like,
the next one is the big one.
And then,
uh,
and then after that is,
yeah,
it's the fly of the Eisenstein.
I think those are the big four.
Um,
um,
fair enough.
Cause,
uh,
yeah,
because Nathaniel Garrow is,
is big in Eisenstein and then,
yeah,
is Vaughn is next.
And so they got all those usual type of things.
Oh yeah,
is Vaughn.
You love it.
Oh, yeah, and poor Garrow, man.
Yeah, Luton loves Fly the Eisenstein.
He adores that.
Oh, okay, okay, okay.
So.
Looking forward to it then.
Nice.
But yeah, overall, solid.
Yonaz goes Horace Rising.
I give it like a B plus.
What did I give Horace Rising?
What did we give it?
Do we give it like an eight, eight and a half?
I don't know. I hate, I gotta be honest, I hate scales like that.
Oh.
I've invented, I've invented a new scale for my own channel. It's the, it's the brick scale.
There's up to four bricks.
One brick is, there are almost, there are barely any positives.
Two bricks is there are more negatives than positive.
Three bricks is more positive than negatives. And four bricks is there are barely any negatives.
Okay. This for me is a three brick.
All right. Well, my rating.
is I enjoyed this book a lot and it's whatever rating is there, I put it maybe just under Horace
Rising. It's close though, but it's like just a little lower than Horace Rising. That's fair.
I'm pretty sure I would give Horace Rising a four, a four brick or like a like a nine or something,
you know, I really like that one. That one was really good. Ah, so you are all, you are fully bricked up.
I knew it. I heard it. I heard coming. Yep. It was so.
obvious. I stalled a little bit
on it. It couldn't just be one solid
delivery, but you know what? That's okay.
It happens.
This man's bricked up. So are we
just going to go right into
Galaxy
in Flames is the next one?
I mean, we're moving pretty quick on it.
I guess I'd seen a reason why not to.
I was considering getting
the, what was it called
the High Call's Oath?
I was just kind of thinking like, hey, hey, that might be
might be a good one to read,
but I might do that for like an actual episode episode.
It's a bit long,
but,
you know,
I'm still,
what do you consider a bit long?
11 hours.
Okay, yeah, yeah.
I think false gods is about the same.
What's it?
I,
I never,
I never look at exactly how long it is,
but yeah,
11,
I feel like,
is a decently long book,
sure.
Yeah,
but they say it's good for Voton lore,
so I might read it for like a
genuine, like a video, like an episode.
And then we can do an episode on that.
And when does that Silent King book come out?
I know it's not yet, but like it's in the future.
Yes.
I think it's a bit, but I definitely think that like we can end with Flight of the Eisenstein
and then hop off the Horace heresy train for a bit.
Maybe we can do the Silent King, yeah.
So that should be pretty good.
We finished this little Horacey train.
then we'll figure out something.
Yeah.
I mean, you know, overall, overall, you know, thumbs up.
So far, so good.
I'm fully gun-ho to finish off the first four books.
I would love to see what else we can snag.
Yeah.
And I can totally see why this is like the foundation of like a lot of Warhammer 40K
lore and why it's like, oh, yeah, you should at least read these books.
And I get it.
I get it now.
They're pretty.
as the kids say they're pretty poggers are they pretty poggers yeah they're pretty poggers my doggers
hoggers my doggers hell yeah well everyone um there's our quick little synopsis for false gods
torgaden is the coolest guy and uh if anything happens to him i will i will do burn this whole place down
burn this whole place down just like the red stapler don't you worry it's my stapler
