And it's called adulting, which you also might have guessed by the title, but you know, it's all fun and games over here. So I basically realized that there's this unspoken phenomena,

which I initially thought was exclusive to people in their 20s and prior to that thought was maybe exclusive to me because my job's a bit weird where you just are in a bit of limbo you're kind of not dependent on your parents anymore and you're no longer at university and you're supposed to be kind of fending for yourself out in the world with you know a job I'm 24 I thought when I was 24 that I would full-on have my shit together it has transpired that you have your shit together maybe two out of seven days a week and then the rest of the time there's a lot of fake it till you make it going on and I genuinely was like this can't just be me surely this is not just me so I put it on my Instagram stories and I said guys does anyone else feel like this like I feel like I should be adulting however I'm not entirely sure that I'm doing it right and the responses were infinite

and it wasn't just from people in their 20s it was people in their 20s 30s 40s 50s clearly life has no prejudice when it comes to chucking uncertainty our way happy to do it at any point in time so I thought it'd be really interesting to delve deeper into what it is that's making us struggle, especially probably our generation of millennials, who are also known as the Peter Pan generation. We're full on holding the reins. We do not want to grow up. And I want to know what it is that makes us feel so uncertain and what factors are contributing to shaping our understanding of the world deeper than not knowing how to wash our whites perfectly, or fix a fuse. I mean, I want to go into the social politics and cultural changes that have

happened, and really unpick what it is we're worried about, and whether or not we actually are changing the trajectory, because I feel like we might be, which is quite exciting. So I think it's going to be a fun journey hopefully we'll learn a few things I'm gunning to have some really good guests but you know I don't know if that'll happen if you subscribe to the podcast it means we'll probably have a better chance of me being able to get some really fantastic guests on and be able to pick their brains which I feel like it's going to be helpful for all of us because obviously the premise is that none of us know what's going on so I'm hoping by the end

of the series we'll feel a little bit put together and if we don't at least we'll know why and we'll kind of feel validated in our not having our shit together does that make sense? I hope so I hope you'll come back for episode one which should be out very very soon
