The fall 2021, Davenant Hall term is about to begin. Once again, Brad Little John and I will be teaching
our course on natural law and scriptural authority. In 10 weeks, in two hours each week,
we'll be exploring the relationship between the two books in which God has revealed himself,
the books of nature and of scripture. In conversation with the tradition, with figures like
Aquinas, Hemingson, Hooker, and Calvin, will be thinking.
about the relationship between these things, the way in which it can encourage us to engage
with our world and with Scripture more deeply. We'll be looking at Scripture itself in depth,
thinking about the way that Scripture itself describes its role and the way in which it reveals God and His Truth to us.
