Hello and welcome to this episode of the alignment with Jen podcast. I'm your host, Jen D'SAzy.
And today we are going to be talking about how to manifest more in the next 90 days than you have all year long.
I'm going to be sharing some of the key lessons that I have learned along my journey of studying manifestation and the subconscious mind and ancient spirituality over the last decade plus.
And these are some of the key distinctions that I have made that have really made a difference in my own.
understanding of how to manifest the things that I want my life. And so it's been a little bit since
we've done a really focused manifestation episode. So I'm super excited to do this. And right now,
as I'm recording this, it's the first week of September. It'll probably release later in
September. And so there's about 90 days before the new year. And so I really want you to use
this little episode as your guidebook to think about how to approach these next 90 days so that
way you can enter the new year on a whole new level. Something I always love to do is I love to start
the new year in September. So it sounds a little bit funny, but I feel like there's all this pressure
in January to start to implement all these new goals, to start to implement all of these new things
that you want to change in your life. But the thing that happens is when we get to the new year,
so many people fall off their New Year's resolutions. And I think that's because they try to do too much
too soon. So when you start now, you begin the new year and you're like, oh, I already have all this
positive momentum. I've already been doing such a good job. Like go me essentially. And so I'm really excited
to share these tools, these principles with you and help you understand how you can really
make this time so important and so valuable for yourself, your goals and your visions. So one of the
first principles that I want to talk about is this idea that the universe wants to give you a
so much more than you actually can see for yourself. The desire that you're trying to claim is
actually only 1% of what the universe actually wants to give you. So I want to illustrate this with a
story. So last year, I started this podcast and I began setting goals around this podcast, maybe about
six or so months into having the podcast. And I was doing about 2,000 downloads on the podcast a month.
And so I thought, okay, it'd be super, super, super cool if by August, which was last month,
I hit 10,000 downloads a month.
I thought that that was realistic growth.
I had heard people talking about how hard it is to grow podcasts, how much time it takes,
all those sorts of things.
And so I was like, okay, that would feel like a stretch goal, but it'd feel really good.
Fast forward, my podcast last week just hit over a million downloads in the last eight to 10
months, I think it was, that those million downloads came in.
And that's way more obviously than 10,000 downloads.
a month. And I think about that as a perfect illustration of this principle of the universe wants to
give you so much more than you are currently asking for. And if you expand what you are asking for,
you actually expand your ability to receive. When you are only asking for a small amount,
like you're, oh, you know, I'm okay with like this salary, even though you want a higher salary,
or you only ask for a certain level of treatment or love from your partner, but you really want
more than that, we shrink what we are able to receive when we don't actually ask for it.
And that same is true with the universe. And so I think about this and I'm like, wow, that was
crazy growth. But imagine if I had had had in my mind that even bigger growth was available.
If I had asked for more than, what if I had asked for 100,000 downloads a month? Imagine how
different that might have been. And I'm really, really grateful and happy with what it was.
but I encourage you, and this leads to my second point, to 10x your current goal.
So think about the goal that you have, whatever it might be.
Maybe it's a certain income.
Maybe it's a certain job.
Maybe it's a certain kind of relationship.
And if you were to take that and you were to 10x it, make it 10 times better than what
you are currently imagining, which can really expand your mind to see things differently,
to imagine a new possibility for yourself.
if you were to look at that 10x goal and you were to say, okay, that's my new goal and I'm going to
start showing up like that, it makes your current goal seem pretty easy, right? You might see new
solutions. You might see new pathways. So imagine if you were to dream bigger. One of the biggest
things that I see is people's fear of dreaming, which is crazy to me. Like we were raised on Disney movies.
You know, I think like Disney movies teach you to dream. Fear of dreaming because this fear that it won't work out,
the sphere of failure, keeps us playing small. And so what if you were to take that goal and make it so
much bigger? You don't have to achieve that goal. But even if you achieve a fraction of that,
you'll probably end up even further along than you ever expected. So showing up as if your goal is
10 times bigger, that's a pretty powerful place to create from. The second thing, I guess those first two
are kind of one that I want to share is this idea of risk minimalization. So,
Jeff Bezos, before he started Amazon, he worked in a really high paying Wall Street job,
and he was doing really well, but he had this dream to start selling books online.
He thought it would be a great business, but he also realized, like, I could really, really fail
at this.
The internet was not, you know, it was a new thing.
Nobody was selling books online.
Everybody told him, like, no, obviously no one's going to want to buy books online.
And obviously, we know that's not the truth.
We know that's not how the story ends.
But what he said is he said that he, the way that he made the decision, he was 40 years old at the time, he visualized himself at 80 years old.
And looking back, and if he had not made that choice and taken that risk, would he have felt good or bad about it?
And at 80 years old, the risk is so much smaller, right?
You can look back and you can see that you made it through the risks.
And the fear is also so much smaller.
When you're at 80 at the end of your life, your fear is much, much, much smaller.
And so I want you to do that exercise for yourself.
Think about your current life and some of the risks that you are interested in taking some of the challenges that you want to pursue and look at it from that 80 year old perspective.
How would you feel if you didn't go after those things sitting on your rocking chair on your porch at 80 years old?
You probably feel pretty bad.
And so looking at that is the risk that you're going to take greater than the risk of the regret.
And that's really the decision to be made.
So ask yourself, you know, am I willing to fail? Would that be better than just having never tried? And I would say most of the time, absolutely. Another principle that I think is really, really important that often gets confused for people is this idea of desire versus neediness. And there's so many videos online about like the law of detachment and like you need to detach from your outcome. But I think this often gets misconstrued. And I get this question a lot for my clients. It's like, how do I want it?
while also detaching, right?
Have you ever thought that to yourself?
Because we know that if we are overly attached to something,
we kind of suffocate it, right?
And that's a different energy.
That's the energy of neediness.
There's having the desire and really, really, really, really wanting something.
That's actually a good thing.
The thing that makes it negative is when you start to need it
and you start to feel like I'm not going to be okay if I don't have this thing.
And that's what's a really interesting thing to think about with this idea.
of detachment. You want to actually want things. Your desire is what creates your vessel to receive. So to
illustrate this, think about if you were in a relationship with someone and this person was like,
eh, like they could take you or leave you. They were like, whatever. Like you're cool. It's fine.
I don't think you would want to be with that person. You want to be with someone who's really excited and
grateful and passionate about being with you. And that is because that creates that desire as a
The same thing happens in the universe. When you want something, when you really desire it,
it's so important to go fully and really fully claim your dreams and your desires and also
recognize, and this is where the detachment comes in, I'll be completely okay if it doesn't
work out. I'll be completely okay if that video I posted online flops. I'll be completely okay
if this relationship doesn't work out. And you're able to get to that place when you trust in
the universe. You trust in the flow of life. You trust in the creator. You trust.
that everything is working out for you even when you can't see it, right? Challenges become lessons
that get to, that you get to learn from and grow from. So I want you to really think about
something that you want and are you approaching it from this place of, I really want it and I'm
so excited about it and I'm in love with it, but I also recognize I'll be okay if I don't have it.
Right, it might be a little bit sad. I might be disappointed, but I know ultimately I'll be fine
because I trust myself, I trust life, I trust the universe, or are you approaching it from this
like contractual place? Sometimes I talk to people and they just have this energy of like,
it has to happen, right? I need it. I need it. That energy is a repelling energy because what you're
focusing on is the lack of that thing. And we know with the law of attraction, when we're focusing
on the lack, we're going to get more of the lack. Okay, so that's something I really want you to reflect on for
yourself. What is it that you want and how are you approaching it energetically? Ideally, you're not
approaching it from this place of I need it or I hope it happens. You're approaching it from this place of,
I know that the best is coming here for me. I know that this dream relationship. I know that my dream
reality is inevitable. And so I can show up as if that's already happening for me. Because ultimately,
you are going to receive everything you want. It's just a matter of time, right? It might happen in this
lifetime. It might happen in another lifetime. So recognizing that everything that you desire will be
given to you. And being able to recognize that is being able to let go of that neediness. So this next one
is claiming the unedited desire. So as I mentioned before, when we don't allow ourselves to really
want something, we shrink our vessel to receive it, right? And the way to think about it is,
I'll give you an example. Like, let's say that I had a client recently and she showed me this list
of everything she wants in a partner. She's manifesting love. And she showed it to me and I was like,
this is cool. This is a really good list. And I was like, how do you feel when you read it? And she's like,
you know, I feel pretty good. I was like, okay, what does that mean? She's like, well, I think that would be a
really great relationship. And I'm like, okay, but what would it make it like an extraordinary
relationship? And she starts listing things that were not on that list. And I asked her,
was like, why weren't those things on that list? And she said, because I didn't think that that kind
of man is available. I don't think that kind of man's possible. That is the work. That is the work.
If she really wants to have that true deeply fulfilling relationship, she has to be able to allow herself
to want it. You have to allow yourself to want the things that you actually want rather than watering
down your desires, right? If you really want this certain kind of business or this certain kind of job,
stop settling for the things that you don't. And that doesn't mean you quit your job tomorrow and burn
everything down. It means actually truly claiming that vision and saying, this is truly what I want
and I'm going to go after it, right? Rather than settling and shrinking,
your desire because what she did when she did that is her first list was a smaller vessel
than her second list. And so she wasn't allowing herself even to receive that second
type of person because she didn't believe it was possible. So look at that for yourself.
Where are you shrinking and not allowing yourself to really want what you want?
And so something that I want you to think about over these next 90 days, I'm going to give you
a series of questions. And I think it'd be super valuable for you to actually go through and
write these down or you can speak them out to yourself or you can just think about them as I share
them with you. But think about these next things over the next 90 days so that way you can begin to
really show up in this different energetic frequency because there's this spiritual principle that
when you change your desire, you change what you manifest. You change what you're able to receive.
Because when you are desiring something, a shrunken desire like that example of my client's first list
versus her second list, you are creating a different vessel to receive. And one last principle I want to leave
with you before I go into these questions is, are you wanting to receive for yourself alone? Or are you
wanting to receive for the sake of being able to share and being able to give to others and create a better
world? Because when we want something just for ourselves, that's a very different energy, a very different
frequency than when we want something to better ourselves to share to become more. And so thinking about
what it is that you want, sometimes people will want something because of the ego, right,
because of their desire. I had a client a while ago and she was tell me how she only wanted to date people
who had gone to Ivy League schools. And I was like, okay, cool, why? And she's like, well, because I just feel
like people will look at me differently if I'm dating somebody from an Ivy League school. And I was like,
that's interesting and that's that first example of the desire. So we talked about how can you change
your desire so that way you can create a bigger vessel to receive? Because when we're just wanting
things for ourselves, it's like a very small cup, right? When we are wanting something for others,
we create a much larger cup and it can be for ourselves and others, but how can you expand it?
Also, when we are thinking about others, we oftentimes get out of our heads. We are more expansive,
we're more creative. Something Tony Robbins always says is we will do more for others than we will
ever do for ourselves. So I'm not saying don't focus on yourself. I'm saying how can you expand it
to include how you can impact the world, how you can impact other people, how you can make things
better for more than just yourself, right? So I don't know what your desire is, but just ask yourself
that question. So these are the things I want you to think about over the next 90 days, preferably before.
so that way you can implement them in the next 90 days. So what will I regret not doing? Oh my gosh,
I feel that in my heart when I read that because what will you regret not doing? Right. What are some
things that you want to do this morning? I found this event that is put on by a former coach that I had and it
looks fantastic. And I was like, I want to go to this. And I think to the month after in December,
would I regret having not gone? Probably. Right? Probably. So think about.
what are some things that over the next 90 days you would regret not having done or even bigger than
that right do the 80 year old self and look back at your life what would you regret not having done
the next one is what is the 10x version of your goal and i want you to actually write this out as if it is
your goal and i'm not saying it has to become your goal i know for some of you you'll be like oh my god that's so
overwhelming i'm literally just having you do this as an exercise to help you expand what you think is
possible for yourself. Because if you say, I want a million podcast downloads a month,
you're going to show up very differently than if you say I want 10,000, right? It's a very different
energy and a very different frequency. And just asking that question is going to get your
subconscious mind to think in a different way to give you different solutions. Your subconscious
is going to solve the level of the goal that you have. Right. So if you expand that goal,
first of all, it makes that goal seem smaller, but it's also going to give you different solutions
that you may not have thought of because you had set that bar a little lower.
The third one is, what do I actually want?
What do you actually want?
Right.
What's your second version of that list?
What is it that you can allow yourself to truly desire?
What is that unedited, unfiltered version of your dream life, of your dream relationship,
of your dream business?
The fourth one is, can I want it without feeling like I need it?
right? Can I want it and desire it and let myself really, really, really want this thing without
feeling like I have to have it or I won't be okay, I won't be worthy, I won't be good enough,
the world will fall apart, right? Where can you learn to trust a little more? What state am I
rehearsing every day? So this one's a little different, but it's about your emotional state.
So all of these goals, all of these visions depend on how you're showing up emotionally. So what is your
emotional state that is influencing how you're showing up. Notice, right? I'm just asking you to notice.
And what do you want that emotional state to be and choose it for the next 90 days? That is what I want to
leave you with. I hope that you have loved this. Please let me know in the comments what you thought
about the episode. If you have any questions, if there's anything in the future that you want me to
talk about more in depth, I'm happy to do that in a future episode. Please follow the podcast so that
way you're notified of any of future episodes. And I will see you next week.
Thank you.
