Starting point is 00:00:01 This is a headgum podcast. A new episode of all fantasy everything. The podcast, the fantasy drafts anything and everything from the world of popular culture. On today's episode, we are drafting movies you only watch once. Was this a patron that we toss some options? This is you off the... This is straight from the mind of Tom to card. You have like twisted mind.
Starting point is 00:00:46 No, you hit us with like 10 and you go, sorry, I'll think a little more. I'm like, that's 10. I know, but the problem is you guys have done so fucking many. I sent some This happened for real where I had it in my phone and it turns out you'd already done it TV dads
Starting point is 00:00:59 I go to listen to the newest episode it's sitcom moms and I was like I didn't listen and didn't send that Oh yeah I think you guys were gonna think I was a dumb ass Who was like
Starting point is 00:01:06 Oh I got no idea You didn't you didn't sitcom What about dad? What about dads? I look at things a little bit different Whatever you text me That's how I read it by the way What are you doing one for the fellas?
Starting point is 00:01:18 When are men gonna get their time to shine? Guys Dads deserve a date podcast. When am I, King's going to get some representation? Now that I'm a dad,
Starting point is 00:01:27 I just see things differently and know that men need their time. Is that true? Yeah, that's right. That's true. Yeah,
Starting point is 00:01:37 I live my life like that. You're a boy dad? I have a boy dad. I'm a boy dad too, man. I just want to be a world to be better for men. You know, it's so tough.
Starting point is 00:01:46 I'm trying to get it back there. I'm trying to take us back to 1983. Reagan's America. You get Arthur a perm? Arthur doesn't need a perm. He doesn't need a perm. His hair looks amazing, by the way.
Starting point is 00:02:00 We calmed it out the other day. It's insane. We haven't cut it since he was born. He looked like busy bone. He looked like busy. Yeah. She was wearing a big long black windbreaker. He's signed her Rudolph's record.
Starting point is 00:02:14 He's riding a bicycle with the tall handles. I miss my uncle Charles. He does. I miss my uncle bear. Bears all right. He's just in Portland. I'm your host Ian Carmel With me as always my friends
Starting point is 00:02:26 And comedian Sean Jordan David Bory It's weird that I'm the host I guess I do steer it But now Ten years in This is episode 340 10 years
Starting point is 00:02:37 It is weird It is weird that I'm like It's hard to host It feels like a weird It's so funny We've never done it I'm a cold star All Fantasy in
Starting point is 00:02:48 I've never hosted Oh yeah Is that right I've never hosted Should we get freaky Should we do one where we switch places? Like a volleyball rotate?
Starting point is 00:02:55 I think we have something that's worked for 10 years. Yeah, don't fuck with this. I do love 10 years. Why am I the host? Why do we draft shit anyway? What if Letterman said that? Phil, get it.
Starting point is 00:03:09 Phil would not Phil spell. What was this that dude on the keys? I couldn't remember. I was glad you were going to do it. Paul. Paul. Paul. I knew it was a for a key name.
Starting point is 00:03:17 Paul, Phil. Preg. Whom? Who? Was it Paul in the East Street? Was that his crewy? Paul was in East Street? No, that's who my thing is.
Starting point is 00:03:30 Paul Shear. Max Weinberg was in the East Street band. Max Weinberg is who I'm thinking of. Yes. Oh, I thought Paul was too. Paul Shear was. Paul Schaefer, not Paul Shear. God, you're both bald dudes named Paul.
Starting point is 00:03:42 That's true. So early, I miss my Uncle Paul. Ball. You're going to be nuts by the end of the day. I miss my uncle. Paul when he was bald. That's what that is. He went to turkey.
Starting point is 00:03:54 He went to turkey. He got it hooked up. I miss my Uncle Paul ball. No hair on his dome. Now he's back home. No, keep going. He got to die. I got to die.
Starting point is 00:04:09 I got nothing coming up. It's Yom Kippur. I am drinking coffee. I haven't eaten. It is only 10 a.m. So I wouldn't normally have eaten anyway, but. So what you can eat before? Like, if you wanted to get up at 4.
Starting point is 00:04:20 I shouldn't be here. right now. But I'm here. I shouldn't be working? Yeah, you're supposed to, like, you're supposed to sit. You're supposed to go to temple, but you're supposed to, like, sit and think about everything you've done wrong in the last year. Luckily, I do that a lot anyway. How is it to say?
Starting point is 00:04:33 It's all, it's yom Kippur once a week at my house. Yeah, that's right. Yeah. I like, I kind of re-up yom-a-microdose yeah. I'd say macro dose. I'm in there stewing. You're doing edible. You're doing edible. Yeah, edibles are my yom Kippur. It's the day of atonement.
Starting point is 00:04:51 So in that vein. I'm sorry for any ways I may have hurt you inadvertently or inadvertently in the last year. Except you're going to let you, Isaac. Fuck you, dude. Fuck you do. Also, you're going to listen to Funky Cole Medina. And I'm sorry for 2004.
Starting point is 00:05:05 We were different. It was a different time when we were boys, young and carefree. So you're, if according to entourage, you're not supposed to use any technology as well. That's true too. A.O, I'm tired of using technology. That's what that song is about. I don't think they've talked since that song draft.
Starting point is 00:05:20 I think you're 100% right about that. J.T. and 50 cents? I don't think they talked since that song came out. They did a song. Remember together? Yeah, A.O. Technology. It's bad. Ayo. Tadda using technology. It's pretty bad. Don't you get up on top of me. Is it about you're tired of sexting? I think it's something like that. I don't think 50 cents ever sexted it in his life.
Starting point is 00:05:42 No way. No. I don't think he's texted. Why would he have to? He's shot nine times. He's still breathing. I'm going to text you? Does he have Tony Ayo do? I think he calls. I think he's like an immediate call. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:57 Which is not a bad way to be. You're a voice memo. I can see him being a voice memo. These kids with their voice memos? Alec Flynn does the voice memos. I did it not 24 hours ago with one Laura Peek who was a regular on this. A regular on the All Phyllis of Everything program.
Starting point is 00:06:13 But she was driving, so she started it. And then I was like, well, I'm not going to type back like a loser. Yeah. You know? I type back. I type back. I'm not pissed.
Starting point is 00:06:25 I'm not pissed. I'm just, you're letting them win, man. You can't. Who's them? I like to talk more than I like to type. Yeah. No, my wife will send the voicemail. All of her friends do voice memos.
Starting point is 00:06:38 I'm like, at one point are we just doing a delayed phone call? Call me. Yeah. Call me at that point. Just call me. People have call anxiety, I think. Yeah. It does transcribe it now, though, which is nice.
Starting point is 00:06:48 Yeah. So you can treat it like a text message. That's what happened with Peek I tried to send a voice and I did it wrong and it did talk to text and I was like I don't like this I don't like talk to text You love it
Starting point is 00:07:02 I don't love it first of all You're always sending me shit about Jack in the Box kangaroos Because this shit's fucking up Making fun of Shane out of one side of your mouth And voice the texting out of the other Yeah Adam gets so mad about it too And I'm like I'm sorry I'm sorry
Starting point is 00:07:16 I'd do it in the airport I was sitting at Margaritaville in the Detroit airport yesterday voice texting With a Bahama mama in front of me. The Venn diagram between you and you, dark you, like you, you if your life went well and you and your life went so terrible, is like you would be doing. That's so funny.
Starting point is 00:07:35 That's so funny. You might have to, with David's permission. That could be somebody. Look that and put it into a stand-up band. That could be you. That could be you if she would have an amazing day. There is so. little difference.
Starting point is 00:07:51 You're walking a razor's edge. It's crazy. It's basically marriage and a child. And then that's the only thing that's like in the good life thing. And then, although child could have been on either one. I was telling him, but I go to Margaritaville. Because Kyle sends me a picture and he's at the Margaritaville because he had a flight a few hours earlier and he goes, don't get the chila keylets.
Starting point is 00:08:14 He goes, I'm having a hot dog to forget about him. So I got a club sandwich. And then I go, let me get one of those. goofy things like a Bahama mama and she goes is that what you want? Like, oh yeah, one of those. Yeah, you insulted them by saying that one of the goofy things. Goofy.
Starting point is 00:08:29 She's like, this is my life. This is my livelihood. I went to mixology school. Oh, she didn't. She didn't go to school. The Bahama mother. Yeah. Was the mother superior of a bond man.
Starting point is 00:08:43 Mom who stepped up. The Bahama mom. But we're going to get a Bahama Papa, right? Yes, that's what we're talking about here. Fucking girl dance, dude. Ruinning the world for the rest of us. Walter Payton. John is a Bahama Papa.
Starting point is 00:09:02 The fridge. Women's rights. I'm holding my Bahama mama. Let me get the most feminist teaky cocktail you have. I'll have the Bahama mama. They put like a little, what are those curvy swords? Big long, like, Arabian nights.
Starting point is 00:09:18 Cutlass. Yeah. That's what they would put the fruit on. It's like this long. Sean won't even listen to the big bad boobinu to daddy. Let me get that again. Take that again. Let me get that claim.
Starting point is 00:09:30 Sean won't even listen to the big bad voodoo daddy. Let's go. Yeah. I was a cherry popin daddy. You weren't even listen to the cherry popin. Jesus. I didn't realize what that meant until like a week ago. Norah. I, when I...
Starting point is 00:09:41 You mean cherry poppin? Well, I didn't, I never thought it was... I never thought that would actually be what they mean. Of course it has to be. What else could it mean that? I thought it was like, we're cherry pop. I thought they're adding a snap to it doesn't shit. Imagine you danced like that right after you did it too.
Starting point is 00:10:02 We tell you this. I was dance right when Lauren I started dating. We're dancing and where it's all loud in a bar and I just go, why do you like me? Because we'll talk about it tomorrow. But I was kind of dancing like that. That's beautiful stuff. I just, yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:20 That's great. That's so crazy. That's a good dance. Nothing wrong with that dance. Were you doing the white man's over bite? What is that? That's, uh, when you bite your lip.
Starting point is 00:10:30 When Harry Metz Alley, the white man's overbite. Maybe. I do get real finger snappy when I dance. I try it out. Or clap. I do, dude, I do all those. You said them dice top heavy, which is crazy.
Starting point is 00:10:40 Yeah. This looks like you're jerking a guy. I got it. I got, if I'm doing it, I'm from behind, Thomas. I do the neat thing. You do do the neat thing. It's like the one thing where I'm like, it's one part of this that I think the dove see when he like hops, you know what I mean? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:55 His knees wiggle. Side to side to side the dub see that part of the Crip walk. Yeah. The end of it, I can kind of do that. I don't mean this to sound as mean as it. Well, it's going to. I truly, I truly don't. When you're doing the knee thing, in your head, does it look good?
Starting point is 00:11:09 It is more fun. It's more fun than good. Come on, man. Do you think? Come on. No. No. He's all the racer's edge.
Starting point is 00:11:16 I mean it. He's in the Margaritaville. Give me it to the ball. I mean it like this. I mean it like this. I mean it like this. Mr. Jordan, welcome to Margaritaville.
Starting point is 00:11:26 Thank you for being a loyal member. Margarine. Here's your margarita. John's got the app. The Margarita is a warm down. Don't miss my points. I need some back in. It's in the eight most used apps.
Starting point is 00:11:42 Yeah, that's your screen time is so high. Because of Barterina Bill. If you use the app enough, you get a free app. Apps on it. I need it like this. Appception. I think you, I like it.
Starting point is 00:11:54 But you know, you have dance moves. You have dance moves where you're like, this is pretty funny. I don't think. Or you have dance moves where I like, I actually kind of think this looks good. I don't think anything I do on a dance floor looks like I'm dancing.
Starting point is 00:12:06 Trust me, I would, being a good dancer is one of the, if I could, three wishes, that's right at the top. Over dunking a basketball? that's got to be number one with a bullet Yes if I could be like One of these TikTok kids
Starting point is 00:12:19 I could do like the skywalk and shit Yeah over at Dunking a basketball Dunkin a basketball Really? Skywalk is the move you pick Well just all this stuff I mean I saw a thing the other day Where some kid looked like he's floating down the stairs Yeah that all that shit is cool
Starting point is 00:12:32 Can I tell you something? I think you can do that You can skywalk I don't know The thing about that Is like For a for a while There's a pretty low ceiling on how cool that can look, I think.
Starting point is 00:12:48 If... On how cool it can ever look. Any kind of big. I've seen some white guys hit some shit. Yeah, that's... Especially in the dark. Yeah, in the dark. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:59 I was going to say it. But like a white guy will never look cool... Crip walking. Yes, they will. Will they? Yes. Will they? Yes.
Starting point is 00:13:08 I will always, to me, I'm like, that's a white guy crippling. I will say that. That's the one I don't think they can do. You get a couple Bahamas in your boy That is a wild I like to drink in the airport too That's a crazy one Did you not have acid reflux?
Starting point is 00:13:22 My wife is going to be here later Let me just get two Bahama Mamas Nobody's ever had two Bahamas Are you saying two Bahamas? I want Bahama Mamas I said To give me two I want a double fist She's in the bathroom
Starting point is 00:13:38 Just bring her drink Um I forget I was going to talk a little bit more I was going to say I was going to talk a little more I wanted to speak more something about dancing it was something about dancing
Starting point is 00:13:55 no I mean as slow dance is fine they're pretty easy that's the easy day nobody's even talking about that but nobody's watching TikTok videos of people slow dancing I remember what I wanted to ask when do you think is the last year of your life where if things would have gone a slightly different direction you could have been a really
Starting point is 00:14:12 great dancer and not funny but like really great. Oh bro it's like 98 or something. Yeah I was just to say the older you get there might be a window. You think so? Because imagine like a 95 year old guy doing that move you'd be like that is cool Seawalking you could do it. Now it's cool. Yeah. Now it's cool again. You're like glad you finally got out and got to
Starting point is 00:14:32 show us. I'll be there. You want to hear something? The window is like 40 to 60 you suck. That's no good. I feel like I still have a chance for that to be the case. Really? There's a part of me. You've got to lock in, though, I think. There's a part of me where I'm like, I do want to learn how to dance for real. I've thought about taking a class before. Laura's showed me classes. I'm like, you know, like when somebody wants, let me cut you off.
Starting point is 00:14:53 You know when somebody wants to start playing guitar? When they get hold and they're like, I'm going to fucking do it. I'm going to a class. Yeah. Take a singing class. So there's a chance that I could see that happening because skateboarding is flying out of my wheelhouse. It's getting harder and harder to do. You have that seed.
Starting point is 00:15:09 It's harder and harder to do. But now it's about time for you to take that hip hop dance. I'm sorry. Back his boot camp. You guys see the Raygun documentary? No, I haven't seen it yet. I feel bad. I don't want to watch it.
Starting point is 00:15:20 Made me want to punch a hole in the wall. Does it mean to her? No. It's not as mean as it deserves as how I feel. You wanted to be a little meaner. Fuck her. I said it. What are we doing?
Starting point is 00:15:32 You know what though? God bless her for giving us such a great summer. That's true. It was so fun. It was great. What a great time that was. They tried to make you feel a little bit bad. And you do.
Starting point is 00:15:41 having been the subject of even small-scale internet ire that does suck yeah that does suck but then when you watch the whole get down of it you want like fuck this fuck this indeed yeah well fuck kind of fuck australia don't send someone open up open up open it up open it up let's go
Starting point is 00:16:02 make your water flush right bitch that's fucking one thing they quala's all fucking syphilitic you know what I mean like put some koala condoms out there Syphilitic Syphilic. That's a backback word right there. Syphilitic, analytic.
Starting point is 00:16:18 Yes. But they're like, because it's kind of like Australia didn't have a better woman break dancer. Well, that's what it made. It felt like they did. Yeah. She like.
Starting point is 00:16:32 The way it seemed like it was a high bar to entry to even compete, like she had to fly to all these things. Because the other lady was kind of like, I just think that shit's corny. But it's like you should have done the Olympics. You should have done the Olympics. Yeah. But she thought it was doing break dancing and Olympics.
Starting point is 00:16:47 It turns out it was, they're never doing it again. I also listened to a companion podcast about it. Whatever. Is there a companion podcast? Yeah. On the other side. All right,
Starting point is 00:16:56 let me know about it. Sean Jordan is here. Sean Cougar Mel and Jordan on Instagram. Stop it, Tom. We're wearing some shoes that I texted him about. Yeah, shout out to it. Nothing better than when a buddy like you're like, you're like, I think you might like this.
Starting point is 00:17:07 And then they like it. That's a great thing. Shout it to Atlas Skate Shop. San Mateo, I weren't, it is funny. Sam Mateo, California? San Mateo, California. Oh, I love San Mateo. Spanish for St. Matthew.
Starting point is 00:17:18 Yeah, I got these. Oh, Gary. Yeah, it's not just funny. It's true. I got nothing coming up. I don't think. Thank you for coming to the tenure show. It was amazing.
Starting point is 00:17:28 Yeah. Yeah. Gee. That's Spanish for you. That's good stuff. Yeah, we'll get some other stuff on the books. Nice, dude. David Boy is here.
Starting point is 00:17:38 Oh, got you. I don't. I don't have anything. Yeah. Hell yeah. Tomtikar's here, please. I'm here, man. Oh, November 21st, I'm going to be at the Skylark Lounge in Denver.
Starting point is 00:17:46 Oh, there we go. For like a one-night high plane show, me, Brittany, Carney, and Kurt Bronner. Oh, what a line off. I'm going to try to go. Oh, right? Well, just to go. Because somebody that were like this happening, be fun to go for the night. I thought it was going to be more people than three.
Starting point is 00:18:01 I did, too. I thought it was kind of kind of be, like 20 or something. Yeah. Tom does do the festival again. I think that one night, one show it's kind of. Skylark is way easier. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:12 Yeah. But that's fun for me. We could do our own little mini one. This is a zombie high planes? Yeah. Skeleton cruise. We can do a little IDK Fest. Wow.
Starting point is 00:18:21 Oh, yeah, that's right. We sure can. We'll do a little Denver thing. Compton Carter. Beautiful stuff. Thanks for having me, boys. Real quick, I want to apologize. I didn't realize how short these shorts were before.
Starting point is 00:18:30 I've run into that. And the Angs were in a camera. Gear crisis. You're having a gear crisis. What's up? Is it? Oh, no. I know.
Starting point is 00:18:38 I know. I put these. I left the house, so I was like, God damn it. Oh, my. Let's go. Oh, shit. Oh, shit. Oh, shit.
Starting point is 00:18:47 And we've got the idea. Sean joins not living is right. A little less egregious than Nike. You have a song about that. I kind of do it. I do have a rap song about that. I feel like every time I see you, I'm doing it. And part of it's like, maybe I want to punish myself.
Starting point is 00:19:02 They look, you look good. I mean, you can't go wrong with a Cortez and a black sock. Yeah, but it's the wrong ones. I've probably got a sharpie to get those stripes off of there. I was wearing short shorts on this pod once. Not looking for to any comments. They were like, up here, the comment, it was for some reason, I think, I don't know who was on, but the clip went viral. And it wasn't because of my legs, but there were some comments about how my thighs look like pancakes.
Starting point is 00:19:25 Now I'm going to be like sandbagging the whole episode, so no clips go viral. That's not a bad idea. I wear, I wear long enough sometimes. That looks like I got a boner. Yeah, what would you rather? I'm so hard talking about We were just talking about the boner pillow Talking about that with Mike
Starting point is 00:19:47 I'll wear underwear sometimes It's long enough to where it looks like I think I'm athletic Because my shorts can go up And then you can see my underwear Which is a it's a real bummer It does feel athletic though I don't know a lot It's like having a shooting sleeve feels athletic
Starting point is 00:20:00 You know what I think it is I always feel like there's like some level of clothing apparel That like real athletes have that I can't get to Yeah So when I see clothes that don't make sense to me. I'm like, that must be, that guy must be fast. St. Quarkland-like stuff. Yeah. That's how I felt when the shooting sleeves first started popping up, I was like,
Starting point is 00:20:19 oh, I can't. We should just start wearing shooting sleeves, man. Just wear them around. You know, we've seen it out-of-shape person wearing a drink sleeve. You know that's fucking nuts. It looks like they have like an elbow issue. You can pull up to your spot at the laugh factory in a shooting sleeve? And on the left wrist, one of those, the Alan Iverson wristband. Yeah, why did you? Get a little warm-up. Just go crazy. Get one of those swing packs. I did.
Starting point is 00:20:43 Used to wear those wristbands to school. Yeah, I'd wear them around my forearm. Yeah, I thought it was so cool. No, this is a generational thing. You guys are talking about two different things. Oh, really? He was talking about Livestrong. No, no, no.
Starting point is 00:20:54 I'm talking about the Alan Iverson, the sweat bands. Yeah, yeah, yeah. We were talking about the same thing. Did you ever rock the finger once? I did, yeah. Oh, no. Yes, I did. Because they had him at Dix.
Starting point is 00:21:04 I was like, I got to get them. You're from the cradle of basketball. That's true. That's true. He's from the middle of basketball. The finger sleeve is nice. I got to keep my fingers clean, man. I got to keep my shot.
Starting point is 00:21:15 No, there were fingers clean. You were just in like geometry? Yeah, yeah, dude. I would be wearing and one. You never know when you might get called up. I would be wearing an and one shirt. And I had to stop because this kid got me once where I was wearing a shirt that said, I hope you brought a lotion because you're about to get burned.
Starting point is 00:21:33 And this dude, Isaiah saw me, he goes, I hope you brought lotion because I'm trying to masturbate. And everybody laughed, and I was like, I'm never wearing the shit again. They laughed so hard you couldn't wear the shag. First of all, we do have to give Isaiah his property. It was good. That's amazing. I've thought about that for 20 years, man. I'm going to think about it.
Starting point is 00:21:52 I'm going to carry the torch for another 20. I'm going to tell it like it's my own memory. But I'm trying to match your day. And I took all my end-one stuff. I gave it away. Isaiah, I'm sorry. Isaiah, you got my ass, man. That is so bad.
Starting point is 00:22:14 That is. Yeah, and I was like a short chubby kid. I was getting murdered on the basketball court wearing this shit. It was no good. I was getting my ass handed to me. Oh, my God. I hope you brought lotion because your thighs are about to be chafing very soon. Hope you brought a lotion because you look pretty hungry.
Starting point is 00:22:37 Oh, man. You found a butt pillow You're going to be riding the bench. Isaiah, man. That's a good guy. But I was all about, yeah, we should get shooting sleeves, man. All right. Let's be a bad.
Starting point is 00:22:48 I'm not a start of a trend, man. It's not going to be. I don't even know if they'd sell me one. You got to buy it on Easter. Excuse me, sir. I think you're looking for the Buffalo Wild Wings open up in the Clackamas town center the day. Didn't get more than 24 hours before I was there. That's my spot.
Starting point is 00:23:05 You should have been of the first customer. Laura saw my face. She saw me see it And she's like, I don't know if I've ever seen you that like shot I am a huge beat I went to beat up twice this weekend Love it There's one next to the club that I was at I went there between shows and after her
Starting point is 00:23:20 They make the best They make the best old fashion In all of chain restaurants I'm telling you I haven't done the research But it's true The best old fashion had fast or whatever The product is great
Starting point is 00:23:34 I love it I wish that it was a little bit cheaper for wings, but that's just the state of the world, man. Used to be 50 cent wings on cheap days. Now it's a dollar. It's hard to get yourself into a cheap wing these days. I'm gonna know where you go for it.
Starting point is 00:23:47 You can't. And you don't want them when you find them. No, you don't. Because sometimes wing stop will still do them and you're always like, this ain't what I want. Yeah. It's all right. We'll miss on wing stop sometimes.
Starting point is 00:23:58 You want now? They'll miss sometimes. They'll miss. Yeah, yeah, they will. B-Dubs doesn't really misses. It's a wing stop. But B-dub's just, you know what you're getting. We'll be right back with more of the Cudlow report.
Starting point is 00:24:07 Oh, am I supposed to do dates This time? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Where can people see you? This comes down October. October 1st. October 1st. Oh, perfect.
Starting point is 00:24:16 Okay, well, the main thing is I have a new podcast coming out. Oh. That I love people to check out. It's where we draft stuff. We have a good. No, it's actually about black conspiracy theory. We draft black conspiracy. It's called your daddy.
Starting point is 00:24:33 Your daddy told you. My father informed me. My white father told me. My white father told me. I am doing a companion podcast and my mama told me about my father informed me. It's just shit I'm in sex. It's like sturdy legal advice. It's actually the other side of the conspiracy theory.
Starting point is 00:25:00 It's the stuff Jews are doing. Whoa. Okay. Okay. Okay. Hey. That's not what's going on anyway. I can step you.
Starting point is 00:25:16 So as you guys are talking about it anyway. I mean, Carmel, welcome back to the check-in. Oh, shit. This spot is called You Hurt My Feelings. And it's where I bring guests on to talk about times they got their feelings hurt. It's not therapy. It's like it's funny. And it can be times I hurt their feelings or vice versa.
Starting point is 00:25:38 but like, for example, we had Jeff... Have you ever talked about Isaiah on there? That's what... That was my first thought. Isaiah's going to come up for sure. That's like the thing get. We recorded these like a year ago. Forget all that we talked about.
Starting point is 00:25:49 We had Jeff Osmoson who came and talked about his JFL experience where he got this brutal review that's very funny. Yeah. We had a... What's the guy's name? Oh, shit. Kyle Gordon, who just had, I think the song of the summer in a hey there, Mr. Jombo. Yeah, that was really funny. He did that millennial song too
Starting point is 00:26:09 Oh, yes Armando, that was very fun Yeah, so funny Sean Patton We're going to do more But October 20th If you guys Subscribe to my socials
Starting point is 00:26:19 We don't have a YouTube for it yet But I'm gonna I think put out The first ones on mine I need people to listen So we can make more We have four coming out Over the course of like three weeks And then hopefully making more
Starting point is 00:26:29 But check that out You hurt my feelings And I'd love to get you boys on If we do some more I've never had my feelings hurt Is that right? Well then we'll have to do something in the meantime.
Starting point is 00:26:42 I'm just laying out a sensitive guy. The other date I got to get out is I'll be at Zanies in Rosemont, Chicago, December 3rd, and then a bunch more dates on my website. I'll be in Milwaukee in November. I'm hitting the road again. I'm getting back out there. Hell yeah. Got to get away from that kid. That is the boy dad.
Starting point is 00:27:04 First time in our friendship, someone has said Milwaukee. and you have not done the Waynesworld quote. Whoa. And it makes, I genuinely... Is it because you're mad at me? I'm growing up. I'm worried. I'm growing up.
Starting point is 00:27:18 I'm kind of growing out of that whole Wayne's world bullshit that I used to hang on. I'm different now. Sean, where's a tie to the next episode? I'll take a dance classes. Man, if you take dance classes, I'll go to your recital. I, you know, I've told you I thought I was going to do the windmill at prom. I used to think the windmill.
Starting point is 00:27:37 That's different. A doable dance. I used to think that too. I used to think like if you get me down there on the ground, I'm pretty strong. That's what I might have, I might have tried it. I honestly might have. I was one of those kids that like took the shirt off and put the tie back on at dances. I believe that.
Starting point is 00:27:52 That kind of stuff. I believe that. You're a big shirt off guy. Stand on the speakers. Throughout your life, right? All that stuff. Yeah. Exhibitionist, you might say.
Starting point is 00:28:01 It's actually, it's Algonquin for the Goodland. That's when Mr. Carmel was getting that. He likes to hang one nut out of his pants. It's Miliwa K. Melewake. I'm hanging out right now. It's painted gray, so you can't see it. I'm glad we got it.
Starting point is 00:28:15 I'm glad we got it in. I had to get it in. Great. I'm Ian Carmel. I have nothing either. No. No dates. No dates.
Starting point is 00:28:25 It's nice. Yeah. Isn't it nice? Genuinely, I haven't... I don't know if I will have done stand-up between... No, no way. Now, between now and when this comes out. I haven't done stand-up in a long, long time.
Starting point is 00:28:41 Oh, we gotta get you back in there. What's that like two weeks? Those road dates. Months. Months? I could, I can't remember. I would have to go through my Google calendar. When was the last time you did that for months?
Starting point is 00:28:52 This might be. COVID probably. This is like non-COVID, the longest I've gone. Because like in L.A. It's not great. I'll go a couple weeks sometimes. I've been turning down. I've like, people will hit me up.
Starting point is 00:29:03 I don't even, I have nothing to say right now. Well, because you're also working, too. It's not you just sitting around. I don't work. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, that's the thing. If I don't have any dates, I'm like, well, I guess I don't have a home anymore. Back to the L.A. Fitness.
Starting point is 00:29:18 I could shower there. I can shower there. We were talking about that. We were talking about suburb L.A. Fitness versus, like, city L.A. fitness. There was a suburb L.A. fitness in, like, Hillsboro, Oregon that was, like, the nicest gym I've ever been to. It's crazy. It was crazy. Yeah, and then mine is just disgusting.
Starting point is 00:29:35 And it's like, I know that every gym. What's that? I go to Planet Fitness. fitness and planet fitness are not that different. I don't think they are either. I don't think they are either. I like the colors. I don't mind it.
Starting point is 00:29:46 I don't mind a yellow purple. It's the worst part of it. Yeah, is that right? It does feel like Marty Graw in there. Yeah, that's right. It just feels trashy and you don't have to do what it is. Yeah, why not? It is trashy.
Starting point is 00:29:58 There's a guy drinking a creatine out of a whale bone. These little Bahama mama's there. Don't they eat pizza of Planet Fitness sometimes? You get a Bustle muscle? Do they really? Do they what? I thought they had pizza at Planet Fitness sometime. That can't be right.
Starting point is 00:30:11 And it's a right. It's a right. They have a bowl full of titsy rolls. I went to a gym that had pizza. I think I want to say every Friday. They would have pizza that was just for everybody. And me and my, we lived so close to the gym that some days we would just go,
Starting point is 00:30:24 pretend we were going to work out to get pizza and they just leave. Hell yeah. It was great. How did that feel? Awful. I felt so bad. Not the worse than putting on your gym shorts to go eat pizza in your car. Put it on.
Starting point is 00:30:35 You won't wear a gym shorts anyway that day. Exactly. Yeah. I changed out of my business trousers. In basketball shorts. I had to take off my untucket shirt that I wore to my meeting. Isaac, you got to show the pants, dude. The pants.
Starting point is 00:30:53 We got to see the people have to see the pants. Well, we can do it during the break, maybe. No, you're doing. Stand up. I need to stand up and get it from the camera right now. Come over here. If you're listening to this and you're not visualizing it. You are sexy.
Starting point is 00:31:05 Look at these pants, dude. I think so. You're the producer. Yeah. Yeah. Look at the pants. There it is. Got them on eBay.
Starting point is 00:31:14 Is that right? eBay. You have to close your DMs. What's that? Coddney. YSL wool blend. Wow. You so long.
Starting point is 00:31:22 Fucking fashionable, man. It pisses me right. Have you ever worn anything and one? No, actually. Okay. And one more piece of YSA. That's your end one shirt and one more piece of pizza. I feel like Isaiah got me all over.
Starting point is 00:31:38 bro. Yo, I channeled Isaiah. He texts. Got him again. Cigarette, cigarette emoji. You guys have had a 30-year-long game running back and forth. Isaiah, Tom's crying. I got him.
Starting point is 00:32:02 We are drafting movies you only watch once. movies you only need to watch once basically. Great, great topic. Yeah, I'm excited about it. Now, the way we determine the order of this draft is a rollicking game of rock paper scissors, play between the three of you and we throw on shoot. All right, here we go.
Starting point is 00:32:19 I gotta get my legs out for this. Yeah, yeah. That was more sound than people normally make. Take that thing down before we start. All right, all right, all right. Time's out. We'll get a rock paper scissors game. Rock paper scissors shoot.
Starting point is 00:32:36 Oh, David. wins a paper against two scissors. You're actually good at rock paper scissors. It's not a skill game. That's what they say. Somehow, though, it is. It is good at it. For you.
Starting point is 00:32:47 I think it's like, just like, listen, bad luck has befallen a lot of different parts of my life. I think this is just one place where I got good looking. What a bummer that this is where it is. Yeah, I think about it. I feel it. Yeah. Because Blake Griffin, you know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:33:05 His was jumping. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I just thought one. I start doing high stakes. High stakes, like off of this. 10 grand a hand. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:16 How long do you think you could find that game? Do you think that exists? Yes. I think the risks I would have to take in my life to get there would not be worth it once I sat at the table. Do you think it's offshore? Do you think it's East Asia? I think that the search would really put me through it.
Starting point is 00:33:32 Oh, I think they got into some basements in Tideown here. That's maybe true. Do you think it's like a sort of a cockfight situation? That's where you need your shooting. That's where you need the finger sleeves. And then people roll around and like yelling and smoking cigarettes.
Starting point is 00:33:46 Yeah, people are like smoking cigarettes throwing money down. I would like to go to that. Or in an arm sleeve and finger and finger bands. That's where the finger bands are okay. That's Roshana. That's true, man. But somebody fuck you up.
Starting point is 00:33:58 I see you wearing the trick finger bag. There has to be competitive rock paper sits. They call you Taccard noir in there. I'm almost certain of a video. Trican noir in the underground rock papers. Name of my album, by the way. You call you Davey Boulders, dude. He throws rocks.
Starting point is 00:34:15 But not when you think. He throws the first rock. He throws the first rock. You come in with a sequence sway jacket, Navy Boulders on the rack? Cover it back up. Sorry, I got rotted up. I'm thinking about how good of a life I'd have
Starting point is 00:34:33 if I was a professional RPS or. Isaac, see if you can't find us a high-stakes rock-paper scissors game. I run one out of my apartment. Okay, well, there you have it. Every Friday. It's good. Fridays aren't great for me. Yeah, if we could get it like maybe a Monday, 8 p.m., 8 a.m.
Starting point is 00:34:50 I'll have to check with the others, but yeah. Trying to make it work. As the winner isn't coming upon you to determine the order to today's draft before you do, that I will remind you it is a serpentine draft. And what is that? That's a great question. This is coming from Patrick Seward. Thank you for this.
Starting point is 00:35:04 Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. CW or C-Dash W? Patrick. It's so funny. It's so funny you just did it. You did it. It's so funny you just did it. We were going to dance.
Starting point is 00:35:18 We were going to dance around it. No, no, no. He's taking lessons. Isaac, we're going to see it. That's what do you learn to dance class? That's what do you learn? You get straight to sink. It's a British dance class, apparently.
Starting point is 00:35:30 Day one. It's a British... Almost no point in doing this now. But it's like a band marching through a neighborhood in New Orleans. Oh, very nice. A lot of the neighborhood. Fond of memories for us all. We do love New Orleans.
Starting point is 00:35:49 Yes, we do. Tom Swirf at that corner. Oh, yeah. Yes, I did. Whoa. I was drinking things. I don't give a shit now. Arthur's old enough.
Starting point is 00:35:59 Yeah, we gotta do it. Although we didn't. Cut to me. But later. We flew at like three. It was a great time of date. Last time there was that air barfrew. I'll tell you bar flu.
Starting point is 00:36:09 Oh, that's true. Oh, that was then. I forgot that it was all messed. You missed your flight, right? I missed my flight. Yeah. Yeah. I did New Orleans, Houston, and back-to-back weekends.
Starting point is 00:36:20 And those were two of the three worst airports in the country. I slept at the airport in Houston. Fuck. I totally forgot that that all happened. It was one of those rare times where you're like, oh, me booking the flight a day later, like a piece of shit. I'm smart now, actually. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:33 We went out that night. You, me, peaked in the chain. I was bummed out. I was there when you guys got back. I left when you guys got back. You guys were like, Isaac got in a fight. I was like, well, I guess I'm going to the airport. We got in another altercase?
Starting point is 00:36:46 You got a fight? I didn't get in a fight. No, there was a guy who like stepped on your shoes or something, right? The guy stepped on, actually these shoes that I'm wearing right now. You still see the scuff. No, I'm just kidding. A guy stepped on these shoes and I had to correct the gentleman and say, hey. I thought me and Isaac were about to fuck some guy up over these shoes.
Starting point is 00:37:04 into a crawfish frockis the year before. A crawfish frockis? Wasn't it a crawfish frockis? I got into it with a... Some sort of a seafood Donnybrook? A TSA agent was being rude to me and it felt racial. And I needed to... What was his race?
Starting point is 00:37:19 He was white. Okay, thank God. No, it felt like he was targeting me because I was not the same race as in. Okay. He was a fennig. He was a black belt. He just assumed. Now, that's not what I'm talking about.
Starting point is 00:37:31 How many fights are you in him? Why did you do him? Oh, Taco. I thought it was a taco place. These two women cut in front of us
Starting point is 00:37:39 very bleak. Oh, no. I almost had to kick the kid out of these two girls. I would never, you know, physically. I would never what? I need you to finish the sentence, man.
Starting point is 00:37:50 I would never let somebody disrespect me. I would never let someone disrespect me. Oh, yeah. I would never let someone disrespect my family line. Tom said, oh, no.
Starting point is 00:38:00 I said, because I want to be on your side with the second is these two. It's teenage girls. This is a safe harbor. Isaac will never. I'm not a violent person.
Starting point is 00:38:12 I'm not even a confrontational person. No, it was so. When that Bayou Water gets to true. I kept saying I was in gator mode all weekend. And it does change you. Also, there was a lizard in my room
Starting point is 00:38:26 the first year the whole time. That was so tight. You just come out. Jim Borges in there. Do you get them have lizards in? your room. I'm like, no. And it was just there the whole weekend. We bunked together this time around. It was nice. That was a great time. What a great
Starting point is 00:38:39 weekend. We really love New Orleans. Yeah, I do. It's my favorite city. I can't well. We're going back. I don't know the exact day. Did we know the exact day? Andrew's here tomorrow. Stay tuned to the O'allel-everyth. I forgot. I have to mention. I'll be there in January doing just one night before the festival
Starting point is 00:38:55 too. So look that up. Sports drink. The best room in the world. Man, it really is. That was so fun. What would the order of today's It's like a second line moving through New Orleans. I got to go first. Let's just do the couch. David Tom.
Starting point is 00:39:09 Ian Sean Warner. Is the order of this draft. David's going first and we're going to get to that first pick in the movies you only watch once, all fantasy, everything, draft right after this short break. What is cracking everybody? Starting point is 00:43:33 It's the best way to support the show. Back to it. And we're back. Welcome back to all fantasy everything. The only podcast that has ever existed, but only for another couple weeks. Because Tom Takars, you hurt my feelings. You hurt my feelings. It's so weird to come back after we just all felt each other's muscle.
Starting point is 00:43:51 We all felt each other's muscles. Hey, man. Some stuff is for the break. I'm sorry. That was just a weird. Some stuff is for the fucking break, bro. Sean had me grab his lats. From behind.
Starting point is 00:44:03 Yeah. He just whispered wings. He said wings. Sean's just been doing lats, dude. In a strong wind. If Sean stood on a skateboard in a strong wind, he would just blow. Being a lat guy would be cool, though. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:17 I still don't know how to use a lot of the machines. It really helped going with you guys in New Orleans because you showed me what to do. Let's go. I do it. I do it. I do you guys doing in there. What are you guys doing in there? What's your like favorite?
Starting point is 00:44:27 So right now I was like going a little too. My workouts were lasting too long. Yeah. So now I cut it down so it's like push, pull, legs, push, pull Monday through Friday. Okay. And then like Tuesday and Thursday, I'll swim instead of bike for car. Oh, nice. Love that.
Starting point is 00:44:44 Yeah, I do. But then I car get bike after everyone. Back by. Back by. Chest try? chest try and then leg so I do back by chest try leg back by chest try break
Starting point is 00:44:56 beautiful one leg day yeah yeah one leg day I'm not brother who am I trying to impress what are we doing here and my leg day it's the one on the Instagram yeah they say oh some guys leg days look like this yeah
Starting point is 00:45:07 yeah that's what mine looks like that's exactly when you start getting that targeted shit oh kiss my eyes I'm doing that whatever the deadlift is RDLs yeah yeah RDLs regular deadlift and then this one. I'm doing this one. I'm doing this one. Yeah. That one
Starting point is 00:45:24 too. I'm doing this one. Hacks squat. The one that, the one that the butt one where you like lay in your tummy and pull your feet up back like that. This is why you're not going to get back. I just go run and eat tutsy rolls. And you look great, buddy. We're all doing our best. We're trying this stuff. 30 minutes of cardio every day.
Starting point is 00:45:41 This stuff that they have me doing, it's like the workout is also cardio on top because you're just going nonstop. I sweat so much. but it'll be like burpees with like they do this thing called a devil's press where you do a burpee with a weight jump up and push the weight over your head and it fucks me
Starting point is 00:45:59 communians are so backwards this is stuff other people do like when they're 20 years I know well we finally got daycare and I was like now I have time you back to the gym I'm gonna be ripped at 45 that daycare changes everything that does it is amazing um
Starting point is 00:46:14 David you have the first pick in the movies you only watch once Oh man, okay There's a real first round talent on this. And this is a movie that You don't realize that the movie's nuts Because you see the clips from it so much Yeah Saturday Night Fever
Starting point is 00:46:27 Oh, you're right You're right, you're right You got that later, that's great When you watch that movie, you're like, oh, fuck That movie is sad It's so dark And you're like, I just wanted the dancing Yeah
Starting point is 00:46:41 And like you, it starts and you're like Okay, this is pretty cool Hey, $4! Yeah And then it just keeps going and you're like, fuck. Fuck. Dark. Why did they do that?
Starting point is 00:46:51 They didn't have to end it like that. No. It's so fucking weird. It's a bummer, man. It's a real bummer. What is it about? A guy who works at a hardware store with nothing to live for? Except for the dance.
Starting point is 00:47:00 He just lives for dancing on Saturdays? Yeah. And he's like competing. Yeah. And then they have the contest, him and the lady. And then a lot of... That could be the whole thing. It's fun.
Starting point is 00:47:09 That part's fun. It could be like a sports movie. But it's not fun. It's not fun. It's fucking not fun. They should remake it. It can remake Happy Saturday Night Fever. Yes.
Starting point is 00:47:19 And use the fake cast from the S&L movie Saturday Night and combine the tools. Oh, there we go. Saturday Night Fever. This is good. I just said the name. I don't know if I've ever seen Saturday Night Fever, honestly. That's the thing. I think I've just seen the clips and I kind of got the gist.
Starting point is 00:47:34 I thought of what it was about. Keep living that life. You'll never need to watch it again. It's one time. That is a great pick. Thank you. That is a beautiful pick. It just gets real dark at the end.
Starting point is 00:47:46 Yeah. And in the middle. Yeah. And in the middle. Yeah. Truly. And like parts of the beginning. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:47:52 It's like, it's just not. It's just so. And the music makes you think that it's going to be something. You're like, the BGs. What a great time this is going to be. Yes. The music is incredible. The music is incredible.
Starting point is 00:48:03 Skip the movie. Just listen to the soundtrack. Yeah. Yeah. I think I could be a good disco dancer. I feel like that's pretty close to have. I think in the 70s, that would have been, that would have been in play. Could have been an easy way.
Starting point is 00:48:13 Yeah. I think you could have got in that. None of that looked too tricky. I don't know, man. You just have to know what the beat is. No, you watch that movie too, though, and John Travolta is dancing. He's incredible. You're watching go, I'm out of the side of my realm.
Starting point is 00:48:25 Yeah, he's going, he's going nuts. He is. He's got moves that you don't know why people can do. Yeah, yeah, the hip control alone. And then he's like looking at the camera. I don't have any hip control. He's got a tight little, he's got a tight little, tight little. He's got a tight little, tight little.
Starting point is 00:48:40 That's a tookus. That's a to cuckus. That's a tucous. You want to know what a tootus is? He's tucked up. This punum? This is a punum, but that's a tootus. They call him Tuckie Williams.
Starting point is 00:48:50 I might be the first person in our world who ever made that joke. You are. That's right. You definitely are. Get in there. Feel his muscles up. Take a bite. Bite him.
Starting point is 00:49:05 Take a bite his arm. Give it a little nibble. Isaac, pause that handshake, isolate it, zoom in, change the color. That's a meme. Tucky Williams. It's that, what is it, Shorts? That's our Prater handshake. Who's the two of the...
Starting point is 00:49:18 It's Carl. Carl Weathers. It's Arnold. Is it Arnold? Is it Arnold? Is it Arnold? It's not? It is.
Starting point is 00:49:23 I thought it was in that movie action Jackson. Oh, Predder. They arm wrestle with nothing under them. I think it's pronounced Predator? Predator. I hate to correct you on here. In this movie, predator. Never tried Arnold before.
Starting point is 00:49:40 I bet you. Is that right? I slipped into a British guy on stage the other night I never done that in my whole life What? How? What do you see? Where are you saying the seward? He was saying the seward again?
Starting point is 00:49:55 I got this joke about how I feel like I'm rich I can offer people more than one thing to drink at the house And for some reason I go How did I don't even know how to do? I was like, Alive would you like some wau? About some ice water? That's the joke, you know? And then one of you can have a Coke from last Christmas or whatever.
Starting point is 00:50:11 but I did it British. I was like, that was stupid. I could feel that it was stupid. I apologize to all of Detroit. Oh, they didn't like it? No, they did not. There's one place they don't like an English accent. It's Detroit, Michigan.
Starting point is 00:50:22 I can't believe you pull that shit in Detroit, man. I can't believe you pull that shit. Take that shit to South Dakota. Where they really love accents. But they've never heard a British person. Talk, probably. We got banks. You know, the timing was strange.
Starting point is 00:50:43 We got a real library in Sioux Falls. Royal? Yeah. You could go read the Queens Bible or whatever the... I thought you were Sue Falls Royalty. I thought it was the door. Say that. Say that as loud as you can. I love hearing that.
Starting point is 00:50:58 I think you are. I might be. Who knows? Am I? You, uh... January Jones. January Jones? Who's the governor?
Starting point is 00:51:05 Who's the governor? January 6th. January 6 is the most famous person. from south to go. Oh, was that a heart attack? That's so funny. Now you're up in orange. Yeah, I'm in the orange theory.
Starting point is 00:51:24 It's not the only theory attached to the area. That got me orangeed up. I'm about to go orange. What's your first pick? Okay, so when I sent this, I had an idea that my wife kind of dispelled where she's like, I was thinking of good movies that you only watch once, but then it's like, it can be anything. So now I'm operating from a few different places.
Starting point is 00:51:47 My first pick could be controversial because some people disagreed in my home, by which I mean my wife. You're sorry. Sixth Sense. It's never going to twist again. Yeah. Interesting.
Starting point is 00:52:02 I think that's a good call. I've never seen it again. I think what's weird is I did watch this second time, and it's part of why the theory, because I had seen it when I was a kid and I loved it, never watched it again and then me and my wife last year we're scrolling through movies and she goes
Starting point is 00:52:16 I've never seen the six cents and I go, you've never seen the six cents and I go do you know the twist? And she goes, yeah, I know the twist. The kid sees dead people. She said the kid sees dead people. I go, you think that's the twist. We're watching it right now. You already fucked it. No, no, no. You said, but you said you think that's the twist. No, no, no. I go, oh yeah, that's the twist. Let's watch it then.
Starting point is 00:52:36 Oh, so you didn't. I didn't say it. I didn't say him that gave it away. you're like, in my head. This is all in my head. The one thing I didn't know how my skiing is going. Tom, why are you staring at me? I go, we're watching right now. There's a movie like that if you rewatch it, seeing how he acts, like how he is dead and nobody sees him again.
Starting point is 00:52:55 To invoking out that Amnich Chalemala movie to look for the signs. Yes. We're going to talk about M. Knight again. When you're in the village of watching this film. No, there are times where, because you're watching it and like, how the fuck did I not know? he was dead the whole time. Sorry to spoil if anybody hasn't seen it.
Starting point is 00:53:11 That would be crazy. But my wife was like this. Somebody crashes their car. So he's dead the whole time. And if you watch it the first time, you're like, that's crazy that I didn't notice. That's right. They didn't notice or pick up.
Starting point is 00:53:26 Like they trick you. And if you rewatch it, you see how they cheat a little bit. Do they know? They cheat a little bit. Because there's a scene where, because he interacts with his wife a lot. And you're like,
Starting point is 00:53:36 how did I not notice that she never interacts with him. And there's one scene... It's just her talking to herself is what we're supposed to think. Yeah, and it doesn't quite fucking work when you're rewatching it. I was watching it with my wife.
Starting point is 00:53:46 And there's a scene where he's coming late for dinner. It's their anniversary. And she's at this fancy restaurant. And he had been working with the kid on his whatever. And he shows up and he's like, I'm so sorry I'm late.
Starting point is 00:53:59 Whatever. And he's like explaining to her why he's late. And she just goes, happy anniversary. And slams her shit down and leaves. You're like, why would she say?
Starting point is 00:54:07 that by herself. With that tone. Happy fucking anniversary. My fucking husband's dead. Yeah. It doesn't take a walk a little bit. Grief is weird, man. They shouldn't show her.
Starting point is 00:54:19 Just to herself. Happy anniversary. It just doesn't make any sense. Somebody should have been like, oh, I'm so sorry. We're out of the plum tart. And then walk away. And then she's like, happy anniversary. Maybe that's when they show the flashback,
Starting point is 00:54:31 because they do a little flashback of nobody noticing him. At the end where he is. They just add that waiter. Yeah. So sorry, we're out of the plum tart. Happy universe. It really cracked me up because I was like, that is such a cheat. Because that you believe she's mad at him because he's late or whatever.
Starting point is 00:54:47 But yeah, I would say you don't need to watch it again. It's great with the twist. If you know the twist, it kind of fucks the whole thing. Yeah. I've never watched it again either. I wanted to push back, but I just never have. You feel like that's, I mean, I don't want to spoil any of these movies again. That's what I was going to say.
Starting point is 00:55:01 Do we watch any of them? He was in the entourage movie? As good as it gets. I don't watch any Haley Joel Osmond movies. Oh, man. By the way, that is the one takeaway from rewatching. Haley deserved everything from that movie. He was incredible.
Starting point is 00:55:17 Did he win the Oscar? He should have. No, he should have. He's incredible. It's crazy. For what? He carries that movie. For what?
Starting point is 00:55:25 I could have done that. For what? Or was he the lighting guy or some shit? What do you deserve? Best boy? Was he the key grip? Bull cut? Best boy.
Starting point is 00:55:37 Oscar. for fucking bullcut dip shits. Mispronouncing little kid words. What are little kid words? Who gives this shit? Who gives this shit? You're drunk. You're off those mamas.
Starting point is 00:55:48 Yeah, dude. You're gonna get to the crypts on that 15th. I went to LAX, bought a ticket. Went into whatever Margaritaville they got. Whatever more. Is it like Margaritaville? Do you ever go to the airport? I don't think L.A. proper does.
Starting point is 00:56:03 Burbank does. Yeah. Do they know? That's a different city. You can't get it is. And they're $40 a pop. Ormakes the most expensive place to drink at in the country. Yeah, you don't want to go.
Starting point is 00:56:15 You don't want to get drunk of bourbon. No, you do not. I've never done it. Can't do it. I went a little bit of a different direction with my picks. I'm sure we'll all dip into this pool. I'm going to take the most. You only have to watch this once.
Starting point is 00:56:29 And I'm not even sure you need to watch this once. Requiem for a dream. Oh, sure. Yeah. You should watch it. I guess it's... I watched it because it, it, it, was cool. Every was like, you gotta watch it.
Starting point is 00:56:39 It's a cool movie. Yeah, but like other eighth graders told me that. Right. That's who was in my world. Yeah. Yeah, a lot of movies like that I fully skipped because I was like, people would tell me how disturbed they were afterwards. I was like, I'm gonna not be disturbed. That's pretty sick. That was the main thing people said about that movie,
Starting point is 00:56:55 but it seems smart. Yes. Yeah. Yeah, there was a genre of like bad kids smart movie. Yeah. Yeah. You know what I mean? You know, Darren Arnarski. He lives in that world fully. I skip them all now. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:57:08 I got burned a couple times. It's just, I don't like feeling like shit after I watch a movie. I feel the same way. Yeah. I don't want to live in that. Yeah. You think there's a guy named Aaron Daronovsky? Yes.
Starting point is 00:57:19 Easier to say. And he's pissed. He's fucking. And all of his movies are really happy. He went to the same high school. Yeah, she got methadadad. I think he's a fucking hack. That's what I think.
Starting point is 00:57:33 It's just fucking brutal. Yeah. And the famous, the asses. The ass-to-ass scene is brutal. It's the very end. It's the very end. But there are other, it's like, that's not the only brutal scene. There are arguably brutaler scenes in it.
Starting point is 00:57:45 It's fucking terrible. What is Requiem for a Dream About? Drugs. I've only seen it the one time when I was, it was probably right when it came out. I can't remember anything about it really. It's like drugs and the way they ruin lives, basically. Yeah. Just like, oh, we needed a movie for that?
Starting point is 00:58:00 It's like, it's not even true. First of all. You just got to find what works. for you. You take the right dose you can have a heroin and you're going to be having a good time.
Starting point is 00:58:11 I'm doing good. I'm good. Happy anniversary. Happy anniversary. But yeah, Requeen for a dream. It was like the, I can't imagine
Starting point is 00:58:23 watching it again. I can't imagine ever suggesting to watch it to somebody. What's the mood you're supposed to be in? Yeah. Yeah, let's be bummed out tonight and get fucked up on movie.
Starting point is 00:58:35 I think that's what we did. I think we watched it. with like six boys who all thought we needed to be watching this cool movie and we all got bummed out
Starting point is 00:58:44 Ice Man, you've seen Requiem for a dream? Never seen it. Don't do it tonight. Don't do it. Nope. Top three Marlon Wayans performances.
Starting point is 00:58:51 That's probably true though. Is Marlon Wayne's in it? Yeah. Oh, okay. I don't know. I like Marlon Wayne's things. He actually directed it.
Starting point is 00:58:57 It's Wayne's brother. What's Marlon Wayne's best movie you think? Above the rim. Oh, that's possible. I was going to say I bet I'm mixing the stuff, though. If we're going to do basketball movies.
Starting point is 00:59:10 Yeah, the sixth man was really good. Above the rim is damn near the best basketball movie. As a boy, I loved Senseless. Oh, I forgot about, I loved Senseless. I loved Senseless, too. I totally forgot about Senseless. Senseless was a good time. I might go watch Senseless when we're good in air.
Starting point is 00:59:24 He was good in air. He was good in air. Yeah. Another basketball movie. Well, no, sneaker movie. G.I. Joe, he was buff. Yeah, the Rise of Cobra. He was Ripcord. All right.
Starting point is 00:59:34 You call Air Basketball movie? A shoe movie. Shoovie? It's a chubby. It's a classic shoovie. It's your air. Yeah, what's a other shoe movie? That YouTube video shoes.
Starting point is 00:59:50 It's called camera the ass. Fuck. Fuck. Fack. Sean, time for your first pick? Gummo. Yeah, that was on my way. Absolutely disgusting.
Starting point is 01:00:01 You've seen gummo? I've never seen gummo. Larry Clark or Harmony Corinna. I always mix up who did it. I think it's Harmony Corrine. Harmony Corrine. But it's the movie with the kid eating, he's getting in the bathtub.
Starting point is 01:00:11 They cut to it in kids a lot, which is interesting. Also in belly. Our belly is what I'm thinking of. Yeah, they cut to it in belly. Yeah, that is weird that they cut to it in bed. He like tricks out his sister. I mean, it's crazy that movie.
Starting point is 01:00:25 It's crazy. It's like suburbs track. And there's no point. If I remember correct, there's no real point to it. It just is a time in these kids' lives of being gnarly. And it is so disturbing, so disgusting.
Starting point is 01:00:40 Like the visceral, spaghetti in the bathtub, you couldn't get grosser to me. And I'm a bath guy. You are a bath guy. I love taking a bath. And I'm eating the bagelty guys. I've been plenty of meals in my bathtub. That is, well into high school.
Starting point is 01:00:53 The guys aren't a list. Who could say that? Like the list of guys who could say that? I was saying that to the bartender at Margaritaville yesterday. You're lucky there's not a bathtub in this airport because I'd have you bring it to me. That's what I want. I've eaten in a bathtub. You see this card?
Starting point is 01:01:10 It doesn't bend. Give me my Margaritaville bathtub. I don't think I have. I straight up, don't think I have eaten in a tub. I'm not either. I don't feel comfortable in a tub. I mean,
Starting point is 01:01:19 a lot of food in a tub, but neither here nor there. There's something. No, I don't like to be naked like that. That's both. I don't like to be naked laying down. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:01:28 I mean, unless it's like, you know, you're like to be wet naked laying down. Definitely not. Wet naked and laying down. Fully naked? Same. Same.
Starting point is 01:01:34 Weener out, flopping around. No, I got a weiner's sleep. I got a shooting sleep. A little shooting sleep. He's not one of those fingers sleeves. Tell the truth. It's a broken condom of a weiner sleeve. Where's my nightcap, Laura?
Starting point is 01:01:52 I'm trying to be off coy at the gas station. Hey, y'all got any weiner sleeves? I'm not trying to give anything away about my size, but I use the finger sleeve on there. This isn't for contraception. This is just. Performance. This is to stop me from coming too fast. I actually need a thicker one for sleep.
Starting point is 01:02:10 But I still want to bust. Oh, yeah. Gummo. Gummo is a bummer. Yeah, gummo's on my list. Gummo. I will never see gummo. No.
Starting point is 01:02:22 That's a never seeer for me. There's certain movies where kids are running wild. Yeah. Where it just makes me itchy. Yeah. Like, it's not, I'm not saying my life was gummo, but you knew some nuts kids. Yeah. And then you watch those movies and you're like,
Starting point is 01:02:35 ugh. Hummel was a heightened version of if you really just hopped in, a couple kids' lives would have been that. Oh, dude, when those two brothers got in that fight in the kitchen, I was in that kitchen a million times. Like those two guys fighting? I saw the fights. My man, John, I saw this brother kick his ass when we were kids right there
Starting point is 01:02:55 and his kid, nothing I can do about it. And exactly like that. Like they're like joking and then all of a sudden there. He went and punched a hole in his do. It was like one of the scariest things I'd ever. saw. This kid was probably 15 and we might have been 10. That is scary. Beat his brother's ass and then he punched a door
Starting point is 01:03:09 punched a hole in his bedroom door and we're like whoa. Parents were gone. Yeah. Yeah, it's like you didn't get it all out. Yeah. I remember being in houses sometimes in a kid as a kid like me personally being like God somebody's dad needs to come home. I swear to God. You're so squirre like I wish there's an adult on their way. Where is this going to go? We've already seen the guns.
Starting point is 01:03:31 Please come home. We can't order pizza. We're talking about the same thing, right? Yes, yes. I don't have a credit card. We're not allowed to use the pay-per-view. I have Ian Grown up, but I'd like a pepperoni pizza. He says Ian Grown up. Put it on the tab.
Starting point is 01:03:50 Put it on my pizza tab, please, sir. You don't have a tab. Put it on the house tab. What I fucking make me one. I have a gun! We're eating in the backtop! Don't you understand your stupid fuck? Gummo and then I'll go a little lighter.
Starting point is 01:04:05 I'm gonna go Deuce Bigelow Mail Jiglo. Oh, okay. Fool. Tom's bruce. Disagree. Mr. Sixth one time over here. I've seen Deuce Bigelow. That's where it's every time.
Starting point is 01:04:18 I cannot with that. I watched it the one time and I'm like, this is going to be one of those movies. So whatever people ask, well, what's a movie you don't like? I say that one a lot. I'm with you. I just don't like. Rob Schneider just doesn't. I don't like him now.
Starting point is 01:04:33 At the time, I was like, this guy is a genius he can't miss. You got that, the animal. The animal's another one. It's putrid that movie. Yeah. He's walking around the goreys. And I was always like, what the fuck is this? There's a quote that I think of from Deuce Bigelow all the time, which is when he's
Starting point is 01:04:49 walking to the street. That guy just goes, that's a huge bitch. I know that's the book. I've never seen the movie. That's the best part of it. It's so good. Eddie Griffin's like doing whatever the fuck. That movie's weird.
Starting point is 01:05:00 It's weird. I haven't watched any years, but. Eddie Griffin keeps calling him. he bitch. I totally forgot it. It's been a long time since I've seen it. Don't watch the sequel. I do like Eddie Griffin.
Starting point is 01:05:11 Yeah. What was the sequel? European Jew's a European. Yeah. I just like, Rob Schneider movies never seem based in anything to me. Like, they're so nuts.
Starting point is 01:05:22 And I can't ever quite understand the humor. They didn't have an Adam Sandler to anchor it. Yeah, because. It's true. The anchor is a stupid guy. Yeah. It's true.
Starting point is 01:05:31 Yeah. He, I don't mind him in like, Big Daddy and stuff is very few roles that I don't mind Robben. You need it. You need a lot of other shit around that. You need some tight. Like Big Daddy.
Starting point is 01:05:41 It's also he was playing every race for a minute. Yeah. He's Worcesters or sauce. You don't want that shit on its own. You need the breadcrumbs and the whole meatloaf. Yeah. Yeah. That's what.
Starting point is 01:05:53 I got a good turkey meatloaf recipe. Oh yeah. Yeah. I would like that. I've been thinking about meatloaf, but you don't want to go. Whatever. I make meatloaf once a week now. Really?
Starting point is 01:06:01 Once a week. It's something Arthur likes. probably making a meatloaf. And it keeps well. Yeah, high protein. Yeah, high protein. It doesn't take long to make. You ever slice it off and make a sandwich afterwards? Absolutely. I'm in there. I'll fucking... I love. I love... I'll have half a meatloaf. Yeah. Don't even count it as a meal.
Starting point is 01:06:17 Yeah. You just weigh it out. Get the protein. Yeah. You ever dip your fork in the fridge, just like open the fridge and dip the fork in and take a little bit? No. No. No, you don't know how I can always find rock bottom. You ever do you ever just all your forks are dirty? And so you just put your fork in the hand in there. Oh, that's a movie. Like a horse eating an apple? A stranger tied up in your living room.
Starting point is 01:06:41 All right. I agree with you on Duke Bigelow. I just, I can't. I can't out with it. And the rest of the list is like fairly depressing. Okay. Yeah. Dews Bigelow, though, is one of those movies that hit
Starting point is 01:06:53 junior high school hard. I'm not. Everybody saw it. I really love it. Man, I think about that. And then I think about the kids that were in junior high when like old school came out and how lucky they were. I was in high school and it changed.
Starting point is 01:07:03 everything. It changed the whole world. It changed the whole in the same age, I think. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Old school, not even joking, changed the trajectory of my life. I walked out, seriously, I saw it with Sam Talent, another person, and we walked out and I was just like, no, being funny is the most important thing. Yeah, yeah, Will Ferrell.
Starting point is 01:07:21 Will Ferrell did change my life, too. I think same deal. Like, those best of SNL things that he had, and I would watch him on SNL anyway, but like Will Ferrell in general, I was like, comedy is the greatest thing on the world. Yeah, it's the coolest thing. The frat pack, that whole crew. They don't... Now we're going to get in a while.
Starting point is 01:07:37 They're not doing anymore. Yeah, we've talked about it a million times of Vince. It's because you can't say anything anymore, man. That's why. You can't get away with that stuff anymore. What they say in the first five minutes of old school? Yeah. You couldn't say the C word.
Starting point is 01:07:48 I don't know if he was... It's like the first line of dialogue in the whole movie. I think it's the first words. It's insane. My seatbelt's broken. What do you recommend? It's insane. And then Todd Phillips went on to do the Joker.
Starting point is 01:08:02 Wow. That was crazy. I don't want to spoil it. I think that was a casting situation more than that was. And Folliardieu. Of course. Which is not a Joker movie. That's what he said.
Starting point is 01:08:13 Tom's piss. He said that. He was like, I don't know why everybody thinks the Joker is like the Batman Joker. It's like, because it's the fucking Joker. I hated the Joker. I'm not going to get into it. I also didn't love it.
Starting point is 01:08:25 Heath Ledger is the Joker. I'll tell you. Do I watch the Dark Night the other day? Cloudy Rainy Day in Detroit. It was Batman Day the other day for real. What does that mean? Be as Batman Day. What does that mean?
Starting point is 01:08:35 I made it up because they're all on. They were all on TNT. You know, you must be Batman Day. It's Batman Day, sir. He doesn't check, he just starts telling people. It's a lower Calzone. Happy Batman Day. Room service.
Starting point is 01:08:51 Come on in. It's Batman Day. Yeah, I'm drunk, Laura. You don't have any candy for me? It's Batman Day. I had a bunch of Batman Mahama Mamas or whatever. Bat Hamma Maha. I had Bat Mojitos.
Starting point is 01:09:01 Anyway, it's good, dude. Schindler's list. Listen, it had to get taken. I guess I'm the right kind of taken. I feel like we had to leave it to you. I couldn't, yeah. It is a amazing movie. That's the bummer.
Starting point is 01:09:15 But boy. Yeah. Because like that fucking Ray Fines performance in it. I know. Phenomenal. Liam Neeson's off his ass in that movie. Ben Kingsler's off his ass in that movie. But it is hard.
Starting point is 01:09:27 Yeah, it's heavy. The kid, the red dress? You know what you were doing? Wilberg? He didn't know. We're all so quiet. It wasn't an accident. Yeah, he knew.
Starting point is 01:09:36 He knew. I mean, I watch it once a week just to remember everything. Absolutely. Yeah, yeah, just stay in touch. You watch it to never forget. That's exactly right. You watch it at high rocks. Yes.
Starting point is 01:09:46 Yeah, I go to high rocks. You know what you're doing it for? You think burpees are hard? That's what keeps me going. That's what keeps me going. It's on your meta glasses. Yeah. Yeah, it's just, it's definitely worth the watch.
Starting point is 01:10:06 I remember the first time I watched it. Like, I didn't cry at all until the end. Were you young? I was a freshman year of college. Yeah. I was like, I guess I need to walk. Or maybe sophomore. It was one or the other, but I was definitely there alone.
Starting point is 01:10:19 And I was like, I need to watch this. I have never seen it. It's time to watch it. I watched it. Just like abject horror the entire time. And then right at the end, when it goes color and it goes to the real people who live through it, And I'm like, and I cried for like two hours. I was like, I'm going to become more Jewish.
Starting point is 01:10:38 It's weird. I'm going to temple more often. All that shit. Yeah, you converted. That joke fell. You guys were right to not. I didn't hear it. I didn't hear it.
Starting point is 01:10:47 I heard the last thing you said. What did you say? I said, I had the same reaction. That's good. More Jewish. It was funny. More Jewish. I liked it.
Starting point is 01:10:54 I love it. I fucking love it, man. And I want to deeply apologize to you for not laugh. in the moment. Nice space. That's totally... Me letting you down like that is something I hope to only see once.
Starting point is 01:11:08 That's fair. All right. I take it with my next picture. Tom? So kind of same vibe exactly. Spider-Man 3. Yeah. One that...
Starting point is 01:11:17 What happens in three? Benham. Big Man. Is that the got the goth one? Yeah. Garcobie where he's got that... He's got the haircut from like Pete Wentz or whatever where you're like,
Starting point is 01:11:26 come on. Yeah, he does the swoop. And that's what... So this is, again, another movie that I'm putting on this list, and I did see it twice, because it's one of the only, I only seen a couple movies at midnight in theaters, because I loved Spider-Man 2. That's the best Spider-Man. Spider-Man, one of two are amazing. So good. Amazing. So I go at midnight. I've only seen, I think, Dark Night, uh, lose the other one and the Bridges of Madison County. I miss him midnight.
Starting point is 01:11:50 Of course. I miss the Midnight movie, man. It sucks. Like, there's no line to go stand in and like, because now you just get your ticket and show up whenever. Yeah. I liked going two, three There was a fun hype to it. We were all so excited, but it's a midnight showing. So we go see Spider-Man 3, and we all leave, and we're kind of, some people are lying to themselves and say, that was pretty good. And I just remember being like, I must have been tired or something, because there's no way they missed that hard.
Starting point is 01:12:16 Yeah. And so I went back the next day and saw it again. I was like, no, this is dog shit. That whole thing where he's like Emo. And the Venom stuff is just like, when he's doing the snapping, it's like, they're like, he's evil now, so he likes jazz or something. crazy, which is offensive. Yes, yeah, I do this with triggering.
Starting point is 01:12:34 Feels like a real La La Land plot point. That's how what Jazz is about. It is like it's the whitest guy who ever made this movie where he's like, somebody who's like, somebody was evil. What are they like? Jazz. Is it Sam Ramie? Is it the Sam Ramie movie?
Starting point is 01:12:48 Yeah. And it is just such a horrific miss. And yeah, you don't need to see it even once. But I saw it once just to show myself that it was a... I've heard people try to reclaim this movie and be like, it's good actually. It's a really? fucking not. I haven't seen it in a long time. It also pissed me off because I don't know if you guys remember this.
Starting point is 01:13:05 When the, I think it was the PS3 came out, one of the packages was that they gave you Spider-Man 3 with it. And it's like, this is not what I want. So I had it. I just never, I just have that DVD, that Blu-ray. It came with a, because they had a Blu-ray with a PS3. And I was like, what a torturous thing. It's like when the iPhone came with that YouTube album. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:13:27 It was still better than Spider-Man 3. It probably printed all those. Spider-Man 3 Blu-rays thinking it was going to be like hotcakes, and they're like, well, fuck, nobody's buying it. I guess we'll give it away with the PlayStation. Spider-Man 3. Spider-Man 3. David.
Starting point is 01:13:42 This is my version of Spider-Man 3 and Schindler's list. Glory. Yeah. Oh, dude. Oh, glory. When it ended and I'm like, wait. That's a happy movie? Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:13:54 What the fuck? Yeah. Like, I thought I was going to feel better. Yeah. And then the ends, I was, I also felt like, I'm like, do you want me to feel like that was good? Triumphant. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:14:04 Suck my dick. Are you? No. Yeah. That sucks. It was, and they were trying to push it like it was a rewatchable. Yeah. No, glory, see it once.
Starting point is 01:14:16 See Denzel. Amazing. Amazing. Great. I don't ever want to see that. Get that shit the fuck out of my face. I don't like slave movies in general, but like get that shit the fuck out of my face. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:14:27 It would be interesting to go back and see what the, I mean, and you probably know. know what the conversation around it was like at the time. It's always going to be Oscar Bate. Yeah. Always. You can make a slave movie. People are going to love that shit. But that shit sucks always.
Starting point is 01:14:40 Did Glory win? Denzel won, right? I don't even think he did. Really? Didn't me? Did he not? I thought glory won. I feel like he did.
Starting point is 01:14:47 Yeah. Yeah, I got like best supporting, I want to say. That was another one of the movies my buddy CJ had. Yeah, he won for Best Supporting. Oh. Yeah, it is, it is nuts, though. Yeah, one time we'll do you. one dip will do
Starting point is 01:15:02 yeah critical response yeah 95% on rotten tomatoes I'm gonna move on because I don't even want to that alright okay oh this is another one this is like a Chamelon thing where it's like I know now yeah old boy
Starting point is 01:15:16 oh yeah you can't even I've tried to watch it again and just like once it gets going you're like now no no no no no no no no no I know this is fucked I have never seen old boy Well, you got once, so...
Starting point is 01:15:31 But is it worth watching the once? Oh, yeah. Like the six cents where it is good to see the ones, for sure. It is worth it seeing the first time. It's brutal, right? I've never seen it. It's so good, though. It's so good. But this is the best pick, because the Korean one...
Starting point is 01:15:45 Yeah, I've never seen the Spike Lee one. Okay, yeah. It goes crazy. It's... Like, fights? The way you feel... No, no, no. The way you feel when that shit happens, you don't...
Starting point is 01:15:56 I don't want to spoil it, but there's a... It's... A mystery and then the mystery is revealed and it is disturbing. Shamala Manam could never. That's what I'll say about that movie. And I remember because I heard rumblings of it in the same way that you hear from like Requiem from a dream. Yes, you did. It was the same time.
Starting point is 01:16:18 So I remember hearing rumblings of it but never quite. It's so fucked that you don't actually hear what the turn is. Yeah. I've never seen it because it's so fucked. And then you watch it and you're, it is amazing. you're, he starts out in a box, right? Come on, man.
Starting point is 01:16:35 I don't even really want to start back there. Yeah, but yeah, he starts out in a box. Ebert had your back on Glory. Really? Yeah, Siskel super didn't. Wow. But Ebert was like watching Glory, I had one recurring problem. I didn't understand why it had to be told so often for the point of view of the 54th
Starting point is 01:16:49 white commanding officer. Why do we see the black troops through his eyes instead of seeing him through theirs to put another why? Why does this top billing in this movie go to a white actor? Dog, yeah. Watching the movie, it's like, it really angers me. Watching it, I'm like, fuck this anyway. Not to take you back to that feeling.
Starting point is 01:17:05 I just want to let you know that. Well, I mean, I like it better than the old boy feeling, I guess. This is all bad feelings. Yeah, it's a bad feeling, right? It's a bad vibe. It's a classic bad vibes drag. Yeah, but yeah, old boy, just you don't need to do that again to yourself. And you can't because once you know what happens, because like I said, I've tried to watch it again and you're just, it's just like, I know.
Starting point is 01:17:24 Have you seen old boy or do you just call people that? Oh, boy. I call people that all the time. I love calling people. You might not want to do that after you watch that movie, though. Wow, what's old boy getting up to? I'll do it more. You remind me of old boy from the movies.
Starting point is 01:17:41 A friend watched it with her entire family, and I was like, did you know that what was going to happen was going to happen? And she was like, no. And we all didn't talk to each other for like an hour afterwards. Yeah, I'm watching it with my brothers, because they're like, one of my brothers is sick like me, and the other one is a little too happy. but
Starting point is 01:18:00 no it's yeah old boy's tough man it's a tough hang it's really good though it is worth watching the one to get your one in just know going in that it's gonna be fucked up and then you can pick when
Starting point is 01:18:14 that fucked up shit it's that like the gore is like it's what I have the biggest problem me too I don't even see the gore movies I don't like being reminded that there's stuff inside of his body
Starting point is 01:18:26 I had my gore movie phase when I was a Inconvenient truth, Inconvenient truth, too. Tipper's revenge. Tipper's Riffing. Futurama, his daughter wrote. Al Gore's daughter wrote on Futurama?
Starting point is 01:18:46 Yes. I didn't know this. I didn't know that either. Nepo baby. She did. She did. Okay, I don't know. That's great.
Starting point is 01:18:54 No, of course you didn't. I was doing a big comedic overreaction, but Tom didn't know as well. I also didn't know. I'm sorry. I was trying to play a cool corner. I was ashamed that I didn't know because I love Futurama. And I agree with you on Gore.
Starting point is 01:19:06 I don't like knowing their stuff inside. I like to pretend if somebody cut me, it's just all clay. Yeah. It's like it's all just deeper skin. Oh, like in the backrooms where you could just eat it. I haven't seen. Wait, what? Is that for backrooms?
Starting point is 01:19:17 Fun. I'm going to pretend I didn't hear that. I got to see it. I've been trying to see all. It's coming out on HBO Max this week. Oh, maybe I'll see it then because I loved around the same time as obsession. And I loved obsession. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:19:28 I was really into that. By the way, I want to apologize for giving us a bummer draft. No, it's great. No, it's okay. It's a boner draft. I mean the that sort of stuff, the boner draft. Talk about the boner in the room. My third pick is in line with, it's a bummer pick, which is.
Starting point is 01:19:47 You love inline stuff. Airborne, you can pick airboarding. Yes. Manchester by the scene. Oh. I watched that shit on a plane like an asshole. Me too. I've not seen it.
Starting point is 01:20:00 Don't you dare. I hear a lot of us. I would never now. You don't want to see it now. No. I see what these are about and I'm like, I'm not fucking seeing that shit. I think about the plot now and I get upset a lot. And it's tough because it's so in line with the way my life was before I had a kid where it's a I watched on a plane too.
Starting point is 01:20:20 It's a drunk movie where it's like a drunk guy fucks up. And I was on a plane after getting into a look at a guy fuck. Yeah. He fucks up And I don't, it's not even a spoiler I don't know what the plot is right? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Guy accidentally burns his house down
Starting point is 01:20:34 with his kids in it and it's so horrible it's so horrific but it's so fucking good too. Yeah, and the way they, just the way they play it is so... It is perfect. It doesn't seem crazy at all.
Starting point is 01:20:46 Like at the one point he's like, what if I just can't get past? And you couldn't. And you're like, fuck. You couldn't. He's like, you can't beat it. Yeah, yeah, that's what he says. I can't beat it.
Starting point is 01:20:56 He says, I can't beat it. He says, I can't beat it. I think about that all the time. I might start crying right now. It's so good. You couldn't beat it. And I think about that all the time because there's the famous scene where he's in the police station. He tries to kill himself, which is also funny.
Starting point is 01:21:06 Somebody pointed out, they all point their guns at him. He's already going to do it, which also it's like he could turn the gun or whatever. But it's just a funny thought. It's like, you better not chew yourself. We'll fucking kill you, man. Well, let me, let me, let me. A gentleman and I'm trying to live a cigarette for a lady. But I was hung over on a plane watching it.
Starting point is 01:21:24 And I had just gotten into a fight with my ex-girlfriend. like serious, but just arguing drunk. And I was watching it hungover and it is like, oh, two hour long hangover and not like the funny hangover with a baby. Yeah, the best hangover. What we all agree is the best hangover movie is three. But, yeah, and it's another one of those like Schindler's where it's like, I didn't cry until the very, there's a scene where like he runs into his ex-wife and she's moved on now
Starting point is 01:21:54 and she's like forgives him. and it's like, oh, oh, who fucks me up. And, like, you know, I'm a drinker, so it made me, like, how Chinler's List made you more Jewish. It became, it made me a bigger drinker. I committed to. Oh, I didn't make me more Jewish. I told myself it would, and then I never followed through on it.
Starting point is 01:22:13 I told myself, I'm going to drink more after this movie. I'm doubling down. When you watch it on the plane, did anybody comment? Like, I was sitting next to this lady. The cops are waiting at the gate when you land. She was like, this lady was just like, Yeah, I was wondering why you would watch that sad movie. Come see me tonight at hilarities.
Starting point is 01:22:32 You can leave it in the plane. Yeah, leave it on the plane. That sadness lived on that plane and those people I'll never see again, hopefully. But I was weeping. Man. Yeah, it was a great movie, though. I do recommend watching it once. Not if you have young babies.
Starting point is 01:22:48 You can't even watch Hamnet. I won't like, nope. Yeah, I skip any kid stuff now. Let me go ahead and take. Can we take a break? Let me go ahead and take a break. We'll be right back with more All Fantasy Everything. I'm going back.
Starting point is 01:23:04 Welcome back to All Fantasy Everything. With drafting movies you only need to see once. You switched. You went Russian, New York. That's what we're doing. You don't know what I'm doing. There's a lot of stuff going on. What are you talking about?
Starting point is 01:23:17 I'm not doing any accent. I'm not doing any accent. This is now I'm doing. Yes, you are. I'm not that. What is that? Okay. Oh, was that made of the difference?
Starting point is 01:23:27 Now we got a world in the world. Detroit Sean's back. What's the center are you doing there? What are you doing there? A lot of funcée. Wee. Is that on a slide? Wee.
Starting point is 01:23:43 Frankenstein takes slide. Russian Frankenstein? I'm taking a racer head, the David Lynch movie. I had that on my list too. Fuck that movie, man. That's another one with kids where it's like, you're like, this motherfucker does not want to have a baby. He does not want to have a baby. That movie, we watched that when Dana was pregnant.
Starting point is 01:24:04 We watched it together. We did too. That's great. When Dana was pregnant, when Dana was pregnant. You came over. Tom came over. It was with the Academy Museum. They were playing it, and I hated it so much.
Starting point is 01:24:13 I don't think I would have liked it if I wasn't married or didn't have a kid on the way. Like, I was just like, I get that they were doing interesting stuff, and it definitely felt like nothing else I'd ever seen before. And I believe I I haven't seen any other David Lynch movies I have to admit that now Same because that one
Starting point is 01:24:34 I was like I'm not gonna watch anything I still wanna watch Twin Peaks But yeah That turned me off so much And I left the theater And my friends liked it And I was like I feel like you're lying to me Yes I feel like that too
Starting point is 01:24:44 I don't see what you can like I would lie about these movies Because I thought I should have liked them And I didn't I was pretent I had that on my list And I wasn't gonna say it Because I was worried people would be like
Starting point is 01:24:54 You're a fucking moron Like you're a fucking it You don't get it I don't get it I'm so scared of not getting it It's like one of my biggest fears Yeah really? Oh god it sucks
Starting point is 01:25:04 I don't get a lot of stuff There's so much stuff I don't get I never would have thought that are you I see it I get it I didn't get it I didn't get it at first I hear people talk
Starting point is 01:25:17 You think I don't hear people talk I'm smart I'm smart I know what you're saying I'm stupid like they say How you guys like them apples Huh I know what you're saying
Starting point is 01:25:23 I got feelings? Come on the show. You cut me, I believe. Hey, you hurt my feelings coming October 20. I just talk about this. Don't worry about a dick last week. But erase your hand.
Starting point is 01:25:40 I'm pretentious. I do pretentious shit a lot. And this one, I was like prepared to go in and love it and like came out like, fuck, fuck that. I really, really hated it. That was pretension on another level. Yeah. It's like when you're playing pickup basketball and you're like,
Starting point is 01:25:55 I think I got it. and then you go see the real guys. Yeah, you're like, you're a pretentious at a level I can't get to. It's scary to admit you don't like David Lynch. I know. Yeah. I'm scared. I'm scared right now.
Starting point is 01:26:05 I am too. I'm terrified. I'm nervous. We have to go back into L.A. after this. Part of me is like, edit this out. I'm so scared. We're in Los Angeles. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:26:14 I'm so scared right now. Seems like a great guy. Yeah. I like him in interviews. This is the problem is I like everything he does except for his work. Yeah. Maybe we need to, maybe. You know, it's hard for me.
Starting point is 01:26:27 Something got cut. Yeah, and all that other stuff, too. That was good. Maybe you got back to when we were talking about Isaiah. That was when she was good. Sean, she was sweet back then. And your fourth picks.
Starting point is 01:26:39 I'm her pick a movie called Funny Games. Oh, yeah. Have you ever seen Funny Games? Oh, I haven't. That is. Because I know what it's about. I think there's two. I think, if I'm not mistaken,
Starting point is 01:26:48 there's an old one and the new one with like, it's Michael Pitt and Tim Roth and Naomi Watts. They're the three big names. But it's these two, two maybe 18, 20 year old kids who just go to these houses and murder the family. And they draw it out over the whole day.
Starting point is 01:27:05 They turn it into a game with like points and stuff, right? That's pretty good. Not really. I mean, they kind of, they kind of, I don't think they're doing points or anything. It's like one of the kids just teaching the other kid how to successfully, like, subdue this family. They kind of make it seem like they might let them go
Starting point is 01:27:20 at some point here and there, but they just don't, and the whole, nobody makes it. And the whole, that's the end of the movie. It's no one. I hate that. I thought it wasn't that. Because I watched it when I thought I should like this nonsense. Sure.
Starting point is 01:27:33 And I remember being like, ooh, that was kind of scary. And I honestly didn't remember everybody dying. So we're at the cottage a while a couple years ago. And Laura's like, what's a scary movie? We should watch. And I bought funny games. Wow. And we started watching it.
Starting point is 01:27:44 And we're, I don't know, 15 minutes. She goes, it's the whole movie? And I go, I think so. I think it's all this. And so we just stopped watching it. Good for you. Yeah, that's good bail. It's nuts, man.
Starting point is 01:27:56 That's a crazy movie to show your in-laws. No, it's just me and Laura. I'm just showing the love of my life. That's the only one. Because to me, I think, like, charades. You know what I mean? Games, yeah. Yeah, maybe even Monopoly.
Starting point is 01:28:08 Yeah, even Monopoly. People are going to get mad, maybe. It takes a long time, but at least it's fun in some ways. Those are funny games to me. They just got so frustrated they murdered everyone over a game of Monopoly. Quiplash. Quipash is a good one. What is Quiplash?
Starting point is 01:28:22 Heads up. That's fun. You do you play quiplash during a crime? COVID? I don't think so. How did you avoid that? Oh, it was so fun. No, I didn't barrage. Oh, you didn't? No, I wasn't, I wasn't, I didn't have a life. We were getting, no, this was like people would be like, hey, come play. I did flash on my. It was fun. Yeah. Yeah, we had some good to, yeah, over COVID, we were doing it online and it was a very fun. Yeah, that's a funny game because people are laughing. Yeah, that's a funny game. Yeah, the game where you kill
Starting point is 01:28:48 everybody in the house. To me, that's like, trying to find the humor in it. I guess it could be funny if you put like a clown nose on it or something. Yeah. I don't get it. Maybe like, maybe you say something after you're like, oh, look, they fall down the stairs to their death and you're like, oh, watch out for that first step. Yeah, walk much. Yeah, that's good. Okay, see, I see. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:29:08 They're like doing that for anything. They like jam them up on a pipe and they're like, hang in there. Put them on a meat hook. See, now I'm starting to get out. It could be funny. Is any of that stuff happening? You still on it? No, it's just, it's stuff.
Starting point is 01:29:20 Throw it on. This is, comedy is subjective. And I have to remind myself of that sometimes. lighten it up a little bit. I'm going to pick the room. Tommy Wasso's. People watch it ironically or whatever,
Starting point is 01:29:33 but it's not bad enough or good enough or whatever to even do that. It's not entertaining enough. Not at all. It's terrible. Yeah, it's just kind of sucks. It's funny to watch the one time
Starting point is 01:29:45 and if you rewatch it, you're just like, it's not, I can't hop into the cult and throw toast at the screen or whatever. You know what I can't. I can't Rocky Horror Picture show it.
Starting point is 01:29:53 They throw forks at the screen. And that's a good movie. It is. Yeah. But they, like, this, people, for some reason, did that with the room. And you're like, I went and I saw it in a theater with Tommy Wasso. Oh. Me and Tommy, dude.
Starting point is 01:30:04 Whoa. Just the two of you. You and Tommy fan. No, it was, it was. Laura took me to it. And I was like, yeah, that was great. Never, ever, ever going to see. Because a lot of people do think it's, like, bad enough that you can keep watching.
Starting point is 01:30:14 Yeah. That's the appeal. It's embarrassing. You watch it. You know, you get, I get nervous for people. I'm like, they're not kidding. They're doing it. They think they're doing a good job.
Starting point is 01:30:22 And I don't want to celebrate. how bad they're doing for real. You're an empathetic man. Thank you. You are. I appreciate it. So the room. It's not, nobody dies.
Starting point is 01:30:32 Great pick. It just sucks. Great pick. Time for me to do my fourth pick. I'm going to take the Hobbit, the desolation of smiles. Is that the first one? Yep. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:30:42 I never gave a rip. Yeah, I started it on a plane and never finished it. That's like Peter Jackson made it. Yeah. The Lord of the Rings movies were so good. Yeah. That you're like, let's give this a shot. More of it.
Starting point is 01:30:54 I know. I'm going to watch it once. Small, and I had seen the Hobbit cartoon movie back in the day, loved it. I'm like more of the same. I'm thinking like serve it up. I'm ready. You get in there. It's not.
Starting point is 01:31:07 Is it the first one? It might be the second one. Oh, what's the first one? I was so worried. The Unexpected Journey. The Hobbit, the unexpected journey. I wanted to say, full disclosure, I wanted to say the words, the desolation of Smout. Of course.
Starting point is 01:31:17 I mean the first topic movie. It's a fun thing to say. I want to say the Semarillion. That's a good one to do it. When I hear Smaug, I think of Cartman. That turned me off right away. It sounded like Cartman making fun of it. Smout.
Starting point is 01:31:30 Spam. Smank. Named. Oh, that's a good Cartman. Thank you. Never liked hearing that until now. Pretty good. That's pretty good.
Starting point is 01:31:42 Took a lot of chess sets. To be able to say it. A lot of tricep extensions for you to be able to. For the first time since seventh grade, I'm going to get. my cartman out. Tom, your fourth pick. Ooh, I'm between a few here, but I think, oh, man, I'm struggling here because I'm between two,
Starting point is 01:32:04 but I think I'm just going to say, I know, but I have one that I'm going to finish with for sure. You know what? I'm going to say, my girl. Yeah. Another kid one. I don't know if I'm going to show. You think that you'll let your kids see that?
Starting point is 01:32:18 No. Yeah. There's no purpose. They fucked me up as a kid. Me too. Me too, and it's like, why. I don't think anybody around me knew, so you don't really know. But it's like, as a kid seeing that, you're just like, fuck.
Starting point is 01:32:31 Yeah, you're like, you shouldn't have exactly. He doesn't have his glasses. Yeah, you're like, what the fuck the fuck? Why don't I need to see it? And you know this little girl is crushing it. Yeah. I'm too young to care about acting like that. I was trying, on the way here, me and my wife took here together.
Starting point is 01:32:46 And I was trying to, I was like, I might say my girl and she's like, what is that? And I was like, I don't even know how to explain it. Yeah. I only know the end now. It's a movie that starts out so awesome. Yeah. What a great coming of age film. And then they throw that in and you're like, fuck.
Starting point is 01:32:58 Yeah, I don't need to see it again. Growing up is hard. And you're like, now I'm terrified of bees. And we're supposed to be protecting bees. You're like, but they killed McCauley Colgan. Right. And I'm taking my glasses everywhere. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:33:11 I'm taking other people's glasses. Case he needs him. This is a, it was a great commercial for contact lenses or LASIC surgery. Yeah. That little girl really bodied that scene. She did. I don't think I've ever seen a kid act that well. Wasn't she then in...
Starting point is 01:33:29 My girl, too. Yep. Veda. That was her name. Veda, Solton Flus. But she was in a... It's Anna Chlompsky who was then in Veep. Oh!
Starting point is 01:33:39 Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I never put that together. Yeah. I wonder where I knew her from. I said, yeah, yeah, like I did put that together. I never knew that. But yeah. She was like an all-time...
Starting point is 01:33:48 Like, you know, you're a kid when you see it. She's an all-time kid crush. Big. Kid crush. Yeah. There was a My Girl, too? Oh, yeah, there was. There's a My Girl, too.
Starting point is 01:33:57 With a dude. Yeah. Return of McCullochel. He's back at Frankenstein. My dude. My dude. Yeah, where's my boy? Boy, dad. Did they try my boys?
Starting point is 01:34:08 You say. All different movies. Is that what My Boys was about? That's what The Boys is about. David, your fourth and fifth picks. Okay. My fourth and fifth picks. these are not bad movies.
Starting point is 01:34:26 These are movies I'm saying you only watch it once to preserve the quality. Oh, interesting. Because with repreed watch, the quality goes down a little bit. This first one is going to sound crazy because there was this summer
Starting point is 01:34:42 where every man pretended like it was his favorite movie. Okay. 300. Yes. We were doing those guys. This is advanced thing. Tonight, does he say tonight we dined in hell? Or we die in hell?
Starting point is 01:34:55 Dye and dying. I thought it was dying. My buddy really made a meal out of like, what the fuck? And you die in hell? And I was like, I don't think he said that. I think he even sets up an eating metaphor then, right? The movie is for a trailer first of a video. It is one of the all-time.
Starting point is 01:35:10 That's the first movie. The arrows will blot out the sand. Then we will fight in the shade. We will fight in the shade. He says Spartans ready your breakfast and eat Hardy. For tonight we dine in hell. My buddy. Because we were in high school.
Starting point is 01:35:21 so he was like really thought it was funny and he was bombing. That's the first movie I saw in IMAX. We drove three hours to an IMAX theater to see that fucking movie because the trailer was so cool. The trailer was so cool. This is Sparta. Everybody's buff, but like, fucking scary-ass king, whatever. Zerxes. You just see it.
Starting point is 01:35:40 Because remember even Cat Williams has a special where he's like, I like watch it 300. That's my shit. And you're like, what? Like, it was the coolest movie. It's just Kanye lyric. Yeah, but you're not. supposed to watch it again. No.
Starting point is 01:35:53 Yeah. And even once I was so over, it was overhyped. And it was living a lot. It wasn't that good of a movie. It was not that good. It was living a lot off of Gladiator. I think, I think we all saw Gladiator, loved it. I want to go back.
Starting point is 01:36:05 I want to go back, man. But mix a little Sin City in. Yes. That's what it is. It's 100%. That's what it was. I loved it. I loved it when I thought.
Starting point is 01:36:15 No, for sure. But anyway, it was fun. It was fun. You don't want to watch it again. Because they're just piling up bodies. The whole battle at Thermopyly thing. The battles are fun. Yeah, it was fun.
Starting point is 01:36:24 I feel like you could watch that every 15 years. Saw 9-Max, never saw it again. Nobody seen it again. It's not. I've tried, I've tried, I don't think I've ever done the whole thing again. Seen it says the first time I saw it. Feels like a movie you don't even need to see on a small TV. Guarantee.
Starting point is 01:36:37 Like a in the house TV. No. You know who Zerxes is. If you're familiar with Love actually. He's, uh, what's the, why am I mixing up? The, God damn it. He's a hot, like, dude who takes his shirt off and love actually. He's getting with Laura Linney
Starting point is 01:36:52 That's right He's the Laura Linney's love interest That guy plays Xerxes If you're familiar with that It's gonna hit hard If not I don't really have a team love I'm really sorry
Starting point is 01:37:00 I let you down That's all right And your final pick My final pick Another movie that was like In It was on the podium And then the more you watch it
Starting point is 01:37:11 The more you're like This is fucking stupid I should have just kept it In 8th grade Boondock Saints Oh shit Yeah man That might be
Starting point is 01:37:21 a tougher one than eraser head for some people. Yeah. Irish people. Women. For the Irish community, you've pissed off a lot of people. Dog. I remember when my friend's neighbor, this kid who was like probably like six years older than us who would come over and like punch my neighbor in the chest and like give
Starting point is 01:37:44 us some weed. Yeah. And he was like, you got to see this action movie. It's underground. You've never heard of you. Yeah. And we're like, all right, man. And he was like, all right, I'll bring it over tonight.
Starting point is 01:37:53 And we're like, okay, man. And then it was a dorm room poster. And then in eighth grade, you're like, this is the coolest shit I've ever seen. Shepherds, we will be. Yeah. And you're like, oh, my God, this is so deep. This is the smartest movie ever. And then every time you watch it, it's just diminished returns.
Starting point is 01:38:11 And then you see overnight the documentary about the director. That's crazy. Who's awesome. I should see that. You should see that. He's such a fucking idiot. And he talked with his hands a lot And he's always like, we're going to come
Starting point is 01:38:23 Around the movie This is like There was a firefight Is that Poonawkes Yeah, that is Will Defoe going nuts for no reason That was the first time we saw him And he's like we're sitting in a classical music
Starting point is 01:38:40 And you're like, what the This is how this guy solves crimes Yeah, that's awesome Not with typical hard-nosed detective work He puts in his discreet and he just starts like imagining what the crime is I kind of want to watch it
Starting point is 01:38:55 you're going to watch it tonight I think it's good I think it's good I know I think it's good you don't think it's good you don't think it's good you're going to watch it again and you're going to be like this movie fucking sucks you describe something that sounds good it's a movie written by a 15 year old guy
Starting point is 01:39:11 yeah and then but watch the documentary don't they have cool guns overnight there's something with their guns I think they have like automatic pistol Spirit to Sontes. Billy Corrigan, I think, is the... No, no, no, no, not Billy Corrigan. Their assassin father is also in it for a minute.
Starting point is 01:39:28 Norman Reed is, Sean Patrick Flannery. Billy Connolly. Yeah, yeah. He hated Willem Defoe. There's a lot of funny shit in the... Watch the documentary over and over again. Oh, yeah, David Del Marocco. It's really funny to watch a guy just completely blow it.
Starting point is 01:39:43 Like Hollywood gave it to him, and then this guy just... They were like, this is fucking... They bought the movie like, right? They bought the movie. And then he like made them buy his bar that he worked at too. Yeah. It was like the way this guy fumbled the bag is, is legendary. I love it.
Starting point is 01:40:01 Because he was just an idiot. He's a guy who wrote that movie. Troy Duffy. He made them sign his band. Troy Duffy. At one point he's having a meeting. He's like, what we are poised to do with the band and the movie is something no one's ever done. We're going to circumvent the business.
Starting point is 01:40:19 The band is called The Brood. Yeah. They look like a bunch of dudes. The Broodd Dock Saints. It's so good. Yeah. I think the album might have been called the Boondark Saints. It's awesome.
Starting point is 01:40:30 That might be the only deal that's ever been made bar, band, and movie all in one. You don't get that type of deal these days. It's like he made The Boondock Saints. The Boondock Saints, too. And then in 2020, he wrote a movie called The Guest House, which was directed by a guy named Sam Macaroni. Yeah. Which is his pen name.
Starting point is 01:40:46 also it's funny in the documentary because it has all these famous people like hanging out with him pretending he's cool like and he's like Mark Wahlberg's at the bar everybody's coming to see my shit because it's like all these famous guys who want to be in the movie of course yeah and then they bail on him because he is quite frankly an anti-semi oh really yeah that's right yeah yeah yeah but it's like against Harvey Weinstein and you're like this is complicated right it's complicated because sometimes they're right for the wrong reason the wrong reason yeah it's crazy
Starting point is 01:41:22 but the movie is not good Tom your final pick final pick I saved this one for last because I figured it would be safe and nobody was going to take it some people might not even know about this movie it's called Tupac Resurrection Yeah I don't know that one
Starting point is 01:41:36 Is that the one with the documentary That was it was a docu movie But it had a theatrical release Did you see it in the theater You didn't get to see it in theater You didn't get you too Which is already shows when you're They didn't bring it to Bloomington, Indiana.
Starting point is 01:41:49 Despite how many signatures you got. Eminem made a remix song that was pretty sick featuring Tupac and Biggie posthumously, obviously. Although some people still think Tupac's alive. My mom, just say my mom. I thought of it. I thought he was for a long time. I really did believe it.
Starting point is 01:42:07 But somebody recently got arrested for Tubac's murder. That's right. It's fresh on the mind. He had been saying he did it. Whatever. Yeah. But that. that movie was like about trying to figure out who did it and all that stuff and I
Starting point is 01:42:20 loved Tupac so much at the time and it came out on Blu-ray and I was or not Blu-R-R-D-D I was so fucking excited for I showed up at Walmart the earliest I possibly could where I knew that they had put new movies out on Tuesdays and I showed up because I thought there'd be a line I legitimately thought there would be a line of people waiting to get in to get in would you wear in line for the Tupac movie I had a Machiavellian jersey. I found it. I'm so pissed.
Starting point is 01:42:52 I don't have this anymore. Are you serious? Are you serious? Tom, I thought you were kidding. Tom is a real, Tom is a real fandom shit. That's how I knew. I know you're a fandom.
Starting point is 01:43:02 I had an arm sleeve and a two-five. I found it T.J. Max. They had a Tupac Macha-Mach jersey. And the number was the year he was born. Oh my God. believe 76 and I wore that to Walmart thinking that I'd be
Starting point is 01:43:19 surrounded by other Tupac fans You know what the crazy my people are going to be there You weren't even the only guy who wore that to Walmart that day And they weren't even They didn't even know about the movie
Starting point is 01:43:27 They just also went to TJ The T-J Max was near the Walmart Oh man You don't have it? I'm so pissed It got some My mom must have thrown it out because I was
Starting point is 01:43:36 I think it would still fit me It was so big It was such a big ass They didn't have anything Under double XL at DJ Max for No, the two Xs are for the L's. But I show up thinking
Starting point is 01:43:51 like there's gonna be all these people. I'm the only, I think I'm the only person who bought the thing in all of Bloomington, Indiana. Because I was like, I thought it was gonna be like at the front of the store like in Black Friday where they put DVD so they move stuff around. Nobody gave a shit about this movie.
Starting point is 01:44:05 I took it home, popped it in, watched it once and I was like, this kind of sucks. It was such a letdown. Yeah, I only watched it once. I liked the music in it, but yeah, it was a letdown. Didn't really shed any light on anything. No.
Starting point is 01:44:19 Yeah, I thought that's the thing. I thought that they were going to reveal who killed Tupac and they kind of was, I need to, actually, maybe I will rewatch it to see it. Maybe they were right. Maybe, yeah, yeah. The most recent documentary on Hulu about Tupac, though, it is really actually new information.
Starting point is 01:44:35 He has got a Blat interview where he admits it. Yeah. He's been admitting it. He's been admitting it. That's how he got some. Marrott. Arrested. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:44:44 Because he's been, like, he's like, he planned it. He didn't do it, but he planned the whole murder. It's ridiculous. It's very crazy. My final pick might be a little bit controversial. Taking uncut gems. Oh, shit.
Starting point is 01:44:57 I have only seen it once. It's too stressful. I saw it the one time. I loved it. I loved it, too. I don't need to live in that energy. Yeah. And I loved it.
Starting point is 01:45:09 I really love it. It's fucking great. I haven't rewatched yet, but I'm going to. straight up. It's true. I feel that way about Good Time, actually. That is the same thing. I would rather watch Uncut Jems again than Good Time again. Same. Yeah, and I think
Starting point is 01:45:23 I will. Good Time has some predatory elements to it that I didn't love, so. True. Uncut Jemps. I think it's one of my wife's top five. She talks about it all the time. She loves it all the time. She does. She loves Uncut Jams. Man, I can't think of a movie my wife would
Starting point is 01:45:40 tune out. Yeah. Maria Twins had a lot of shit I put on. I think Sandler's... Three Amigos is what Laura is screaming about. It's great. I hear you. I do hear you though.
Starting point is 01:45:51 I left that movie. I saw it in theaters and for some reason when I left, I was bleeding. Yeah. And I was like, why am I bleeding? Yeah. Your blood was freaking out. He's a smoke to coffee. It's like, do you ever have it when you're driving and you realize your jaw is clenched?
Starting point is 01:46:04 Yeah. That's how I feel watching Uncut Jens. It's the whole movie. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's on your final pick. Gravity. I had that on my list, too. That's a great pick.
Starting point is 01:46:12 I would now. I would now see that again. Sandra Bullock and George Clooney, I was done. Yeah. Because I went in IMAX and that movie spins the whole fucking time. And I was just sitting there like, this can't be the movie. It's easier to watch a home. I'll say that.
Starting point is 01:46:25 I saw it the one time. And I was like, this is too much. I was over it. And it was like one shot kind of or something like that? It's just the two of them the whole time. I don't know that it's one shot. It's, I thought it was good, but I would never see it again. I really liked it.
Starting point is 01:46:38 But yeah, I could see myself maybe watching that again at some point. Probably not. Probably not. It's not like a super rewatchable movie. That's what I'm saying. Yeah, it doesn't go into my rewatchable area. The song, Gravity by John Mayer, that's a daily. That's a relishable.
Starting point is 01:46:51 And I have Interstellar to fill my Gravity Void. I'll watch Interstellar every day. I love that you have a Gravity Void. That's why you can dunk. Gravity Void, Gravity Bong. Ice, do you have a pick? I'm going to take a movie I really enjoyed in theaters, but I'll never watch again. Past Lives.
Starting point is 01:47:08 Okay. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I saw that in theaters, really enjoyed it, too, and haven't watched it. I cried like a baby. It's really good. Very impactful. Obviously speaks directly to me as a great American to America. The pants guy. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah, a lot of pants. A lot of great pants.
Starting point is 01:47:24 A lot of pants in that movie. Also, perfect days. Yeah. But I don't need to, I don't need to be in that emotion ever again. Good movie. That's really sad. Good film. I didn't see that. It's a lot on the table. Oh, God, yeah. To recap, before we get into that, David, you went first, you took Saturday fever, glory, old boy, 300, and boondock. Saints. I've seen a few of those movies a lot. And by that, I mean, two of them. Tom? You went second. You took six cents. Spider-Man 3, Manchester, by the C, my girl,
Starting point is 01:47:52 and Tupac Resurrection. I went third. I took Reckley and True Dream. Shindler's list. The Hobbit, Uncut Gems. I take it back. That's a worse after. You might not be able to fit the Shindler. This is a long list. Sean, you took Gummo, Deuce Bigelow, Mail, Jigolo, Funny Games, The Room, and Gravitt. That's the worst. I mean, I don't go together at all. To start out with gummo, it's so hard.
Starting point is 01:48:17 Deliverance was one that I had. Oh, kids. I like kids. Million dollar baby. Yeah. Kids is also a bummer, though. Yeah, it's a bummer. I think Titanic was one that I was struggling.
Starting point is 01:48:28 Yay! Do you think so I was going to take it? No, it's just the master. When I come back. What Dreams May Come. That's a good one. Oh, what dreams may come. Roman J.S. Frailersquire.
Starting point is 01:48:38 Super Troopers, too. Okay. I know. Unfortunately. Gone with the wind. Oh, yeah. Oh, World Trade Center. Oh, God.
Starting point is 01:48:46 Oh, God. That was horrible. I know. It was so bad. I went to see it because in the trailer, they used the Coldplay song Fix You. Yeah. And I was like, this is going to hit so hard in that movie.
Starting point is 01:48:58 And then they don't play it in the movie, which why would they? But I was pissed at the theater. And I go, none of this. I yell in the theater. None of this even happened. First of all. We want to hear yours hit us have at all fantasy
