Every homicide investigation is a puzzle, a mystery waiting to be unraveled. Who did this and why? For investigators, sometimes the answer to why can be found in the where. Where the crime took place. Alaska's the last frontier that attracts some of the finest people and unfortunately some of the worst. From dark alleys of bustling cities to the vast plains of the American heartland, danger lurks around every corner and every shadow of our society. One of the things about New Mexico is it's so vast and beautiful. It's so open. But that also means it's a haven for taking someone out to the desert or dropping them in a lake and no one would ever see you.
