Starting point is 00:00:00 Keep in mind that Donald Glovers, This Is America, was originally a Drake disc record. So it's so ironic that he's making a whole movie around the American dream with 21 Savage. Somebody who's been influential and very impactful, some will say a MVP candidate in keeping Drake's career at the level where. it is currently. Because if you don't know, some of Drake's biggest records, I mean, Jimmy Cook's is still doing numbers to this day, and that came out like two to three years ago,
Starting point is 00:00:40 leading up to the whole Drake and 21 Savage collaborative album, her loss, which first week sales-wise shouldn't have performed as well as it did when it comes to two artists putting out a collaborative album. So with that being said, I think it was one of the most popular collaborative albums of all time in hip-hop with, Drake and 21 Savage.
Starting point is 00:01:01 So 21 Savage definitely brings his own core-like fan base. And for Drake to have this type of beef with Donald Glover, obviously I'm saying beef in quotation marks, even though you can't see my hands, because he technically only responded with the banner while he was performing under his stage saying that Childers Gambino's This Is America was, quote, overrated and over-awarded.
Starting point is 00:01:27 So that was just a little synopsis. of Donald Glover and Drake's beef. Why am I saying that? It's because the collaborative effort between 21 Savage and Donald Glover is very interesting to come after a whole entire body of work from Drake and 21 Savage. Am I saying it's only happening because of that?
Starting point is 00:01:49 Of course not. Let me tell you something. If this comes out the way I think it's going to, it's going to be a classic. Now, if you're looking, if you're watching this segment, and well if you're not go over to analytic dreams video on spotify to see the video along with the audio
Starting point is 00:02:05 but basically I'm gonna play you a little snippet of what you can expect of course with the sound off because you know I don't want to get copyrighted uh yeah I don't want to get copyrighted but anyways um as you can tell this is going to be a big deal
Starting point is 00:02:20 because you can't tell me a better premise to a movie than covering when 21 Savage was exposed to the world for being from the UK. Now, as an American, I have no idea why the U.S. immigration officials chose to go after 21 Savage like this. Like, they really made him an example for no reason. You would have thought this man killed somebody the way that ICE was putting him on front street as being an immigrant illegally in America. That was really trying to make
Starting point is 00:02:55 an example at 21 Savage who really goes out of his way. to not basically goes out of his way to mind his own business basically. Except for that one incident on Clubhouse where he says his people, quote, really be spanking expeditive. Which I can't say that works as PG podcast. But I bet the FBI had a field day with that sound bite from Clubhouse. Anyways, but that's besides the point. 21 Savage, aka Shia Ben Abraham Joseph, I mean straight out of a bit. straight out of a Bible type name, right?
Starting point is 00:03:33 Abraham is actually from the UK. So with that being said, he was born in London, moved to Atlanta, Georgia when he was seven years old, but guess what? He was arrested and was made an example by U.S. immigration officials, basically, who say they say the reason why they did that is because he was in the country illegally. Now, Abraham, this man came from the UK to America and never told us he was born in the UK. Do y'all know when the world found out that 21 Savage was from the UK, you would have thought we just found our first alien, no pun intended, on planet Earth. People was acting like this was the biggest scooby-doo mystery that we ever solved in life.
Starting point is 00:04:28 I don't know why it was such a big deal. hey i'll let you be the judge on why that was such a big deal so anyways donald glover is taking that whole scenario titling it the american dream and basically is going to portray 21 savage now why is he portraying 21 savage when there's a plethora of other artists that probably nailed the role even better um i don't know it's set to be released january 12th as a um film of course and um yeah the soundtrack is inspired by the film and one of the tracks is from 21 Savage. Actually,
Starting point is 00:05:02 the track that's playing on this video right now that I'm not playing, of course, for copyright reasons. But basically, the cast is Donald Glover, directed by Donald Glover, basically he's pulling a rush. He's directing it, acting in it,
Starting point is 00:05:17 he's doing everything. So the chronicles of 21 Savage's life, career, and immigration struggles, and including his ICE detention and controversial arrest, this sounds like a classic in the making. You would have thought
Starting point is 00:05:33 I don't know if he still makes movies and I'm not trying to be disrespectful, but you would have thought Spike Lee would have came up with this idea because this is a great premise to make a whole story that's going to captivate a certain audience because I am a part of that certain audience and I'm going to be glued to my seat
Starting point is 00:05:48 when this film actually releases in January 12th. So anyways, the trailer features an unreleased track by 21 Savage, the trailer I'm currently playing right now. Obviously, you see the American dream let me see pull that back up uh see the american dream the 21 savage story right there uh i don't know if there's going to be a series because i like how they have um the colon after american dream it's not a colon what is it semi colon i forget what it's called i swear i'm in college but hey i don't
Starting point is 00:06:17 know what that's called i forgot so anyways the reason why i'm pointing that out is because i wonder if he's going to do more american dream type scenarios for films going forward if this one succeeds i I think he will. So with that being said, um, music inspired by the film is set to be released the same day. The film comes out January 12th. Let me see.
Starting point is 00:06:41 No, no, no. Okay, the music is dropping January 12th. I don't know when the American Dream film is dropping. I'm not sure on that. But the music inspired by the film is definitely set to be released January 12th. Basically, January 12th is going to be a big day for music. And, uh, Ariana Grande is dropping. the weekend no he's not dropping uh 21 savage is dropping oh little nods ex that's the one
Starting point is 00:07:05 little nods because for some reason ariana fans are like perturbed like like perturbed that uh little nods x is dropping like straight up irate like they're like why we got to battle with all these artists when our artists is dropping the whole album this don't make no sense like i don't know why they're so upset but anyways um what else i can tell you the background of 21 savage but I'm not going to say y'all don't care but y'all definitely have to watch the film because I don't want to spoil it in case y'all want to go into the film blind
Starting point is 00:07:36 not knowing what's going to happen because I kind of follow a lot of 21 Savage's career so I kind of know what's going to happen they just got to have the famous scene in Clubhouse where he says is people be spanking you know what it's like as a grown man to get a spanking
Starting point is 00:07:52 21 Savage was really talking that talk I don't know why but hey he was acting like the FBI wasn't listening to every word he was saying on that clubhouse live but hey if they have that in this film it's going to be a classic if they don't i'm at to reconsider my rankings so anyways uh click my link sure in my bio let me know one of my social medias what do you think about this inspired music soundtrack for this film titled american dream for 21 savage coming out january 12th and what are you most looking forward to also if you are avid or 21 savage fan what do you
Starting point is 00:08:28 mostly want to see in this film.
