Black has released his post-therapy journey after depression and bad relationships called Since I Have a Lover. Now, I don't know if he's on this K-dot tip. I don't know what type of label he's on. That's not what I'm here to speak about. I just want to talk about how I think, in my humble opinion, that Black is past as prime. Now, I know after saying all those triggering words and him getting over it in post-therapy journey, maybe troublesome to hear for some. Is that how you said?

I don't know. I think Black had peaked in 2016. And as a connoisseur of the album, that is one of my favorite album, R&B albums of all time, called, let me find this, Free Black. I have to say that this man definitely peaked in 2016.

Now, I don't want to be that person that says his old music is just significantly better than his new music because his track with Little TJ called Calling My Phone is Prime Black. That's one of the better tracks from newer artists that I've heard in a while. Like calling my phone with Little T.J. and Black

is a mood setter if I've ever heard such a thing from my audio format. So, yeah, that's where I feel like, black was back in his 2016 bag. I don't know why he just didn't take that and just remix it and just made a full-length version for himself. But hearing what he's put on this album, I'm not going to say it's bad because I listen to the entire album.

Like, I'm actually a black fan. Like, it may not sound like it, but I am. I feel like he just peaked in a way that he created music in 2016. And this whole new slowed down, you know, let me. tell you about my feelings type album i prefer more of the ump tempo tracks i do like preach because that's more of an um tempo kind of slow down but like still bring it's fast enough for me like the really slow down tracks where he gets to quote unquote crooning which is what you call like when you can't sing but you're still singing it's like crooning like you're just trying to stay

over you just try to stay on tune or stay on key or whatever whatever I feel like black is one of those artists where he would have been better off just maybe re-releasing or just or just remixing some of the old tracks he did in 2016 because this album for me is just it's just a downward a downward spiral I can't even say it's a downward spiral so um I can't even get it out I'm so disappointed honestly I thought black was going to come with something crazy like I have to I heard him used a little sting sample for his second single. I thought he's going to come with something crazy. And let me tell you, he did not.
