Starting point is 00:00:00 Now, is it just me, or does the first 10 to 20 seconds of this track by Black sound like Sting, shape of my heart? Maybe I'm tripping, but the first 10 to 20 seconds of that track is very similar to the start of shape of my heart by Sting that was notoriously sampled by the one in the only juice world. and you probably already guess so I'm going with this. Black, in my opinion, peaked in 2016. His last single was very below average.
Starting point is 00:00:46 This is coming from a person who's listened to Black throughout the years, very below average. And now he's back with a new single. I think he heard the talk. So he was like, what? They doubting me? So he was like, all right, I'm about to hit him with something else.
Starting point is 00:01:00 And so he came with this track called Talk Back. And it's very similar to sting, shape of my heart. But not only that, the juice world lucid dreams. Now, I say all that to say, that this new single by Black is straight fire. I mean, Fuego, I mean, all type of fire emojis is thrown up at somebody's random comment section like this one. is it like this is this is the one but i can't help but here the sample that even juice world used the guy that gave him his jump start as far as having another hit in the shape of my heart
Starting point is 00:01:46 sample from sting so i don't know what it is about that sample but it makes any track a bona fide hit and i don't even use words like bona fide but anyway so six lack because you know that's technically how I spell, but you know, forget the English language, right? Black is back again with a new track called Talk Back. And this one is straightfire. I mean, even the words and the track. I mean, he said, I just spoke to God on the phone. That ain't cap. He was there loud and clear. I said, what's up? He talked back. Don't let your enemies throw you off track. I mean, this man was talking like he was really talking to Jesus himself. You know what I mean? So anyways, the biggest thing I want to get into this track is that
Starting point is 00:02:29 Black seems like he's I think I feel like I use the word track a lot Let's just say Black seems like he's back on the path Of offering a great project Because I'm not going to lie to you That last single was not doing it for me I don't know what he was doing
Starting point is 00:02:47 I don't know if he was just trying some ads some more With some random instrumental on the background because that didn't sound like a beat that I could hear Black on. It just sounded like him mumbling over a beat that he just found a liking to, you know? And maybe after the backlash and just criticism from fans from his first single, obviously people, some people like that first single. I'm not, when I was talking to some black fans, it was like, you know, the first single's not so bad.
Starting point is 00:03:18 And I kind of like it. So I was like, you know, for me personally, I still don't like it. I don't think it's even close to what he used to give us. So talk back is a nice reminder that Black is sincerely one of the nicest artists when he gets into his flow. Like another reminder that I had even before this talkback track was when he was on the song with a little T.J. I think it was called Call My Phone or Calling My Phone. That reminded me that Black can like when he's in that pocket, he can, he can, he can, uh, with the best of them.
Starting point is 00:03:56 I think that's what they call it whenever you sing, but you can't really sing. So, yeah, that was basically what I wanted to get into. So Black is with this new track called Talkback, and let me tell you, it is Straight Fire. Probably my favorite, it's up there. It was some really good music as far as this release went. Like, it was very top heavy. Like Ray Shremor and NF, they're probably up there, but Talk Back may be my favorite track that was released at midnight because i don't know what it is about that sting sample from
Starting point is 00:04:30 what's that called i don't know what it is about that sting sample from shape of my heart but whenever somebody puts that in the first 10 to 20 seconds of their track you know they're coming with a classic so anyways click my link to your in my bio let me know on one of my social medias what do you think about blacks latest single talk back and do you think he peaked in 2016
