Starting point is 00:00:03 The great A-Sap Rocky has just dropped the track titled Taylor Swift. Now, I wonder who he could be referring to with the titled track of Taylor Swift. Set to be the quote-unquote single for his album, Don't Be Dumb, coming out in fall 2024. So hence the album title, We're gonna not be dumb and talk about which y'all all. came here as far as wanting to hear when it comes to Aesap Rocky so Rihanna has been actively involved in various activities you know just very involved as far as a mogul icon just a legendary status in just the world right as far as planet Earth Rihanna is one of the more notable humans on it so with that being considered
Starting point is 00:01:03 A lot of things that Rihanna has been up to has been consisting of beauty and fashion. Because if you haven't realized, Rihanna has retired from music. And if you look up how much she's made from Fenty Beauty versus how much she made from music, not to discredit her music career, of course, just to showcase that she's like Pee-E Kirkland the way that she's a legend in two sports. Right? I think that's the right person. Let me see. because I don't want to just say some
Starting point is 00:01:34 Kirkland Legend 2 sports this is how I do my research just live right 2-8 guard I think I think that's right Legend in two games
Starting point is 00:01:49 I did get his name right Hey look at me you know what I'm saying Anyways back to what I'm saying So Rihanna Fashion and her status In fashion has grown exponentially And one of the biggest things about Rihanna is that her retiring from music means that a lot of importance has been put on Fenty
Starting point is 00:02:10 Beauty and Fenty skincare because if you go to Rihanna's page, I mean, she's only popping out to perform at the Super Bowl and make songs for Disney. So if you're not a huge conglomerate trying to give Rihanna a multi-million dollar check to put out a single or to perform, then she's probably not going to show up. So with that being considered, just congratulating Rihanna on just showcasing her ability to switch lanes as far as in the creative realm. I just make a whole nother just business in itself. Just brand deals everywhere based off the Fenty Beauty and its dominance in the beauty industry. I mean, as far as showing up to New York, as far as like showcasing her fenty hairline, as far as her social media, basically teasing everything when it comes to beauty products and never really anything when it comes to music.
Starting point is 00:03:19 The only thing she keeps telling her audience is that she's been working on an album. But guess what? She's probably making music for her and her friends to listen to and maybe to play at a club to be like, hey, I got that new unreleased. Rihanna and then it goes right back into the hard drive, right? So anyways, that's what Rihanna's been up to. A lot of beauty and fashion. A lot of just making fashion statements every other day. She's definitely active on social media. So at least she just didn't like disappear from the public eye. And then she's also given a lot of health and beauty tips because I believe one of the beauty tips that she gave was like take care of your skin by wearing a sunscreen.
Starting point is 00:03:57 like she was basically like promoting her finty skin product hydrovisor a visor oh i can't read yes hydra visor and it basically showcases how the health and skin care um is very important as far as uh her business promotions so yeah man i know that's probably what y'all came here for us i'm not going to be done as far as a sap rocky's album title and tell y'all which i actually came here for you know give y'all the real and now we can get back to the whole reason we even tolerate this math music so anyways um rocky referring to taylor swift having a track called weddy and performing that at a rolling loud festival last year is very controversial controversial so your music is not really hitting like that i don't know how else to put it so whenever you use a very bare bones tactic of trying to use another
Starting point is 00:05:07 celebrity to boost your music it's kind of weird and the obsession with taylor swift as far as promoting your music needs to be studied because as a drake as an avid drake fan you knew i was just going to bring drake into this as an avid drake fan i kind of understand why people would go at taylor swift for their own promotional gain or a financial gain because currently the top song from a rapper is literally a diss towards drake so if your top song ever is dissing somebody you're probably going to do that more often. And for Rocky to take that same route and to try
Starting point is 00:05:52 to flip Taylor Swift's name in a more provocative manner as far as the track themes in the subject matter is very understandable as far as the receiving, you being on a receiving end of backlash from the Swifties. Because I don't think
Starting point is 00:06:13 they took too kind. actually they didn't take too kind to you just publicly using Taylor Swift's name for publicity. I mean, you're already making money off of a mogul who's also a female in the industry. I mean, trying to just leach off of every famous woman that's ever had multi-platinum level success in the music industry, diamond level success in the industry. It's just a pattern that needs to be stopped because my brother, we can see you. We see what you're doing. You're not using too many smoking mirrors to throw us off, right?
Starting point is 00:06:50 As far as Rihanna, as far as Taylor Swift, I mean, just do something on your own merit, on your own name, and then let's see how that sells, right? because at the end of the day, I don't think in any world, in any land, did A's at Rocky clear this with Taylor Swift before he put this out? But if Taylor Swift ever comes out and be like, hey, Swifties, you know, calm down. You know, I gave him the okay, like on some Kanye type tip. Like, if she was like, you know, actually he did contact me before he put this out,
Starting point is 00:07:22 I would be hard pressed to see that actually happens, if that actually happens. So as far as Taylor Swift and the Swifties, I'm glad that they didn't take too kind to A's A's Iraqi playing on her name because that's really how you showcase your dominance as a fan base. It's whenever they messaged your particular artist,
Starting point is 00:07:43 you got a band together and showcase that, even though we may talk about it a certain way, y'all can't. And so I like that, I like the way that they form like that as far as Voltron to defend the artists. And I say y'all not liking the black people, like y'all people now it's just like in a whole a holistic way of a creator their fan base or a supportorship whatever you want a supporting base and how they come together to defend their like artists sort of like when drake went at megan and making the stallion fans came together and was
Starting point is 00:08:20 calling out drake for taking shots literally at well not literally because torrey lanes did that but um taking shots at more it's not even funny i was just just taking shots at making the stallion as far as she lied about taking shots but she's still a stallion and her fan base just completely pointing that out and showcasing how Drake's just too old to be playing like that especially targeting an up-and-coming female rapper in the game so that's why I say I love when creators and their respective supporting base comes together to defend them Because of course, y'all can't talk like you want to their specific creator, but they can talk like however they want because they support them,
Starting point is 00:09:06 which, you know, even that's a slippery slope. But for the most part, if they come together to defend their creator, at the end of the day, that's how you can really ask for. So, you know, despite the controversy, ASAP still put out the track and his album, Don't Be Dumb, was pushed back. Who knows why? Because whenever it comes out, it's probably just going to be the same level of trash. So, hey, I'm not even hating on A-SAP.
Starting point is 00:09:31 Like, his music's really not good in the past year or two. You know, the only time I heard a good delivery from A-Sap was from Leland Wayne. And that was simply for the fact that that man's one of the greatest producers that hip-hop's ever seen. So, y'all probably wonder who that is. I just like using governments because that's what Drake did on Family. matters i wonder if anybody noticed that but probably not because they'd be hating so um yeah so metro
Starting point is 00:10:03 boomin was the last one to actually get a good verse out of asap to the point where i compare the asap verse to prime conier i want y'all to go back and listen to metro booming and the track with uh i don't think it's on here because it's a spider verse let me go to the spider verse i want you to go back to the track with atap the track titled am i dreaming with metro boom and a saf rocky and tell me that don't sound like prom conya west y'all may think i'm joking by being dead serious when i say that so uh one of the favorite one of my favorite tracks of 2024 and i think it ended up being on my list as far as one of my um i mean 2023 because yeah i don't think that track came out this year let me see actually that was my favorite track of
Starting point is 00:10:58 23. So that should let you know how much I enjoy that. And that's why I give it such high praise as far as it being prom, Kanye. So, you know, ASAP could come back and say, oh, but I put out your favorite track of last year. And I would be remiss to not bring up the fact that Metro Boomer had 99.9%
Starting point is 00:11:20 to do with that because the vibe, the production, everything's set up for him just to deliver a verse. And, And he did deliver that verse, but at the end of the day, we've seen how much Metro had a hand in making that just a phenomenal track because this man can't make even lukewarm quality on his own. So that's why we take the time to cover his music. No, no. The reason why we take the time to cover his music is simply for the fact that he's with Rihanna. And I use every single time he drops to give a Rihanna update.
Starting point is 00:11:51 So, yeah, man. With that being said, to bring it full circle. Rihanna, you know, beauty and fashion is going well. Fenty Beauty. She was just promoting her Fenty skin product hydrovisors. So definitely make sure to check that out. You know, if you want to advocate for skin health, you know, skin care and just overall well-being as far as, you know, the follicles on your bones. You know what I'm saying? That's probably not the way that they promoted.
Starting point is 00:12:17 But, hey, that's the way I promoted, right? So, yeah, man. With that being said, click my link to you and my bio. Let me know one of my social media. What do you think about ASAP Rocky once again coming out to consistently give us just garbage material? And also, what is your favorite finty product from Rihanna?
