Starting point is 00:00:03 Now, don't let anybody ever tell you that over here at Notorious Mass Effect, we don't dive into the entire music industry. Because ladies and gentlemen, we're about to get into the most popular track in India. But then, you know what I'm saying? I was like, damn, look at the state of hip hop. Like, what's going on? And not only that, the main thing I was going to get across before we dive deep into the track, because I personally really liked this track to the point where it ended up on, my playlist. Multiple tracks I listen to from different genres. And of course, I have my specific
Starting point is 00:00:41 tracks that I prefer compared to others. But this one specifically really stood out to me not only because the sonics is very pleasing, but when it comes to the structure of the track, it's a very simple track. And I realized he was saying something over and over again. So I took that as the chorus, but it seemed like the chorus took up the whole track. So of course, so of course, course I did a little journalistic due diligence and basically researched what in the world this track meant because of course I looked it up on genius and guess what hieroglyphics all over the screen and then once I hit the translate button you come to realize there's not a lot of words on in this song and he is repeating the same
Starting point is 00:01:24 words a lot throughout this entire track but of course the entire song structurally is phenomenal I always say when I listen to the different genres where the native tongue is not mine and I can't understand what they're saying sonically is it pleasing and the structure of the track is what I look for as far as if I like it and then if I really like the track as far as in this case I dive deeper into it so come to find out what more alike than people realize because this specific track reminds me of a juice world type track because basically it's a hard break type track. It's literally saying my sahiba. My my sahiba. Don't take care of the don't take the heart for rent. It's fragile. It breaks. You guys. That's sad. Anyways, he continues by saying, sahiba, sleep. And ultimately, what kind of good word will it be? The company that is with you.
Starting point is 00:02:33 then you know what I was like damn look at the state of hip hop like what's going on now I never really had it put like that but also like you listen to the you read off the English translation which is probably you know misinterpreting a couple things but the main point is it's a heartbreak anthem and at the beginning I even know any of that I knew it was some type of love song sonically it was through the roof but now of course you come to realize we're more alike then we actually know once you start to research more into specific tracks Anyways, without the way, you know, over here at notorious mass effect, we have to get into the notorious impact of this specific track as it is currently the 13th most played video in the world. And when it comes to that, it is a very successful, well, it's the 13th most played music video in the world, a very successful track. And I think when it comes to these type of successful tracks, you realize that the year is 2025 in this track. in this track came out December, 23. Now you take a step back and wonder how in the world did it grow more popular post two years when there's so many other releases in the year of 2025. Well, of course, once again, TikTok has came out to be consistently the most authentic and organic marketing tool you can use as a musician. as because of TikTok, because of Instagram reels, it ended up doing around 200,000 streams in six days.
Starting point is 00:04:10 That's insane, ain't it? And then people ran to the music video. And now the music videos, the 13th most played music video on the world. So a song that came out two years ago, December of 2023 to be specific, is now the number one on India's top news. music chart, the number one track in India period. And of course, when it comes to the global viral charts, it's number 24, the higher, the highest new entry worldwide during release week. Now, the reason why I say all that is basically to let you know that not only is a very
Starting point is 00:04:49 unique statistical accomplishment being two years out, but still reaching the number one two years later as far as in India, but more specifically, When you look at Aditya Rick Hari, which is basically the artist, so Aditya Rick Hari and him being an Indian songwriter and also a singer and composer, you come to realize it's written, composed, and sung entirely by Aditya Ricari. I mean, talk about the Indian version of Russ. this man does it all so making this entire track basically having what it seems like all the royalties and masters is going to him because if you look at it it says super cassettes industries private i don't know what that is it's basically the credit for the specific track now i i believe that's independent but also you know we don't spread fake news around here so i want to see
Starting point is 00:05:57 what that industry is specifically for. Let me see private limited music label because I haven't seen that before but granted this is the second artist I believe I've covered from India because the first artist was a Tynisk I believe Bagchi with the track Sayyara and that track was very successful but I didn't personally enjoy it like I do this specific track. Now, Super Cassettes Industries Private Limited as known as a T-Series and is one of India's most prominent and influential music labels and entertainment companies, and it was founded in 1983. So more particularly, Bollywood soundtracks and indie pop, and it holds approximately 35% of market share in recent estimates. I wonder if that's, yeah, that's specifically in Bollywood, because I know that's not music in general. And T-Series has evolved from cassette era pioneer.
Starting point is 00:07:00 Oh, that's why it's called that, to a digital giant with a massive presence on platforms like YouTube. Okay, so essentially, they basically have been around for quite some time, and they specialize with Bollywood artists. And, of course, usually they described as indie pop as far as when they blow up. Aditya Ricari definitely is the frontrunner on that label currently, as not only does he have the number one track of Indypapy, Not only does he have the 13th most play music video in India, but when it comes to the track specifically in the sonically And with the sonics quality
Starting point is 00:07:35 I believe it is up there with the best of them as far as my favorite overseas tracks in the year of 2025 to the point where if you listen to the track you'll probably see what I'm coming from as far as me reiterating that we're more alike than we actually know and all you got to do is a little research and you come to find out you're you're authentically vibing with this specific track and who would have thought that would have happened in the year of 2025 without technology right so um i've really enjoyed this track i think it's successful for a reason i always say just because you sell a lot does not mean you make the best product i do too don't correlate but with this specific track i think it does so that being said click my link tree in my bio let me know on one of my social medias what do you think about i did you Rikari's track sahiba have you listen to the track and what is or who is your favorite overseas artists in the year of 2025
