Ispa has put out their first album, literally titled the first album.
And what's so funny is this is like their third album.
The first one was technically the second mini album.
And this is only on DSP.
So I'm looking at Spotify.
If they have some type of mixtape that was out before this, some type of project,
whatever that became out before this is not on DSP.
So as far as on DSPs officially, the first project came out July 8th, 2022.
And then their second project, which is titled the fourth mini album.
I mean, talk about confusing.
I am befuddled.
I'm just trying to figure this out like the rest of y'all.
But that is why I did my research and I'm trying to put this in a concise manner to ultimately talk about ESPA.
and all their success because it has been a lot, especially even here in America.
So the second album, which is titled the fourth mini album, came out November 10th, 2023.
But fast forward, Supernova came out May 13th, 2024, so this year.
And no pun intended.
well I guess pun intended the track went supernova and that's what we're going to focus on first before
we get into this album because that is what I believe led SM entertainment to let them put out an
album because of course they've had EPs in the past but as far as projects this is their third one
technically but it's titled the first album now why is that you might ask because
This is probably one of the best performative tracks ever in their career.
As far as Supernova, I'm just going to throw out some stats for y'all because, of course, at the end of the day,
when you get to analytics and these dreamlike analytics, I might add, is very pivotal to point out why that's happening.
As 49 million people have been streaming this album, it's only been on the charts for two weeks,
is peaked at number seven
it held numbers
uh no not seven
it peaked at number 17
held its position at 17
on week two and as far as
the sales you had
49 million streams
you had
um trying to find
find the other one
okay so you had the streams
49.0 million streams
so technically 49 million streams
and then you had
The sales being 1.5,000 because of course streaming isn't the way to, you know, judge actual units.
It has to be, it's like every 1,400 streams equals an album sale, if that makes sense.
So due to math on that, Supernova has been selling tremendously for ESPA in a way that I believe, because it's just me guessing, led to SM entertainment, letting them.
put out another body of work and titling it the first album to capitalize off of the immense success
of supernova which is the 17th most successful track in the world mind you because the reason i bring that up
and those are like certified analytics it's not my projections which i usually give as far as given a
updated perspective on the future on how tracks are performing this is the final
Billboard global 200 predictions as far as top 100 report charted dated June 1st 2024 so this is as up to date as you can get
So as far as ISPA just to give a little synopsis or a summary of who they are
It's a group of course a combination well
Specifically referring to the name it's a combination of a E which stands for Avatar and experience
and aspect meaning two-sideness symbolizing meeting of another self and experiencing a new world.
I mean, talk about deep, right, and profound.
But the four members' names are Karina, Winter, Gazelle, and Ningning.
I think it's Ningning.
It's N-I-N-G, N-I-N-G.
So I believe it's N-N-N-N-G.
Anyways, so there's four members.
The group debuted in November 2020 with a single Black Mumba.
The song entered the Billboard Global Chart, excluding the U.S., at a number of 100 within just three days,
marking the highest ranking of any K-pop artist debut song.
and it charted across music charts in 95 countries,
proving their explosive popularity immediately upon debut.
Ispa set monumental records with the Black Mumba,
surpassing 21 million views in the first 24 hours of its release
in its respective region,
because of course it became the fastest to debut
and surpassed 100 million views in the history of K-pop,
setting yet another new record.
So fast forward, Supernova is the 17th most successful track in the world when you look at
the global charts.
And when you look at SM entertainment, which I believe allowed them to put out a project
based off and based off of capitalizing on the success of Supernova, the label which they're
under and putting out all this product under is a South Korean.
multinational entertainment agency established back in 1995 by Lee So Man, one of South Korea's
largest entertainment companies and has been responsible for fostering and popularizing the careers
of many K-pop stars, garnering huge global fan bases, of course, and a company operates as a
record label, talent agency music production company, you know, the ends all be all when it comes to
getting your music out there to the masses.
So with ESPA being one of the more performative artists and currently the best performing
act off of SM entertainment is no wonder why they're calling this album out now the first
album and literally our tideling it, Armageddon, the first album.
So that's why I try to bring it full circle.
I'm just letting y'all know the trajectory of this album.
is probably going to do well based off of the support of SM entertainment but SM entertainment support
is based off of Supernova putting up real numbers and society basically being the 17th most successful
track currently in the world so that's just what I wanted to leave y'all with I mean
ISPA has put out the album Armageddon the first album um as far as k-pop goes
I think that they've been recognized to the point where they've been winning certain awards.
I mean, I think they won their fourth award at the M countdown.
I think it was because of Supernova.
And that was competing with songs like New Jeans, How Sweet.
Just let you know how popular this particular group is and who they're competing with.
And they debuted in 2020, like I just went over.
but you know it's 2024 and they still are added putting up the best numbers in their career ever so with
that i wanted to give them their flowers let the masses know that eastba has put out the new album
armageddon the first album is like the title so the title is armageddon the first album because i know
it may get confusing for most people but anyways it's out now on all dsp so click my link tree in my
bio let me know one of my social media is who currently
is your favorite k-pop artist and specifically for Ispa for the album Armageddon are you willing to give it a listen
