Shepard promise me you'll tell them to subscribe for a free content.
I just don't like it, man.
I just don't like that shit, man.
Go take care of your kids, man.
All right, ladies and gentlemen, analytic dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio.
Because if you don't know, you know, over here at notorious mass effect, I'm pretty transparent.
You know what I'm saying?
At the end of the day, obviously, you can tell based off my name, that academics had a huge influence on me even diving into the content creator of space.
And of course, when it comes to Linnard, aka Charlemagne, reading his book, Black Privilege,
pun intended, was one of the biggest privileges that I've ever had, seeing the world through
his perspective.
And y'all may call it glazing, but I think that's why I'm at the place I am as far as doing this
full time.
You know what I'm saying?
So I wanted to start off with that to let y'all know that doing this for about, I've been doing
this for about six years.
I think when it comes to the genius of Leonard and Livingston, also known as Charlemagne and academics,
there's really no other mind you can compare to them in the space of content creation,
especially when focusing on hip hop.
Now, that brings me to my ultimate point.
Ladies and gentlemen, I don't like this one bit.
I just don't like it, man.
I don't like this one bit.
I just don't like that shit, man.
Because when it comes to the beef, the seemingly, the alleged beef between Charlemagne and academics,
at the end of the day, the putting in laymanes terms, this is a nothing burger.
What I mean by that is this is revolving around betting.
Now, the great area of betting is, I'm about to expound upon that.
But when it comes to Charlemagne and academics, I believe, the main reason,
Charlemagne is even
entertaining
this conversation
is because of the mammoth
of influence
that academics has grown into.
I think as of right now,
academics is one of the most
influential marketing
tools and marketing
factors in the hip-hop industry.
And when it comes to
black influence,
you may not like it,
but academics is one of the most influential
figures, whether good or bad, in the black community.
Now, that statement may take a lot of people by surprise, because of course, they're going
to be, oh, your bias, academics is one of your favorite content creators.
And if you look at the objective sets, I mean, academics, engagement is leaps and bounds
above the rest in the black community to the point where there's not a political podcast,
but to the point where certain figures was being shown, no, no, certain figures in a political
space was doing interviews with academics because of his massive influence.
Basically, I'm just going to say it.
Trump's son was doing an interview with academics.
Now, what y'all think they was looking at when they decided to sit down and do an interview
with academics?
Y'all think he really knew everything about politics?
No, for real.
Like, y'all think academics is really all knowledgeable about politics.
You know, he's just all-knowing when it comes to politics.
Of course not.
His fan base is massive.
So the reason why I'm bringing him.
politics into this is because essentially speaking jzy is also one of the black figures that's very
influential which is why roger giddell leaned upon him when cappernick was kneeling and he got everybody
as far as the black community to stop boycott in the NFL what jZ did as far as influence in the
black community to completely disregard cappernic and stop kneeling i mean that was just a master class on how
to manipulate the black community i could you
not. Oh, my fault. I ain't mean to clap that up.
So with dealing with three figures in the black community that's insanely effective, right?
Them going back and forth, I believe, is really a power struggle on how the other people
look at them as far as their influence on the black community. Hopefully I'm not losing
y'all because I watch both of these people a lot. So I know exactly
what is the foundation of their beef.
They're trying to be seen as more influential
over the black community.
And the other side is honestly more influential,
whether good or bad, once again,
I think academics in his camp,
whether it's academic TV,
whether it's all the content creators
that follows academics,
I think as far as the ecosystem,
what academics has built
is one of the most influential
marketing factors
in the black community
as of right now. So anyways, with that being said, ladies and gentlemen,
Charlemagne and academics are allegedly beefing. Why the world may never know.
Apparently, Charlemagne and I have a lot of soundbite, so that's why I say analytic dreams.
Well, actually, I'm probably not going to play the video of brilliant idiots because of course,
you know how they get. But I play a sound bite. But anyways,
Charlemagne was talking about a specific point when it came to gambling. Now, once again,
gambling is just the second layer. The first layer is the power struggle over the influence.
on the black community being seen as the most influential
marketing factors as far as influenced the black
black community which is very important when it comes
to politics right the second layer is gambling
and here is leonard also known as charlemagne talking
about the gambling reasons why he's going to academics right here
but inverse wire.com says pay no attention to the grand wizard behind
the curtain five lawsuits say the bets were rigged the screams
All right, so Grand Wizard is
is academic TV, by the way.
And even the chat losing its mind was a higher
inside the machine that manufactures Drake.
Grand Wizard is mentioned in that, George Wynn.
I want to hear you talk about that.
And the Wall Street Journal article is
they looked like they were getting rich on polymarket,
but none of it was real.
The prediction market has flooded social media
with deceptive videos paid by paid creators
according to a Wall Street Journal investigation.
Drake and Aidan Roth declined a comment
for that article as they should and
shorty keep asking the date she's trying to finish
probably marking for bread. That ain't got
nothing to do with Rock Nation.
That ain't got nothing to do with
Kendrick. Oh, I just got the line now.
She's asking the date, meaning the release.
Yeah, Chris, come on.
I'm not going to lie. I didn't get that either.
No, the whole time, I was thinking, oh, man,
she wants to go on a date. I didn't think she was asking
for, you know, hey, that's why he did go, you know what I'm saying?
Is it okay? I got my dope on me?
Anyways, so without, you know, that was just a random
Drake Glaze. That's crazy. It's my fault.
Anyways, with that being said, the main thing I wanted to get into was the accusation from
Leonard. So basically, he's targeting steak once again. For some reason, certain people in
Charlemagne's camp wants to target stake. And targeting stake, you also have to target their biggest
mascots, which is Drake, which is Aidan Ross, and, of course, academics. So now that you're
looking at academics and academics TV, keep in mind the two separate entities. Academics is his own
self as far as content creator. Academics TV was once, yeah, if you're not in content
creator lane, you won't get the rage comparison. I was about to compare him to rage. But basically,
academics TV started off as an academics clipping channel, right? And just blossom into his own
influential platform in itself. So academics TV is not just as big as academics, but it's rising on the
list of influential platforms.
So anyways, Academics TV also is with stake.
The reason why this is a big deal, because Leonard is pointing out that steak is allegedly
an illegal gambling promotion, right?
Which brings you back to layer two of academics versus Charlemagne.
Layer one is the power struggle over the influence of the black community.
Layer two is gambling.
Them, no, no, Lenard targeting steak is very interesting because you look at a lot of
betting platforms.
And they're all in the gray area as far as allegedly breaking the law.
Now, I say allegedly, but we're about to get into some things that's not alleged.
As draft kings had an NFT lawsuit in 2025 where they agreed to pay 10 million settlement
to resolve a class action lawsuit, right?
Then you had draft kings and fan duel, consumer protection suits where the city of Baltimore
and individual plaintiffs filed major lawsuits accusing the giants of using predatory,
highly addictive, psychological triggers and VIP targeting methods.
then you had Kalashi state bans and criminal charges in 2025 to 2026, which had a prediction market platform Kalashi was hit with criminal charges in Arizona and lawsuit slash injunctions in states like Michigan, Nevada, and Ohio for offering unlicensed sports and election betting.
You get what I'm saying?
Like all of these sports platforms is allegedly breaking the law.
One of the biggest prospects.
Prospects was involved with the New York State regulation as far as $15 million from them paid out, no, $1,000.
$15 million from prize picks that they had to pay
because the New York State Gaming
Commission targeted prospects
for running unlicensed mobile sports
betting disguised as fantasy sports.
So February 2024,
prize picks agreed to
a $15 million settlement
and temporarily ceased
New York operations.
Now, there's
a certain individual.
There's a long list of the rappers that had to
go get a job. There's certain individuals
that says prize
is the favorite part of the show.
I'm just going to leave it at that.
You know what I'm saying?
You guys.
See, that's the problem.
Let's keep going.
So, prize picks also had a Kentucky class action lawsuit that settled in 2025,
where Price Pigs Side Prize LLC faced a consumer class action lawsuit,
which was Tay Fox, T-A-I-Fox versus Side Prize, alleging illegal gambling under Kentucky
law.
They agreed to a settlement in 2025 to pay out cash refunds.
to affected players who lost money on the platform.
This is all coming into my ultimate point.
This is all transitioning into my ultimate point.
This is a nothing burger.
All the sports betting platforms allegedly are breaking the law.
So now, when you look at them going back and forth, trading shots over, oh, you try to do this
betting, oh, you try to do that casino.
Like, it's just all a nothing burger because every single sporting, every single gambling
platform is allegedly breaking the law.
It's a reason why Mike Bisley is out here.
Is it Mike or Malik?
I think it's Malik Beasley.
I think it's Malik Beasley.
Yeah.
There's a reason why Malik Beasley is pleading not guilty to gambling charges, right?
But he's probably, well, let me not say that.
Basically, he's in a lot of trouble when it comes to gambling.
Gambling is in every single industry and is percolating like none other.
And it's really a cancer, honestly.
So when it comes to Leonard versus.
Livingston, which is
Charlemagne versus academics.
I believe when it comes to the
academic side of things, his
case is not as strong, as
this is what he had to say about his
findings of Charlemagne.
Do you think you forgot
to mention to his friend me?
Hey, by the way,
I'm on a legal...
Oh yeah, I think I could put this up. So once again,
Analytic Dreams video on Spotify to see the video
along with the audio.
...document of declaration
that I am under the umbrella of Rock Nation for the casino proposal that was just turned down a few months ago.
Do you think my friend forgot to tell me that?
All right.
So basically, I think this point is kind of, it's not the strongest point.
As you can see, you see my cursor?
Yeah, I can see my cursor.
Okay, so Lenore McKelvey, known professionally as Sholevian the God.
As you can see right here, he's under Rock Nation.
For some reason, academics pulled up a whole document to say that he's under Rock.
Nation, which is, this is just for a casino.
Like, he's basically promoting a casino.
Not the Cape for Charlemagne, but I don't
think this is the biggest
Joker that academics
that he was playing as far as the game of
cars that him and Leonard is currently happening.
Think he forgot. You know, I drink
a lot. Maybe he drinks too.
That man definitely drinks a lot. Anyways, let's keep going.
Think he forgot.
What do you think?
I mean, took a whole shot in the middle of his...
Okay.
Do you think he forgot?
I will commend Livingston, because
I don't know how this man drinks a whole bottle of liquor.
It still stays on stream for like six hours.
Like, I just don't understand how this man, that man's built different.
Paul's.
So anyways, bringing that up is to lead to my ultimate point.
So he's pointing out how Charlemagne is being on Rock, is on Rock Nation's payroll.
But he basically just showcased him being a part of the promotional aspects for the casino filing,
which if you don't know, completely failed.
once again gz beat out j z i know for all the j z heads out there you may be upset to know this but
gnaz got an actual casino in new jersey i believe and j z failed at getting a casino in new york
because j z charlemagne i think fat joe they was all like the the black influencers puppets
for advocating for this casino in new york uh tom square i believe so that failed right so
Charlemagne was obviously a promoter for that.
I don't think that was hidden.
He literally showed up and gave like a speech.
Now, I think when it comes to academics,
he's trying to,
he's basically draw snitching
that him bringing up the casino being good for New York
on the Breakfast Club is illegal, right?
And I looked it up.
And basically, it's not illegal.
Under FCC and FTC guidelines,
because I'm not a lawyer,
So, of course, I let, you know, the more knowledgeable people, let's, you know, talk about what's illegal and what's not.
But specifically, when it comes to his accusations toward Charlemagne, apparently, under FCC and FTC guidelines, it is standard legal practice to advocate for a business venture if you are publicly identified as part of the bid, which Charlemagne was.
So because he was publicly identified, which is what, you know, academics was showing, it's not, he was trying to dry snitch on his business.
it being illegal, but it really wasn't.
And obviously, he was trying to point at the fact of Charlemagne gaslighting him,
which I will give him that point.
Charlemagne is a master manipulator.
When it comes to Charlemagne, when it comes to Joe Button,
I don't think I've seen better gas lighters ever as far as orators.
They're probably the best gas lighters I've ever heard or seen.
So when it comes to that, Charlemagne was trying to tell academics that Jay-Z doesn't know about
Rock Nation, they don't know about them.
There's no reason why they need to be going back and forth
because academics has a whole history of Rock Nation in real life.
People think he just, you know, hey, Jay Z for no reason.
In real life, Rock Nation definitely picks on him a lot.
And to expound upon that point,
DJ Academics was in a seven-hour-long deposition.
Yes, you heard me correctly.
But then, you know what I'm saying?
I was like, damn, look at the state of hip-hop.
Like, what's going on?
DJ Academics was in a seven-hour.
long deposition and he was facing rock nation's legal representation that's not alleged that's actually a fact
he was in the deposition for seven hours in real life dealing with rock nation if you dealt with that
as a content creator like academics who makes a lot of money in his recording time imagine the
seven hours he could have been using he can use that seven hours for something else and the amount of
money he would have made so you would be upset too right and when it comes to that
Rock Nation has also played interest in games when it came to academics.
So when it comes to Charlemagne getting involved, academics confiding us to Charlemagne.
Charlemagne literally saying like, no, they don't even, like, what should be for Rock Nation?
Literally gaslighting him to the point where, I wonder if I have it on here.
I think he said something like, he said something like, oh, Jay-Z don't even know about you or it's not that big of a deal or something like that.
And they come to find out that's why academics poured up the whole Charlemagne being under Rock Nation.
because he's basically like, well, you're under the people who had me at a seven-hour deposition
making me lose all type of revenue and it's still trying to play nasty games and you're acting
like you're oblivious to the situation or you're trying or even worse, you're trying to say
that Jay-Z is oblivious to the situation and Rock Nation can care less.
So that's why I say Charlemagne, Joe Budden, just Hall of Fame gaslighters.
If there's one thing that academics is, he's very much transparent.
I think that's one of his pros and his biggest cons.
He's so transparent to the point where you come to realize that this man,
he gets spun by a lot of people.
So when it comes to Charlemagne, obviously he spun him,
which is why academics were so bewildered at seeing Charlemagne under Rock Nation.
So that's another point as far as the beef when it comes to Charlemagne and academics.
So once again, the first layer of the beef, I believe, is the power struggle over the black,
influence. The second layer is who could get the biggest bag from these promotion companies,
which basically goes back to the first layer as far as we're going to give the biggest bag
to the biggest influence of the black community. Right. So when you look at academics versus
Charlemagne, it's not one versus the other. It's a conglomerate versus a conglomerate.
It's Rock Nation versus the academics ecosystem. That is why.
a lot of people are confused on why this academic Charlemagne beef is even happening.
It's because at face value, Charlemagne was coming across as if he was completely oblivious
to what Rock Nation was doing to academics.
To come to find out, he's the main one who would know what Rock a nation is doing the academics.
So that's why the beef is there.
But once again, it's a nothing burger.
I don't think it's that big of a deal.
I think basically it's just how the game goes.
It's not like their lifelong friends, like their industry friends, which,
is way different.
Charlemagne's got to do things to
capitalize and
not set up academics in the best
light possible. I mean, he literally told him
to leave everyday struggle, which is the best
hip-hop show of all time. And listen to that
right here.
I'm heartbroken, bro.
So, so dramatic.
This man's so dramatic.
He could have told me.
I thought he was my friend. You could have
told me. He could have told me like, yo, bro.
But then, you know what I'm saying? I was like, Tim, look at the
state of it.
hip hop like what's going on?
Damn.
This man's so dramatic.
I kiss you not.
All right, let's try to move on, man.
He does not move on, ladies and gentlemen.
Let's just skip to the point where he...
This game is really fucked up, man.
I'm gonna give you some real shit.
I was doing everyday struggle with Joe Button.
Joe Bunn, you know, like, there's a time.
He whaling out on the shit, blah, blah, like, you know,
like the show was a little bit kind of, like,
more in his favor at first because, like,
I think there's looked at me, the internet guy.
Like, even just like, the staff.
or whatever like eventually shot you know shot to the chat niggas like i think y'all got on the
ass to even and down and i ain't going on line like i remember i was just like i was always like
figure i'm like yeah damn was it the right idea that i did the show i remember charlemagne
called me one time and as the industry veteran and someone who i looked up to as an idol a media
goat i remember charlemagne said to me it's like yo act this is how you handle that shit i said
how do i handle it now keep in mind we're mad viral on even though like it's you know
because it's a little bit out of my comfort zone because like you know there's a
A little bit more self-deprecating than I normally were used to.
Don't drink kids.
It's not good for you.
He said, he said, go in tomorrow and it's what you do.
Walk off that bitch, quit on air.
Really?
You think that's the move?
I said, yes, nigga.
Say, yo, when you're there with Joe, nigga, quit on air, nigga.
Like, them niggins are going to have to respect you.
Like, I'm like, hmm.
That's the move.
He didn't end up doing that.
But obviously,
Just to put in perspective on how Charlemagne is a Hall of Fame gas lighter,
who do you think it would have benefited if the greatest hip-hop show
lost half of his co-star, or half of his star power?
I wonder what other hip-hop show would have benefited from everyday struggle losing academics.
So when Charlemagne gives advice, it's very capitalistic,
and he's a Hall of Fame gaslighter.
I mean, he's really a one-on-one.
Like, you listen to Charlemagne, he'd be like, wow,
the sky the sky really is like red sometimes like you you go outside and charlemagne would be like nah like
you really got to look at the hue right people think it's blue but it's really red you think to yourself
wow he's really spitting you got you'm saying it's just a hall of fame gas lighter so i think once you know
that about charlemagne it comes across as he's just being him he's just automatically being him
He's just a huge capitalistic type of figure in this industry.
And there's nothing wrong with that, especially if you're not actually friends.
Like, if you was actually friends, it would be a lot wrong with that.
But the reason, you know, going back to the goat.
Is it okay?
I got my dope on me.
The reason why the goat says there's no friends in the industry is because everybody's trying to capitalize for their own gain.
And when it comes to this very dramatic, Charlemagne and academics beef is not as big of a deal as people.
want to make it out to be because at the end of the day is a power struggle between who's the
most influential over the black community is the academics ecosystem or is it charlemagne's camp
and i think people are finding out that academics is very influential um even with a lot of people
who are not under like like academics tv is obviously like academics right there's a lot of content
creators under academics that basically are very heavily influenced by him now of course i watch
academics all the time. But for me, I'm not the influence because, I mean, I skip all the
topics of him like talking about crime or him talking about black man getting locked up,
which is about like 60% of all his streams. So I'm skipping through a lot, right? But some people
sit through all that and, you know, eat up everything he's saying, pulse, and then realize
that, then you realize that they're regurgitating that or they're acting in the same line
as academics. Because, you know, academics is a Trump, a pro-Trump guy, right? It's not
political podcast. But basically,
one could see how Trump's son sitting down with academics
is because maybe they saw something in the background
as far as how academics was influencing the election, right?
And it sounds crazy until you realize that Trump's son
actually did sit down with academics.
And, of course, Trump has an actual picture of academics.
I want to see if I can find that right quick.
I just want to put it in perspective
how influential academics is because a lot of people get it misconstrued
because he's drunk 24-7 and talking.
you know, very slow, that he's not like one of the most brilliant minds we have in hip hop right now.
But I think, yeah, here we go.
I swear this is not AI.
I know he looks completely orange.
I swear this is not AI.
This is a real picture, ladies and gentlemen.
So this actually just happened randomly.
This was a whole stake deal.
They put him right next to Trump.
And of course, Trump was like, they was talking.
And when academics and Trump was talking, academics said that Trump was like,
because academics brought up A'sab Rocky.
like thank you for free and a Sabraki back when that happened right and Trump was like yeah I did
that or whatever so they did they had like a whole conversation or whatever about that so it's bigger
than a lot of people think because they're focusing on Charlemagne and academics so I don't want to
keep being a dead horse this is basically it's probably the last time I'm gonna talk about this
because I don't think anything's going to actually happen when it comes to the back and forth
I just wanted to wait and actually give a totality like an overall bird's eye view from people from a person
is heavily
into the know
in the know
about the academics
content and the Charlemagne content
so as far as the other stuff
as far as Wack 100
I mean that man needs Jesus
you know what I'm saying
I mean the things he's doing
I mean it just really
it doesn't make too much sense
especially when we realize
Charlemagne has the whole family
when doing certain tactics
I think it's just it crosses a lot of
boundaries to the point where
yeah I don't think whack in
Charlemagne, whatever, mend their beef.
By academics is not really going
as hard as he could be, because he could be doing
what Wack is doing, but he's not.
So, I'm trying to see.
Was there anything else? I think it was basically, you know,
the betting stuff I wanted to cover that, because, you know,
for some reason, people don't understand
the AI and gambling is
some of the biggest, well, AI's
more beneficial
than not beneficial,
which is saying a lot.
Gambling, on the other hand,
the jury is still out on that.
but I think it's very detrimental to like society as a whole.
I know people who've lost a whole like livelihood because of gambling.
And, you know, I gamble like once a year for like a yearly tradition.
Play my little blackjack and I get out of there.
You know what I'm saying?
But I'm very like frugal.
So, you know, gambling a lot's never been my cup of tea.
But I think that was basically, let me see.
Okay, definition.
Okay.
Yeah.
And then we talked about trying to make sure I cover everything.
I'm not covering this again.
Charlemagne versus academics is not something that I want to say.
see, I think they would be much better together than the part.
It reminds me of when Joe Budden and Charlemagne was going back and forth.
And that whole debacle was because Charlemagne was just straight up, once again,
gaslighting Joe, when he was trying to get his Spotify deal.
And for some reason, Charlemagne was just bringing up, hey, man, why you think it worth that much?
Nobody should think they're worth that much.
Like, man, you think you're bigger than the system.
Wow. Meanwhile, Joe Button is out here, like, actually negotiating, trying to get a new deal
from Spotify. And Charlemagne came back around and
apologized for that, but
that's what I'm talking about. Cholomain will
gaslight you and then you'll be thinking,
wow, he's really on my side.
You can't figure out he wasn't. So that's why
he was the one that had to apologize and that
Sholomaine Joe Bunn & Beef. So
he would say that. I think he did say that before.
Let me see.
So at the end of the day, when it comes to academics TV
as far as George win
and the way that Leonard
went at him, well, Charlemagne went at him.
I believe that's the biggest beef.
Because even Joe Budden has beef with Academics TV.
For some reason, academics TV goes very hard at individuals that is not necessarily oppositions of academics.
So I'm always confused by that.
Like the way they go at Megan, the way they go at Jay-Z, okay, that may make sense.
But the way they go at Charlemagne and Joe Button, who could be like helping the academics brand,
I don't know why Academics TV goes so hard at Joe Budden or at Charlemagne.
But, no, actually, I understand Charlemagne at this point in time.
But back then, he goes pretty hard at people.
And I think those type of accounts, they just have certain repercussions.
And I think we're just seeing it coming to fruition.
And that's like the third layer.
You know what I mean?
But it's lighter.
So hopefully, I'll like my three-layer breakdown of academics or of Livingston v.
Leonard, more commonly referred to as D.J.
your academics versus Charlemagne and click my link to share in my bio to follow me on my social
medias and of course if you're on spotify and if you've been keeping up with the charlemagne
the academics beef and you want anything answered because of course i've been i've watched these guys
a lot so i could probably answer anything in the comment section uh what do you want to know about
the beef that is not clear to you and also what is your biggest takeaway from the charlemagne academics beef
