Another challenger has entered the space in the Latin music community as an up-and-coming, a rising act in not only in his own community, but on the actual charts as Alex Favela has finally and officially caught himself one because the track that he put out titled Aloverja. I don't even know I say that. Pronunciations will get butchered because I don't speak Spanish. I don't know if that was obvious, you know, but anyways, Ello Verja, I think that's how you say it, which consists of a lot of people on the track, but, you know, there's nothing wrong with collaborations nowadays. You have Alex Favela, Grupo, Marca, Registrata,

and Jaquin, so many people on this album. I mean, track. Joe Quinn Medina. but the biggest person I'm going to focus on, of course, is Alex Favela, as he's the one who is the main artist for this particular track. Charting number six on the Mexican charts, I feel like it's only a matter of time before he actually infiltrates the states. And I say infiltrate in like a passive way, not in that other way, you know. But I think for a talented young artist like Favela, he is. is bound to catch himself one simply due to the fact that he started releasing music on DSPs in 2020

and he's now having this immense massive amount of success and where did it come to where did this come from right so basically Alex had a TikTok profile before spreading to other platforms and the success from his songs on those platforms made him want to spread out even more and more and the more and more recognition he started to receive, he started to collaborate with some of the musicians in his same field from the likes of Grupo, Marca Registrata, and of course Joe Cremita, which is obviously the people who helped him out on the latest single. There's other people he's collaborated with, but as far as the notable ones, are not even notable, I'm not trying to be disrespectful, but as far as the biggest ones, those are some of the names that you should know. that he started to collaborate with. But like I said, or like I've seen,

he's born in Los Angeles. And basically, the roots from Vera Cruz is where he paved his musical path. And he was inspired by his father's involvement in the band. And Alex, from that inspiration, started to make music himself. The biggest achievement for Alex Favela at this particular time is Eloverger. And that's not something to scoff at as putting out music in 2020 all the way to

2023 to get your first hit. A lot of people wait decades until they get an actual notable hit. But if you go down the list of Alex's music, I mean, he has Eloverger. Obviously, pronunciation is going to get butcher because I don't speak Spanish once again. And then you have Masque Amigos. Mosque Amigos, I don't say that. RZR Rojo, No Fu Surite, and La Corona. So those are his biggest tracks.

Currently, he has one album out titled La Live Session that came out in September 1st, 2020, and he's under Rio's Music LLC. distributed by Colonized Media. Now I don't know who that major label particularly is and let's see, I think he's been under that label from what I can see.

to shine a light on the up-and-coming Latin musician because at the end of the day, when trying to get R-I-I-Double A certification, you need a certain amount of stream specifically from the States, because if you don't know, to even chart in the U.S., you have to have U.S. streams. So I know it's a little different. A lot of people are like, why is it like that in the other charts or the most popular chart besides the U.S. is the world? So really, people only care about the U.S. and the world.

and I'm not just saying that because I'm from the United States. I'm also saying that because statistically speaking, the world is the biggest playlist, and then second is U.S., and then there's a big drop-off for third, fourth, fifth. So at some point, Alex Favela would have to cross over to the United States, and this is a good sign for things to come in the near future

with this particular track, Ello Verja, which I was saying is, number six on the top 50 charts for Mexico and it just came out. So very promising future for Alex Favela. Wanted to cover him. Put this out to the masses and see what people think about it. And of course, the Latin community that's been supporting a podcast, definitely learning and getting more into the space and learning more about different musicians.

and I do have a question what does groupo mean because there's so many different Latin artists with the name groupo actually I'm looking at it up right now group bro what does that mean because I don't know like I see so many different artists with groupo in front of the name it's almost like the little effect in the states it's like everybody's group oh this
