Starting point is 00:00:03 Now, of course, when we're talking about the music industry, it would be hard to ignore the artist that is on top. Now, obviously, I'm not talking about Morgan Wallen as he does have the most played album in the world currently. But of course, when it comes to singles, that title is held by none other than Alex Warren. So with ordinary being the number one most play track in the world for 19 weeks, safe to say that whenever he followed up with an album, it was probably going to perform well with the masses. Well, that's exactly right as You'll Be All right kid, which he already has an album out titled You'll Be All Right Kid Chapter 1. So I'm assuming that this would be Chapter 2 because Chapter 1 came out in 2024. This is the next installment. is titled, You'll Be All Right, Kid.
Starting point is 00:01:00 I think it's safe to assume it would probably have in parentheses Chapter 2. Now, this album is set to come out July 18th, 2025. I'm not going to lie to you. There's a lot of things coming out in July that as far as escapism content, we are going to be eating as music connoisseurs.
Starting point is 00:01:19 And, of course, I'm just throwing my superhero nerd into the fray as not only Superman, but also Fantastic 4, is coming into the fray to give us great entertainment for the month of July now why did I throw it in there I have no idea anyways getting back into music Alex Warren just put out a new single with Rosie who I've covered multiple times on this podcast because you know I loved it to dive into the k-pop community because fun fact as far as this podcast the first shout out I received from a fan base that went viral was from the k-pop community I was like who was
Starting point is 00:01:57 a thunk all these years of me covering hip hop and the first fan base to ever shout me out from a genre was k-pop but then you know what i'm saying i was like damn look at the state of hip-hop like what's going on now of course you know at the end of the day hip-hop fans kind of made up for it because they did make me go viral uh you know a good amount of times on social media but let's just state for the record books that the first time i ever went viral from a shout-out mind you was from the k-pop community so anyways i know a thing or two about k-pop artists so So Rosie, somebody who I've been covering from, I think, yeah, 2023 when the weekend was adding Rose to his idol soundtrack.
Starting point is 00:02:39 I think that's what it was titled. Very atrocious TV show. As far as the soundtrack in the choreography, a master class. I think that's one of the greatest soundtracks I've heard for a TV show yet. And of course, I'm a little biased come a weekend fan. But filled the void, one of the girls, like, if you really go back, to that and I make it kill for this it gives me 50 shades of gray type of vibes because that soundtrack is beyond phenomenal sometimes I go back to that soundtrack just to realize why HBO probably green let that show
Starting point is 00:03:10 because they was probably thinking to themselves if we cancel this man's opportunity to act and the idol he'll probably take away our soundtrack so uh anyways also shout out to rose again oh no actually i got a mixed up was it i'm looking at that Lily Rose Depp. That was Jenny from Black Pink I'm talking about. Whole time I had me in front of my face still got it messed up. Well, it was still a kid pop musician and they're not the same, obviously, because you know, as black people, we hate when it happens. Jenny and Rosie is completely different. I've covered Jenny a bunch of times, and obviously she's from Black Pink. Rose is also from Black Pink, so that's why I got them confused, you know? So, but Jenny was the one on
Starting point is 00:03:50 the weekend soundtrack, but everything I said about the soundtrack still stays the same. When I did cover Rose. I covered her track with Bruno Mars, which is APT, which essentially is the 25th most played track in the world right now, and it's specifically by Rose for her album. So Rose and Bruno Morris has a bona fide hit right now
Starting point is 00:04:11 because it's been on a truce for about 35 weeks, and it's still the 25th most played track in the world. So shout out to Bruno Morris for being able to leach off of everybody's culture. I mean, if it ain't sexy red, if it ain't Lady Gaga. All right, let me stop before the Bruno Morris fans get at me. But anyways, so when it comes to Rosie, she's obviously has success on her own. So now the collaboration between somebody who has the most popular track in the world and somebody who has currently the 25th most popular track, but not only, having the 25th most popular track isn't even the most
Starting point is 00:04:45 outstanding accomplishment by this track. It's the fact that it's been on the charts for 35 five weeks. Now y'all already know another you know certain someone in the in the hip hop community. I know that ain't who I think it is. Just dropped off the charts with his pedophile anthem, right? Going at my favorite rapper. And that was on the charts for a good amount of time. But it wasn't on the charts as long as APT. Why did I throw that in there? Because I love being petty. So anyways, Rosie and Bruno Morris have a bona fide classic and it's still on the charts. But it's definitely hanging on because there's some type of rule 25 or wherever, if you're on the charts for like 25 or more weeks and it drops below 25 i'm probably getting the
Starting point is 00:05:26 i'm getting the rule completely wrong anyways at a certain point in time if you drop below 25 it drops completely off of the charts to give new tracks a chance to be on the charts so it's definitely hanging on by a thread but it's still on the charts something that side seven can't say about his pedophile anthem so anyways um with the track by Alex warren on my mind safe to say that this track is also going to do phenomenal on the charts and when it comes to his album i do believe that it's definitely going to sell well as it seems like he has a lot of people in his corner and in behind the scenes to be able to put together marketing strategies for this album as as far as him being under atlantic recording corporation there's no um surprise that he has the number one track
Starting point is 00:06:15 in the world they definitely know what they're doing over there and of course it showed it again with uh ordinary still being the number one track in the world so um with that being said i didn't want to get into the overall music video there's a music video for this track um it's basically more of a split screen perspective of uh type effects and then the scenes include Alex of course and then he's appearing into a dollhouse and Rosie appears inside i've called a rosy rose I don't know which one I'm gonna go with but obviously one of them a split screen of both artists appearing to be neighbors in separate rooms. So if you wanted to know if there was a music video
Starting point is 00:06:54 for this track out now, title On My Mind, there is. And with that being said, Alex Warren is enjoying a phenomenal 2025. Having a top most play track in the world is no small feat, obviously. So pinpointing that and highlighting that throughout my coverage of Alex Warren
Starting point is 00:07:13 is very important for you to know because there's so much music being put out hourly, not even daily, hour, and they have the most consumed track in the world currently. It's a big feat. And now he's following that up with his track on my mind featuring Rose. So with that being said, click my link tree in my bio. Let me know on one of my social media's, are you going to be giving on my mind by Alex Warren and Rose a listen?
Starting point is 00:07:38 And of course, are you excited for Alex Warren's album? You'll be alright kid when it ends up releasing July 17th of this year.
