Starting point is 00:00:48 When you look at the trailblazers Especially with Mexican musicians That are also women This particular artist Is in the top ten as far as the biggest of all time As when you look at the trailblazers and legends. There's certain names that come to mind, especially for connoisseurs in that specific genre, as you have Gloria Trevi, Anna, Gabrielle, and of course Angela Aguilar. So you probably

Starting point is 00:01:13 heard those names before if you're a huge Latin connoisseur because when it comes to us covering hers specifically for this segment, just note the specific track, No Tehago Falta, currently is the 50 second most watched video in the world and I just want you to know that this specific track came out a while ago so when you look at it specifically 1996 is when the album of V Vincillas came out as not only are you looking at an artist that gain traction in the late 70s to not 80s but in the year of 2026 she is one of the most accolated artist if that's even the word she's she has the most accolades as far as in her specific field as her trophies are through the roof i mean four grimmies alone is already a huge deal

Starting point is 00:02:17 i mean seven number ones and multiple top tens on billboard hot latin songs ranking amongst the big the boast as far as billboards great and latin artists of all time and then last but definitely not least when you're the best or one of the best Mexican female best selling Mexican female artists of all time safe to say we have to put immense respect on your name as you know over here at notorious Mass Effect we cover the gaming and music IPs that notoriously affect the masses and safe to say Anna Gabrielle has done exactly that so if you don't know who this particular artist is just know that she basically got her uh she

Starting point is 00:03:03 recorded her first song in 1974 like i said in the uh late 70s the 1980s that's when she really started to gain more traction of course when it comes to her accolades she propelled into becoming one of of latin music's top female artists selling over 40 million records worldwide and of course you look at no te haggle falter specifically as from her 1996 album that just talked about as far as VVVVenCius, hopefully I'm pronouncing that right. And that not having major traction out of the gate, but of course, longevity is once again a factor for this particular legend as that is probably one of the more innate details when you're looking at who's going to be a legend in this game.

Starting point is 00:03:51 How long have they been around? And of course, are they still notoriously affecting the masses 10, 20, 30 years later? because in the music industry, usually on average, if you even get a hit track, it's a three to five year run. And then, of course, you go back to where you started as far as trying to get the audience attention again. But Gabrielle has been doing this for so long. She's been successful for many decades that when you look at longevity, I think a lot of musicians are paling in comparison to Anna or Anna,

Starting point is 00:04:28 Gabrielle. And some other things as far as this particular album that came out in 1996, it was under Sony. So of course, when you look at her latest offering, I believe, I believe Anna Gabriel's latest offering is Luna Azul that came out November 13th, 2025. And that's also under Sony. So she's a Sony artist. If you don't know, Sony Warner, UMG, the biggest conglomerates in the music industry. So she's definitely in great hands. Sony currently has 20% percent. 24% of the entire music market share. And I think their top performer right now, if I'm not mistaken, the top performer right now is Luke Holmes, as he just sold $55,000 with his album the way I am.

Starting point is 00:05:12 And then, of course, on the singles front, it's kind of hard to see on the singles front. But as far as the albums, that's the top performer as of right now. So I think putting a mens respect on artists who are out here notoriously affecting the masses, is definitely what this podcast is about. So I'm glad once again to jump into another genre and just give people who want to expand their palettes. I know the artist that they could maybe dive into

Starting point is 00:05:33 as far as listening to our artists that figured it out, especially in the Latin field and especially to the point where she's one of the top 10 most consumed women in the Latin music industry. So now, of course, when you look at other names off of this list, we're going to be crossing them off as well and diving into other artists because, number one, as far as the cultural icons

Starting point is 00:05:52 in the Latin women music industry, it's definitely free to caliph as far as what I saw in my research. Objectively speaking, Anna is definitely up there as well, putting up monumental numbers. And of course, when you look at RIAA certifications, especially when RIAA Latin is concerned, it's immense. There's a lot of numbers she's put up on the board. So with that being said, I do believe I'm trying to see if she's on tour right quick. I'm doing a little Mickey research right quick. Okay, so after my very professional Mickey research, safe to say, Anna is currently not on tour.

Starting point is 00:06:37 she's basically living off of her discography, which, you know, after, you know, after quite some time. I mean, it's about that time to be able to reap the fruits of your label, you know what I'm saying? So I'm not mad at her at all for having already a long history of consistent touring. So, of course, new dates could be announced, but as of right now, she's basically resetting and preparing for future projects or singles. So because, you know, she's still active. As I just said, her latest track is Luna Azul that came out of very.
