Analytic Dreamz: Notorious Mass Effect - "ARIANA GRANDE - FANTASIZE"

Starting point is 00:00:03 Even though hip hop is the by far and away outlier when it comes to leaks in the music industry, it still doesn't mean that these other musicians from other genres don't experience them as well. And for this particular track, Ariana Grande with her unreleased track, Fantasize, was leaked on TikTok without, of course, Ariana's consent, leading her to revamp the versions for her upcoming new album Eternal Sunshine. So why is a 2021, really 2023 type story being brought up back in 2024? Well, because of the rumor circulating that she's going to put this new revised version on her upcoming album, Eternal Sunshine. Because if you don't know, basically she's landed a role in Wicked making a lot of changes to herself her voice which she said verbatim basically she said she had to like quote deconstruct her pop star identity to land a role in Wicked erasing the familiar pop star image

Starting point is 00:01:26 And then she also went into how fantasize being leaked all the way back in June 2023 was very interesting as she basically came out and said that she will literally see them in jail. And there's a whole tweet that backs that up because I don't know what it is, But artists call out leakers on the internet and they act like that's going to do something. Like the people who's listening to Ariana Grande are going to stop because she is saying, oh, I'm going to see y'all in jail. Like leaks haven't been happening for the history of music. So, I mean, the reason that happens more often today is literally because these artists are lazy.

Starting point is 00:02:18 They collaborate remotely, share tracks. digitally and they wonder how all the music is getting leaked that they don't want to leak just use a hard drive which could well easier than said than done because you know of alternate schedules and me and trying to match up dates where you can be in the studio together but that's what you have your assistants come in to bring the hard drive put the music on the hard drive or the stems or whatever and send it back over to the to the artist you want to collaborate with but of course for the sake of time they do it remotely ending up getting hacked which is now I'm not can you know I'm not on the side of the hackers but I'm just giving you a workaround if they want to keep collaborating with other

Starting point is 00:03:03 artists sending other artists music remotely digitally then you run the risk of a hacker getting a hold of it in releasing it to the public now is that the reason I want to focus on this of course not as we always have to get into the more interesting I would say tidbits of this whole scenario. As for Ariana Grande, I did not notice this trend until it was brought to my attention. But if the reason why Ariana is basically in the news more times than not when it's negative for taking somebody's man, because I don't understand why Ariana Grande, who's such a pop star, music-wise, acting career-wise, because if you don't know, she had a Drake-type ascension to the music industry where she had a

Starting point is 00:03:54 notable role in a popular show and then went up to have a pop star-type music career. So in general, when you really get into the grand scheme of thing, she's like the woman version of Drake, but she's just not rapping. I've always said that Ariana Grande is probably the best I've ever heard sonically in life. like in life so it's like one of those where even when it comes to performing on the charts is is really comparable because obviously with all of her debut as far as pure sales on the billboard 200 charts i don't know first week sales but i know usually pure sales i mean with her album because i think i have the numbers hold up with my everything in 2014 she sold 169 000

Starting point is 00:04:52 in first week when it comes to pure sales so this may not be the total sales i'm just talking pure sales so this shows cases her fan base and how supportive they are because if you don't know we're in a modern age where nobody buys anything outright everybody streams so to buy it outright even if it's digitally on iTunes it is still a purchase right so anyways 2014 my everything she sold 169000 dangerous woman in 2016 sold 129000 first wait that mix up the I don't know if I mixed up the numbers My Everything which is the 2014 album

Starting point is 00:05:45 In 2019 Sold 116,000 first week Yours truly and I guess that would be 2023. I don't know if it's like a 10th anniversary or whatever because I don't see another one. Oh, I mean, I guess yours truly technically came out all the way back in 2013. That sold 109,000 first week. And then now we have Eternal Sunshine, which is currently clocked at about 47,000 first week.

Starting point is 00:06:15 And positions way back in 2020, 2020, 2021, so 42,000 first week. And that's just regarding pure sales. So of course, you can look at that number and think that Ariana Grande's career is going in decline. But I say all that to say this. Revisiting the point on Ariana being just addicted to taking people significant others brings up the fact that the self-perception as far as getting your own man is just not pleasing to Arianna. Grande and it's not even because of the news story where Ethan Slater I think was his name was reportedly going through turmoil and his marriage and basically allegedly was with Ariana Grande before he officially filed for divorce I think last year of July 26th

Starting point is 00:07:16 and these are not just baseless claims because his wife Jay Slater or whatever her last name is came out and said Ariana quote is not a girl's girl expressing her frustration with the situation basically calling out Ariana for making things and her family um or no like sacrificing her family I think that's how she put it for her personal gain or whatever so that wasn't the first time that was just one of those things where it came up everybody was killing Ariana Grande because one, why take another man's, well, another woman's man when he looks like that? But second, you know, the more mature take on it would be just not to take it in the first place. But then you get into the aspect of her always being in the midst of just taking somebody's significant other with one being notoriously.

Starting point is 00:08:15 One of my favorite rappers used to be my favorite rapper until, you know, he just went on hiatus. I blame Janae Aiko, but it's okay. Okay. Big Sean, when she interrupted quote unquote allegedly, Big Sean's engagement with Naya Rivera, with Rivera basically writing a tell all book and saying that her and Sean was arguing for five days. She came back, and this is all, you can look all this up that I'm saying. She came back after Big Sean and Nia Rivera was arguing for the. like five days big Sean said he didn't want to see her naya had keys to his house of course she was going to pull up so she pulled up and guess what she saw you guessed it ariano grande on the couch quote unquote listening to music and then another situation was the one and only

Starting point is 00:09:11 Pete Davidson yes the sniper himself was not really a sniper because technically sniper's supposed to be silent. So the shot, I would say shotgun, but that's a pause, you know what I'm saying? So anyways, um, Davidson and Pete, uh, but let me see. So basically, Ariana Grande implemented herself into Pete Davis's and, uh, what was Pete Davidson? I forget who he was with. Oh, Cassie David. Okay, so Pete Davidson in 2018 ended his relationship. with Cass Cazee, Cazid David, days before dating Ariana Grande. And so, what does this all bring up? Basically, the involvement of Ariana Grande and taking somebody significant other

Starting point is 00:10:07 has just happened too many times for there not to be some validity. There's a famous saying that where there's smoke, there's fire. And for Ariana Grande, it might be fire. but she always has to attach herself to somebody else's man with that fire you know what I'm saying so in general what I was thinking to myself because I was like man maybe the whole artist name is a whole double triple entendre and we never knew for all this time because technically you know if we're going off of what Kanye West said so we can't even pause it Ariana Grande is always out here attaching herself to something grande So anyways, with that being said, let's get back into the actual news. So fantasize is the reason why I'm even making this segment as apparently this unreleased track is something that a lot of people are looking forward to as it leaked to the public way back in 2023 and it's still making rounds to this day.

Starting point is 00:11:11 So with that, the revised, let me see, the revisions of the track will be included in her upcoming, the quote unquote revamped versions of the track will be on the new album so yeah and it also wicked movie is a musical that releases november 27th 2024 for anybody who wants to see the ariana grindy was actually once an actor which is it's crazy how they it just needs to be a whole documentary on the role the transition from acting to super star in the music industry because there's something there and i don't know what type of 360 deal that drake had to sign on digressy or what ariana grani had a sign on victorious but i think that there's a reason why all these actors have monumental superstar careers after their
