Now with this album having a lot of freaky tracks, let's just put it like that,
showcasing grandes or grandes, you know, versatility when it comes to singing,
which I still personally believe she's the best singer I've ever heard.
So with that being said, with her remixing and paying Amish to the reimagined version
of Brandy and Monica's The Boy Is Mine, classic back in 1998,
I think that she was the best one to do it justice because,
the way she can sing so with that being said i have to give my review of the album because yes i have
listened to it is one of those things where it's a super short album but honestly while i was putting
the notes together to cover the new music that dropped i listened to it in this entirety and it wasn't
even one of those where i had to skip at the end like it was so short this might as well just been an
an EP and I have a conspiracy theory that her and young boy being under universe and music group led them to a quota where they had to deliver a project because why in the world are they both delivering the same track or the same project March 8th both tracks are 13 songs both tracks are 35 minutes in length so young boy's output is a little bit more but with ariana grande is not as much so I think Ariana's
heart is not really in music currently to where she's just fulfilling a quota that she's
contractually obligated and for young boy I think it just shows the minimum that you can do
to have something counted as a project for UMG because I don't even think young boy wanted
to put out the album so that's why I compared the two artists because they're under the same major
label putting out a similar output which is which really never happened
with a pop and rap artist.
I usually if the time,
usually the length of a project is vastly different.
And if it's not vastly different,
then the tracks are vastly different.
But to have both 13 tracks, both 35 minutes,
at some point, somebody has to call this out.
Like, this has to be the bare minimum to fulfill a quota.
But with that being said,
I think the project is pretty solid.
My favorite track is the,
toxic one obviously the boy is mine I think that track you know just forget it
being the homage to Brandy and Monica it's just a great callback because if you
don't know Ariana has been called a home wrecker boyfriend stealer and at this point
time I mean a divorce enthusiast because all of these significant others that
she's taking has recently just been a whole full-blown
marriages but has that stopped
Ariana of course not and obviously
there's no way to prove it you know what I mean but
so many reports from dating back to like
2014 or was it 20
yeah 2013
who was the Big Sean stuff yeah 2014
all the way back then when you know when Big Sean was with
Naya Rivera and then she basically came out
and said that her and Big Sean was going through like
some type of turmoil for like four to five days
days, Bixion said he didn't want to see her.
She was already in town.
So of course she was going to go see her and guess who she saw.
Ariana on the couch listening to the music.
Now this is Naya Rivera herself saying this.
Fast forward all the way to 2023, I believe.
See where I can find this.
Yeah.
Lily, Lily Jay divorced Ethan Slater.
And basically it was in some type of interview.
You could look this stuff up now.
I'm saying.
Lily J said in an interview that Ariana Grande is quote, not a girl's girl.
And then went on to say that hopefully Ariana in the relationship was worth the demise of their family.
Like, there's the stuff you can look up.
So it's not like I'm just making this stuff up and putting, you know, egregious statements on Ariana.
but she's been attached to too many situations in this time span to not have some type of eyebrows raising moment so
with that being said obviously the album is heat i think the whole versatility from ariana
singing i think she can do it in her sleep so i'm still sticking to my point that this is just a
fulfillment of a UMG quota because if you don't know these are
labels still want a market share you know they want a certain percentage as far as points
and the overall market share when you're competing with other major labels like sony warner
so with ariana dropping that i'll definitely help out because if you don't think she's going to put up
numbers i mean i'm looking at the numbers right now and i don't want to i don't want to jump the gun
with projections but it seems like she's going to be selling a lot like to take i mean she didn't take
the biggest of breaks because 22 to 2024 that's not the biggest break
but Ariana's first week back in 2022 had like a 400 plus first week first week sales I believe back in 2020
are on a had 174,000 so I would say it'll be between the 200 my prediction because of the market
I would say it would be between the 200 to 300,000 range that's a huge gap let me I'm just going to say 250 250 to 300
range as far as first week sales and that's thousand so 250 to 300,000 first week sales
just judging off of all of her other albums because her fan base is pretty supportive
yeah because it seems like it's still going up and so yeah and plus her last album with
438,000 i don't even think that's feasible in today's age i mean maybe she could put up around 400
I'm not trying to doubt her or anything
But I think positions have some type of
Hit track off of it
Yeah wasn't it the 69 track
Yeah that track went crazy I believe
People was
Are you're not a freaky girl man
I ain't gonna lie to you
No wonder she out here taking people's man
So anyways
With that being said
Um
Yeah I would say this album would sell around
300 first week
Because it doesn't have their hit single
Like positions there back in 20
21 so what else that was basically it um the album she says she plans to celebrate the release
with a performance on saturday night live saturday hmm okay and she says her most sophisticated
project like whenever you use words like sophisticated most elegant like you just turn it in
like usually artists just come out say this is their best project like usually be the all you
about latest work is my best work you know sophisticated elegant you know all these words
to describe something that you really even care for because i think she's acting right now
obviously she acted before she got into the music industry but i think she wants to go back to acting
i mean after putting up numbers like she did with positions it's going to be hard to top that
but we'll see you know only the future will tell but i don't think no track is out here performing
like the 69 track which to this day is still crazy but anyways uh click my link tree in my bio let me know
on one of my social medias what do you think about ariana grande and her new album out on all ds
currently titled eternal sunshine and if you've already listened to the entire project
because it's super short which is your favorite track currently
