Talking about one of the more talented people in the entertainment industry from the simple fact that I don't know what it is, but of course, actors either under Disney, Nickelodeon, it wasn't Nickelodeon?
I believe so because victorious, all those was under Nickelodeon, I believe.
Maybe I got that wrong.
Anyways, Disney, of course, Nickelodeon, some type of 360 deal.
would have been implemented if I was the owner of a lot of these TV shows.
And the reason why I say that is because you have Demi Lovato,
the Jonas Brothers, and this is off the top of my head.
Obviously, I'm going to miss some people.
Demi Lovato, Jonas Brothers, Hannah Montana, Ariana Grande,
Justin Bieber, Kiki Palmer.
Who else?
I could keep going.
I'm probably missing some like monumental stars.
Y'all get on a say.
I think one direction even, if you was an actor and blew up after the fact, I'm not going to lie,
I would have had a 360 deal in place because I think it's something to the point where
actors have a higher percentage of making it as a musician.
Now, I'm not just saying that because I'm a huge Drake fan.
Everybody knows that Drake came from DeGrassey, right?
but when you listen to Jay Prince and his son literally finding Drake handing him to
Little Wayne it gets you confused on how this organic rise to fame happen when there was so many
hands that benefited from him being successful right so when it comes to Ariana Grande in
overall victorious and even to the point where this is going to be a deep cut for some but
those who follow R&B already know I'm going with this.
Leon Thomas.
Y'all look up Leon Thomas
and the overall album
that's being considered in the cult fan base of R&B
album of the year when it comes to R&B, of course.
Y'all look at what show he was from.
Victorious.
So I'm like, there has to be something
with these actors getting on
as far as musically
and having certain connections
that may not be applicable to you.
if you didn't come up a certain system.
That's all I'm saying.
I ain't saying nothing as far as Illuminati.
I'm just saying it's very interesting
how all the superstar actors end up to go on
to be superstar musicians.
Now, with that being said,
I'm definitely not sliding Ariana Grande
in the, well, in the slightest.
Because, of course, I call Ariana one of the greatest voices ever
of all time.
Like, out of all the voices on planet Earth,
she probably has the best as far as singing um so don't know how much of a more like i don't know a higher
compliment i could give other than that right talent level is through the roof it's almost like
i'd probably say givion the weekend on the male side of things as far as vocally and being
able to perform and then on the female side of things i would probably say Ariana and then
I don't know, you have to go with Beyonce, huh?
Yeah, probably Beyonce.
That's probably the two, as far as on the,
I'm not trying to cancel.
As far as on one side,
I would say the weekend and Givion.
And as far as the other side,
I'll probably say Ariana and Beyonce,
as far as the greatest voices we've ever heard
in music history.
I know some people probably bring up MJ, Adele,
But hey, I just feel like those people have the greatest range in the music industry.
Anyways, why don't I say that?
Oh, yeah, because she's very talented.
So I don't want to take away from that.
I'm just saying there's a thing to be explored on how these actors go on to have superstar-like success in the music industry.
So with that being said, Ariana is back again with a track titled Popular.
And this is from a movie.
So the movie is titled The Wizard and I.
I think that's what's called.
I actually don't know.
Let me see.
So this movie is titled Wicked.
So it's not The Wizard and I?
I totally lied.
It's titled Wicked.
And it's part one.
Both parts are, what in the world?
I don't understand none of this that's in front of my screen right now.
I ain't going to lie to you.
Okay, so basically,
Ariana has a track title popular.
I think that's correct, right?
But it's Cynthia's and Revo's version of the Wizard and I
that was released November 13, 2024.
I don't even know what that means,
so I'm just going to continue.
And then both songs are part of John M. Chu's Wicked
Part 1 movie adaption of the famous Broadway musical.
popular was originally performed by Kristen Chin-Naweth in 2003.
Okay.
Ah, okay, so it was a two-part.
It's a two-part, a two-part movie makes no sense.
Is it a TV show or not?
So, Wicked Part 1, November 22nd, 2024.
And then Wicked Part 2nd, 2014.
and then Wicked Part 2, November 26, 2025.
Oh, 2025.
Okay, I thought it was like the same year.
I'm tripping.
That's how you know, I can't read.
I was so confused.
I was like, there's no way you're putting out two movies in the span of two weeks.
So, yeah, they're doing like a Spider-Verse type of release date where, um, we all know.
The Spider-Verves and there across the Spider-Verse came out like years apart.
So, yeah, this was coming out one year apart.
And of course, Ariana Grande was casted as,
Glenda and then her co-star Cynthia Arevo was casted as bro what is that El Faba El Faba I think that's how you said
hopefully I said it right um with that being said um the track popular obviously is why we're even
discussing this because I could care less about the movie I'm not going to lie to you it's not my cup of tea
I was watching it.
I was like, is this Alice in Wonderland or the ripoff version?
I don't know what this is.
Right?
I'm not trying to disrespect it.
I'm ignorant.
So when it comes to my take on this movie, you should not hold it to high regard
because I just don't know too much about the movie.
So anyways, getting back into what I do know about, of course, is music.
As when I tell you that Ariana is just one of the more talented musicians I've ever heard
and I'm being dead serious when it comes to any other voice.
voice and music. So
Ariana being top
two, not two, and
also putting out
this album that was
very pivotal as far as the
musical landscape as
Eternal Sunshine,
which has a bunch of versions
on DSPs currently. There's a slightly
deluxe and also live
version, and then there's just a slightly
deluxe version. And then there's
the regular version. Okay, well, hey,
do that what you will, right?
So anyways, this album debut number one, having 227,000 weekly units first week.
That's, well, no, 227,000 units when it came to, when it comes to first week sales.
And of course, she topped the charts internationally as, you know, she's a huge superstar at this point.
And then, of course, yes, and, and then the we can't be friends.
in parentheses wait for your love both hit number one on billboard hot 100 basically showcasing that
ariana is just overall dominant on a musical front and then in the entertainment front as people seem
to be going out to watch to watch this movie because even though i don't know too much about the
movie field right i'm pretty ignorant when it comes to that i do recognize when marketing strategies
are actually working as
Wicked has been talked about
even when people are on the fence
of going to see the movie.
So that's how you know that this has been hitting
like everywhere it needs to be
because other movies that are,
I think way more intriguing.
Like the Transformers movie, I still haven't seen that.
And I didn't really see too much,
too many commercials for that actual movie.
It like came and went.
So anyways, for this one,
it seems like the marketing strategy
for this particular movie is pretty good.
And as far as the Ariana
the interview she always does well and knows and of course additionally when it coming back to music
eternal sunshine had about seven tracks on the hot 100 and the track ordinary things was actually on there
as well which featured her grandmother that's pretty uh interesting making her grandmother the
oldest person to appear on the chart at 98 that's that's an interesting stat right there
is definitely a snap effect.
But hey, now you know, right?
So Ariana had a lot of her fan base.
It's not like she weaponized them,
but a lot of her fans came at the Grammys
for the simple fact that Ariana was not nominated
in the major categories.
And they basically was expressing disappointment
over the perceived snubs
because Eternal Sunshine did not receive nominations
in the big four categories.
Like, in the big four, for those who don't know.
It's album of the year, record of the year,
song of the year,
and best new artists of the year.
Wait, what?
How do you even win best new artists as Ariana?
Anyways, that's the big four, right?
Obviously, one of those.
She's automatically excluded.
But the album,
Eternal Sunshine,
was nominated for Best Vocal album.
So, of course,
shameless plug.
If you type in Grammy's analytic dreams
on whatever platform you use to listen to podcasts on.
I cover the Grammys extensively.
And let me just tell you, I had a lot to say about Ariana's album.
I do not think it was the best, but I think it was still solid as far as the offering.
Like, as far as Ariana, I put her in the same lane as like a Drake.
Album is always solid and serviceable.
It's sometimes top tier, but it's never just a straight out, straight up bad album.
But as far as 2024, when you have albums like the Tortured Poets Department, which to this day, I'll still have like several tracks off of the album I'll listen to, like I actually listen to from Taylor Swift.
And then the Billy Elish album.
And then, of course, you have Sabrina Carpenter.
I mean, it's just a lot of competition for Eternal Sunshine to even like breakthrough like that.
So makes sense why I wasn't as nominated as her previous bodies of work.
But the standout, I think, off of the album.
definitely the boy is mine which I think is why I ended up getting a remix from brandy
and monica because there was also a lot of other people's favorites as far as the analytics show it
being one of the more successful tracks off of the album as it was also nominated by the grammies
for a best pop duo slash group performance and then yes and with the question mark was nominated for
best dance pop recording so that's why I say it's the Drake effect even though it wasn't her strongest album
she still has a lot of nominations to go along with this body of work.
So with that being said, her album is, oh, no, not her album, sorry.
Her movie is out now.
Okay, so part one is out now because it just released November 22nd, 2024, and part
two comes out November 26, 2025.
And then, of course, when it comes to Ariana Grande, being one of the greatest, if not the greatest
voice ever in music click my link to my bio let me know in one of my social media's what do you
think about ariana's track for the movie soundtrack for the wicked and also do you think that she
what would you rank her as far as the hierarchy when it comes to the greatest voices ever in music
