Starting point is 00:00:03 You know, upon face value, I would have been canceled because I looked at Artemis and I was like, well, this is a nice artist putting up numbers. Like she is really doing some big things out here, right? And then upon further review, because I was having a hard time finding her socials. I was like, where in the world can I find this artist socials? So I was looking and things of that nature and come to find out I had it the whole time. But of course with the whole 2024, I would have already been canceled because this is a whole guy. This is a whole dude. I thought it was a girl from the whole time simply for the fact that one of his biggest singles has a girl on the cover.

Starting point is 00:00:52 So cancel me. Anyways, so after being canceled just like five seconds ago, we're getting into Artemis and basically the overview of this particular. artists as Taylor Swift of course is dominating the charts I mean as far as the projections she's projected to take most of the slots in the top 100 so the ones that are in the slots the slots right after the top 15 I believe it's or is a would be number one if it wasn't for Taylor Swift being in the way and one of those specific artists is of course we have Benson Boone. I'm trying to find the other one. Yeah, okay. So first, after the first

Starting point is 00:01:40 non-slots were taken up by Taylor Swift, because you know, she's the biggest by far in the music industry. Then we have, I like the way you kiss me by Artemis. So that is currently projected to be at number 10. Currently, as far as the charts, this billboard

Starting point is 00:01:56 is concerned, we're looking at 38, which peak, talking about, I like the way you kiss me. And then that track was peak, peak the number 12, been on the charts for about five weeks so as you can tell this is an this is an artist that's having one of the better performers uh performances on the track on the charts i can't talk so with that being said he started all the way back and oh no he was born in 1999 debuted with high for you in november

Starting point is 00:02:32 2020 and then followed up with the track if you think I'm pretty which gained viral popularity amongst the masses as far as this specific track that's put him on even a bigger pedestal because this in my opinion is most likely his best performing track of all time and when you've been putting out music since 2020 you can probably come to realize that even though it wasn't the longest 10 year before you received a hit track, it was still, it was still some type of groundwork being set as in the UK, as far as performance wise, is higher than some of the other places that you would think it would blow up in as far as Austria, Germany, and Switzerland. So for all my Artemis fans I hear, you'll probably understand what I'm saying as with this song,

Starting point is 00:03:32 debuting as such a high position, basically peaking at number 12, for it to have higher charting positions in other countries other than his own, I would say, is a very international type of appeal when it comes to the masses. So despite people in the United States not knowing who in the world is Artemis, we, well I will still acknowledge certain performers on the charts that probably have some type of ramifications when it comes to the overall genres because everybody loves to talk about dominance and how Taylor Swift, Beyonce, they're the best. But if you look at the actual numbers,

Starting point is 00:04:18 Artemis is putting up numbers like a Taylor Swift with one specific track, not in totality, of course, not, let's not be disrespectful. Like as far as, let's just compare it to sports. if somebody puts up 40 points one game on the same day that lebron puts up 40 points that specific game by that random athlete is comparable to lebron's stats for that specific day but if we're talking about the whole season of course it's not even close so that's how i'll put it artemus has put up monumental numbers with this specific track i like the way you kiss me that's in the same realm of a taylor swift specific track right so with that being said whenever the specific tracks from taylor swift starts to drop off because right now it seems like fortnight by post malone and taylor swift is the biggest hit from her album so that will probably stay at number one then we have down bad the torture poets department so long london

Starting point is 00:05:23 i can do it with a broken heart my boy only breaks his favorite tours but daddy i love him florida what's afraid of little old me after all those nine slots in the top 10 tracks as far as all the songs in the world is considered being taken up by taylor swift then we have artemus i like the way you kiss me so as far as performing artemus needs to have some type of recognition which is why i'm making this segment in the first place as putting up these numbers if they was easy everybody would do it and of course everybody is putting out music and they've came to realize quickly it is not easy to have that type of dominance on the charts like Artemis is currently displaying. So, of course, after getting canceled, I try to come back in the same segment and give you

Starting point is 00:06:11 a perception into Artemis's rise to fame and basically how he is competing with a Taylor Swift, but not at the same output level, if that makes sense.
