Starting point is 00:00:03 When it comes to Artemis and his releasing of music, let's just say Southbound is the latest, and he's also going on tour. So if you don't know, Artemis is going on tour, the American tour or the America's tour, right? Starting technically March 22nd, a Lala Palusa, Lala Paloosa in Argentina, right? And then you have Lollapalooza in Chile, Santiago. that's happening in March 23rd and it's going all the way until June 20th where the latest date or the last day I see
Starting point is 00:00:42 is First Avenue in Minneapolis Minnesota right so that's a big deal as he's going on tour and once again it's starting in Argentina March 22nd and it's ending June 20th in Minneapolis Minnesota he's stopping in Kansas City
Starting point is 00:01:00 St. Louis, Cincinnati Columbus Pittsburgh Philadelphia y'all get the point right he's going to be in USA for majority of his tour all right so the reason why I'm covering Artemis is because of his track southbound slash test drive now when it comes to those particular tracks being out on DSPs it seems like southbound has received a lot more love and especially via TikTok right I think when it comes to southbound a lot of people are gravitating towards the track on TikTok because of his catchy nature and when it
Starting point is 00:01:33 comes to the theme of escape and self-reflection it's a lot of people on tic-tok you know relating to the song let's just put it like that right so when it comes to him also being featured in a netflix series dark horizons that's already out right um that's also a huge deal as far as artemus being one of those type of musicians to where now not only you featured in certain acting debuts, right, in certain films as far, we're not acting debuts, but when you're featured in films musically, people start to resonate what's your music a little different, right? It's almost like giving an artist a bigger platform to engage with the masses through a different art form. So now you're listening to an artist through a TV show, through a movie, and
Starting point is 00:02:27 that TV or movie is already making you feel a certain way, and then the music comes on top of that, you're forever attaching if this is your introduction to the artist you're always attaching that music to that specific moment and feeling that that movie a tv show made you feel right so i think that's a very interesting way of being introduced to people but of course artemus is no slouch himself as his music when it comes to the masses he has 18.1 million monthly listeners and that's just spotify right so overall you already know that he has a lot of impact when it comes to the masses but more specifically in uk lately uh march 14 2025 he peaked at the uk singles charts as far as at number four and actually
Starting point is 00:03:18 you know not to my own horn or something you know hey notorious mass effect may have may not been the second most or the number two most listened to podcasts in the ukest so shout out to the UK for supporting your boy. I ain't a lot to you. But then, you know what I'm saying? I was like, damn, look at the state of hip hop. Like, what's going on? So, you know, I really appreciate people supporting things that nature. But, you know, I had to, had to throw that out there because, you know, he's rising on the UK charts and I am too.
Starting point is 00:03:44 Ain't that, anyways. All right. So in all seriousness, Artemis is a phenomenal artist. His music is attaching itself to films such as Dark Horizons is out now on Netflix, right? and that's going to obviously encapivate the masses and bring in a new audience that wasn't even aware of his music
Starting point is 00:04:07 because sometimes when you listen to a TV show and movie, when you hear the music and makes you go to the actual soundtrack and now you have a new fan. So, with that being said, this man has been going crazy with Southbound. I mean, I guess his other track test drive, you know, pun intended,
Starting point is 00:04:26 it didn't test well. So, you know, I'm not saying it was bad. I'm just saying it in tests as well. Southbound. Southbound is going insane on digital platforms, on TikTok, on Netflix. The culmination of all this marketing promotion is insane to say the least. So with that being said, click my link tree in my bio. Let me know one of my social medias.
Starting point is 00:04:43 What do you think about Artemis track Southbound? And what do you think about test drive? And ultimately, have you, were you interested in dark horizons? And will you be checking that? I'm trying to find the series. Will you be checking out Dark Horizon on Netflix just to listen to this track, Southbound?
