Baby, I just swam this.
I just swam- Oh, we're recording on the...
You guys.
Yo, why ain't nobody?
See, that's the problem.
Hold on man, y'all tripping, bro.
See, we got something to get into.
But then, you know what I'm saying?
I was like, damn, look at the state of hip-hop, like what's going on?
Now, of course, ladies and gentlemen, you already know that I call drill the worst sub-genre
and music history.
I know that ain't who I think it is.
So when it comes to me,
to me having immense praise for this particular artist, safe to say he does unfortunately come
from the drill subgenre.
But then you know what's going on?
And of course I keep it eight more than 92 as Baby Chief do it.
It's the first time we've ever covered him on notorious mass effect.
But of course, notorious mass effect is covering the biggest gaming and music IPs to notoriously
affect the masses.
And safe to say, objectively speaking, that is what Baby Chief is doing.
Geto Love Story is currently the 66 most played track in the world.
But then hold up, ladies and gentlemen, because I take my job seriously, you know what
mean?
That's why you should rate this five stars.
You know, come on, Drusky.
I mean, you should definitely give me, you know, you definitely give me praise, but also
rate this five stars.
As of course, with my future chart analytics slated for August 1st, baby chief do it.
It's slated to rise 17 slots to the 49th most.
play track in the world.
And once again, that's analytics slated for August 1st, 2026.
So that only means that this particular track is, objectively speaking, one of the
summer, one of the songs of the summer.
And that is, of course, one of the greatest things you can have as the up-and-coming
artists like Baby Chief Do it.
Because if you don't know, one of his catapults as far as in his music career is definitely
the 2025
XXL
freshman as if you don't know
when it came to that class
of course he was the youngest in class
because I don't know
how in the world
that
an 18 year old
well currently
back then he was
17
he put out a track
when he was 16
titled pancakes
in drugs
I kid you not
I know that ain't who I think of it is
now of course when it came to that particular track
that was one of his breakout tracks
now I know the
congregation was probably saying to themselves.
I know that ain't who I think it is.
You telling me this 16 year old is talking about pancakes and drugs?
What type of drugs is he taking at 16?
All right, my fault.
Anyways. So with that being said, pancakes and drugs was one of his breakout hits in
2024. And then six times a day, six times two day was another one of his breakout
tracks in 2024. Of course, I don't want to know what he was doing six times today.
I just gonna let that title because of course I'm not the biggest connoisseur of baby
Cheap do it but this is my favorite song as far as the ghetto love story simply for the subject matter
because a drill rapper coming from Chicago you're influenced by the devil's music man somebody got to say it
drill in Chicago ultimately is the worst subgenre of music we've ever had in the here
history of musical creation, right? So when it comes to me enjoying ghetto love story coming from a
drill rapper specifically from Chicago, I think it's immaculate. I kid you not. And I'm going to keep
hammering home that point because of course baby chief do it does have particular songs where he
talks about non-law abiding activities, right? But when it comes to the when it comes to the ghetto love
story subject matter. It's a street romance, of course, but I always love the love aspect in particular
tracks. So him coming from a street perspective talking about his significant other that may or may not
have another significant other that's about that street life, right? I think that's an entirely
entertaining premise for a track. And that's exactly what he does with ghetto love story, which is why
I believe the track is doing so well on the charts.
Because of course, just because you sell a lot does not mean you make the greatest,
the highest quality.
And just because you don't sell,
does not mean you make just abysmal garbage, right?
The two do not correlate.
But when it comes to baby chief do it,
I think this is the first time we've ever seen a drill rapper coming from Chicago
have a breakout hit for a subject matter that he usually does not expound upon
as far as being from Chicago in the drill sub-geny.
this reminds me of when little dirk blew up with his particular track with j cole i forget what that
track was called but i loved how much engagement he was getting specifically from a positive type of
outlook because look at him now right you know what i'm saying like look at him now nah because sometimes
people say that me calling the you know the drill subgenre the worst musical genre ever is harsh right until you
realize all the leaders in that genre is either dead or in prison, right? So what that being said?
With Baby Chief do it and his tri-getto love story, I love how this is getting so much engagement.
I already know that this is going to catapult his career even more because he already catapulted
his career with the 2025 double XL freshman freestyle, right? He already was Billboard Hip-Hop Rookie
of the Month as far as September 2025. He's already had gold singles as far as Went West and the Viper.
And you know what those subject matters was about.
But of course, I think his viral live performances, for example, the Summer Smash performance where he had 13 million plus views, his festival slides as far as the rolling loud 2025 performance.
I think his live performance ability is above a lot of his peers.
And for that, I have to give him all the kudos in the world.
Because even though he's just a wee little lad, right?
I mean, he's only 18 years old.
He's still out here making a notorious massive fake
and putting on a professional out out, out, uh,
out, uh, out, uh, when ever he's live.
As his live performance, I feel like it was,
it was some type of, uh, yeah, his, his,
from the block live performance surpassed 1.9 million views.
Of course, it was driving the song's popularity as far as ghetto love story.
But aside from that, that is adding on to the fact that he shuts down summer,
uh, summer smash.
He shuts down rolling.
loud. He is very much a very talented live performer. And of course, as far as from a personality
aspect, I do like how he comes across in his interviews and things of that nature. I'm not saying
that he comes across like mature for his age. But as far as somebody in the drill subgenre coming
from Chicago, he surprised me on the amount of depth he had. So I think that's a positive. And
Of course, I think he will have longevity in his career because this is not the first time he's notoriously affecting the masses with music.
Now, of course, what's next for Baby Chief Do It?
Well, ladies and gentlemen, I will let you know that he just put out an album June 12th that's titled Rise Against My Broken Oz, which is abbreviation.
So basically, the album title is Rambo.
I want to let you know that when it comes to that particular album, we do not know.
the first week sales as I believe that when it comes to his sales in the first week
is not up to part to what you would think a musical superstar or a musical star would
look like I think his album analytics speaking uh analytically speaking his album first week sales
is not impressive at all but he could be falling in the ice spice lane as far as having singles
outlasts his albums as far as the podcast
popularity. Ice Spice's last hit, I think, was the SpongeBob record. Which one was that?
Of course, her and Lotto had a Gat or whatever, but that ain't going anywhere.
She had a SpongeBob hit that was, I'll say hit, you know, it wasn't like a smash, but it was definitely a hit.
But anyways, I think Baby Cheap Do It is falling in that lane of having successful singles on the charts via TikTok, via marketing strategies.
People really love him on social medias. But when it comes to album appeal,
it's not that impressive.
So even though people are seemingly enjoying his albums as far as animals only,
which was a mixtape in 2024,
as far as Zoo Life,
that was the album in 2025,
as far as the album that he currently has,
as far as Rise Against My Broken Oz,
which is titled Rambo,
a lot of people are saying that as far as the masses,
because I haven't heard it, right?
As far as the masses talking about their collective opinion,
I've heard more positive than negative over the album.
But when it comes to engagement, that's why I say all the time just because you sell a lot.
Does not mean you make the highest quality.
And just because you don't sell, does not mean you make abysmal garbage.
Right.
With Baby Chief do it, I think when it comes to engagement, people will rather flock towards his singles that are successful on the charts rather than going to listen for an entire body of work from an 18 year old.
I mean, from a musical artist, right?
Because Bow Wow did it, right?
You know, Bow Wow was a young little kid putting out albums and singles that went crazy to the masses.
I'm not comparing Baby Chief Do It to Bow Wow.
I'm just talking about the age perspective as far as him still being able to
notoriously affect the masses even though he's so young.
And I think Bow Wow would be a great mentor for him as far as if you wanted to transition
into other things as far as acting and things of that nature.
But with that being said, I'm trying to see.
First time I cover Baby Chief Doer, you know, I think I'm doing a pretty good job, you know.
Trying to give this little kid respect, you know.
I don't know what his kids' parents are at, but hey, guess what?
I guess as right now, he's definitely standing 10 toes by himself.
So with that being said, click my link to you in my bio to follow me on my social medias.
And of course, if you're over at Spotify, and if you're a Baby Chief Do It fan,
what's your favorite song from Baby Chief Do It and why?
