So apparently, Bad Bunny and Gorillas collab was first leaked online before it officially came out on DSPs.
Now, this is titled Tormenta, which I'm probably horribly mispronouncing, which I apologize for it.
You know what I mean?
But at the end of the day, I'm not the best at these Spanish titles or just Spanish words in general because, you know, I speak English.
so it's hard to sometimes translate this.
But when you're looking at this,
there's a reason why I'm covering this track.
And it's not because no disrespect to gorillas,
but it's the reason why I'm covering this track at all.
And it's because Bad Bunny at this point
may have a case for being the most popular
and the most earning rapper,
or not even rapper, artists in the world.
As you can see right here, the article I have pulled up,
Bad Bunny is amongst the Forbes top 10 highest paid entertainers.
And of course, that was for 2022.
But if you know anything about the music industry,
you use your past, your most recent performances
to change your price for the better going forward.
Basically, if you're an up-and-coming artist,
there's a reason why Ice Spice changed her prices
for certain venues right after she.
she had that hit, um, much.
But before much, she was doing shows for considerably less than she is now.
So your latest performance and booking price dictates what your future booking prices is going to be.
It's kind of like when I think Fat Joe, was it Fat Joe, said,
yesterday's price is not today's price.
think of inflation.
Whenever you get to a certain point where it's more of a necessity
than it used to be,
you can put the price at whatever you want, right?
Because, I mean, everybody would be completely irate
if gas was like $10, you know what I mean, a gallon, right?
But would they have to buy it?
Yes, because what you're going to do?
walk to work. I mean, some people may say
they start walking to work, but you get what I'm saying.
Bad Bunny at this point is one of the most
profitable artists in the world, which makes me
wonder if he's one of the most popular artists in the world.
So that's kind of what I wanted to get into.
Just not like a Bad Bunny love fest, because you know,
that's a pause. But at the end of day,
Bad Bunny is up with the likes of Taylor Swift.
Some of the other people, like,
I wonder if they have the whole list on here.
Tyler Perry at number three.
Okay, well, I should show you what type of list this is.
Let me see.
Let me read this whole thing.
So basically, you have Bad Bunny, not at number 10, but you have Bad Bunny of Taylor Swift.
Taylor Swift is the only woman entertainer to make the 2022 list.
But she's made a six-tallon before, so, you know.
But Bad Bunny made his first appearance, which I'm saying, that's why he's like the hottest
artist right now because he's just on the rise.
So this is his first appearance on this list.
and he's estimated to make an earning of 88 million.
And of course, a large portion that came from his tracks El Tumino and his tour, which Del Mundo, I think that's how you call it.
But anyways, that's basically one of the highest grossing tours ever.
Just look at the bad bunny breaks the record for the amount of money made and one month by touring artists.
It's kind of one of them ESPN type stats, but nonetheless, Bad Bunny is out here breaking records when it comes to revenue sales and popularity.
So that's why I'm even covering this track, but if you want to listen to the track in its entirety, just type in Tormenta, which is T-O-R-M-E-N-T-A, and it's Bad Bunny and Gorillas collab.
And click my link to your bio.
Let me know in one of my social medias.
Do you think that track is fire or trash?
But more importantly, do you think that Bad Bunny is the most popular artist in the world right now?
