Starting point is 00:00:00 You know, for somebody who made burden of proof, the show is a whole lot of proof showcasing that this man is a burden in himself. Because imagine a major label trying to recoup off of 20,000 first week sales. Now, of course, not to put Empire in a specific position or an uncomfortable position, but the way you title your projects can and will be used against you. and the court of public opinion. So with that being said, Bidney the Butcher is back again with the new album titled Everybody Can't Go,
Starting point is 00:00:38 which if you think about it, it's ironic because I think the album title is really his like automated response to people asking why does he have such bad album sales and can't reach the top 100 in Billboard. So with that being said, obviously everybody can't go. and Benny the butcher is one of them, which is why he titled this album that.
Starting point is 00:01:00 You know, he has a lot of respect in the industry because he has a lot of Little Wayne, Snoop Dog, Jada Kiss, all on his album is it going to equivalent to album sales? Of course not. But the reason why I'm pointing this out is simply for the fact that when you start to describe your music as you're the best at a certain topic, when obviously push your T's,
Starting point is 00:01:27 still exists, is still alive to this day. But for a person like Benny to talk about how he's the Pyrex Whipper or the go-to for a Coke rap or just one of those people who is one of the more prominent rappers in the music game as he honestly grows as a businessman, I think it's hard to take him serious because with the lack of sales for all of his tracks and for him going to every single outlet you could possibly imagine, it does not equal success because people just don't believe him. So at this point, I think with Benny the Butcher, and of course being part of the Grizzleda and his debut album with Def Jam and everything in that nature, personally, I just don't like
Starting point is 00:02:17 when people come out and they try to say that they're the best at a specific thing, when you're not even close. Like maybe if he was top three, top four, but as far as the top three and just that specific category and just that topic, I don't even think he's close because, I mean, literally one of the greatest
Starting point is 00:02:37 rappers of all time, you could say, has a lot of bars in that specific topic. And you definitely don't rap better than Jay-Z. So I've already named two right there, and that was just off the top. So Jay-Z push a T, I mean, everybody can't go. It's a very
Starting point is 00:02:53 interesting album title for somebody who's still trying to achieve the success that he claims that he's at so with that being said obviously benny the butcher put out a new album hopefully y'all listen to it because not many people listen to his last album tana what was his last album uh title obviously a lot of people didn't listen to his last album tana talk four which sold 20 000 first week and they didn't even are barely charted in the top 20 of just the albums and with that being said
Starting point is 00:03:31 obviously a lot of people are going to come at it from the standpoint of he's on Empire and now he's under a subdivision of UMG which is exclusive license to Def Jam but still it's like just because you're the highest charting in your group
Starting point is 00:03:46 it does not mean that you're competing with some of the top people in the game And so that's the only reason I point that out because I think people need a slow progression as far as like being humble and just having certain perspective outside of themselves. And I think for Benny, the way that he's produced these tracks and this upcoming album, it was a very interesting rollout that really contradicts a lot of things that he says. So with that being said, we'll obviously see where every. Everybody can't go ends up on the charts. But from a quality standpoint, I'm not really too hesitant on saying that it will probably be above average because he's a great rapper.
Starting point is 00:04:40 But great rapper does not mean that you're the best in Pyrex bars or whatever he was trying to say. Or he's describing his music as the caviar drug rap and believes the new album would showcase his evolution. So I don't know. Y'all let me know if y'all hear that evolution throughout the album because I would definitely be letting y'all know in the future. So that being said, click my link to you in my bio. Let me know in one of my social medias. What do you think about Benny Butcher's album title?
Starting point is 00:05:09 And do you think that his album title was basically a confession on his response to people asking why does he not have good album sales?
