Starting point is 00:00:03 Getting into an artist that I already covered once before in April, I believe. Let me see. Let me get the exact date. So basically April 5th, 2024, I covered Benson Boone for his track, beautiful things because that was doing phenomenal on the charts. Now, when it comes to Benson Boone in his overall image, right? he definitely is sporting more of a rock star type image, but technically he makes like pop music specifically to encapsivate the masses like he's done. Because if you don't know, he had this album
Starting point is 00:00:48 titled Fireworks and Roller Blaze that came out April 5th. But then of course, when it comes to his most popular track off of that album, it's of course still beautiful things. As when you look at the charts this man not only has the 24th most popular album in the world with fire works and roller blades but he also has one chart in the top of hundred one track in the top of hundred when it comes to beautiful things being the 12th most play track in the work the the the 12th most popular track in the world and has been on the charts for about 57 weeks that is insanity So Benson Boone is obviously having some long lasting impact with his fireworks and rollerblades album. But that's not what the segment is about.
Starting point is 00:01:43 We're getting into his track. Sorry, I'm here for someone else. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, as far as this particular track, it already tells you what the subject matter is going to be. And of course, you're correct as it's relationship talk. It's another relationship song. but who doesn't love a relationship song, especially when you're using these type of songs on TikTok
Starting point is 00:02:07 and a lot of people love to lip sync lyrics from these relationship type songs. Because guess what? It's very relatable. So when you have something that's relatable from an artist that's already doing 48.7 million monthly listeners on Spotify, let alone other DSPs that he's probably doing phenomenal numbers on. And then you come to the fact that beautiful things for my,
Starting point is 00:02:31 an album that released last year is still doing phenomenal numbers as far as being the 12th most played track in the world as far as beautiful things been on the charts about 57 weeks which is still insane to say out loud and then of course in his success on the charts are i double a basically certified beautiful things for five time platinum now five time platinum you're halfway to diamond if he gets to I'm not going to say just because you get the diamond your track is a classic but objectively speaking your track is a classic when it comes to in captivating the masses no matter what you want to say a diamond track is unequivocally a hit as far as engagement wise now quality wise I always say that just because you sell a lot does not mean you make high quality just because you don't sell a lot does not mean you make subpar music, right?
Starting point is 00:03:33 The two don't correlate, but sometimes they do, and you end up with a classic. When it comes to beautiful things, I've listened to that track, I think it's phenomenal. Now, when it comes to his music in totality, I don't think I'm the biggest Benson Boone fan, but that's just simply for the fact that I think his type of tonality and his vocal inflections are just not for me. And that's just the biggest thing I can say when it comes to him, because as far as the music that he makes, I'm just not as encaptivated by it like other people, but
Starting point is 00:04:05 not saying it's bad. I'm just saying it's not for me. So obviously for somebody else, as he's doing phenomenal numbers on the charts, beautiful things is going insane. And of course, when it comes to the track, sorry I'm here for someone else, that track is also doing well. And hopefully at some point it starts the chart because it just came out. So with it just being released, uh, the 27th of
Starting point is 00:04:31 February, which is, you know, it's definitely some time between that and now as far as March 7th and looking at the charts and it's nowhere to be found. I'm not going to say that's a red flag, but maybe, maybe his track, sorry I'm here for someone else, was not as impactful as he thought it was going to be, as it's nowhere to be found on the top 100 as far as Billboard being considered. So, but with that being said, click my link, sure in my bio. Let me know on one of my social media is what do you think about Benson Boone's track sorry I'm here for someone else and what is your favorite thing about Benson Boone if you're a huge fan
