Starting point is 00:00:03 Now, there's one thing that I know is what I don't know. So y'all are going to have to help me? Who in the world is Shibuzi? Now, I don't care if that comes off ignorant, but ladies and gentlemen, I cover music industry and I ain't never heard of nobody calling themselves Shibuzi. Maybe I'm tripping. Maybe Shibuzi is like signed to Beyonce or something.
Starting point is 00:00:30 obviously I did no research coming into this because I'm just trying to figure out who in the world is this musician and I wanted it to do I wanted to do it in real time so what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna type in Shibuzi because basically this track titled Sweet Honey Buckin is the second time Shibuzzi has been featured on this album and it's a 27 track album so was it 27 or 28 I'll lose count I don't know it's a lot of it's a lot of tracks all right is either 27 or 28 I'm not looking at up but basically this segment is basically about finding out who in the world is Shibuzi. So it seems like it's a guy that, oh, I've seen this guy before. That is actually insane. I've seen him on Twitter. He was like doing some type of country freestyle or whatever. Somebody said his hand signs was looking like what you look like when you're hesitant to spit a freestyle because the whole time he was like singing.
Starting point is 00:01:27 I didn't really listen to the whole thing, but, you know. Shout out to Beyonce. for putting him or her album twice you know pulling a drake in highlighting underground artists you know I wish other musicians would do that more but anyways he started in 2014 so you know I'm not gonna call him an industry plan obviously I'm just ignorant I don't know who this man is and that's why I said I wanted to figure out in real time so yeah I see like my honest reaction so anyways shabuzzi is a part of empire slash American dogwood his last album was under American Dogwood slash Empire that's interesting okay so under Empire I'm pretty sure
Starting point is 00:02:11 that's a major label I don't know who that's under I mean it has some type of significant market push of course being under Empire but as far as the Sony's the Warners the UMGs of the world even the divisions the subdivisions of UMG like I'm trying to figure out where this empire place themselves amongst that hierarchy and it seems like this man has a type of push from a label i just don't know if it's like a major label but obviously you know he had to build that up for himself all the way back in 2014 to the point where it's 10 years later and you're on the album project or you're on a biancé project two times so that's just shout out to a hard work and dedication and actually have a uh i think it's a
Starting point is 00:02:57 biography shibuzzi also known as collins shibuzzi also known as collins shibuzzi rising musician i can't i can't read um hailing from virginia 28 years old made waves in the music scene with his blend of genres man i ain't going to lie to you little naz ex has to be punched in the air right now i mean people just forgot that man exists like like they just act like that man don't do nothing when it comes to uh how he impacted the genre blending um performance aspect because Old Town Road to this day is still one of the more pivotal tracks when it comes to impacting the charts
Starting point is 00:03:36 in the genre blending nature of that track. But hey, let people tell it Lil Nas X never existed. So he's probably somewhat punching the air. I mean, at least Nikki could have threw him a bone and let him... No, did he. But could have threw him a bone
Starting point is 00:03:52 and let him be on her album, you know? Because he started off as a Nicky Stan account and then came up to the point where I'm pretty sure he would have helped out the sales a little bit. But anyways. So, yeah, Lil Nas X is just being, you know, just completely excluded from the music industry. And, you know, I guess some would say it's because he's gay. But a lot of the devilish imagery, him selling his own devil shoe, like literally look it up.
Starting point is 00:04:21 Nike devil shoe Lil Nas X. He tried to sell his own brand where he customized. And of course, Nike shut that down because you're not going to be making devilish product. off our name. And then also his last single, it's a whole reason why people, you know, excluded him. But you know, I just had to make that joke because he's probably seeing Shibuzzi come before him. And now him getting his spotlight. And also two appearances on a Beyonce album just goes to show that if you stay in your own lane, don't compare yourself to others.
Starting point is 00:04:52 If you realize what you're doing is the right work ethic and consistency, then at some point you will get that recognition. if a Shibuzzi, that couldn't be more of the truth as, you know, Lois X seemingly excluded. Now he's on a Beyonce album twice. So whose career would one person choose at this point in time? So anyways, if you want to listen to Shibuzi, his best tracks, or not best tracks, his best performing tracks, like analytically speaking, is, oh, he was on the Spider-Verse album?
Starting point is 00:05:29 What in the world? I must have not been paying attention. Start a riot. That was him. And then Vague is a color show. And then let it burn. That's the top three statistically. I know, it's Beverly Hills.
Starting point is 00:05:40 I guess he has some new tracks that's going crazy. Anyways, just go to Shibuzi. Seems like he's lit and I'm just completely ignorant. So after figuring out another musician who's also talented and putting up numbers and is also going to be on the Beyonce album coming out at midnight, just reassures me that this album is going to be. absolutely phenomenal and you know as far as my preview of this album i ain't know what i was going to get you know as far as like information but from what i've gained put together and formulated in
Starting point is 00:06:14 my brain cowboy carter seems like it's going to be if not the album of the year is definitely going to be in the top three it seems like it's going to be that type of project so anyways click my link to my bio let me know one of my social medias what do you think about my finalized coverage of just a preview of Beyonce's album because of course I'm going to cover it after it drops but just wanted to get my preview of tracks that I think it's going to blow up off of the album even before it comes out and with your listening experience to Calvary Carter make sure to come back and let me know after finishing the album of course which track was your favorite
