Starting point is 00:00:03 You're probably asking yourself, do we still blame all of these hip hop beefs on Cat Williams? Well, let me just tell you, of course you do. I mean, who else we're going to blame for the plethora of hip hop beefs we've received in 2024? And if you want to hear the entire timeline of beef, I literally have a whole episode out now where you can look up rat beef analytic dreams or whatever platform, listen to podcasts on and i give you the whole breakdown of every single hip hop beef that we've had in twenty twenty four because there's been a lot and we're only halfway through the year so with that being said of course for this specific segment it's more of a review not too much of a breakdown i'm
Starting point is 00:00:53 to give y'all more of the overview of carty b versus bia because if you didn't know both of them are rappers so the way they come back their differences is through music or should be through music which is where we come to the title Sue Me by Bia
Starting point is 00:01:13 she is putting out this track Distant Cardi B with the title Sue Me because Cardi B Cardi B did something I never thought I would see in my lifetime of covering hip hop
Starting point is 00:01:27 A rapper came out on live and said if you drop a disc track i'm a sue you now excuse my ignorance but i've never heard of a rapper threatening somebody with a lawsuit because of a disc track now that's a new one so anyways and you can't just say oh it's because she's female and you know they fight different or whatever because we've had niki versus megan we've had ice spice versus Lotto. Even before that, we had Nikki versus everybody. I mean, any and everybody that was garnering some type of rise and some type of fan base was seemingly getting into it with Nikki Minaj. I mean, just think to yourself, when's the last time we've seen Ice Spice and
Starting point is 00:02:21 Nikki Minaj together. But anyways, let's get into the timeline, right? So, Bia, all the way back in 2021 broke down how she was beyond celebratory of Cardi B's Bodek Yellow, which is certified diamond. If you don't know what diamond is, I don't know either. So just look it up. But anyways, now I'm just joking. So anyways, diamond, let me get the actual qualification. I know it's through RR AA certification. You have to submit it to get it diamond.
Starting point is 00:02:54 Let's see. Because I have to find the actual number because first you have to submit it. So even if it is Diamond, you still have to submit it, which is what Rihanna did with her track work that party next door created. But hey, no, nobody care when there's other people using writers. It's only just my goat. It's all right. It's all right. I understand.
Starting point is 00:03:19 So anyways, Diamond certification is basically, well, it goes through R-I-Dou-A-A. And the premise of it is that the Recording Association of America awards songs based off a certified number of albums and singles sold for retail and other, you know, ancillary pieces. But let's get to the actual details of the diamond number. So gold is selling 500,000 units. Platinum is selling 2 million units. multi platinum records is of course you know in the millions multi millions things of that nature and then diamond is 10 million units
Starting point is 00:04:05 its highest honor and artists can achieve in terms of sales now you're probably thinking to yourself I know a plethora of artists I keep saying plethora I know several artists that have 10 million streams that is not the same as a unit cell my brother it's about 1400 streams that goes into one unit uh sell so as far as streaming it's not the same as purchasing if you purchase something
Starting point is 00:04:34 obviously that counts as one if you stream something that does not count as one that basically counts as you know i don't even know the percentage but basically 1400 equals to one unit cell so just you know do the math on that i'm no mathematician so that is why i bring up the fact that Bia congratulated Cardi B on her immense success with Bodek Yellow because seemingly they was on the right foot. Now, where things went wrong and it ended up on the wrong foot is where Bia started subliminally dissing Cardi B to where Cardi B came out herself and had to, I don't know if this is going to be too loud.
Starting point is 00:05:16 But yes, ladies and gentlemen, we have Cardi B herself coming out to talk about why her and be a have such beef see i think i think it's right here um because i know it's 13 minutes it's not two minutes and a lot of them that's coming up oh it's 16 minutes okay here we go i'm like yo where's this when we're coming yes we have the exclusive cardi be herself coming to clear up the rumors and obviously we're not going to listen to this whole thing and um i'm not going to put this on video because it's more of just a off-the-wim you know i've been doing a lot through uh my own personal life, not too like serious, but you know, just busy man, you know what I'm saying? So I'm not going to put this up on video.
Starting point is 00:05:58 But anyways, you can hear Cardi B talk about the situation right here. And it's like, yeah, it's coming from, shoddy. It's coming from her. And it's like, huh? So I'm like, what do you mean? It's like, yeah, she showed a video to this producer that he's. So basically she's talking about the video of her allegedly cheating on offset. I'm going to give context when, you know, needed.
Starting point is 00:06:21 It's very close to offset. they're like this and that she saw and she showed it to another rapper and i'm like okay i'm get to the bottom of it so i called the producer but he talks too offset and he told offset i ain't seen the video but surely saying that she got some shit on your bitch and if your girl like reply back like like like to whatever the fuck she put out she's gonna post the video something she's like that i'm like i'm like i whatever so i call the rapper too and the rapper is like i ain't ever heard nothing so i'm like you know what i'm gonna just keep it professional and i'm gonna get to the thick of it because I wonder if like, I was wondering if it's like,
Starting point is 00:06:55 if there's like a rumor that somebody's making up because, you know, everybody knows that me and her are like not in the greatest, in the greatest thing. So I don't know if there's like a rumor that people's making up trying to be messy between me and her. So I got to the think of it. And I got my manager called her manager and I'm a show you. Okay.
Starting point is 00:07:13 And then she, uh, if there's one thing about Cardi B that you can take from as far as, you know, a gym is that. You should always keep receipts because you never know when you're going to need them. So anyways, Cardi B was showing all sorts of receipts. And so she went on to talk about how Bia basically backtrack through the conversation and how they really didn't have any issue. And then this is when this happened.
Starting point is 00:07:41 I will never tell nobody. And I'm going to tell you out when I accomplished. I look how I can't rap, blah. My nigger pressed or my nigger slapped. And y'all would even know about it. But people know. what's up. My niggas all the time, 10 step behind me. Bitch, put it on a song.
Starting point is 00:07:57 Okay, here we go. I think she talks about it right here. I'm like, yo, where's this? I will put, I will put all the conversations up. I will put the conversations of me and her when we first. Okay, so now she's talking about Bia, sneak dissing her even after they had the conversation. First talked on the phone, how I started it. It started out very nasty. It started very unprofessional. You know I get ghetto. But we ended up the conversation very nicely. You still kept going to the internet dissing me. You went to the internet dissing me.
Starting point is 00:08:33 You claiming, after we had the conversation, you went and you started saying that I copied your music video. Then what else you did? Then you fucking did a record. You diss me on it. I'm whatever. I ignore you. Then you're going around lying about my pussy to my man's boys and shit. Don't you just love Cardi B's overview breakdown of this?
Starting point is 00:08:55 This is just insane. Oh, so it was you that was going to. going around saying that because you put it on a song. You want to go, I, so I'm going to address you with it. I'm going to dress you with it. I don't play that shit. There's the tension you want it. You want streams.
Starting point is 00:09:09 You want, I don't know. I'm going to share my platform with you. I'm going to share it. Yeah, share the platform. Please go to a Spotify, go to her, go to a Spotify, go to a- I don't promote that. I feel that. It's crazy.
Starting point is 00:09:22 Yo, it's so crazy, like. And it's crazy because when I called her on the phone, Back to her seats. And that's exactly what we got. We ended the conversation with clarity. But you kept going. She kept going, y'all. And the thing about it is that it's like, at first when she kept taking time, take it time.
Starting point is 00:09:43 I was like, damn, maybe she's doing it for clout. You know, I'm Cardi B. Bitch is going to always look for cloud when it comes to me. Stunner. When she started doing that rumor shit, it's like, damn, it's more than clout. It's jealousy. Mm. It's jealousy.
Starting point is 00:09:58 Because what bitch will lie on another bitch? pussy. Nah, for real. That's jealousy. Why the bitch who lie about another bitch pussy? That's jealousy. Come on, man. Like, what we're really talking about?
Starting point is 00:10:12 You hate that I'm spoiled. You hate that a nigga that will beat a nigga up for me. Okay. You hate the fact that I'm super successful. And that's why I'm gonna cut it off because y'all know what this would have sounded 10 times better on? A beat. So if and when Cardi B decides to respond. I am, I feel sorry for Bia because even though she's the better rapper,
Starting point is 00:10:39 Cardi B can easily hire the better music production team to put out a phenomenal diss against Bia. And then the industry, because there's really no reason to hate Cardi B. The industry loves Cardi B. She's going to put out a disc record. It's going to blow up. It's going to be one of her biggest hits. And then we may finally get that Cardi B album simply off of you. you jumping out and thinking stuff was sweet you know how kendrick said sometimes you got to pop out
Starting point is 00:11:07 and show people well there's a reason why he is called the boogeyman because not everybody can pop out and not everybody can show people because sometimes the industry just doesn't message you like that obviously we've seen the industry messes with kendrick but when it comes to bea i think she would soon realize how industry connections and public perception on a superstar will supersede anything you think that is lyrically superior. So that being said, that's the advice I have for Bia. Click my link to your in my bio. Let me know one of my social medias.
Starting point is 00:11:42 What do you think of Bia and her disc track, Sue Me against Cardi B? And at the end of the day, whose side are you on?
