Now, when talking about Billy Eilish, it's safe to say that she is one of the most notorious
effector of the masses when it comes to the music industry to the point where you look at her
tour, right? The hit me hard and soft tour. You guys. See, that's the problem. Can't even say,
pause for that one. That tour ran from September 2024 to November 2025 and basically it had a
106 shows.
But that's not the turning point.
The main thing I was willing to say
as far as the actual quantity of the shows
is that it grossed 82.3 million dollars, ladies and gentlemen.
And me as a Hall of Fame pocket watcher, safe to say,
I looked at that and said to myself, hold on now.
I remember Billy Elish
donating 11.5 million from the earnings
to food equity slash climate
causes. Clap it up for Billy Elish. Now the reason why I'm saying all that is because she currently,
because of her monumental tour that had immense success, she has a tour movie coming soon
that's co-directed by Billy Elish, of course, and James Cameron, who's an Oscar-winning filmmaker
and basically one of the, no, it's the pioneer of the show, the movie Avatar. That's how you know
and watch movies or TV shows like that.
is released under is Paramount Pictures and is going to release March 20th, 2026.
And when it comes to the particular tour date and well the movie date about the tour,
the main things about it is that Billy Ilish, one of the key slogan of the trailer for the tour says,
quote, she changed the music industry.
He changed the film industry.
They will reinvent the concert experience.
experience in 3D you guys now thought to myself now there's a this a particular artist
that I was thinking about I was like I know there was a certain artist you know I mean I ain't gonna say
any names right because if I was to say names I'll have to swiftly pivot because guess what
what if these two artists have beef I was like no that can't be the case so I looked it up
I looked up taylor swift and billy isleish and safe to say ladies and gentlemen they don't have
any tracks together now I'm not trying to start any beef you know I'm not trying to
you know insinuate anything but very interesting how two highly talented
individuals you go to DSPs you type it maybe my DSP is wrong right I typed in
Taylor Swift I typed in Billy Elish I don't think they have any tracks together
but maybe I'm tripping right um interestingly enough Taylor Swift had a particular film
two, by the way, going to concert, going to theaters.
Now, she had a tour docu series and a concert film coming to Disney Plus.
I forgot when that was.
I remember reporting on that.
That was back on October 14th, 2025.
But as far as the actual tour date, it is coming,
is launching December 12th.
Oh, today's December 12th.
Wonder where?
Am I remember?
Let's see.
December 12.
oh yeah should have launched today let me see if uh if disney has some type of promo about it
but you know this this interest you know this segment is about uh it's about taylor swift
but oh yeah they literally just look at this uh analytic dreams video on spotify to see the video
along with audio so he literally just posted this um so let me see if i can switch my scene here we go
um it's the end of an error but the start of an age the first two episodes of the end of an era
in taylor swift the errors tour the final show are now streaming only
on Disney Plus.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is what I was talking about.
So when it comes to Billy Elish,
it's to say she has her own movie coming to theaters,
but that's not coming to March 20th, 2026.
I'm not saying that Billy Elish and Taylor Swift have beef.
I was just pointing out that the tagline is very interesting.
They will reinvent the concert experience in 3D.
I'm not saying that Taylor Swift already did that.
I'm just essentially saying that exact thing.
So, yeah, man, I'm kind of petty, ain't I?
October 7, 2025, I also covered how the first
theater, you know, the first movie she put out
theaters as far as Taylor Swift's life of a showgirl movie,
it grossed $34 million.
Billy Elish team saw that and they said to themselves.
I know that ain't who I think it is.
They saw her racking up all that revenue in the theaters
and they said to themselves.
I know that ain't who I think it is.
So Billy Elish was like, James Cameron,
you have to collaborate with me expeditiously
because we have to do the exact same thing
that Taylor Swift just did.
And you know what our tagline's going to be?
I changed the music industry.
You changed the film industry and together we will reinvent the concert experience
in 3D.
But then you know what I'm saying?
I was like 10.
Man, I'm petty, ain't I?
Anyways, as far as the footage, obviously it's going to be about her 106 show tour
across four continents, which is a huge accomplishment.
And how it went from September 2024, wrapped in November 24,
2025 and there's going to be new film and uh that's not new film is not a standard uh front
row capture it uses never before you never before used technology by james cameron and it's immersive
3d design to highlight whispers bass drops crowd screams staging scale and emotional resonance
ladies and gentlemen i don't know if this word salad but y'all got to go to the theaters yourselves
to figure that out because obviously I'm not watching this I didn't even watch the Taylor movie so I don't even know why I would go watch a Billy Ilich movie as far as live events it's not really my cup of tea I think when it comes to live events it's definitely a desire or no it's an acquired taste because you know just being around that many people and that space especially to watch a performance is um I think you know you have to like a artist a lot to go do that specific thing but anyways um this will be Billy
ilish first ever theatrical concert film and her previous concert special was happier than ever a love
letter to los angeles that actually came to uh disney plus in 2021 so maybe billy ellish did do it first huh
who would have thought wow i should read that before i talked about it that's crazy i mean it's
literally on here you know as far as my notes so you know you know now but she had a
los angeles uh happier than ever a love letter to los angeles back in disney plus
well back on 2021 Disney Plus so um i don't know who's copying who at this point it seemed like taylor
swip copying billy ilish but when it comes to the overall marketing strategy for this i do believe
at some point she's definitely going to follow this up with some type of new music because if you
don't if you look at the charts right i'm not saying billy is falling off because that would
definitely that's never happening but um billy eilish does have the 30th most play out in the world
would hit me hard and soft and it's almost like a year after that and of course she's been going on tour
and stuff and usually that helps you
track percolate higher
on the charts but of course
for Billy Elish which
I'm trying to go to her uh yeah
whenever I go to her account other like things
pop up it doesn't even her like you type
in her name and her account
doesn't even pop up which is crazy um
yeah her last album
was May 17,
2024 her last single
was August 1st
2024 which wasn't even a single
it was her being a feature on
Charlie X-E-X's track title guess.
So now that you look at that, and you think of her being completely absent in the year of
2025, it's because she's torn, you know, it's because she's making all type of revenue,
which she talked about earlier as far as the disgusting amount of money she made on her tour,
which was reported to be $82 million, right?
And if Taylor Swift just pulled $30 million, $34 million, to be exact,
when I reported it back on October 3rd of this year, basically, she should pay.
she surpassed the tortured poets department
and trailed only Adele's 25
as far as the album, right?
As far as the movie,
it had a 46 million global box office
from its theatrical launch.
So not even 34 million.
It was even more than that,
but as far as the global aspect,
I guess the 34 million was probably just US.
Taylor Swift made a lot of money
from a theatrical release.
I think Billy Ish going to do
same you know i'm not trying to put pit two against each other but it's too obvious as far as talking about
the only artists in the game that has such a notorious effect on the masses that they could go to
the theaters and have them in success if you don't know it's hard to get people to the theaters how
mean netflix is literally about warner bros because of that whole reason right um getting people to
the theaters is harder than you imagine for harder than you can uh imagine for the likes of a warner bros
a Disney. So now, when you're one individual putting out a movie and having the success like Taylor Swift and
Billy Eilich, safe to say they're very much an outlier. It's not something that you could just do
as an individual. Put your movie out and think people would care. For Billy Elish and Taylor Swift,
they definitely are one of the few musicians. If I had to list out, I would say definitely Drake,
Kanye, it had to be the cream of the crop that put out an actual movie about their music career and
people go watch uh it's not it's not a lot i'm talking about a lot like obviously anybody who's a
fan of a particular artist i'm talking about droves of people rushing to the theaters to go watch them
i think it's only Kanye drake billy olish obviously uh taylor swift uh because you know
billy iish already had that disney plus back in 2021 that almost forgot about and of course
taylor swift just made 34 million off of her last uh theatrical release
I can't think of any other artists that could have people come into the movie theaters and droves.
Definitely Bad Bunny.
If Bad Bunny had a movie, basically pay attention to this trend.
There's a lot of trouble getting people to theaters at this very moment.
And if artists like Billy Oledge can do it, Taylor Swift can do it.
Safe to say, I think other genres should start following suit as far as making a movie about the tour.
and putting it in theaters.
If they are the outlier to have droves of fans rush to the theaters like a Taylor Swift,
which is really nobody like a Taylor Swift.
But as far as the next up, which would be like a Drake Bad Bunny,
I think they could do the same thing.
So if Billy Elish, not to diminish Billy Elish because she's on that level of superstardom too,
but showcasing how the theatrical release maybe needs to be a part of the marketing strategy
along with tour merch things that nature so we have to see how that plays out if this works for billy
isleish just like it did for taylor swift because taylor swift's the biggest outlier but if this works for
billy isleish assume other genres may start noticing and putting their top superstars on a theatrical
mission very soon um so with that being said click my link sure in my bio let me know one of my social
media is what do you think about billy isleasing her hit me hard and soft film set to
come out March 20th, 2026. And we'll be going to watch it in theaters when it releases March 20th,
20th, 26.
