Billy Eilish is currently doing numbers with her latest album titled Hit Me Hard and Soft.
No Diddy.
As the specific track I wanted to cover was Lunch because when I first listened to the album and yes, as a hip-hop fan, I did take the time out to listen to a Billy Elish album.
So when I was listening to Lunch, I really enjoyed the song.
and it became my favorite over time.
So seeing that it is projected,
and these are the extended estimates,
so of course this could always change.
But according to the Billboard chart data,
this track is slated to be the most successful analytically.
Well, analytical?
Analytically, that's definitely not a word.
But regarding analytics,
this is definitely the top performing track.
as it's projected to be in the top five on the billboard top 100 so with that being said of course this specific track has a music video that was put out May 17th because Billy Elish and her team probably saw that this was going to be the most successful track off of the album of course drama happens with every popular release and for Billy Elish is no different as a lot of people bring
up the vinyl statement that she had regarding it being a waste as far as the environment and being
detrimental to the earth a lot of people is taking that out of context and just targeting billy
eyelish in a way that took away from the actual music but what i have to say about it is that a lot
of people have the different perspectives on what is detrimental to the environment and for billy
eyelish to express that i don't think it's a bad thing because who else would speak up on these type of
topics if it's not in the own musical realm if that makes sense like how is she going to put out
a protected environment track and people listen to it obviously that's not going to affect the masses
in an effective way so her coming out outside of music and just giving her take on people putting
out vinyl's even though in regards to music she is basically getting a statement outside of her music
because who wants to hear that and the actual body of work i mean when's the last time a protect the
environment song even had top 100 impact on the charts right so of course i don't really fault
be the ilish for having those type of statements about uh vinals being a waste of society but of course the swifties
had a problem with it but you know what they don't have a problem with the numbers that billy
is putting up because ultimately taylor swift is blocking yet another number one album as billy
is set to put up numbers in the 300,000 range but as far as taylor swift is concerned obviously
it's not going to affect that and it will still be number one as far as the most consumed album
in the world.
So for me looking at it, the standpoint of everybody is putting more emphasis on
Biddy Islish statement regarding vinyl to actually listening to her music.
I'm not saying that she's not going to outsell Taylor Swift because there's still a possibility
that could happen.
But currently with lunch being the biggest performer off of her album and what Taylor Swift
still doing around 300 to 350 first week sales billy is isleish album is projected to have a 300 000
debut as far as first week sales so it's still a close race it's not outside of the realm
or not outside of the realm of possibility that billy i just could have a number one album but it's
not looking too good for the uh billy jeans out there and yes that's the name i gave her a fan base
because I haven't seen another name that they've chosen to go with.
So anyways, as far as lunch, hopefully as far as the projections, it stays in the top five.
Because personally, that's my favorite song.
So I'm glad to see that actually having some type of superiority when it comes to numbers-wise on the entire album.
Because that just reinforces my belief that this is the best.
best track off of the album and if you go back to when I first cover the album if you look up
hit me hard and soft analytic dreams no ditty it would probably pop up obviously you leave out the
no ditty part but um yeah I said then and I'm saying now that lunch is my favorite track off the
album so that being said it's projected to be top five that's basically why I want to cover
billy Ilish is slated to do 300,000 to be in that range as far as first week's sales
We'll see if it's more, we'll see if it's less.
I saw it was taking off iTunes and then put back up.
So I don't know what's happening with this album.
But at the end of day, one thing you can't say is that people are not enjoying this body of work.
So with that being said, click my link to share in my bio.
