Who else to cap off the Barbie soundtrack?
Like, actually, who else would you choose to cap off the Barbie movie soundtrack other than Billy Eilish?
So now, not only do you have Dua Leepa, not only do you have the queen of hip hop, Nicky Minaj,
but then you also have Barbie Eilish.
And yes, I mixed the two names.
But anyway, so she released a new track titled What Was I Made For to Cap Off the Barbie album?
And obviously, the movie is coming out soon.
I forget when the movie comes out.
Do they tell me when the movie comes out?
The movie hits July theaters.
I feel like I'm on a promo run right now.
The movie will come out on theaters July 21st.
Make sure you get them tickets, baby.
No, just my fault.
My fault.
Okay.
I honestly, I listen to the track, right?
And I lied.
I didn't listen to the track.
I thought I listened to the track.
I skipped down the track.
Not on purpose.
I just completely forgot.
So I can't tell you if this track is fire or trash.
But what I can tell you is that the targeted demo for the Barbie movie is not the demo that's going to show up to watch the movie.
I don't know what it is about Barbie or the Oppenheimer movie combined with Barbie.
But whoever did that, the marketing geniuses and they need a raise.
well, I guess they probably won't get a raise because they're all on strike.
But you know what I'm saying?
Somebody who did not feel like going on strike needs a raise whoever came up with
Barbieheimer.
I don't know if it was the social media accounts who came up with his nickname, but people took it
and ran with it.
I'm not so sure if the sales would be the same, if not for Barbie Heimer.
Because I believe that Barbie would have sold well, of course.
But if you never watch Grace Randolph, who,
reviews, movies, and TV shows.
She's really well-spoken when it comes to that industry side of things.
She basically said that Margaret Robbie, Margot Robbie or whatever you say,
name is, whatever her name is, she's not the best at selling movies being the lead actor.
I can't fact-checked that.
That was something that's Grace Randolph's words, not mine, but she's more into the movie TV space.
So I'm not saying that this movie would a flop.
All I'm saying is, Barbie Heimer has put this movie on a whole other social impact scale than it otherwise would be, in my opinion, in my humble opinion.
And the soundtrack does not hurt one bit.
Having Nicky Minaj, who for decades, has been calling herself Barbie to the point where her fan base, her literal, her literal cult-like fan base, is called the Barb's.
So for her to be on this Barbie soundtrack, you already know she's going to be having her fan base support this movie for Dua Lipa.
You already know how big she is.
I mean, every hip-hop artist known the man is trying to rob something with Dua Leapah.
And now to have Billy Elish making a track specifically for this Barbie movie is to the point where I'm thinking that this Barbie movie might just be a classic.
Like, I may have to pop out and go see Barbie.
No, I'm just joking.
I ain't going to go that far.
but you know if there was somebody wanting to see the movie i would not be opposed to going to it
but i'm definitely you know not going out myself you know all right that's like that's like a grown
man going to disney world with no kids like what i look like going to that movie but anyways um yeah
that's basically um what i wanted to get into billy out is kind of talked about being on the
soundtrack and uh obviously they shot a music video for it and what you see on the
screen which shameless plug analytic dreams video to see all the video elements but basically she does not
look like billy olish at all i don't know if i'm hating but the cover title for this single it's a little
different she looks like a completely different person her head's like turned to the side so if they had like a
look-alike literally they could have placed it in for this uh cover this album cover but anyways that's
besides the point the last thing i wanted to get into was the music video having billy oilish
dress up in a lot of different Barbie inspired outfits which is something that might
market Robbie is doing on a lot of the screenings for Barbie.
She's showing up in different Barbie-inspired outfits because, of course, she's the main lead.
She's Barbie, so she might as well dress up like her.
So, yeah, man, that's basically it.
That's all I got because when we're talking about Barbie movie as myself, I don't know if I'm
the most qualified to talk about all the intricacies of a movie called Barbie.
But anyways, the contributions to the soundtrack, like I said,
was a dual lepa i'm probably missing so many other names lizo is also on the album uh killeroy uh who else
i mean of course i've already said niki duelipa oh ice spice is also on the track with nicky um if that does
anything for you and uh yeah so that's basically it man click my link to my bio let me know one of my
social medias what do you think about this barbie movie are you going to see it are you seeing
it only because of barbie uh barbie heimer or are you strictly
a barb and also you know on a music aspect have you listened to this track by billy
ilish titled what was i made for and if you listen to it was it fire or trash
