Now, of course, when it comes to Black Pink, I've covered them a plethora of times.
And even that is an understatement.
As when it comes to Rosie, when it comes to Jenny, Jin, Jisu, I forget how I pronounced it.
Anyways, I covered them all the way back in 2023 when I think I gave one of their members the most, the highest compliment I could have gave them as far as them being the sole reason that an HBO show got an award for.
for best choreography, which was the idol by the weekend.
Now, if you know anything about that TV show,
that TV show, the quality level,
and then an award being given to that TV show,
you probably wonder what was the middle ground
as far as going through the process
of giving them that award?
But let me just tell you, Jenny from Black Pink
had one of the best choreography scenes
I've seen in that TV show where you could say
as a cheat code because it's a music type of show,
but at the end of the day,
You still have to execute it and executed they did as far as it being flawless.
Now, when it comes to that, I went on to cover the Black Pink group in totality as far as August 25th, 2023.
And then I went on to cover the individual members.
But now they're back again as far as Gsu, Jenny, Rosie, and Lisa with the latest track
under YG Entertainment, of course, titled Jump.
Now, all of that was just to let you know.
This group hasn't put out an album since 2022.
So safe to say, when it comes to 2018, all the way into 2022, they put out an album
every single year.
And then, for some reason, they broke up when I broke up, they split off, pulled a little
BTS and kind of had individual routes in their careers as far as Rosie, Jenny, Jisu,
I've already said Jenny.
But when it comes to Lisa, I think that's the one that I haven't covered at all as far as
I don't know if she made enough noise as far as her musical releases independently.
Anyways, all the other artists did.
And now they're back again with the latest track jump.
So a three-year hiatus and now they're all cultivated like Voltron and formatted and
formulated and transformed into one group to put out this jump track that I believe is going to have some type of staying power on the charts.
Because not only is the streams already doing tremendous.
as far as 10 million plus streams in the first 24 hours, which is a career best for the group, Black Pink.
But then you realize breaking off into the individual careers, having people respect them individually as musicians, and now they get back together, the additional fans you cultivate it while being on your own, now that you're back in one group, now that you're back in one group, guess what?
Now, it all results in higher analytics and groundbreaking as far as numbers for the entire group compared to the past outings.
Because Jump right now is the most successful single to date as far as out the jump, the first 24 hours.
Now, when it comes to the charts, when it comes to longevity, there's a lot of,
there's a lot of certain obstacles that you have to go through so certain outlets can
legitimize certain numbers. But as of right now, jump is seeing a phenomenal spike in analytics.
And when it comes to the ultimate group, they actually have a lot of insane marketing strategies
as one of the things I've noticed as far as Instagram, right, is when they combine three
squares to make one image. I always like that type of that type of marketing strategy because it shows
some type of formality in the way you're delivering content. It's not like you're just throwing content
out there. A lot of these things are three stages as far as the marketing strategy. And I'm
showing it as I'm talking about it. So analytic dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with
the audio. But anyways, as you can see right now, the three Instagram tiles consistently is used
to create one image, which is just beyond phenomenal.
So as you've seen, they've been very active
as far as as a group, which is impressive
because they've been on their individual run,
like I was just saying earlier,
as far as me covering them in the totality of this podcast.
Cause as far as Rosie having the track,
literally title Rosie, as far as Jesse having mantra,
as far as Jesu having Blissu,
is a lot of interesting titles that
showcase the individual.
artistry and then not only that but to play off a TikTok as far as them having nine times at the
10 they have a global trending sound on TikTok so that ultimately helps as far as engagement with their
music and then they cross over to other platforms such as Spotify Amazon things etc so with this
particular track jump with the Black Pink tour already starting as far as it already being started in
July 5th of this year in South Korea and the US leg of the US leg of the tour starts July 12th.
You come to realize that this group is setting up to have a phenomenal 2025 but also 2026 as the tour continues into 2026 and it ends like early 2026 but it definitely continues through there.
So you should definitely follow them specifically to be able to get tickets to their
show because if you go to the website it should pull it up but ultimately you should probably follow
the artist so you get like an inclination of what the behind the scenes look like and what type of show
you're going to get but when it comes to this track jump i will say that it is showcase showing as far as
analytics for it to be one of the better tracks performance wise that we've seen in quite some time
from the k-pop community because right now k-pop demon hunters is going insane now that's a
group as far as musically for a Netflix movie that just ended up performing like Taylor Swift made the soundtrack like this track this soundtrack is doing phenomenal on the charts and it's from a K-pop group right so now we have Black Pink a real K-pop group that has a whole discography they didn't just have a soundtrack blow up overnight right and not just I'm not trying to cast any aspersions on the K-pop demon hunter soundtrack I've covered that
extensively, giving it all the flowers in the world. I'm just saying, Black Pink is a real
K-pop group that has been putting in some time and effort for quite some time as far as the
discography being considered. And now they have the K-pop Dima Hunters, a fictional group,
but putting up numbers like they've been in the game for quite some time, they have them to
compete with, and then some more. So now, with their tour, with them coming back together for
this particular track jump, I think it's interesting timing, especially in the midst of K-Denks.
pop demon hunters going so crazy on the charts that I would if I was a conspiracy
theorist I would think YG entertainment probably thought to some thought to
themselves like hold up now I know Netflix ain't trying to replace Black Pink with their
own fictional K-pop group so they had a pop up and let them know who's been running a game
in K-pop for quite some time when it comes to girl group so I'll be very interested to know
if Black Pink ends up having a collaborative effort with K-pop Demon Hunters,
because I think that would be perfect, have K-pop Demon Hunters Black Pink crossover collab.
I think that's a million-dollar idea, but that's just me.
Or you could go to Kendrick Row, just completely hate on them to the point where now
you're getting as much streams or even more than the people you're hating on as far as
K-pop Demon Hunter.
So there's two routes you could go for Black Pink.
You could go to hold, we been the girl K-pop group running the charts route and go at K-pop Dima Hunters or Yaka combined marketing strategies as far as having a cross-collaborative effort as far as Black Pink and K-pop Dima Hunters.
But with that being said, y'all let me know which one sounds better.
But currently, their track jump is out now.
It officially came out this past Friday.
So with that being said, and they're also on tour.
and the U.S. leg of the tour starts July 12th, well, started yesterday, but they're going to be in
U.S. for quite some time because the tour doesn't end until early 2026. So that being said,
click my link to you in my bio. Let me know one of my social medias. What do you think about
Black Pink's latest track title Jump? And at the end of the day, what do you think about
K-pop demon hunters putting up phenomenal numbers? And do you think they should collab with Black Pink
or should they collide and have a battle for the ages?
