Now, when it comes to this particular artist, especially my coverage of this artist, who we're talking about is Blake Shelton, right?
I talked about him with his track with Post Malone with the track titled Poor Me a Dream.
And that was all the way back in June 21st, 2024.
Now, of course, fast forward to April 2025, he has put out an EP that's titled Stay Country or Die Trying.
Now, I wonder where he got there from.
I was like damn look at the state of hip hop like what's going on now all jokes aside I do like
blake show and as a musician I like the music that he puts out and especially with this EP as far as
state country ad trine that was released April 11th 2025 there's a track title stay country or dot
trying so you know off of the EP right and then he has a track titled let him in anyway pause
and then he has another track titled Texas now of course the most popular track off of this EP
is titled Texas.
Now with that being said,
it's the 74th most played track in the world currently.
But of course,
when it comes to projections by Billboard,
as far as for May 3rd, 2025,
you come to find out that Texas is set to be
the 61st most played track in the world.
So it's on an upward trend,
which is phenomenal for Blake Shelton
because guess what?
He is actually rolling out an album, right?
What is the album called for recreational use only?
and it releases May 9th, 2025.
Now, the reason why I'm bringing this up right now is because, of course,
when it comes to impacting the masses,
Blake Shelton has done that time and time again as he was platinum certified with his debut album,
triple platinum based on the true story back in 2013, right?
He's had in the span of his career, he's had 12 studio albums, 54 singles,
29, number one hits on Billboard Country Airplay.
It's a lot of things that goes into the actual experts.
that is creating music and let's just say Blake Shelton has put in more than the
thousand hours needed to master a certain craft so with that being said a lot of these attributes
as far as what he's garnered on the country charts and you know the country airplay is just showcasing
that he is a force to be reckoned with so when for recreational use only comes out May 9th
2025 guess what it's going to be a commercial hit because he already has a single that's not technically
topping the charts as far as top 10, top 15, but it's on an upward trend and it's already
the 74th most played track in the world and it's set to be the 61st most played track
in the world as far as billboard projections. So when it comes to having a single that people
are gravitating towards Texas is definitely a commercially successful release leading up to
this album. And I think this is going to benefit him a lot, especially in the broader aspects
of Shelton's past hits and success.
in the country and international markets because when it picks up people are going to start to
recognize the name then they're going to start to attach that to what people are saying about
the track and then guess what now you have another hit in the ultimate just um you have another hit
in your entire discography and the amount of hits that you have in your entire discography can't
be disputed right you are undisputed as one of the greatest country artists one of
when it comes to impacting the masses,
which is why artists like Post Malone
would jump out and do a track with Blake Shelton
because you come to realize the amount of cultural equity
that he has garnered in the country industry.
So with that being said,
there's been a lot of influence as far as the George Strait
influence as the songs Amish to George Strait
has appealed to a lot of traditional country fans,
especially platforms like Amazon music,
especially when I'm getting my analytics from,
and seeing how different platforms are gravitating towards this particular track, right?
And then when it comes to the track, Texas, you also realize that not only is it going crazy
on Billboard as far as it being the 74th most play track in the world, but it peaked at number
seven as far as the Billboard Hot Country songs as of April 23rd, 2025.
So you come to realize this man has a successful hit by releasing the EP before his album comes out as far as
May 9th. He's already promoting his album on his IG and he's selling merch as well as far as
pre-order vinals and CDs and just brings back the ultimate discussion. If hip hop fans or no if hip hop
artists wanted to increase their sales why don't they just have vinyl vinyl printed out for their fans
to buy so it comes with the the album process right? So as far as album units,
if you get a shirt that comes with the album if you get merch or a vinyl that comes with that album
well the vinyl is the album but you get what i'm saying like as far as vinyals you have to print it
beforehand in warehouses for it to count as far as on billboard in the hip-hop landscape let's just
say that if you print out something beforehand as far as its initial release people are going to
bootleg it at all times as far as in the hip-hop industry so that that is why a lot of hip-hop
artists wait till after the music is released to put out vinals and which is why it doesn't happen
before so if you wanted to know why the two differences as far as other genres being able to put out
music on vinals beforehand and have you pre-save it's because if hip-hop artists did that somehow in some
way it just ends up leaking i don't know how so that being said click my link to my bio let me know
on one of my social medias what do you think about blake's show and his latest ep
his latest EP as far as state country or die trying and what do you think about Texas and if you listen to the whole EP
what is your favorite track off of the EP and will you be listening to for recreational use only
when it comes out May 9th 2025
