September 20th, 2019 is the last time this group put out an album and the title of it was nine.
Now, they were still active throughout the period to now with the latest single being called edging,
but that was last year, October 14th, 2022.
And they are under Viking Wizard Eyes LLC under exclusive license to Columbia Records.
it says a division or something
but I can't see it
so anyways
the biggest thing you need to know
is that we're talking about Blink
182 ladies and gentlemen
yes
the group that made
all the small things
what's my age again
and I miss you
so technically
they have some hits right
and they're probably
one of the more prominent bands
in Southern California
as far as the punk scene
and
it's basically a blast from the past
not to be disrespectful but they was more prominent
in the early 2000s
nowadays not so much
but they are back again
they still have a humongous fan base
and you never know what could happen
with this being the lead up to
I don't know if it's a lead up to an album
so this is all we have to go off of
so anyways
Blink 182, if you don't know, it's these three people right here.
Shameless plug to my Analytic Dreams video podcast and Spotify to see a video version.
They've released two new songs and a combination of one.
One more time and more than you know.
Ahead, they've released this to roll out their album.
So I guess the album is coming.
They also have a music video with the band performing in various locations.
including a bank vault.
So if you want to see some GTA type of performance,
then I'll definitely check that out.
The lyrics, of course,
reflects the challenges faced by the band members
such as Travis Barker's 2008,
Plane Crash, and Mark Hopper's cancer diagnosis.
So they get deep on this track.
And these songs are part of Blink 182's upcoming album
titled One More Time,
set to be released October 20th,
and this marks the return of the original lineup of Tom DeLong,
Pause.
Mark Hoppice and Travis Barker with their first album together since Neighborhoods in 2011.
So basically, the album that I talked about that came out September of 2019 must have been a different lineup because they're saying this is the first album from the original lineup since 2011 album titled Neighborhoods.
That's very interesting.
Also, Blink 182 announced that the reunion in October 20,
2022 is embarking on a new world tour in March.
The reunion in October 2020.
The reunion, announced the reunion.
Oh, the story they announced it last year.
I don't know.
Maybe that meant 2023.
That may be a typo.
Anyways, the music video, one more time,
features scenes from the band's iconic music videos and performances,
more than you know, continues the band's signature sound.
That's subjective.
I haven't listened to the track, so I'm definitely not saying that part.
And then that's basically it.
Also, the question is why it takes a lot of, let's just say,
dramatic events for these three to get together once more.
I don't know too much about Blink 182.
I'm pretty sure if I play one of their hits,
then I would recognize maybe one of them.
I'm not much of a punk rock type person.
but I have heard about Travis Barker
and that's simply because of this show right here
when I tell you girls love watching
keeping up with the Kardashians this is not
an understatement at in the slightest
Travis Barker I only know from the Kardashian show
I know that may be disrespectful to some Travis Barker fans out there
but hey at the end of day that's just my personal perspective
and that's all I know him from also Blink 182
of course like these three guys
It's the first time since 2011 that they came together for an album.
And to promote it, they started putting posters in Toronto.
With lyrics in the background, of course, you can read it right here.
I just say the first two, do I have to die to hear you miss me?
Goodness, they're coming for the jugular, aren't they?
Anyways, this is the promotion.
Looks like some, I ain't going to lie, this is as far as product placement goes,
I guess
I don't know if this is the best product placement
at some ran down gas station
you know no shame to whoever runs
this store I don't even know if it's a gas station
it looks like sometimes
it's bars on the windows
may not be the best
environment let's just say that
so anyways
that's basically all I have for my Blink 182 coverage
of course I mostly cover hip hop
but I like to get outside of the
genre just to see who else is impacting the charts and we'll see if this actually ends up
impacting the charts because like i said this is the first song of 2023 so we'll see what this
actually ends up doing and if it's a flop or maybe it's a hit so anyways click my link tree in my
bio let me know one of my social medias what do you think about the band coming the guys coming back
together one more time for an album since 2011 and what is your
favorite memory or song of blink 182
