Starting point is 00:00:00 Now, there's no way that you thought that I was going to review new music and not cover the notorious BIG. I mean, just off my podcast name alone, you should know that anytime notorious BIG drops, I'm going to cover it. So anyways, he's not on this track for very long because, I mean, I think it's what, 15 seconds he's on this track and he's listed as a whole feature. I think it's his estate, you know what I'm trying to get the royalties up, which, you know, never mad at but at the end of the day more like a sample than a feature but you know hey
Starting point is 00:00:35 teach his own so you also have yg tidal a sign and some other guy on the track no disrespect i just don't know who there is and for the most part this is a single for the soundtrack fast x and that's the latest fast and furious is coming out i mean i don't know when that's coming out when is that coming out i don't know but i'm not looking at it because, I mean, it's a movie, and I don't cover movies. I mean, I do cover Marvel movies, but, you know, that's a little different. So Fast X is one of the movies that's coming out. Another addition to the Fast and Furious franchise has been going on for like a trillion years by now.
Starting point is 00:01:14 But for the most part, I keep saying that. But what I really need you to know is that Fast and Furious is not going anywhere. And music like YG and Notorious BIG is always not going anywhere because somebody is going to always need that hood anthony them and somebody's always going to need that iconic figure to put their name in front of the marketing and promotion so that people will buy it. There's no reason that notorious BIG should be listed as a feature when he's only 15 seconds on this track. And this is coming from a person whose podcast name is the notorious Mass Effect simply because of notorious BIG. Oh, and Mass Effect, the video game. You know, I may don't get that twisted. But, yeah, YG and Todd Dahliazai.
Starting point is 00:02:02 on this track with some other guy. I don't really see the appeal to the overall anthem for Fast and Furious. I feel like they could have used somebody else who falls in line. Like, why not go get Don Tolliver? Like the last time that Don Tolliver came out with the track for Fast and Furious, it was amazing. I mean, it had Don Tolliver, it had Lotto. Like literally, back when Lotto wasn't as big as she was now, it was Don Tulliver. it was Lotto.
Starting point is 00:02:33 I think it was called. I think it was called like Fast Lane or something. That track was like a classic. I don't know why they didn't just bring him back for another track and just tried it again because, I mean, if Don't Oliver fits the vibe that you're going for, why switch it up? But who's going to say no to a notorious BIG feature? And obviously, YG and Todd Dahliazine couldn't do it.
Starting point is 00:02:53 But anyways, this is the latest single for the Fast X movie coming up. It's titled Let's Ride. So let me know what that does for you. to 15 seconds the notorious b ig hopefully that holds you over but uh click my link you in my bio let me know one of my social medias what do you think about the track let's ride and how long do you think they'll keep making fast and furious movies
