Getting into one of the more prominent contemporary Christian artists in the world,
and that's of course Brandon Lake as he has a new track out titled Hard Fought Hallelujah.
Now of course, from first glance, we already know Brandon Lake from contemporary Christian worship as far as that specific genre.
And he's also made Heartland Rock.
He's also made soul and he's made pop tracks.
But as far as him specifically in his career, he broke out where he debuted in 2015 and then signed to Bethel Music back in 2019 when he co-wrote, this is a move.
Now, of course, his notable collaborations is with Elevation Worship, Maverick City music.
And of course, now he has collaborated with the one and only jelly roll.
As if you don't know, beautifully broken is currently the 40th.
most played album in the world right now and jelly roll is under universal music group that say consistently
throughout the podcast is the big dogs and the music industry only for the simple fact that they have
54% of the entire music market share and that's on the low side as far as market share universal music
group has 54% usually is higher but that's where it's at now Sony music entertainment has 28%
Warner Music Group has 11% and then the others, which is the smaller labels and the independence,
they have 7%. So when I consistently say that Universal Music Group is the big dogs in the music
industry is for a reason. Now, of course, Brandon Lake is under exclusive license to Provident
label group, a division of Sony Music Entertainment. And their latest collaboration as far as
Brandon Lake and Jellyroll, having this track, Hard Fight, Hallelujah, is,
very pivotal to Brandon Lake's rollout as he is putting out an entire body of work in 55 days,
21 hours, 42 minutes in 50, 49, 48, all y'all get the point.
He's putting out the album in 55 days.
So June 13, 2025, Brandon Lake will be putting out his album King of Hearts.
Now, currently, when it comes to this album, you can pre-save it on whatever DSP you use or as far as Apple,
I believe you can download it or pre-download it as far as pre-saving it.
So for those who are not aware of Brandon Lake, just know he has five Grammys currently 10 nominations at the Grammys, but he has five award wins.
Multiple GMA Dove Awards, including Songwriter of the Year back in 2021, which I always say as far as songwriting and the ability to put words together is very, it's very, it's very,
pivotal to the whole creation process because I think the most creative part of making a song is of
course one the producer because he constructs the whole world that the artist goes in and paints as far as
the canvas right you have the producer laying the foundation and the artist adds on top of that
the songwriter is not always the executor of the lyrics as we've seen when you know i'm covering
hip-hop we've found out the hard way that some of these music
musicians have songwriters on deck to give them pivotal lyrics that they could execute to their
fan base. Right. So when you win an award for songwriter of the year, just know that's also
attributing to Brandon Lake's pen, let alone his ability to execute his songs. So that being said,
some of his top albums, if you're not used to Brandon Lake, is closer that came out 2016,
House of Miracles back in 2020. Cost of many, you know, the coast.
of many colors that was released in 2023 so two years ago and that went number one on billboard as far as the
specific christian slash gospel albums chart now you already know how Kanye feels about that one
anyways with that being said hard fought hallelujah is out now on all dsps him having jelly roll on the
track would definitely help especially for his rollout because it shows jelly roll first and then
Brandon Lake so I would think this is Brandon Lake song but Jelly Row popping up first is very
interesting as we don't know jelly roll for a lot of contemporary Christian type of music but as far as
him being with Brandon Lake it definitely makes sense as far as the mental health advocate
that Jelly Roll is and the combining of a being with a Christian artist it makes sense as far as
across collaborative effort. Now, when it comes to Brandon Lake, of course, he's had some success
on the charts and more specifically on the hot Christian charts as he's debuted at number one back
in November 23rd, 2024, and it was his sixth number one on that specific chart. So some would say
that he is the epitome of what a commercially successful Christian artist looks like. Now, with that
being said him combining with jelly roll who like i said has the 40th most play album in the world with
beautifully broken and jelly roll also has the 99th most play a track in the world with cane brown
titled haunted so these two are definitely going to make numbers on the charts this song is out now
on all dsps it just came out so with that being said click my link sure in my bio let me know in one of
my social media is what do you think about hard fought hallelujah by brandon lake and jelly roll and
what was your favorite part of the track?
And also, if you're new to Brandon Lake, are you more willing to give his contemporary
Christian worship music a listen?
