If there was a person on this earth that put more respect on BTS before Rory Ring dropped,
I don't know if you could find it.
But then, you know what I'm saying?
Because at the end of the day, the day got in.
Shepard.
All right, my fault.
So in all seriousness, when it comes to my coverage of BTS, of course I've been covering
this group for quite some time now, to the point where I've been covering them at this
point in time, probably about five to six years.
So as far as the individual run for about,
four years while the members were completing the military service uh yeah the mandatory military service
the main thing i was wanted to say especially when it comes to this album is the extravagant lints that
bts in their major label which is big hit entertainment no my fault big hit music the lens that they've
went to to make sure people know that bt s is back after a four year hiatus is
extravagant and very immaculate if i do say so myself as the reason why i say that is because there's this
a specific thing with netflix and you're probably thinking to yourself well what thing are you
referring to dreams well i'm glad you asked you guys as netflix and bt s partnered for this full
length documentary directed by bio nougian hopefully i'm saying that right known for the greatest night in
pop and stringer produce in collaboration with hybrid entertainment and this machine and of course when you
look at what the documentary is going to entail it has unprecedented behind the scenes access to btas as the
seven members r m gin sugar j hope jimmin v and junk cook reunite in los angeles after complete
leading mandatory military service and solo projects so throughout all the individual members going on tour
because of course when i broke down bt s uh i think it was a yesterday or two days ago basically i was
talking about their individual outputs how objectively speaking junk cook had the best no had the
better numbers out of the group as far as individually with his album and doesn't mean that the other
individual members didn't do as well as far as first week sales junk just had the best first week sales
but when it comes as them as a collective they are unmatched as far as popularity to the point where
i dare bring up a specific event that happens in american culture that we just had a non-american
artist headline as far as the super bowl halftime show now if i was to give free consultation
Shepherd.
All right, I can't get free consultation.
But basically, y'all know I'm about to go.
When it comes to BTS, it doesn't get bigger than them.
And if there was any artist that puts immense, I would say, dare I say, premier focus,
basically unwavering focus on choreography, I would say it's K-pop musicians.
And the reason why I say this is because the immense practice it takes for the choreography.
the way that is not even comparable.
It's not even comparable to anybody else in the music industry as far as the choreography.
And if you don't believe me, just watch any K-pop musician's choreography as far as the average.
I'm talking about every K-pop musician and compared to the average in any other genre.
So anyways, with that being said, more about this documentary.
It chronicles their emotional journey of doubt, laughter, rediscovery, and creativity, wild
recording their fifth studio album, which of course is already rang set the release March 20th.
Now, when it comes to highlighting their return to studio work as a collective, because they've
been making music individually. Because if people are wondering if you're out of the loop and
don't know how that happened as far as the mandatory military service, they staggered it to
where when certain artists went on the mandatory mandatory military service, other members
would be available to go on the individual run. And that's how they staggered it.
so that when the last member was done,
they could all get back together,
but it wasn't that big of a hiatus
for fans of the members of BTS,
not just BTS as a whole.
So when it comes to more details about the documentary,
you have highlighting of their return to studio work,
making new music,
their quote-unquote comeback of the decade,
which you would think it's,
you would think they're exaggerating, right?
You probably think,
oh Netflix is just glazing.
They're just doing absolute
PG podcast.
Basically, they're not glazing.
When you look at the pre-sales,
you come to realize that BTS
is one of the biggest musicians in the game currently.
As it's very highly anticipated
when you look at pre-sales,
pre-saves, let me see if I can find this.
So when you look at the actual pre-saves for R.
um, R-E rank is set the debut with four million. Yeah, okay, so shattered records with over four
million stock pre-orders in just one week. Now the last time this happened, ladies and gentlemen,
in case you was wondering, it's Taylor Swift. You want to know how many units Taylor Swift moved
in her first week with the life of a showgirl that was number one. It may be broken by RRR.
ring by the time this comes out but basically taylor swift did four million units in her first week to
give you any type of indication on what bt s is about to do or r e r rang just know that when it comes to
the immense the extravagant the very flamboyant the right word i ain't trying to cancel see you've got to look
this up right now hold up okay yeah there we go so it was a shout to me after a little micky research
safe to say i'm using the word right very flamboyant marketing strategy that has everybody incaptivated
ready and anticipating their release of arving ring you come to realize not only is the four
the over four million pre-says a huge deal but when his album comes out it may have a
k-pop demon hunter's type of effect as far as staying in a top three everywhere
for the foreseeable future you know how i always say that taylor swift is the biggest gangster in
music industry the last time we've had anybody even come close to taylor swiss first week sales
was morgan walling i think he had around like 500 something thousand first week
bt s is on pace to have at least four million units first week just to put in perspective
on how big bt s is compared to the field the only comparable artist to be able to be able to be
BTS is Taylor Swift.
So anyways, getting back into the Netflix, you can assume, not assume, officially,
it will be this documentary, this Netflix documentary for BTS will be streaming exclusively
on Netflix starting March 27th.
Of course, the album RRIG rang comes out March 20th.
But when it comes to the actual documentary, it comes out March 27.
So if the album comes out and you're like, where is the documentary?
Then my brother?
And my brother, you are not paying attention.
You guys.
See, that's the problem.
So the documentary does not come out at the same time as the album.
The documentary comes out seven days after the album.
So March 20th for Rory Rain, the album, March 27th for the Netflix documentary for BT.
Safe to say, this is going to be one of the greatest notorious mass effects that we've ever seen.
And I can't wait to witness it.
So that being said, click my link to you in my bio.
let me know on one of my social medias what do you think about bt s and will you be listening to the
album and of course will you be watching the documentary title btsd the return when it premieres on
netflix march 27th
