Starting point is 00:00:04 Safe to say that no Shibuzi kicking will be happening around here. As when you look at the charts, interestingly enough, the manager that said that very racist statement, I might add, at the country music awards, you know, where they, you know what I'm saying? That stuff gets off. That flies with them. But as far as Shibuzi and its country music, I just have to point out that when you look at the top 10, you know, besides Teddy Swim. lose control that's been on the charts for 98 weeks a bar song by Shibuzi has been on the charts for 64 weeks and not only has it been on the charts for 64 weeks but it has been in the top seven for every single one of those weeks but then you know what I'm saying I was like damn
Starting point is 00:00:51 look at the state of hip hop like what's going on so since the country music awards wants to be racist and say we're kicking Shibuzzi I'm gonna give him his flowers and let it be known that Shibuzzi is definitely kicking some great country music and it's been crossing over to the point where at this point in time probably one of the better tracks analytically speaking and quality-wise because i always say the two don't correlate but with this specific in this specific instance i believe it does as the quality and the engagement factor for this particular track i think a bar song by shibuzzi is one of the best songs in the past five years now that being said of course this specific segment is for burner boy
Starting point is 00:01:34 so with that out the way born or boy is back again with the album titled no sign of weakness and this came out Thursday as far as this particular year and when you think of the album it's 16 tracks 47 minutes in length and it was released under spaceship bad habit under Atlantic records
Starting point is 00:01:58 so those are the subsidiaries and you have Atlantic records and then of course it's under the Atlantic Recording Corporation for the world, excluding Africa. And you probably wonder, why in the world would they exclude Africa, pun intended? Well, if you think about it, overseas artists need a certain amount of U.S. streams to even be certified by R.I.A. So now, a lot of the labels who main purpose is to get overseas artists, they realize that they don't need any help in their specific region.
Starting point is 00:02:31 So if it's excluding Africa, it means they already have that dominance and they already have the leverage in that specific region. We just need your help crossing over. Hence, recording corporation excluding Africa. So now Atlantic is helping Burnaboy cross over into the states in other countries, of course. But with that being said, this specific album is going to do numbers. And of course, when you look at the landscape of music right now, it's a lot of. of big dogs dropping and i mean a lot of them i mean justin beaver Travis got uh just to name a couple right drake did just release his single we actually don't know where that's going to end up on the
Starting point is 00:03:16 charts because of course daisies by justin beber is going crazy what did i miss is projected to be the second most play track in the world but if daisies ends up being as popular as people think is going to be that means that or by Alex Warren and Daisy by Justin Bieber would be fighting for the number one and number two spot. And what did I miss by Drake will subsequently be slid to the third slot at the best case scenario, right? Because of course, Travis Scott just dropped. Never know what type of track off of his album is going to blow up. Anyways, getting back in the burner boy, the reason why I say that is because the landscape of music is very important,
Starting point is 00:04:01 especially being under Atlantic Recording Corporation because they're definitely looking at the entire landscape of music and who's impacting the masses on a global scale and who are we competing with, especially this specific week. This week has a lot of competition when it comes to the top of the charts. Now that out the way, the specific reason why I brought up Shibuzi at the beginning is for the simple fact that Change Your Mind by Shibuzi has Burn a boy featuring, you already guessed it, Shibuzi. As when it comes to Change Your Mind featuring Shibuzi, that is one of the few features on this album as Travis Scott is featured on Ta-Tat-Tah. Mick Jagger is featured on Empty Chairs. Where in the world? Mick Jagger, how old is that man? Hold up. I don't know. I don't even. I don't even. I don't even. I I'm not even trying to ain't age shame. I just, that completely threw me off. Mick Jagger is 81 years old. Goodness gracious, man. Hey, that's a blessing, ain't it?
Starting point is 00:04:57 You know what I'm saying? That's a blessing. So with that being said, yeah, there's not a lot of features on this album. You have Stro May on this album as far as the track Parton, and that's it. The rest is Burner Boy, 16 tracks long, 47 minutes in Lint.
Starting point is 00:05:14 So when it comes to a runtime, I don't think it's too short. I don't think it's too long. I think it's just right. Pause. You guys. But at the end of the day, you get the point. So Burnaboy is actually on tour right now. It started about two days ago.
Starting point is 00:05:31 And when it comes to his tour, it's titled to Live in a Giant Centred Stage. Is that what it's called? No, it's not. It's called No Sign of Weakness World Tour. And of course, why does it say live in a giant stage? center stage i guess it's like the subtitle but whatever uh it started two days ago july 11th and it's going until december 18th and he's finishing it off in toronto ontario now wonder who could pop up on december 17th and december 18th for burner boy anyways so with that being said uh
Starting point is 00:06:06 burner boy is back again with his album i can't wait to dive into it i haven't heard it yet i've I've dived into the Justin Bieber album. I've diving to, there's like a lot of music that's dropped this week. It's been insane to the point where it's not even just music where I cover it, let y'all know what's going on. Well, let y'all know that it's happening and then I go to listen to something else. As far as this specific week, there's been a lot of albums, a lot of projects that I've been diving into completely. Whether it's a Travis Scott project, whether it's the Push the Tea project, whether it's the Justin Bieber project. Those are three projects I just named.
Starting point is 00:06:37 I had to listen to those fully. That's the amount of anticipation I've acquired. for the push-a-tee and Travis Scott album not the Justin Bieber because of course I came out of nowhere but you know with Justin Bieber you have to listen to it because he's been gone for like five years so when it comes to Burner Boy that's another album I do want to get into at some point so I want to make it seem like this is one of those I'm covering I'm just going on to the next one this is actually an album that I'm going to be listening to and diving into because I do like the energy of Afrobees
Starting point is 00:07:08 I do enjoy the infectious just positive type of music. Now, I know when you say like positive, you're like, well, he's talking about this, that, and this. You know, I need to just certain topics and subject matters is like R-rated, right? But as far as Afrobees, the energy that it has, and especially when it gets into more of the dance hall Brazilian funk type rhythm, I believe it just has his own unique energy that makes it into a very positive vibe in my opinion, no matter where. they're saying so you'll probably just have to listen to afa beats to understand what i'm saying but if you
Starting point is 00:07:46 ever listen to thames if you ever listen to whiz kid then you probably understand exactly what i'm saying but as far as the change your mind track i think that's going to be the stand off uh the stand out off of this album having shibuzzi on it helps out a lot because if you don't know shibuzzi is one of the more popular artists in the world right now a bar song by shibuzzi like i already says the fourth most played track in the world been on the truze been on the charts for about 64 weeks. It hasn't slid lower than seven, right? So it's one of the more impactful tracks in the past five years. Now when we get to albums, right? When we get into albums, Shibuzi has the 10th most play album in the world as far as where I've been isn't where I'm
Starting point is 00:08:28 going. And that album, so it's July 13th, 2025. And when you look at Shibuzzi and when you look at where I've been isn't where I'm going, you come to realize that album came out May 31st, 24. Ladies and gentlemen, it is July 13th, 2025. That particular album is definitely a classic as far as engagement-wise. Now, I always say just because you sell a lot does not mean that's high quality and just because you don't sell. It doesn't mean that it's just straight up garbage. The two don't correlate. But when it comes to this album, it was my favorite album of last year. And engagement-wise, it's seemingly people's fate, a lot of other people's favorite album of last year. So as far as 2024 as one of the albums that has really stood the test of time as far as being in the top 10
Starting point is 00:09:15 specifically then you come to realize shibuzzi also has good news that's the 29th most play track amen that's the 56 most play track and then seven and then uh home but that's big so that's big extra plug track but it's feature in shibuzzi and that track is the 77 most played track in the real so now i am inclined to believe that the shibuzzi track off of this burner boy album and of course bernher boy can carry an album by himself but as far as analytically i'm willing to put my money on or just say that it has a higher or has the highest potential of blowing up as far as change your mind with burn a boy and shabuzzi but with that being said click my link to your bio let me know one of my social media is what do you think about burner boy and this latest album no signs of weakness have
Starting point is 00:10:08 you heard it have you listened to it and will you be getting into the album soon and also if you do what is your favorite track after listening to the album
