It is time to get into the video game that consistently is the bestseller year after year.
The only exception was when Hogwarts Legacy came out last year, which, surprisingly enough, a single player RPG ended up beating out Call of Duty as far as the bestselling game of that particular year.
But usually not including 2023, Call of Duty is the top selling in the world.
So I don't know if they took last year personal like MJ in the last dance, but they came back with Avengers.
Now, of course, Hogwarts legacy overtopping, well, I don't even know if that's a word, but basically achieving more as far as video game sales in 2023.
I don't know.
I don't know if that lit a fire under them.
I don't know if, I forget the other Ubisoft shooter.
That's how crazy.
I forgot.
That's how relevant that game is.
I totally forgot the competition.
Ubisoft shoot.
X-Define.
That's what it was called.
I don't know if X-Difiant led a fire under them.
Because if you don't know, X-Difiant had a lot of X-Activision developers as far as them transferring into this video game as far as X-Difian and calling it the call of duty killer.
Now, of course, where have we heard that before?
I swear every new first-person shooter that has just a glimpse at success as far as being a mainstream shooter calls itself a cod killer.
Well, ladies and gentlemen, let's just say it wasn't.
An ex-defiant is actually nowhere to be found as far as the top 100 list as far as video games play, which is very interesting.
general because yeah i thought it was a cod killer but i don't see it killing anything even in the top
100 so that's you know that's unfortunate anyways black op six we have to get into why in the world
such a repetitive franchise decides that this year is the year to introduce something that's going
to captivate the entire gamer fan base because when i tell you the omni movement it's probably
one of the best innovative mechanics they've ever put into a call of duty game i am not i'm not
exaggerating i'm not it's not hyperbo hyperbole it's not me talking out of my you know what black
ops six introducing the omni movement is literally one of the more innovative features that call
a duty has ever implemented into a video game so of course with black op six and the innovative
features, the sales obviously followed as all we want as gamers and consumers is just for our game
developers to actually try year in and year out, especially if you're consistently successful.
Some will hope that that revenue would be used to upgrade the product that you give to your
consumers, right? So, lo and behold, the year they finally tried and implemented one of the
most innovative features, Call it to Blackout Six, set the right?
set the franchise record as far as total players hours played number of total matches and even
was so successful to the point the CEO satya nadella i think that's how you said came out and said
that black ops six is definitively definitively the biggest call of duty release ever
basically had him come out and say that
because of course
when you account the sales
increasing 60%
on PlayStation and Steam
compared to 2023's
Modern Warfare 3
which obviously had
his problems especially with the negative feedback
for the campaign
you could probably understand why
the CEO will come out and say that this is such a success
and not only a success
the biggest call of duty
release ever so
that is why I say the Omni movement
is very, very impactful as far as the overall trajectory of this video game.
Because right now, Call of Duty is not only the most played game on Xbox,
but it's the most played game on PlayStation.
And it's the seventh most played game on Steam.
So overall, let's just say it's doing pretty well when it comes to the statistics and the overall analytics.
And I think it's for the same.
fact that if you actually try whenever you're putting out new content year after
year I think you will be rewarded in the way that Activision is seeing right now
so that being said of course for the Xbox players out there do realize that
Microsoft's game pass strategy as far as this potential game is interesting for
this simple fact that they wanted to offset potential revenue losses
So I believe that Blackop Six was not, I don't know if it was included in the game pass free.
It was like a free trial, but they didn't include Call of Duty in that.
And of course, behind the scenes, they raised the price a little bit as far as the game pass because of Call of Duty coming out.
So they definitely had their interesting tactics, which Game Pass is such a bang for your bow.
buck type of system that I'm not mad if they increased the price just a little bit for the biggest
release ever in collar duty history they probably already knew that this game was going to be
different compared to most I mean blame ex-difiant blame Hogwarts legacy but the way they came out
and just completely took over the video game realm I don't know if we've seen that in a while
as far as from call of duty having this type of purpose as far as taking over the the gaming
industry. So anyways, the overall story as far as the campaign, I actually played it. And if you go
to Analytic Dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio, you'll see right now that
basically I have, what's that, five, six, basically like seven and a half hours of me playing the
campaign. And let me tell you something. When I tell you that this is atrocious gameplay,
Just know you're coming for hilarious commentary, but as far as the actual gameplay is considered,
they said this campaign takes you about six to eight hours.
Ladies and gentlemen, I'm running on eight, and I don't even know if I'm close to the end.
So that should tell you the amount that I'm just yapping throughout the entire gameplay walkthrough,
which I think y'all enjoy it, especially for people who just enjoy, you know, commentary
throughout the campaign because some people love to watch others.
experience the game before they end up purchasing it.
And let me tell you, I was definitely having a lot of experiences throughout that campaign
to the point where I can now give my own review of the actual campaign.
And I would say, I'm not going to spoil it, but there's a certain section that's more of the horror aspect, right?
And there's this particular section in that map.
For those who play the campaign, y'all know exactly what I'm talking about,
where there's this horror mechanic implemented where you're,
turn away and things get closer.
I'm just going to put it like that.
I'm not going to spoil it for you, but
I'm not joking when I tell you all,
that's one of the greatest campaign missions
I've ever played in Call the Duty.
So, along with the Omni movement,
along with everybody enjoying
the zombies, especially with the
Easter eggs and just the different maps.
I mean, sometimes you just have to sit back
and realize that
multiplayer
zombies
and campaign
well I don't know about the campaign
but multiplayer and zombies
could be
could be
its own video game
and it's all released
in one package
the reason why I'm saying that
is because
whenever GTA comes out
and they inevitably split up
the story mode
with the online mode
I just want y'all to know
Microsoft
Call of Duty
gave it to you all in one package.
No ditty.
So that is why sometimes people complain about the file size.
But honestly, this is the one time while I'm looking at Call of Duty.
And I'm just noticing that this is ultimately one of the best packages we've ever received as far as in totality.
Multiplayer campaign zombies are all hitting on all syllabus.
lenders and i don't think that's a coincidence i do believe that after there wasn't the top selling
game of 2023 they was like okay let's stop pulling punches and actually uh put some effort into the game
right so with that being said i think black op six would end up going down as one of the best
call of duty games of all time there's an extensive list of call of duty games and when i tell you that
Black Ops 6 beats out majority of those, it beats it out by landslide.
And it's probably up there with Black Ops too.
That's how good I think there's campaign zombies in multiplayer packages in totality.
So with that being said, of course, when it comes to the overall reception, everybody was
giving us a 9 out of 10, like IGN gave Blackop 6 and 9 out of 10 saying it's a stellar
return with high praise for campaign and multiplayer.
Pure Xbox gave it a 90 out of 100 praised that game pass availability and game content and then tech radar
gave it a 9 out of 10 citing its thrilling campaign and polished multiplayer
I don't think I can emphasize enough that Call of Duty as a franchise has surpassed will have surpassed
500 million units as far as like video game sales so they are inevitably and
unequivocally the big dog when it comes to the video game industry as far as a franchise so
to see them have this type of resurgence and effort into a product and it actually comes out
above average to the point where I don't know if call of duty's ever been nominated for game
of the year I would not be upset if black ops six had a nomination for game of the year
that's how far I would go as far as complimenting this installment of call of duty I think
last time a call of duty video game was even in a category of high magnitude was when call of duty
for modern warfare uh in 2007 was nominated and i think they was nominated for best action game
at the game awards that was 2019 but um call of duty for modern warfare was also nominated in 2007 but as far as
the Game Award show, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2019 was nominated, which I don't even know why
that was nominated. Like, what are we doing? So anyways, yeah, despite all the research I was doing
as far as finding if they've ever received or even won game of the year, it seems like they
haven't even gotten close. So Blackop Six, I do believe they could receive a nomination for Game
of the Year. That's how great this game is. I'm not even a Call of Duty head as far as playing
Call the Duty as my only game or even when it comes out, it's more of if it's fire, I'll play it and try it out.
Well, guess what?
Blackop Six is beyond fire.
And there's stuff that I haven't even gotten to.
Like what you see right here as far as analytic dreams video on Spotify, all this, all of this makes you realize why the file size is so big.
I mean, you could do whole entire story Easter eggs and zombie mode, do Easter eggs, a campaign, which I was doing in my gameplay walkthrough, you know,
shameless plug analytic dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with audio and just type in
calla duty and it should pop up anyways easter eggs and campaign whole easter egg and story modes
and zombies and then you get to the multiplayer and the omni movement just makes the game beyond
enjoyable like it's it's like everybody's jumping around but it's not the advanced warfare type of
jumping around like we actually feel still grounded just making a lot of movements that's obviously not
normal like if you're shooting a regular gun you're not going to have that much aim and steady aim
while you're sliding around but as far as the arcade field it's not too much but it's it's just right
you know it's like the it's the goldilocks story and the three bears i think that's what it was called
i don't know excuse my ignorance but you know how they just going around be like oh this is too
much. This is not enough. Blackop six, when it comes to the movement, it's just right. I wouldn't
be mad if they use this Omni movement for the next three to four years. That's how impactful
Omni movement has been for this particular video game. So if you do want to know the file size,
after me just giving you all the different tidbits as far as how great the different offerings is,
in one package the file size is 216 gigabytes now now I know that's going to be a turnoff for some let me tell you there's this thing
that you can use um for your console that I have this as well it's basically it's an extender for uh
the PlayStation and the Xbox and I'm trying to look this up because you're going to need this I mean if you're going to if you're going to play call of duty
you're going to need this regardless so it's a it's a storage drive so as far as and for most gamers
y'all probably already know this but i just want to tell you all that um sd storage expansion is what
you should look for and i'm gonna tell y'all the one that i have because i want to recommend a brand
that i don't use myself so um oh this right here okay cool so let me just pull this right quick
Basically, this is what I'm talking about.
Now for my gamers out there, you already know what, you know,
this is, but you know, for the average consumer out there,
you may need this going into the future.
Now, of course, when you see the price point, don't faint, right?
This is just a max terabytes you can get for the SSD.
I should have showed y'all a cheaper one.
But this is the max you can get.
So there's an eight terabyte expansion that you can put
directly into your console now of course there's other options so no need to pass out there's other
options available um i don't know why i pulled up the eight terabyte one let's do uh let's just do
two terabytes so y'all don't uh yeah yeah y'all about to have a heart attack um let me see okay yeah
yeah this one's probably a little bit more reasonable the reason why i'm telling y'all that is
what telling you're going to play call of duty as a gamer you're going to need more uh storage for other games
Let me take this off.
All right, here we go.
There we go.
So no need to have a heart attack and pass out.
Here's the actual, realistically, this is probably what you would get, right?
I was just showing y'all the one I got.
But so this one right here, the 2 terabyte expansion, y'all see it.
It's up on the screen.
Analytic Dreams video on Spotify to see the video along with the audio.
But essentially it expands the amount of storage in your console about
two terabytes right and the way you put it in your console is very simplistic to the point where
you wonder why Sony didn't put it in their console in the first place but then you realize that
the price point it was probably going to have to sell the base model if they did have this at like a
two to three hundred dollar increase so now you could do it yourself buy one of these do it yourself
put into your console and it's literally a slot dedicated for these type of uh chips so anyways that's
the biggest thing i wanted to tell y'all because um
You're going to need it.
I mean,
2006 gigabytes for one specific game,
it's a lot.
It's definitely a lot.
I'm not going to sit here and act like it's not a lot.
But campaign,
multiplayer, zombies,
it's not like they're not giving you anything
in return for all of this storage.
So that being said,
of course,
something else I was wanting to get into
was that Call of Duty
has been setting all type of records.
We already talked about that.
and the concurrent players as far as mom's looking at steam it had a 24 hour peak of 230,000 that is insane and then um all-time peak is 491,000 showcasing its strong hold as far as its uh continuous release on platforms because um black ops 6th i forget when it came out uh october 25th so october 25th is when black ops 6 came out november 16th and it still has
as around 230,000 players playing time and timeout as far as in the 24-hour span.
So safe to say, this is probably one of Call of Duty's most successful games of all time,
which is saying something because of how year after year, it always tops the charts as far as the best-selling game.
So yeah, with that being said, click my link to you in my bio.
Let me know on one of my social medias.
What do you think about Call of Duty Blackop 6?
And at the end of the day, what is your favorite game mode when it comes to Black
op Six?
Is it campaign, multiplayer, or for people like me, zombies?
