Chino Pacas (Cristian Humberto Ávila Vega, born 2006 in Guanajuato) broke through in 2023 with the TikTok-viral “El Gordo Trae el Mando,” becoming the youngest Mexican on the Billboard Hot 100 at age 16 before signing to Street Mob/Geffen. Calle 24, led by Diego Millán from Chihuahua, built momentum through regional Mexican and urban sierreño tracks under the same label. Released December 22, 2023 via Street Mob/Cinq Music and featured on ONDEADO$ (2024), the track about a secretive affair marks their third joint effort. Analytic Dreamz details its RIAA 5× Platinum (Latin) status, nearly 378 million Spotify streams, over 100 million combined YouTube views, sustained playlist dominance, and organic multi-year streaming success across Latin markets.Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/analytic-dreamz-notorious-mass-effect/exclusive-contentPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

Shepard, promise me you'll tell them to subscribe for ad free content.
Now of course over here at notorious Mass Effect, you already know that we dive into the gaming and music IPs that notoriously affect the masses.
So with that being said, this specific subject, this specific segment, we'll be focusing on the five-time platinum Latin certificated song that is Apaga L-Sel.
now of course there's a plethora of apaga l-cell type of tracks percolating throughout DSPs but when it comes
at this specific apaga track you have calais 24 and chino pack as far as the two artists on this particular
track and when you look at the marketing strategies behind this specific track in general you come to realize
ladies and gentlemen it's been three years yes you heard me
correctly it's been three years as this specific track came out in 2023 more specifically uh
december december of 2023 i thought i had the actual date yeah december 22nd 2023 and of course it was put
under the label street mob slash sync music and with that being said the main thing i want to get at
is of course me putting the latin on r i double a certification because it's the r i double a latin
certification you're probably thinking what's the biggest difference between the two well I'm
glad you asked as you guys you guys when it comes to Latin R I double A certification versus regular
R IAA certification regular RIAA certification regular RIAA is basically has increased metrics that you have
to hit for gold platinum and yeah for gold and platinum and with that being said you have
gold which is 500,000 units platinum is
1 million and of course with 150 streams it depends on a DSP but usually it's 1400 streams when you look at the
regular DSPs but of course when it comes to people purchasing certain music on Apple that counts as a
unit so when you look at Spotify specifically 1400 streams to equal to one physical unit now
of course when it comes to Latin R I double double a certification that has lower thresholds as far as
30,000 for gold 60,000 for platinum and of course 600,000 for diamond. Now the main thing that I'm
pointing out when it comes to these discrepancies is that it doesn't mean that Calais 24 is a
lesser known artist when looking at the field because currently he has three tracks in the top
50 in Mexico as Apaga El Selle is currently the 22nd most played track in Mexico. No
is currently the 34th most played track in Mexico and of course Yo Wai La Luna is currently
the 38th most play track in Mexico and all of those specific tracks come from Cal CalA 24.
So the main thing when getting into this particular artist is of course over here we've talked
about CalA 24 a plethora of times with Toxicos. We talked about Kayanda, we talked about
Noce Perfecta. Of course if you don't know right now I'm currently playing the video.
analytic dreams video on spotify to see the video along with the audio because currently billboard
latin and call 824 did a collaboration as far as noche perfecta being the fifth uh collaboration
between freda regita and of course kail 24 uh call 8 24 to make it the billboard charts but the first
to reach the number one set so that being said that's what this collaboration post is about and then
hold up now i know that is that is that who i think it is is that who i think it is
I know that ain't who I think it is.
Ladies and gentlemen, if you didn't know, of course this is not an ad.
I'm just letting the CalA 24 connoisseurs know that he is currently live.
And with him doing an Eterno tour is going pretty well.
And of course, this marks his first solo U.S. tour.
As when you look at it specifically, of course, he's not the top live act revenue earner as far as an artist.
But as far as a rising artist, he's definitely.
one of the biggest rising stars we have in the game. Now he may not be Chris Brown and Usher show or
a BTS show, but when it comes to Calais 24, he's doing pretty well himself. As of course in
26, he had plethora of locations sell out. And of course, I think, oh, actually, okay, I'm not
trying to be disrespectful, but you know, I got to keep objective. One of the, one cancellation did happen.
and Hidalgo,
Texas,
Payne Arena,
due to low Texas sales.
Now don't get mad to me.
I said Calais 24 affairs,
don't get mad at me.
I'm just looking at certain reports.
So when it comes to people
noticing that it canceled,
apparently it was due to low sales,
but of course it was no public total attendance
or box office number for that specific date
because of course the show didn't happen.
But in general,
I would say that,
The show's going pretty well.
Obviously, I already prefaced it with he's not like the top live touring artists as far as revenue-wise.
But he's definitely doing respectable.
As Calais 24 is a mammoth in himself having 19 million monthly listeners on Spotify.
And of course, the person that he collaborated with Chino Packas, he's no slouch himself.
As far as Chino Packers, he currently has two tracks on the top 50 as far as Mexico specifically.
both of those is with CalAid 24.
So when it comes to Calais 24, just know, building up that live audience is way different,
much different than building up the streaming audience.
And that is something that every artist has to figure out for themselves because they probably
wonder why certain legacy acts have some of the highest grossing revenue tours in the world
with Usher and Chris Brown, right?
But then you look at the charts and they're nowhere to be found as far as Billboard being
consider. So the two audiences are definitely distinct. It's very, it's drastically different and it's up to
the artists in their marketing team to figure out how to optimize the marketing strategies for those
artists. But of course, getting back into the three-year-old song that's still percolating on the
top 50 Mexico charts. It's basically due to a lot of different marketing factors. Of course, the
playlist have helped out as far as the album coming out, because if you don't know, this track was
actually attached to an album from kind of.
Al-A-24 and that album was on Dedo, I think it's on Dedo.
That came out December 12, 2024, and that, the specific track we're talking about right now,
as far as Apaga L.S.L. that track was on this album.
So the album in itself is 24 tracks, an hour and four minutes in length.
Ultimately, you come to realize that the people listening to the album came back to the
track and start to increase the streams even more.
And that is why artists usually have their older catalog at a higher price point as far as if they ever sell it off.
Because every single time you drop new music, guess what?
Your older music, your older discography, they benefit.
So with that being said, that's the main thing I want to get into for all the CalA 24 fans out there,
you could definitely celebrate because yet another Latin musician and the music industry just making a notorious mass effect.
And of course, it started because of y'all's support.
So at that means,
I said, click my link to tree in my bio
to follow me on my social medias.
And when it comes to people on Spotify,
comment down below,
will you be attending a CalA 24 tour
as far as his eternal tour going on right now?
And if you have attended it live,
what was your favorite aspect and why?
