Starting point is 00:00:04 A billion people have already heard this anthem. There is nothing left but to say many thanks to everyone, comma. When you sing in the show, you become a single voice to the maximum volume. I know that's right. Up Mexico, two exclamation points. Now, ladies and gentlemen, the particular artist that we're getting into today is, of course, i think i'm pronouncing this name right calais or calais 24 i'm probably butchering that but guess what it's not on purpose you guys so it comes to that my first
Starting point is 00:00:45 time covering calais was february 21st and when it comes to that particular track i covered chouin fereza regita uh george i think that's how you say his name and then of course cally 24 who were getting into for this specific segment and his track pica pica so the main thing i was want to talk about today for this segment is him having his most successful track currently in mexico being suiza that is currently the eighth most played track in mexico so when it comes to calais safe to say that 24 is out here putting up monumental numbers way bigger than 24 as having a top eight most played track in the world or not in the world but having the top eight most played track of Mexico is no small accomplishment as when it comes to his geographic splits
Starting point is 00:01:38 is 70% streams from Latin America and the 20% from US Hispanic listeners and then of course like I keep saying TikTok is the main organic tool for a lot of these artists out there so when it comes to Calais specifically it's added around 30 million streams to him as far as in quarter one 20 25 now when you look at that specific number and then you come to realize his output in 2025 hasn't been as much as 2024 because of course 2024 had um 2024 had calais putting out an album now he hasn't put out an album as far as in 2025 but he's been more than active as he started off the year with combeau estrella then he had la nata la nita then he had ma moncita I think that's how he said Wachula and then Chupame, whatever that means. It was a tongue. So it may be provocative.
Starting point is 00:02:37 Just know. I don't know what that means. So if I'm saying a provocative term, just know it wasn't on purpose. And then he had another single title, Quadros Puvianos. And then Se Occupat Tempo and then El Caso Dios testigo. And then me, Ovid, de los dos. So when it comes to that, his latest track, currently, is Chico Tieto with the artist Jesse O'Nunes, which I believe I've covered that artist specifically
Starting point is 00:03:08 this year. So this is my first time covering Calais for this year. But as far as Jesse O'Nunes, I did cover him July 9th for his track Formula One. Now, I don't know specifically what Formula One was from. Was it from the racing? No, it's not from the race. I was like, it's from the, I forget with that, the F1 movie. I don't know why it ties those two together.
Starting point is 00:03:29 Anyways, it was under double P. records as far as Jesse on Nunes and he definitely made a notorious impact pun intended with that specific track but when it comes to Calais in this particular year this is my first time covering him and I'm pleased to say that he's definitely made a humongous impact especially with his track Suiza that's the number eighth most played track in the world if he was wanting to dive into CalA 24 just know some of the music that he makes is Nortino traditions with urban trap and then of course he started as self-taught guitarist at age 13 and began uploading demos online before signing to Foresa's Regita Street Mob Records in 2020. So talk about longevity and definitely sticking to the
Starting point is 00:04:14 consistency as far as trying to get people to respect your craft. And then you come to his key releases happened in 2021 as far as me Nueva Familia. And then you have in 2023 his Amor de la Cali, which included his head Kosas Kambjorn. I think that's how he pronounced it. But then of course, when it comes to his overall impact, his label, which let me make sure I get this right, because I believe,
Starting point is 00:04:43 I don't know if he's on the same label as Jaziel Nunes, but I do believe he's under, okay, so yeah, street mob distributed by Warner Music Latina. I think I already said that, but I just wanted a fact check, because, you know, we're going to do fake news over here. So when it comes to Calais,
Starting point is 00:04:59 Suiza is a very romantic, centric type of track as far as the themes. So of course everybody can relate to heartbreak and the passion and overall loyalty type of themes and music. But I will say it's definitely softer compared to Callie's earlier catalog because I do listen to these Latin musicians. Like I tell you all the time what's my favorite
Starting point is 00:05:24 as far as particular tracks that I've heard throughout this year. When it comes to Cali listening to that track, I definitely noticed a different tone because of course I remember covering him with pika pika it was a completely different tempo and when it comes to me not knowing the language that they're speaking in it well no I know the language this Spanish but not knowing exactly what they're saying I listen for tonically and structure if I'm vibing with the track and with Callie specifically pika pika I like that track but it was a um seemed like it was a different tempo a very it was drastically different than this particular track suezza
Starting point is 00:06:07 that's still doing phenomenal in the chart so definitely shows the range for suiza uh he's doing great on youtube as his lyric videos have 50 million plus views and of course he's still impacting the masses on a plethora of different social media apps such as ticot um youtube like i just said and then of course when it comes to him being one of the more versatile people in the Latin community, he's definitely showcasing how Carridos Tumbados can take many different forms. And this is just one of the many, one of the several forms that Caritos Tombados can take. And Calais 24 seems to have hit that. And that's why, to me, he has one of the most popular tracks in Mexico right now.
Starting point is 00:06:51 So with that being said, click my link, sure in my bio. Let me know one of my social medias. what do you think about callie's 24th track suezza being the eighth most play track in mexico as far as in the year of 2025 with him putting out a bunch of different singles what has been your favorite and who has been your favorite latin musicians in the year of 2025
