Starting point is 00:00:03 Now as far as the second track that was rumored to come out on Camilla's album, which is out now on all DSPs titled C comma XOXO, I think the biggest thing when it comes to this album is that Drake is indeed scrambling for acknowledgement on the charts. Because if you don't know, his only charting track is not even his, is sexy res. on You My Everything, which is Sexy Red's album. I forget what her album is called. Obviously, I'm not listening to Sexy Red because she doesn't make good music. But let me see. So you have In Sexy Retrust, which came out May 24th, 2024, and the track, You My Everything with Drake is the highest charting off of that album. So you can say it's the Drake effect, or you could say Sexy Red is helping out Drake.
Starting point is 00:01:04 I think this is one of the few collaborations that Drake is doing where it's mutually beneficial. Because if you remember, you know, go back in Memory Lane with me all the way back to for all the dogs, which came out last year, not even that long ago. But sexy res track and the Yeat track were some of the better long time, as far as like duration. It was like one of the longest performing tracks on the charts for Drake. So with Drake seeing that, he probably was thinking to himself, let's try to make more music with those particular artists, which is why you see Drake on Yeats album, which came out this year. That album was, yeah, 2093.
Starting point is 00:01:57 That's why you see Drake on that album to make another track with him. and then, excuse me, it's 2093 P2. I guess it's part two. I don't get these names nowadays. But anyways, it's 293 P2.
Starting point is 00:02:13 And Drake made an appearance on that with the track as we speak, which that's probably the best feature track I've heard this year from Drake. But then, you know, to make up for the lack of balance and the quality, he did a feature for
Starting point is 00:02:30 Sexy Rez album and Sexy Rez album and Sexy. be trust off of the track you buy everything so of course when you see the numbers on your own album going crazy and there's certain artists attest to it you'll probably make an appearance on those respective artists out so it just makes sense marketing wise but the reason i'm bringing it up is because drake's completely off of the charts when you talk about his own music family matters push-ups all of those of course came because of a beef but nonetheless it's off the
Starting point is 00:03:02 charts so now attacking the charts again from a different genre perspective with a different musician which is camilla he's definitely making his uh portfolio diverse when it comes to the amount of options you have you want rmb drake you want pop-con drake you want rapping drake you want futuristic type sounding drake off of the you know the yeat stuff but i think in the end This track is just completely terrible. Like, I think one of the biggest things with Drake is just realizing that he needs to take a break. It's one of those things where you gave us the biggest hip-hop battle ever. And that's what I would hang my hat on.
Starting point is 00:03:50 Like, everybody's saying you lost. Let's talk about every other hip-hop rapper that's been in a battle and how that turned out. Your career is going to be completely fine. but the biggest thing you need to hang your head on for this year is you competed in the biggest hip-hop battle ever and then now you just got to take a break like this can't be made like as far as the moves you're making people are openly calling you a pedophile people openly calling Camilla a racist and to do a song with Camilla it's like how tone deaf can you be Obviously, this track isn't made for the rap beef audience.
Starting point is 00:04:35 But to be honest, sometimes I make a whole playlist off of Drake's non-rap music and it's straightfire. So if you want to hear alternative Drake, I mean Mia, the track with Bad Bunny is fire. I mean, if we go back in time, I had to look at my list. But it's just a lot of other tracks in the same type of lane that he made with Camilla. That's much better. So for people who are saying it's not for rap fans, I definitely understand, but just know that when you're talking to a Drake fan, we know that the reason we call him the goat is because he can give high quality music from every single genre. So this is not one of those outings, as it's very mediocre at best.
Starting point is 00:05:24 So with that being said, the track Ugly is not on the album. A lot of people are saying it was basically the hot uptown track, and Ugly was like the. the reference name or the code name before the song came out so they said there wasn't two tracks it was just one for hot uptown but then i keep hearing there may have been two tracks when they was recording and turks and kakos which you know camilla drake being in turks and kakos obviously they was only focusing on music right so with that being said one of the biggest things i keep seeing from Drake is his missteps after the beef and I think it's simply simply because he refuses to take a break and the whole posting of an AI picture on your story which um if you
Starting point is 00:06:13 if you if you don't even follow Drake you probably won't know what I'm talking about but the day of her album about to come out Camilla I'm talking about Drake put a AI robot like straight out of the an I am robot movie from Will Smith and he basically put that on the story and people was wondering why in the world would he put that on this story? And now we kind of get a glimpse to why he said that because I think he understands that this is not good music.
Starting point is 00:06:42 So just blame it on AI. You know what I mean? Make the world think you made that verse through AI so they just not think about the quality and the lack of quality too much. But as far as me as a Drake fan, seeing all the tricks and trays, seen all of the smoking mirrors and the biggest thing Drake can do right now is just take a break
Starting point is 00:07:02 because obviously the world the music world does not miss you because they're not streaming the music that you do have out for this year and when I say not streaming I'm talking about right now top 50 considered Drake is always going to be the most streamed in a year because he's the goat but it's kind of like the LeBron effect even though you're the goat sometimes in the playoffs you get out in the first round and this is just a game. just one of those years like just take a break come back next year and up the quality by a lot so that being said click my link true in my bio let me know one of my social medias what do you think about the rumored drake and camilla track titled ugly and also what do you think of the hot uptown
Starting point is 00:07:46 track that's actually out on camilla's album c comma xo xo and do you think it's fire or trash
