Starting point is 00:00:03 Now, Cardi B is currently on the charts with Like What. It's 38 on the Billboard top 100, and obviously it just impacted the charts. But what I don't like is people trying to say it's the first freestyle ever from a female rapper to debut on the charts. Because technically, that's like an ESPN type stat. Like when they say, oh, this player is the first to drop 15 points on a 2. Tuesday afternoon against this certain team. Like, what are we doing here? Obviously, Cardi B is successful.
Starting point is 00:00:41 One of the more successful artists in hip-hop, like ever, if you really look at the totality of her discography because her album, Invasion of Privacy, which is literally her debut album, won rap album of the year. So with that, I think that's enough accolades in itself to be cemented, for life. So anyways, that was just my little gripe with that because I know a lot of people from
Starting point is 00:01:10 Cardi B's fan base, they like to use certain words to make it seem like it's the first ever, which is unnecessary for the likes of a Cardi B. Because the purpose of the segment is to talk about another track that's coming titled Enough in parentheses Miami, releasing this Friday. So whenever you get into verbiage and trying to make her accomplishments bigger than what it actually is, it's just simply unnecessary. So with that out the way, the biggest thing you need to know is that Cardi B and of course, analytic dreams video on Spotify for a video along with the audio, is back again with this track called Enough. And I think that this is a big deal simply for the fact that. that when I previously spoke on this track like what, if you look it up, like what analytic dreams, it should pop up. But basically, my whole game plan for Cardi B was keep dropping to the point
Starting point is 00:02:17 where people have to acknowledge you because the whole trying to find a super big hit with the likes of bongos, trying to be a replica of WAP with the likes of the track with Norma. trying to impact the charts the track with Kanye West and Little Dirt trying to impact the charts and this is over the past like two to three years were necessarily well not necessarily a flop but as far as what she was going for it definitely didn't hit that metric of being like a top 10 or top five track so now I just believe with you already having the accomplishments like I previously said in the segment the biggest thing you could do do is just continuously drop and have all of these charts be in the top 100 maybe not all of them but majority of them to the point where when you drop an entire body of work people are more inclined to listen to it because it's not necessarily oh she's not coming with a single it's just car to be active and music because i think people try to go for the home run not realizing that you know getting in the first base second base and third and then who knows you may end up hitting a home run
Starting point is 00:03:33 now it counts more in totality than if you were to try to get that home run at the plate which you've already did well with the uh try to make a baseball reference or a baseball analogy with the uh basis empty trying to hit a home run versus the basis loaded trying to hit a home run i think it's a little different in the sense that if you miss it's okay because all you need is a little bump here and there to get the accolades back to what you're it once were once was because young boy is running the charts in totality when it comes to output because he puts out so much music that over time it just culminates into something that now he's put up to the top tier artist statistically simply based on output so a carty be putting out a track maybe once or twice a month i think that she could obviously put up a nice 2024 statistically, analytically, because of course, I think her album has to come out this year. I don't even think it's a Cardi B decision. I think maybe her label was probably letting her know like, hey, last time you put out a body of work was in 2020, it's 2024, and we ain't signed this
Starting point is 00:04:53 contract for you to just retire from music. So I think with this sophomore album inevitably going to hit DSPs at some point, this is going to be her best. strategy just put out a lot of music before the album maybe something catches but if it doesn't it's okay because like what is 38 on a charts which isn't bad it's top 50 just with a freestyle so that when your other charts may end up impacting the top 100 or not it doesn't matter because overall you are active that's all your fans want is just for you to be active so that's basically all I had to say about Cardi B is really nothing too much to get into I mean she's
Starting point is 00:05:32 successful currently in 2024 with this track like what on the billboard top one really the top 50 at 38 and it just impacted the chart so with her keeping up this output or raising the output i think her fans were like that a lot more than her just trying to be um dormant and then trying to hit a home run like be active for your fan base to support you and i think currently she's uh implementing that strategy So with that being said, it's really not too much to get into with Cardi B. At the end of the day, I think people are overblowing her falling golf status. But on other hand, I don't think she's as hot as she once was when she put out invasion of privacy, which technically it's all right.
Starting point is 00:06:19 Like, you don't have to reach a Grammy winner type album every single time out the gate. So anyways, click my link to you in my bio. Let me know on one of my social medias. What do you Cardi B fans think about my whole take on Cardi B and, um, of output she should have in 24 and are you anticipating her upcoming sophomore album
