Cee's debut album, "Can’t Rush Greatness", set to release on January 24, 2025, under Columbia Records. Directed by the acclaimed Cole Bennett from Lyrical Lemonade, the music video was filmed in Atlanta, capturing the essence of both artists' styles."GBP" merges UK and US rap with Central Cee reflecting on his ascent in the music scene, highlighted by his notable appearance at the 2023 British Fashion Awards in a tracksuit. His lyrics, "Red carpet in my trackie and Air Max / They want a boy with a London style," encapsulate his street culture roots. On the other hand, 21 Savage brings his gritty narrative with lines like, "Up on the opps, seven to nil, Premier League, I’m in the field," drawing a parallel to UK soccer. This track showcases a hypnotic vocal sample with a hard-hitting rhythm, where both artists' storytelling prowess shines through, merging their unique experiences and cultural influences. The music video complements the song visually with UK streetwear and dramatic scenes of ski-masked figures wielding samurai swords, reinforcing Central Cee's lyrics about weaponry.Analytic Dreamz also touches on Central Cee's prior work, like his collaboration with Atlanta's Lil Baby on "Band4Band" in May 2024, which further showcases his cross-continental appeal. Starting point is 00:00:03 The battle we've all been waiting for to see who's the best UK MC. Now, of course, Dave is going to be very irate that he hasn't been included on this track. But as far as the battle between the United Kingdom citizens, it has been a pleasure to watch Shia, Abraham Joseph and Central C go bar for bar to see who's the best UK MC. Now, ladies and gentlemen, the reason why I keep reiterating that is because I don't know if y'all know. But this man, Shia, Abraham Joseph, was born in, I don't even know how to pronounce this. Plaisto, London. at okay so basically at the new ham university hospital in playstone london i'm probably i'm probably
Starting point is 00:01:09 butchering that pronunciation hey guess what now you know that abraham aka 21 savage is from london so now that you know that fact now getting into how 21 savage and Central C have their first ever collaboration, I believe, I think it's the first ever. Actually, let me make sure because Central C has done a lot of collaborations with rappers. But when it comes to Savage, I believe this is the first one. Okay, so yeah, this is the first ever collab between Central C and 21 Savage. Pretty solid. So with that being said,
Starting point is 00:02:02 GBP is basically the great British pound, referring to, of course, the UK's currency and, you know, just reflecting centracy's love for the UK. But why is the same love not shown from 21 Savage? Because all this time, we thought that Mr. Abraham was from Atlanta. Who would have thought that back in February 3rd, 2019 when Trump was picking up any and everybody via ice he also picked up 21 Savage and it was presented to the public that he was an unlawfully present united kingdom national
Starting point is 00:02:47 and when i tell you that was one of the biggest plot twists of 2019 21 Savage was rep in Atlanta like he was never like he never even heard of the UK never once did he come out was like hey you know what guys I'm from the UK and you know why rappers are professional liars and he have to keep up that facade so now when he's eventually exposed and it's not that big of a deal if he would have just kept it from the public right so he kept it from the public the world found out when he was picked up by ice and as the arrest was occurring and you know obviously he was in jail overseas and things of that nature. A lot of celebrity support came out because, of course, 21 Savage just seems like a great
Starting point is 00:03:34 individual that doesn't mess with anybody, right? So he ended up having his legal team clarify that he's been in the U.S. since he was seven and that his visa status had expired through no fault of his own as a child. And he was granted bond and released February 12, 2019. So he did some time overseas, but he did not tell. he stood 10 toes tall 10 toes down 10 toes tall anyways you want to you know have everyone slice it basically for what was it uh for nine days nine long pause hard days and overseas prison basically led to everybody in the uproar and outcry and he was eventually released and guess what in uh
Starting point is 00:04:26 uh, 2023 was when he officially became a lawful permanent resident of the United States after securing his green card. Cause you already know who's about to get back in the office, right? I think it's about what two days left. He would have spun a block twice just for irony's sake. So anyways, um, Central C,
Starting point is 00:04:47 21 Savage, they have a new trackout titled GBT, uh, GbP, which is the great British pound, right? Centric C, I've said time and time.
Starting point is 00:04:56 again is out here saving rappers as far as having a hit he saved ice spice back in the day when actually let's let's pull up this list of the artist he saved so he saved ice spice when he gave her a hit back in july 12th 2024 with did it first saved little baby when he gave him band for band back in may 24th 2024 and guess what guess what this track sounds like but the only reason i'm not saying he's saving 21 savage career because technically 21 savage other than future is one of the more cultural rappers that we have in society, which is why him being from the UK was such a plot twist. It's like if we never knew Drake was from Canada and he got picked up and sent back to Canada, a Canadian prison for being an unlawful residence, right?
Starting point is 00:05:40 It's like if we found out that way about Drake, obviously 21 Savage is not on the level of Drake. I'm just letting you know the amount of bamboozle and befudlement that was occurring when we found out that this man was from the UK because he held it from us this whole time. Like my brother, we don't care that much, but now that you hear it from us, we're going to get our jokes off. So yes, UK teams, mandim is out with a new track, GPP, or GBP, right? I don't know if they talk about stick talk, because I'm pretty sure they don't have those type of weaponry over there. I think they talk about poking people because that's all they can do.
Starting point is 00:06:16 I think they can just only have knives. I'm not trying to get, you know what I mean, blackballed from the UK. I'm just telling it like it is. I think that's, you know, one of the laws is that you can't have, like, weapons over there. So anyways, they're rapping over a UK drill type B because that's what Central C is known for. And when it comes to, I actually listen to the track because I like both of these artists a lot. And so the track is fire. I think the track is straight phenomenal.
Starting point is 00:06:41 It reminds me of band for band as far as the way they're not playing off each other as much as band for band. But definitely in the chorus is reminiscent of band for band. And it has the same type of quality level. And if you don't know, the music video. attached to this actual track is directed by Cole Bennett. If you don't know, Cole Bennett is from lyrical lemonade. And guess where it's filmed?
Starting point is 00:07:05 Of course, Atlanta, because 21 Savage is like, y'all can get these jokes off, but guess what? I'm still an ATL, and this is still, well, partially my city,
Starting point is 00:07:14 because future is still alive and well, right? So as far as being the second most cultural rapper, currently, as far as from a numbers perspective, 21. Well, I don't know. Baby has a lot of marketing behind him right now. I ain't a lot to you. If him and 21 Savage drop, well, actually, if 21 Savage drop, I don't know if he's doing 140 plus 1,000 first week. I know that may be blasphemous to some 21 Savage fans. And the reason why I'm getting to 21 Savage a lot, because centricy is going to be fine. That man puts out nothing but
Starting point is 00:07:45 heat and consistently stays on the top of the charts to the point where all the major labels was trying to sign this man and he was signed let me see he was actually independent this whole time putting up these monumental numbers he was probably one of the more premier independent artists that we've seen ever because he was doing all this independent right like going back to um let's see uh february 25th 22 uh his album 23 guess what the credits say it literally just says central c you never see that. As far as to how much of a superstar icon this man is, his latest album, literally only having himself titled in the credits, you don't ever see that. You always see a conglomerate and a subdivision, whether it's Republic Records, UMG, whether it's Sony, whether it's Warner,
Starting point is 00:08:35 you always see a major label attached to the bottom of a project of this status, right? Central C is doing all of this on his own. Now, I do believe he's signed to a major label, because I can't look at the collab, because that's going to merge both of them. But I believe Central C just recently signed. And that was a big deal because he was doing so many numbers independent, right? So he had so much leverage. But yeah, okay. So June 2023, which was recent technically, he signed a deal to Columbia Records and partnership
Starting point is 00:09:13 with Sony. So he's under Sony now. And the deal is structured as a joint venture with, well, for two projects, meaning Central C retains ownership of his recordings. Let me tell you, that is a huge accomplishment out the gate as far as your first record deal. That is how hot Central C was, analytically speaking, because of him putting up monumental numbers and also being an independent act. So he's going to be fine, right?
Starting point is 00:09:41 So let's focus back on 21 Savage. 21 Savage, his first week sales. That's why I really wanted to look at. Hopefully it's shown me throughout his entire career, because I don't want to have to put pull up his whole discography because i know that okay so his last album oh no his first album was 2016 the slaughter tape right so it's starting with the isa album that back in uh 2017 so it's an album 2017 so 77 000 i am i was back in 2018 sold 131 000 american dream in 2024 sold to 133,000.
Starting point is 00:10:26 Savage Mode 2 with Metro Boomin in 2020. I don't know why I didn't go. Oh, this is for collaborative projects. Okay. So American Dream sold 133,000. That's the biggest for his own project, right? His collaborative projects, as far as Savage Moot 2 with Metro Boomer,
Starting point is 00:10:43 sold 171,000 first week. And then, of course, her loss with the goat, the mascot of hip hop, Aubrey Graham. Also, blue collar stitch, Karen, you know, I got to keep it eight more than 92.
Starting point is 00:10:54 right that sold 335 000 to 350 000 for well no actually i don't know why it doesn't keep me an actual number for her loss it doesn't even make sense hold on let me see her loss first week so her loss sold for goodness 411 000 first week let me tell you that is insane for a collaborative album that's insane and which is why 21 savage is definitely um you know he's under the microscope as far as selling more than the little baby because little baby just sold i don't care how he got it i mean obviously i think there was a little interesting play because it was like 40 basically 50 000 units bought i wonder who he was who it was bought by but anyway let's just you know stick with the facts right he sold he sold around 144 000 first week sales right ended up beating out bad bunny of all people
Starting point is 00:11:50 uh for the first week well for number one as far as a number one album I don't believe 21 Savage could sell more than 144,000 first week with his next album. I know 21 Savage fans may kill me. That is exactly why I brought up his totality as far as his career first week sales metrics. So hopefully I don't think I'm hating. I'm just pointing out an astute observation, right? It's just an astute observation. That's all it is.
Starting point is 00:12:18 And for Abraham, hopefully he could take that because if he wants to hide the fact that he grew up in the UK, hey, guess what? We're going to uncover everything else because it's not hate. We just want to be transparent, something that you totally were not until 2019. So we're not going to hold that against you, but we're not going to hold that against you. But we are going to bring it up time and time again. So I guess we are holding it against you, right? It'd be like that.
Starting point is 00:12:46 CENTRAC, 21 Savage, GBP out now, all DSPs, very much. men them going bar for bar, right? Two UK citizens, well, no, two people born and from the UK going at it as far as from a lyrical standpoint. And no, we're not talking about Dave and we're not talking about centracy. We're talking about, we're talking about 21 Savage and centracy. So Dave is nowhere to be found in this UK or this battle for the best UK rapper. But as far as 21, well, as far as Abraham, right, let's start calling him about, you know, Hey, don't forget. Shia, Abraham, Joseph.
Starting point is 00:13:31 Actually, Shia Ben, Abraham Joseph. I don't know why that's so funny, but when we found that out, I ain't going to lie to you. I don't think nobody's ever going to forget that. So that being said, click my link to your bio. Let me know one of my social media is. What do you think about centracy and Abraham going back and forth to claim the throne as the best UK rapper? and who do you think came down a came out on top between the battle between mandam
