Analytic Dreamz: Notorious Mass Effect - "CENTRAL CEE - 5 STAR (AITCH DISS)"
Episode Date: January 30, 2025Linktree: https://linktr.ee/Analytic In this segment, Analytic Dreamz examines Central Cee's latest track, "5 Star (Aitch Diss)," released as a direct response to the 2023 BRIT Awards whe...re Aitch was awarded over Central Cee. Born in Ladbroke Grove, Central Cee, or Oakley Neil H T Caesar-Su, has made a name with his blend of UK drill, hip-hop, and grime, reaching critical acclaim with projects like "Wild West" and "23." This diss track has stirred the UK rap scene, highlighting themes of authenticity and competition. Following its release, Aitch hit back with "A Guy Called?" on January 24, 2025, escalating the feud by questioning Central Cee's writing and motives. Central Cee's response was notably succinct, replying with just "fair enough" and laughing emojis on Instagram, leaving fans anticipating further exchanges. The track peaked in the lower Top 40 of the UK Singles Chart, with a noticeable streaming surge on platforms like Spotify and Apple Music, though it didn't make waves on the Billboard charts. Its music video quickly accumulated views on YouTube, and social media platforms buzzed with debates over the lyrical content and implications for UK rap culture. While physical sales were limited, the digital engagement was robust, reflecting current music consumption trends. Analytic Dreamz also discusses the potential impact of this feud on both artists' careers, especially with the upcoming 2025 BRIT Awards where Central Cee is nominated again, possibly reigniting their rivalry. This segment offers an in-depth look at how this single track has not only added to the narrative of UK rap beef but also shaped the discourse around loyalty, authenticity, and the competitive spirit in contemporary music.Privacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

Now before we get into drama, you know I mainly focus on the gaming and music industry.
So as far as music side of things, Central C is technically having a tour that he just announced titled the Can't Rush Greatness Tour.
Now, of course, you can see the dates right here on his Instagram.
If you go to Central Central C's Instagram, you'll see the World Tour, 2025 Can't Rush Greatness.
And of course he's torn to the UK.
Of course he's torn to the U.S., Canada, Australia,
things of that nature.
One of the things I really want to talk about
as far as Central C for this specific segment
is his beef between some guy
called I-H.
I don't even know if that's how you pronounce it.
It's like A-I-T-C-H.
How in the world am I supposed to pronounce that?
So anyways, there's been a disc track release
Central C titled five star now it's a it's a a itch is itch a itch oh maybe it's a itch technically
there should be a space right there but you know that's what's the point so Central C released the
five-star track literally titled five-star that was a a itch dis that's what we're just going to call
them right now or we should just call them itch I don't even know so with that being said
this is a UK beef and of course with UK rappers
Shout out to my boy Abraham, Joseph out there, aka 21 Savage.
Anyways, back to the UK rappers.
When it comes to disc tracks between each other, it's very interesting.
As the release disc track was targeting the Manchester rapper ish over a perceived slight at the 2023 Brit Awards.
Now, what happened at the Brit Awards?
Well, I'm glad you asked.
Basically, there was lyrics referencing the Brit Awards for,
hip hop slash grime
slash rap to
itch like itch won that award
but he basically
um yeah so
Central C lost that award
and itch won it despite
Central C have multiple nominations
and now with that being said
audiences in the UK are very
persistent about learning about this beef
because if you don't know basically
when it comes to overall numbers
and things of that nature Central C
blows itch out of the water but if we're talking about why itch would respond back in january 24th
2025 with a track titled a guy called accusing central c of using a ghost rider and chasing cloud
this man's following the meek mill game plan i don't think he knows how that worked out for meek
me up anyway so with that being said itch did response to the track five star by central c
with his very own track titled a guy called accusing central c of using a ghost writer and chasing
clout now of course central c being the man that he is basically went under itch's
instagram post with a comment saying fair enough plus laughing emojis signaling no further retaliation
So as of right now, it's a standstill.
Central C has his track title five star, uh, his track title five star that's an itch dis.
Itch has his track titled a guy called, which is a Central C disc.
I think they're at a stalemate.
I don't know if this is manufactured or if they really have beef with each other because if you don't know, whenever marketing teams see something work to
and captivate the masses, they are going to replicate and mimic it.
So whenever you see Drake and Kendrick completely take over a whole entire year with a beef,
then you ultimately will assume and should assume that other marketing labels will follow suit
and create all type of fake and manufacture beefs.
So with that being said, I'm not saying that what Central Sea and itch did is fake.
I'm just saying that that's a huge possibility, especially with the fact that
we haven't heard anything else from Central C
we haven't heard anything else from Itch
seems like they are both going at it
but in a way of you know just
engaging the fans to weigh in to see who won
instead of it actually being real beef between the two right
because the sales for Central C
on the U.S. side is not as crazy as you would think
like currently his most popular track from his album
is GbP with 21 Savage,
aka Abraham Joseph.
With that being said,
it's the 92nd most played track in the world, right?
But it's the most popular track
off of Central Seas album.
And if you don't know,
Billboard basically
panders towards U.S. musicians
because you need a certain number of U.S. streams
to even be on Billboard.
So it don't matter how popping you are on overseas.
If you don't have a certain number of streams
in the U.S., guess what?
You're not charting.
So when it comes to Central C, he's going insane in the UK.
But when it comes to the U.S., I believe he sold like, actually, let me look at it right now.
I think Central C in his first week, he sold.
So Central C sold $35,000 in the first week, right?
And as far as, yeah, that's just not, yeah, that's like in the U.S.
Having $30,000 is a premier act.
It's not the greatest numbers in the world.
But since he's an overseas musician, you have to realize that he had the biggest sales week for a UK rap album in Billboard history.
So when it comes to those numbers, he sold around 100,000 first week in the UK, which is his home market.
The U.S. sales are more just a bonus.
So whenever you think about it, this man is really Uber successful to the point where the United States is probably
not even his main focus
and he's still outperforming certain
premier acts that the United States
is the only focus, right? There's a lot of
acts out here. I'm not going to name any names
that are selling under 30
plus thousand first week
that are only focused on the United
States. Here Central Sea already
won all
across the world, but now U.S. is
like his last market
that he has to accomplish.
Right? And he's technically done that
with 35 plus thousand to
add to the 100,000 plus in the UK as far as first week sales.
So when it comes to the rap battle between itch and Central C is very interesting how this is coming about.
But if you don't know, the upcoming Brit award, the upcoming Brit awards in March 1st, 2025 Central C is nominated again, potentially reigniting the rivalry.
And we'll have to see if they come with a second round of discracks.
So with that being said, click my link to you in my bio.
Let me know on one of my social media is, which track do you prefer?
Central C's five-star track for the itch disk, or do you prefer itchish track?
What was that track title?
Itchist track titled A Guy Called, which of course is a Central C.
Disc track.
Which one do you prefer?
And what is your takeaway from this Central C and Itch rap battle?
