Starting point is 00:00:06 what it is. Wait, what is it? Hold on now. Some madness. Oh, okay. And badness. Hmm. Combination. But then, you know what I'm saying? I was like, damn, look at the state of hip hop. Like, what's going on? Oh, I swear, that's the craziest job ever. Like, who in the world starts up a freestyle like this? Listen to this Canadian once again. A madness. Uh-huh. And badness. Wow, what is it? Combination. Oh, okay. That's what it is.
Starting point is 00:00:32 That's what it is. That's what sir right there. See, that's the problem. Anyways, all jokes aside, because we have to get into. to what's potentially about to happen in about, you know, if you're watching this in the future, it's currently February 11th, right? Let's just say it's about to happen soon. It's time for a rap battle! Now what could I mean by that? The world may never know.
Starting point is 00:00:54 But then, you know what I'm saying? I was like, damn, look at the state of hip hop. Like, what's going on? As we're about to get into Central C's freestyle, that's interestingly enough titled, Iceman. Is it okay? I got my dope on me? And certain someone definitely has their dope on me, on dope. on him ready to drop. It's safe to say. I don't know exactly when he would drop. It just couldn't be
Starting point is 00:01:16 on the same day as S. I said Seff's predecessor. Shepard. All right, my fault. I'm spilling too much. My fault. You know what I'm saying? Let me pick that up. Pulse. Anyways, what that being said, Central C does have a freestyle coming out titled Iceman and it's set to come out tomorrow. If you're watching this in the future, then it's already out. But it's set to come out 7 p.m. Now that's GMT. So, you know, just go and convert it to whatever you're time zone is. So as far as those who are too lazy to convert it, safe to say 7 p.m. GMT is 2 p.m. Eastern Standard time, 1 p.m. Central time and then 11 a.m. Pacific time. Now, if you're in any other time zone, guess what? If you're in any other time zone, guess what?
Starting point is 00:01:58 And we beat these fault? What do they do? We beat them. We go forward. You got to figure out for yourself. So when it comes to Central C and this Iceman freestown, one could only assume what could be the purpose of releasing an iceman freestyle at this point in time. But then, you know what I'm saying? I was like, damn, look at the state of hip hop. Like, what's going to? Hopefully y'all picking up what I'm putting down. But if you're not, I'm not going to spell it out for you.
Starting point is 00:02:21 Then I guess what? If you can't put it together, who don't they do. Anyways, so with that being said, safe to say, we have to talk about Central C and Drake because at the end of their day, they do have a very interesting relationship that started in 2020. And you're probably thinking,
Starting point is 00:02:34 why did I bring up Drake? This is all going to make sense in the foreseeable future, really short. right you know soon you're gonna know why this makes sense but early 2020 Drake saw that person from uk and he was like hold up now is that 21 savage shepherd all right my fault he saw a rapper from uk and he said to himself hold on now that rapper from uk that goes by the name of central c guess what he'd be spitting you know he really got bars he really be putting pen the paper pin the pad he'd be writing everything that you wish you had anyways my fault um when it comes to
Starting point is 00:03:08 Drake's, you know, glazeathon of Central C, it knows no limits. As July 2023 on the radar freestyle happened, where we got this infamous meme right here. This combination. Yeah, that's what I was just talking about. But anyways, after that, 2020, 23, 2024, Central C, obviously opened up, you know, he opened select dates for the one and only goat. Is it okay? I got my dope on me?
Starting point is 00:03:34 For the It's All a Blur tour. And of course, Drake took him on a. under his wing ever since then. He was like, all these American artists switching on me, and it seems like the only love I can get is from overseas rappers, whether it's Central Sea, whether it's 21 Savage. Shepard. All right, y'all
Starting point is 00:03:50 get the point. When you look at July 2025, fast forward, right? Because, wait, hold up. That's good something. I did skip some. January 2025. Central Sea confirmed an unreleased Drake collab in the vault, but admitted that it can't be rushed because greatness cannot be rushed, right? and ultimately released the album Can't Rush Greatness.
Starting point is 00:04:10 So that was, you know, very apparent. July 20, 25. Then he released the goat, I mean, released which one, which I think was definitely supposed to have more of a notorious mass effect that he thought it actually had. So that was unfortunate. As a huge Drake fan, I do acknowledge some of the pitfalls from dropping 20 quatillion songs and hoping once.
Starting point is 00:04:37 sticks which you know technically he did have one that stuck with no kea shout out to him you know no kea was very popular in his own right but which one in my opinion from the whole iceman rollout i think if there was a person in the ovo camp and if there was a consensus majority of the people in ovo camp probably thought that which one was going to blow up which technically it did well but to drake standards it was not the hit that they thought it was going to be not saying this bad because what i say you know especially with me covering the charts and going over a lot of of analytical data just because you sell a lot does not mean you make the best product and just because you don't sell at all does not mean you're making the most abysmal the most egregious
Starting point is 00:05:18 shepherd all yeah i get the point but basically the two don't correlate so when it comes to sales that is an objective metric that i use for certain superstars in the game to compare them against other superstars so now you look at drake and now he's completely off of the charts i mean he's all the top of hundred is is desolate when it comes to drake's name which is the first time i've ever seen like that. When it comes to albums, obviously the album with the most hands in the pot, I wonder how that happened. You guys. See, that's the problem with the most hands in the pot, which is Take Care. That's currently his most popular album at the time, the 22nd most played album in the world. And then he has views. That's his 34th most play album in the world. And then,
Starting point is 00:05:59 of course, some sexy songs for you. It's the 35th most played album in the world. But the reason why I'm telling you all that is because of what transpired in the past two years. It seems like there's certain select rappers that gets the real push from drake whether it's sexy red whether it's 21 savage young young thug i can't think of anybody else i don't know what's going on with little baby and drake um central c trying to think of any other rappers is he cool with that's pretty much it so oh um what's that one of the artists i like uh yeat uh he he also you know he also uh supports yeat as well but basically i say all that to say this central c is dropping the iceman freestyle i wonder when iceman's
Starting point is 00:06:39 coming. Is it okay? I got my dope on me. And that's the whole reason for the segment. Y'all already know, I'm a huge Central C fan. But when Drake is about to release, I mean, I ain't say that. When Drake is, you know, releasing at some point in time, I don't know. My sources is I made it up. But whenever Drake drops in the
Starting point is 00:06:55 foreseeable future, safe to say you'll realize why we're putting so much time on this specific Central C freestyle. Because I already think that Central C is a phenomenal rapper. When it comes to being one of the top lyricist in the game, I definitely put him up there in that echelon of a JID. I know some people out there like, no man, he definitely doesn't deserve to be in the top five. He out here saying mandam.
Starting point is 00:07:17 Like, who can rock with that? But then, you know what I'm saying? I was like, damn, look at the state of hip hop. Like, what's going on? And to that, obviously you didn't watch your Super Bowl, because at this point in time, especially with the access of the internet, you have to get out of your own comfort zone as far as recognizing the world does not revolve around you in your palette you have to expand it to the point where you start to realize other genres or affecting the masses just as much if not more than your favorite hip-hop or rnb artist so now when you look at central c saying mandum and all type of ukang slang throughout his lyrical freestyles safe to say he is one of the better rappers i think in the game right now now if i wasn't have the hierarchy i would
Starting point is 00:07:56 put him in the lane of the jids right and that means like the wallets i'm talking about from an objective metric because subjectively i think he's one of the top rations But objectively speaking, he's definitely in the JID lane. Um, who else is the lyricist as far as the new up and comers? Um, it's not a lot, honestly. It's really not a lot. It's a lot of swag rappers nowadays, but you get the point. Um, I would put Jack Hollow up there, but his last album was atrocious.
Starting point is 00:08:20 We're gonna get to that in a second. So, um, once again, Central C is one of the more prominent lyrics, I think, in today's age. And when he puts out his ice man freestyle, safe to save, um, it's definitely gonna be a domino effect. I just I just I just can't put my finger on it on what actually that last domino is going to be. Is it okay? I got my dope on me. So with that being said, click my link to you in my bio. Let me know one of my social media is. What do you think about Central C's freestyle drop in February 12th, 7 p.m., which if you're watching this as soon as it comes out, which you know, I appreciate you. Comes out tomorrow. And of course, with that being said, do you believe that
Starting point is 00:08:58 Central C is one of the top rappers in the world and are you ready for a certain someone to drop his album? Is it okay? I got my dope on me?
