So as far as Central seeing his ability to rap, that's never questioned.
But his dialect and his delivery, which may be the same thing, but I don't think so,
is in a way that I don't think Americans would be as comfortable with as compared to people from the UK.
And I say that for a specific reason.
How many UK rappers do you know that's nice, aka.
Dave, and they speak and rap in a way that sounds foreign to you.
Even though they're speaking the same language and rapping in the same language,
it sounds like something that shes off to the American ear, if that makes sense.
One of my prime examples is when Bad Bunny was performing at the Grammys,
and the subtitles, this is one of the biggest artists in a world.
He's going on Arena Tours.
He literally broke the record for the most amount of money made in like one month for an artist.
And he's on the Grammy stage, worldwide stage.
And guess what the subtitle said?
Speaking and non-English and singing in non-English.
Now, if that's not disrespect to other foreigners, that I don't know what it is.
Because if you can't take the time out to,
accurately
translate what this man is saying
being one of the biggest artists in the world
than what is American bias
when it comes to these artists.
So anyways,
Central C dropped the new track called Me and You
for Valentine's Day and it's straightfire.
Like, the way that this man put out the track,
it was just straight, like,
heavy with lyrical content,
double, triple entendres.
The way that Central C rap is very, very,
respectable. I think this is a reason why all these labels are bidding to get Central C to rap,
or not to sign to the major label, because at the end of the day, there's not too many
independent artists that can create the buzz that Central C is creating organically unless
you're an NBA young boy. And yes, I did just compare Central C to NBA Young Boy, because
in general, Young Boy is on a major label. I don't care what everybody says about his fan base
being the most complete.
He's still on a major label.
And with Central C, he's literally independent.
If you go on his artist's profile, look under the credits for his song.
It literally just says Central C.
And name me any other artists that's on a level of Central C that's independent.
Now, I know people are probably screaming Russ, but, I mean, he's been solidified in the game for so long now.
I feel like that's another credit to my point that Central C is really running the game because
I don't really see another person that could really stand up to Central C in the independent field other than Russ.
And I know a lot of people don't like Russ.
I'm not talking about Westbrook, like, come on now.
But I'm talking about the actual rapper, Russ, and the way that he raps, produces, you know,
he always talks about him doing everything in the studio and other artists not being talented,
which, you know, is an actual conversation to be had
because if you're really talented
and all these other artists are getting by,
just, you know, rhyming cat, hat, and bat
and talking about the worst lyrical content ever
and still can't pay for it, I'll be upset too
and wanting to let the world know that I'm doing everything myself.
But the way Central C is going about it,
it seems like he's very humble in his interviews
and he has a good head on the shoulders
as far as how he addresses certain topics.
But when it comes to music, it's the same type of lyrical content.
I mean, not in the bad way.
It's the same type of substance-heavy content
in the way that he delivers it.
I mean, literally, he said in one of his verses,
he said, don't post where we eat.
They're praying to see me.
Well, educated.
So he's letting you know, his education is high.
You know what I mean?
Yes, I did add a month in education.
It's okay, though.
But his education is high.
And for the most part, he's letting you know that he is not no, quote, unquote, low IQ rapper.
Because he said, quote, in his verse, well educated, good vocab.
When I don't understand, she explained the meaning.
Look, I got to rearrange the sequence.
You say that you're too young for, well, no, he said some other stuff.
Now that's too much.
That's too much.
Let's go back.
Let's get to verse two.
All right.
I want to get to the bar when he said.
You know what he said his girl was,
maybe we should skip past that too.
I'm not trying to get canceled.
That's another thing, bro.
These rappers will get you canceled, weren't they?
The one thing about the hip-hop genre is they're very accepting.
That's led to a lot of, a lot of stuff.
But anyways, let's keep going.
Central C said,
Quote, you don't need me.
It's true.
But you'll reap the rewards if you see this through.
That's definitely a bar.
Like the fact you ain't slept with no idiots,
Utes.
Your girl's on WhatsApp.
I beg you just lead that group.
I wonder if he's talking about her best friends.
Hey, the best friends do be influential, man.
But anyways, that's enough of me reading from Central C.
Only certain artists get that treatment.
And I feel like Central C is on the level of lyrical substance.
because sometimes I read lyrics just to showcase the downright, just atrocious level of rapping for some of these artists.
But for Central C, I do it in a way to highlight his lyrical presence on the track.
But of course, you know what I mean?
That's just my opinion.
So click my link to your bio.
Let me know in one of my social medias.
What do you think about Central C in this latest track called Me and You?
And do you think it's fire or trash?
