Starting point is 00:00:03 When he's not breaking records with his fellow UK musicians or when he is not carrying the mediocre rappers in the hip-hop game to the charts, he's putting out his own spin as far as music along with up-and-coming musicians. Because I don't know if y'all know, but Central Sea is one of the few people in the music industry to act. actually impact the masses independent. Universal Music Group, Warner Music Group, Sony. They own about 85% of the entire market share when it comes to the September 9th chart date. Now, what does that mean?
Starting point is 00:00:55 If you only have 5%, that's not right. I think it was 70, 80, 95% my fault. I can't read. So when you have 5% of the market share, here to impact as an independent artist. You realize that the odds are even slimmer because if you look up the amount of music that's released by underground slash independent artists on an everyday basis. So the reason why I say that is because the way that Central Sea came out the gate from
Starting point is 00:01:24 UK, mind you, and putting up monumental numbers as an independent artist had the likes of Drake, had the likes of everybody trying to sign this man. of the amount of traction that he built for himself he basically built the table the chairs he got the plates the food the only thing the label needed to do was shine the light in other regions to let them know what type of traction this man has going because right now with his latest track titled moi it is under Columbia Records a division of Sony music entertainment under exclusive license from CC4L, which I'm going to assume is Central C for Life, but that's just me assuming. It may mean something else. So with that being stated, Moe is going to be an interesting
Starting point is 00:02:20 experiment track, especially being that it now has a major marketing machine behind it, which is Sony, because Central C has been used by two mediocre rappers in the past to make the charts. Now, I don't want to just harp on these specific individuals, but at this point in time, to make a point I have to. So Little Baby and Ice Spice, they were victims of the cross-collaborative effort to increase your, sales because just by themselves single after single after single it was flopping and not making the charts i mean ice spice to this day has a whole track out with travis scott and is nowhere on the charts little baby has been putting out single after single after single and guess what the only track is is on the charts right now as far as the top of hundred the one with central seat
Starting point is 00:03:25 that's the 71st most played track in the world and has been on the charts for about 14 weeks so it's definitely a bona fide hit for him considering he can't make the charts by himself and it actually peaked at number 18 so at one point it was the 18th most listened to tracking the world now why am i saying all this i'm letting y'all know that central c is the real deal i know overall the music stats and overall first week sales have been looking lower and looking like it's been a drought for every single musician because really nobody is hitting their peak or past their peak if you're not named Taylor Swift which is why people keep comparing her to Michael Jackson because the gap between Taylor Swift and the next musical musician
Starting point is 00:04:15 is immense I mean Taylor Swift had a number as far as no she achieved as far as first week sales 2.61 million units sold first week guess who was the second closest bianca with around 460 000 for first week so that's a pretty significant gap i mean i'm no mathematician but i'm pretty sure y'all can notice that that's a huge gap so when i'm talking about numbers this is a prime indication on the the type of anticipation that you can build up for whatever you are about to release because billboard and chart and the charts will not lie. I mean, you can manipulate them numbers all you want, but at some point over time, we're going to see who's actually affecting the masks because those numbers are a litmus scale
Starting point is 00:05:09 to compare you to your competition. So when Central C is out here being used by other hip hop rappers to make the charts, which Ice Spice technically did make the charts when her and Central C put out that one track, I forget what it was called, but they went on a whole PR stunt about them possibly being in a relationship just to promote their new track. And it ended up working making the top of 100. But now it's nowhere to be seen. But the track with Little Baby that came out earlier than the track of Ice Spice is still on the charts and been on a charts for about 14 weeks. And it's the 71st most played track in the world.
Starting point is 00:05:44 So when you're getting into this new collaborative, when you're getting into this new track with Central C, you realize that the major. marketing machine is now behind him and he should have certain type of impact on the charts that we've never seen before from a central seat because all of his releases in the past have been under central seat so that's why i'm putting heavy emphasis on major labels and numbers is because he's finally signed with sony and with him signing the sony it just means that he's going to get even bigger push to where people in other regions will now start to pay attention and realize that this man is kind of nice at rapping so that's basically why i bring up all that behind the scene stuff kind of some people um it's the boring nerdy details but it's what makes the music industry run
Starting point is 00:06:38 because if you don't know the music industry um you end up like most of these rappers where they be in the game for two to three years then they fizzle out so uh with that being said was something else i wanted it was something else i wanted to touch on oh no that's basically it so uh ray is also the other track on the other artists on this track i don't know who ray is i don't know if it's another uk track i mean a uk underground musician i just i don't know who this is so um yeah i guess that's what i wanted to add is i don't know who that man is um so yeah hopefully he doesn't get offended by that but hey shout out to central c he's always doing this thing and i love to see it because he's actually one of the few rappers that I think cares about the words he puts together to affect the masses.
Starting point is 00:07:26 So, and that's saying a lot because nowadays, people just be saying anything in the raps that involves a murder. So with that being said, click my link tree in my bio. Let me know one of my social media is, what do you think about Central C's latest track titled MoI, which is M-O-I? And if you've listened to it, do you think it's fire or trash?
