Analytic Dreamz: Notorious Mass Effect - "CHAPPELL ROAN - THE SUBWAY"

Starting point is 00:00:03 Now when we're talking about Chappelle Rowan, we have to put on Front Street how putting out a track titled the subway as far as July 31st of this year when in totality, she's only had two tracks specifically as far as the subway and the giver. If you don't know, the giver came out March 13th. And of course, we now have the subway. Now, is this leading up to an album? We have no idea. But as far as far as. as the track it also has a music video attached to it directed by amber grace johnson if you don't know that's the same person who directed for georgia smith in fk a twigs but as far as the music video is set in new york city and includes chapel just roaming around comically and long-haired wigs as when you look at the washington square park fountain and also ultimately how it was shot, you can automatically tell the theme of the track, which if you don't know the theme of the track, it's more of a love song and what and who can't relate to certain love songs nowadays, right?

Starting point is 00:01:16 So even with the love song being there, it is more expressive of heartbreak and of course pain that she's garnered throughout her different relationships. As when it comes to Chappelle Rowan, I do believe being a pop artist is not a, you know, as easy as it used to be back in the day because of course with the advancement of the internet anybody can blow up and i'm not going to say it's like you're playing the lottery because it definitely takes a level of just execution from certain artists but ultimately there's a time in place for certain tracks certain albums as chapelle rowan specifically she found that out as currently she has the 24th most played album in the world which is hilariously titled

Starting point is 00:02:03 the rise and fall of a Midwest Princess. And the reason why I say hilarious is because that's a phenomenal title. And I don't know what it is about pop artists. Maybe it's just because of the genre I primarily cover. The effort put forth as far as album titles, whether it's the tortured poets department, whether it's the rise and fall of the Midwest Princess, whether it's other album titles, as far as as currently affecting the masses, I believe pop artists. put more effort into certain titles, right, as far as a marketing rollout.

Starting point is 00:02:38 Of course, it could change over time, but as of right now, the genre I primarily cover, you know, there's a lot of carelessness going on, if that's even a word. I probably just completely made that up. But the amount of carelessness that they have is very disturbing when you look at the charts. So anyways, the subway is out now. Ultimately, I just want to let you know that I just want to let you know that I just want to let know that because of course if you're a huge repel rowan fan then you already know that her most successful track as of right now is the pink pony club that is the 15th most played track in the

Starting point is 00:03:15 world and it's been on the charts for a whopping 58 weeks which is actually insane because if you look at the pink pony club specifically it well the album came out uh september 21st 2023 as far as what the pink pony club track was on but as far as the pink pony club track specifically i think that came out before yeah it came out before april 23rd of 2022 so as far as the entire three-year marketing rollout having different albums that you put out that's notoriously affecting the masses and it's not seeming like she's going to slow down at any point in time as if you don't know if you're um an avid chapelle rowan fan you probably already know this but Chappelle is going on tour, if you don't know, starting September 20th at New York City, of course, at the Forest Hills Stadium for four nights, September 20th through the 24th.

Starting point is 00:04:09 And of course, hold up now. Chappelle Rowan coming to Kansas City? Let me find out. Anyways, Kansas City, Missouri, Chappelle Rowan will also be there at the Museum and Memorial Park for two nights, October 3rd and 4th of the year, well, this year. so lastly october 10th through 11th she would be in pasadena pasadena i don't know how to say that i think that's california c a's for california right see just how you know i need to go back to college um let me see uh oh that definitely is california okay just had to make sure like hold on now you guys anyways um so california is where uh chappelle rowin will be october 10 through the 11th for two nights so ultimately

Starting point is 00:04:56 a giver and then the subway i don't know if it's leading up to a leading up to an album because of course her latest album is already doing phenomenal like i already said as far as the charts being considered she only has one album out um i just looked at that yeah she has a lot of singles out but as far as the album she has the rise and fall of a midwest princess on dsps and then that's it so with that being said i don't know if she's leading up to another album it has been two years since the rise and fall of a midwest uh of a midwest princess but that hasn't stopped people from listening to her album as it still currently the 24th most play album in the world and it came out september 22nd 23 so that being said um the first single uh was this uh first single i think it was um

Starting point is 00:05:46 the first single was the giver right i think it was the giver um we had the subway yeah the first single was the giver that came out March 13th of this year. And of course, now we have the subway that just came out yesterday as far as her singles in totality for the year of 2025. So that being said, click my link tree in my bio.
