Now Charlie XCX has put out an entire body of work.
15 tracks, 41 minutes, 31 seconds, under Atlantic Recording Corporation.
Let me tell you one thing.
Putting out a 41 minute body of work all by yourself, no features.
I mean, that's commendable in itself, and I ain't even listened to the album yet.
now as far as producers we have a g cook and hudson mohawk um there's a lot of things that her fan base
is enjoying when it comes to this album but one of the things that i'm going to point out is that
the whole album of the year discussion is a little too soon to have that conversation i know y'all
may think i'm hating but i'm just being honest you know if you're going to let publications tell
you what's album of the year and what's not i think we should have to have to be a little bit of
have another conversation. But the biggest thing you should know is that her fan base is seemingly
enjoying the album titled Brat. Now, of course, with me personally being more of a hip hop slash
R&B fan, getting into an album like Charlie XX would be a little challenging. But to be
honest, I did listen to the Billy Elish album. I did listen to the Taylor Swift album. And I'm not going to say it was torturous.
I actually enjoyed the listen. You know what I'm saying? But am I going back to it to replay it?
Of course not because I enjoy certain type of music. And with their respective genres, I'm just listening for the lyrics to see if they're given us any insight into their life.
because that's always what I've gravitated towards listening to something
and then you come in a way with certain gems that they've dropped about their life
or just life in general.
Anyways, when people bring up metacritic scores,
when people bring up pitchfork scores,
I mean, at that point,
we're talking about a different demographic as far as how they enjoy the music
and like for it to be rated amongst masses.
So personally,
I like to take my time with reviewing certain,
bodies of work and just listening to the Charlie XX Bratt album I think should be commendable
because at the end of day I could just ignore it you know so yeah Charlie XEX is putting out
an album some of the biggest things that her fan base is enjoying is you know just having a body
of work from her just talking about how everybody is slowly trying to turn into XEX and for the
people out there you know who I'm referring to.
I just love, like, don't you love certain beef and how women go about, like, beefing with other
women?
Like, it's just funny how you see that.
And it's like, dang, they really do it better than men when it comes to subliminally
dissing somebody outside of music because, you know, sometimes in the music, it's just
non-existent.
They'd rather sub somebody than diss them over a beat.
But that's besides a point.
I mean, Mariah Carey showed you how to make an ether for your.
favorite rapper so i mean i guess they can do it when they want to right so anyways um that's basically
not really too much to talk about when it comes to charlie xx that i'm aware of i mean as far as the
charts singles albums wise i didn't see anything on there so uh that's not to discredit her that's
just to say what it is you know objectively she's not charting in the top 50 when it comes the
album or singles and that's okay maybe with this album she'll put up some type of numbers with her
track and respective body of work so
that being said click my link tree in my bio let me know one of my social media is what do you think
about charlie xc's album titled brat and if you've been listening to it what is your favorite track
off of the album
